Daniel Schaffer: [Long review] We ended up not utilizing the services of Heart2Heart Ceremonies. We had initially called about a wedding venue, but when she called us back, she only seemed to want to sell us the services of an officiant (which we already have). She was fairly rude and off-putting, because she started asking us more questions about the officiant we have than about what we wanted in a wedding venue. It felt like she didn't want to even work with us because we already have our officiant, regardless of the fact that she was the point of contact for multiple wedding venues.Amendment: I have since spoken with Samantha Heart, and it looks as though there was a misunderstanding. Our initial phone call did not take place under the most ideal or professional circumstances. I was under the impression that the venue could be rented while utilizing the services of another officiant; however, it was brought to my attention that the venue is not available for those wishing to use an outside officiant (a fact which was not readily apparent to us, nor was that a fact that came up in the initial contact). I want to make it clear, though, that we have no reason to doubt her abilities as an officiant, or her abilities to create beautiful days to remember; we just already had our officiant selected, and that person is an individual very close to our hearts. The questions she was asking about our officiant were ways she was trying to protect our marriage (making sure he was qualified, etc.); however, many of the questions did appear rude and prying, both in nature and in tone.I believe our interactions were a combination of misunderstanding and not-a-good-fit for our wedding needs.If you believe that Heart2Heart Ceremonies will be a good fit for your wedding needs, then by all means; please ignore this review. We wish everyone can have the wedding of their dreams and the wedding that they want and deserve - we personally just did not get this feeling from this company. Kelley Crawford: Kevin officiated for a friend's wedding and they couldn't say enough nice things about him. I reached out with very little notice, and Kevin responded immediately. At first, he thought he may be booked but he offered to assist with back up if that was the case. Thankfully, Kevin was able to perform our ceremony and it was such an easy, worry-free experience working with him. I loved how much we were able to accomplish virtually including the survey he had us take to learn more about us. Then we met by Zoom which was so convenient given how busy we are. It was a nice, quick meeting and he was very attentive to our needs and wants for the ceremony. He also gave us a lot to think about in regard to how traditional or progressive we wanted the ceremony providing ideas on how to accomplish one or both. He was easy to talk to, we enjoyed our conversation with him, and were excited for the big day. We wanted our ceremony to be short and sweet but still meaningful and personal to us as a couple and the journey we've been on to this point. He did a phenomenal job doing just that. He was able to weave in pieces of our story and how we met, and even made a point to include my step daughters in the ceremony. It was simple and beautiful at the same time, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Kevin nailed it, and we are very grateful that he was able to join us for our special day. We would highly recommend Kevin.

Kali LaVigne: Kevin was the last vendor that we chose for our wedding, and I'm so glad we waited until we found him-- he truly pulled all of our hard work together and created the most perfect ceremony we could have ever asked for. He is super personable, so meeting beforehand, rehearsal, his attendance at our welcome party, and the ceremony were all fabulous as he did a great job conversing and getting to know us and our families. The ceremony was the perfect balance of traditional and personal, and we truly couldn't have imagined anything better.

However, the downside is none of our guests were able to hear him or heard anything he had said because he had denied using a microphone and stated he would be able to project for everyone to hear. It makes me sad that Kevin who is an incredible speaker and told our story and the rituals he did was so moving yet no one except the first two rows heard. I highly advise to ensure he has a microphone so everyone can hear how talented he is! Importantly, my husband and I heard it and it was so moving that I could not stop crying! Quinn Gross: Kevin Holland was a fabulous officiant to work with for our summer 2020 wedding. He took the time to get to know us as a couple, heard our vision for the ceremony, and offered suggestions on how to accentuate the ceremony even further. He is comfortable working with religious texts/traditions as well as secular texts/traditions. Our summer 2020 wedding was considerably downsized due to Covid, and Kevin was willing to work with us again in summer 2021 for our large wedding celebration. He modified the script we used in 2020 to be more of a vow renewal celebration while maintaining the spirit of our original wedding ceremony. He is personable, funny, and professional. We highly recommend Kevin Holland for all your wedding needs. He was so great, he married us twice!

My husband and I come from different religious backgrounds, and we knew it was going to be tricky to have a wedding ceremony that would be inclusive for both of our families. Our wedding planner recommended Kevin Holland, and he did a phenomenal job. He wrote a very beautiful ceremony that literally gave our wedding guests goosebumps. It was very personalized to our love story and our backgrounds. Wedding ceremonies typically follow the same patterns, which causes them to not be very memorable. Kevin Holland did such an amazing job, that the wedding ceremony was a lot of the guest’s favorite part of the entire wedding, because he set a really positive and uplifting tone that really underscored how special and momentous of an occasion it was for us and our families to come together as one. It made people feel that they were really witnessing something special and that they were getting to be included in our love story. What we also really appreciated was that Kevin was so on top of making sure every aspect of the ceremony occurred smoothly and seamlessly. He gave very subtle cues and gestures to people who had roles in the ceremony. For example, to indicate where someone should stand to do their reading or reminding my maid of honor to take my flowers, etc… It’s really easy for people to forget these things in the moment when all eyes are on them. He also knew to stand out of the frame for the kiss. I would recommend him 10 times over to anyone about to get married, especially if your wedding ceremony may be non traditional. He is very skilled and experienced in navigating situations where two people come from different religious backgrounds, and he can modify the ceremony to include as much or as little reference to religion as you want. We could not have asked for a better experience!

He asked questions and listened to what we wanted and based on that, he put together the most perfect ceremony that was the perfect blend of traditional and non-traditional elements, just like we wanted.
