Devon McCurdy: Ordered a nectar mattress, queen. Received a king sized mattress on first delivery. On second delivery, another king was brought in. After speaking with the store manager, district manager, and online customer service, no workaround other than providing a new metal frame for the unwanted mattress was offered. Unwanted king mattress has sat in home foyer for six days. Mattress is scheduled to be returned after nine days of taking up space. Living arrangement with new baby has been disrupted for nine days as a result of the unwanted mattress. No other offers were made on the part of mattress firm, and no escalation policy exists outside of store manager for any resolution. This has been the single worst interaction I have had with a big box store, from start to finish. At no time did I want a king mattress, and no other solutions were provided or suggested by any of the mattress firm employees involved. If anyone runs into any issues with Mattress Firm, pray that the experience is better than mine.

I asked him at the end if he could give me the out the door price on the one I'd chosen, and he not only provided a detailed breakdown, but incorporated some specials as well. This written information had been hard to get at other places we'd shopped. Later last evening, my husband and I went back and he went through all my husband's questions thoroughly. We purchased during that visit--pretty rare for us! Lynwood was amazing. We highly recommend him and Mattress Firm at Crossroads in Cary.

Tyler Phelps: UPDATE: Silas no longer works there, unfortunately, but I did buy a third mattress from him before he left.This is the second time I've bought a mattress from Silas and I'll buy a third when the time comes. Although it was about a year between purchases, he recognized me and was pleased to hear how well the first mattress worked for my family. He was incredibly patient with my indecisive child he and helped us find the right size, comfort, price, and delivery window. It wasn't easy to meet all those needs at once but Silas did so in a professional, thoughtful, no-pressure manner. As a working mom, I especially appreciated that he worked with me fairly and with respect (I remember a time when this was not necessarily the case for a woman making a large purchase).Delivery of the first mattress and removal of the old one went smoothly but as it was in the midst of COVID it was very brief and took place on our porch so I don't have much to say there. I assume delivery of the second will go smoothly and will update my review after. Of note, it costs $50 extra if the delivery folks move the mattress upstairs.UPDATE: mattress delivery was excellent. They were quick, on time, respectful of my space, masked, and professional. The mattress was wrapped well.

Arianna Mellardo: Although the staff was nice and helpful… I ended up paying for a 1600$ mattress that did not end up helping my back issues. After 2 months I called the store to see if I can trade it in, the mattress is in perfect condition. I was told there are no trade ins or refunds. It’s been almost 6 months since I’ve purchased this mattress and I’m still having the same issues. Still in perfect condition, but not helping my back. So long story short I kind of got screwed. If you walk into any mattress store they have a 120 day trade in policy. If you’re spending over a thousand dollars on a mattress and it’s in perfect condition you should be able to at least trade in the item. Quality sleep is incredibly important for your health. Make sure you read the fine lines before you sign any paperwork. This was not told to me while testing out the mattress. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else because paying for a mattress is incredibly expensive to still have a rough nights sleep.especially while working the front lines during the entire pandemic. Pretty unhappy.

We purchased our first over 17 years ago and are now ready to have the ability to raise our heads and feet to make our sleeping even better! Brandy in the Cary store was exceptional! She is very knowledgeable and asked lots of questions to make sure we were getting the best bed for our needs. We did not feel any pressure to buy or buy more bed than we actually needed! My husband and I have very different sleep needs and the Sleep Number bed has been one of the best purchases we ever made! We are so excited to get our new bed and start using the new features! Chris Little: Walking in we were met by friendly staff (Karen). Since we were new to the store she spent a good amount of time explaining and walking us through the process. Trying almost all the beds and setting to find the best bed/mattress for us. Which was great since we apparently liked totally opposite comfort settings.Her knowledge and patience was great in the very busy store that day.She kept in touch over the weekend and Dwight helped us place the order on the phone the next weekday.

Thomas: Love my Sleep Number bed with adjustable softness. Just added an adjustable platform for lifting both head and legs. The beds are expensive, but last a very long time. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Brian Parrott: I had done my homework and had an idea of what I wanted, but my wife wanted to try the bed out before we purchased. Young gentleman, goes by E, at the Cary location helped my wife and I select the right bed, pillows, and accessories we needed. I learned a ton just visiting the store and letting them go over all the information. I'd suggest reading reviews and doing your homework ahead of time, but I also suggest going to the store and checking all the different options out in person.
Christima Patterson: I dread shopping/buying furniture as much a new car but Ebony made it like shopping with a good friend that is an interior decorator. She found me exactly what I wanted; a super comfy couch in cream (for $449), a mattress that felt like lying on a cloud and a gorgeous Art Deco bed frame. I came in $600 UNDER budget. So don’t dread, ask for Ebony!
Debbi Hillman: I have never stepped foot into a Sleep Number mattress store before, assuming the mattresses would be the most expensive in the industry, and one which I would never be able to afford. But to my surprise, the bed that suits my husband and I the most was thousands of dollars less than a competitor’s store just a few doors down and another store a block away. Not only was it less expensive, but we also will get more for our money and it seems much higher quality than the mattresses at other stores. Sleep Number can adjust mattress firmness AND they also can have an adjustable base so that the head can incline as well as the feet. AND, each side of the bed can do this independently if you get the split mattress. All the adjustments occurred without sound, whereas the 2 other stores’ beds made noise when they were being adjusted. These beds are warranted for 15 years, so in my mind, this is a great purchase that I wish I would have made a bit earlier in my life.
Nicole Perzyna: I went in for a mattress and ended up leaving with a bedroom set, mattress and beautiful bar stools. Had it not been for the knowledge from the young salesman Korey I would have only gotten a mattress. I mentioned that I just moved here and he pointed out the sale for the holiday. I was so impressed by his enthusiasm, and energy. He wasn’t pushy but asked me what my needs and budget was. I was thrilled at all the beautiful items for such a fantastic price! I enjoyed shopping without the pressure, but still had a very knowledgeable, helpful attitude. I will definitely be back and sharing my experience with everyone I know local in NC. dana herriven: Don't bother. Their customer service reps don't want to sell a pillow and sheets when they "can call you before they leave...so you don't have to wait" I didn't want to wait....I wanted to buy a pillow and a sheet set? SMH
Spencer Weeks-Jamieson: I just bought a new mattress from here and it couldn't have been friendlier or easier. I spoke with Melanie about my back problems and my need for a new mattress, as well as my budget. She assured me that we would be able to find something that would provide the support I need without busting the bank. In fact, she and Jim ended up finding me an incredible deal on a high end mattress that would have been way out of my price range. Overall, best experience I've ever had spending a lot of money (though still way less than I was expecting to spend). On top of that, the mattress was even better than they led me to believe, best nights sleep I've had since my youth!!!

Julie was patient and took the time, explained the differences once I have narrowed down to couple of options.I have been shopping for new bed for few weeks. Most places I have been seemed only interested in closing the sale, splitting their time among several potential customers in the showroom. That was the sharp contrast with Sleep Number - I did not feel rushed, and had all my questions answered.I originally went to the Sleep Number store, so I could "rule out" that option, as I was ready to make a purchase with a different manufacturer. But the pleasant experience with Sleep Numner had won me over! I am looking forward to my new Sleep Number bed delivery!
