The Butcher's Market of Cary: what do users think?
Julie Carlino: Great shop with everything needed for meat
Thomas Quinn: Great selection of marinated meats. Prepare to pay a pretty penny, but the taste of the marinated meats are fantastic. They have craft beers available for purchase and other unique items that are not easy to find all in one place. Highly recommend!
Matthew Orlemanski: Great place, great meats
goutham siddhu: I recently visited The Butcher's Market of Cary and was blown away by the quality of the meat and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the selection was impressive, including a variety of grass-fed, organic, and locally sourced options. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and offered helpful recommendations based on my preferences. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. Overall, I highly recommend The Butcher's Market of Cary to anyone who values high-quality meat and excellent customer service
Nicholas Tart: Friendly staff and best meats and sandwiches in the area
James C.: Purchased some spectacular dry aged NY strip steaks today. They grilled up amazingly and the meat was buttery smooth and delicious. Great sides and wide selection of seasonings and rubs. I am a salt and pepper steak man, but for other meats great possibilities. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Found a winner here and will make it part of the regular rotation!
jason jones: My first visit here. Very impressed
Jenn Smith: Great store! Very helpful staff!!
Christopher Musante: Very professional and they had everything we needed.
Eric Nguyen: First time coming here and I'll definitely come back. Service was quick and friendly. They had some great options all around. Shout-out to Zoe for the upsell on all the products. Took home the stores frozen chicken meatballs and they were outstanding!
Golf Bob: Wonderful place to shop for all kinds of meat including rabbit. Lots of sauces, rubs, and side dishes too! I will be back!!!
Jan Eichen: Danny and the Butcher's Market in Cary made our Thanksgiving great and went above and beyond helping us with our order. All was incredibly delicious!
John Hardman: A bit pricey, but excellent quality.
Rob Vogel: It's rare to find steak this well done
Joe Schofield: Updated review: been coming here for years and still never disappoints.I'm appalled at myself for not writing a review for this place already. I grew up in a small neighborhood with a local butcher. We used to go here and get fresh meats and local grocery items. The place I knew is long gone and replaced with chains. The Meat House has really brought me back to that local feel. This place is amazing and their meat selection is unbelievable. The butchers here are very friendly and welcoming. You can also ask for items that aren't on display, such as selections of fresh lamb cuts or pork belly slabs and they'll cut it fresh, or order it if its not in stock. They are always open to answering questions and giving advice on food prep and cooking, as well as giving you ideas for a meal. Great place and worth the extra cost.
Daniel Wuliger: If you’re not getting your meat here, you’re missing out. Service is always amazing! Food is always beyond what you could imagine fresh could be. I mean, aside from their tender and delicious fry aged beef. I am going to have them provide my turkeys this year. Last year they provided me with a 5 pound prime rib roast. Amazing!!!
Robert Adams: A disappointing trip to the Butcher's Market. First, it had no whole roasting chickens except possibly in the freezer. That's not my idea of a butcher shop. Secondly, the meat clerk had no idea what a fresh pork ham was. Okay, I'll give a break;a lot of people don't although I would think a specialty meat store clerk would. Guy#2 appears and after I explain what I wanted, he says they don't have that. Now, in this discussion, I didn't detect any overt rudeness but I got a definite vibe that he thought I was wasting his time. Just not friendly, helpful, or sympathetic. Sort of soured me on the Butcher's Market.
Casey Murdock: Best spinach artichoke dip ever!!!!!! Pair it with some pita bread and you’ll be obsessed like we are in our family!!!
Sandi Perry: Wonderful store!!
Sylvester Daniels: Great place for all your cooking needs. My favorite at this location is theHot Pastrami sandwich.
Suzie So: I just devoured a hot steak and cheese sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've had in months.

Country Butcher Custom Meat Processing: what do users think?
Mike a: Quick turn around time!! The country sausage is amazing!
Tom Moon: My name is Tom Moon and I would just like to say how outstanding and professional both Don the owner of Country Butcher and his son Steven are @ providing their services @ the butcher shop. I have been doing business with both of these fine gentlemen for the past 18 years and have enjoyed every hunting season having these good folks process my venison. I am reminded everytime my wife or myself prepares a venison meal for our family on how well everybody @ the Country Butcher Shop does their part on how meticulous they are @ processing our venison. Wrapped to perfection. Never any bone or fur in our venison. Prices are very fair and reasonable as well. Both Don and Steven are very personable, professional, and polite face to face and on the phone when they call for your venison pick up. I will continue to use their most appreciated service's! Thank you fellas for doing such a great job. And everybody else @ The Country Butcher shop such a successful beyond clean place to have your venison processed !😉
lawrence cornelius: I taken several deer here , the best in NC . Great prices , wonderful service !
Brandon Yancey: 1st time customer and could not be more pleased. Drop off was simple and easy, Owner took time to explain options, which was extremely helpful. Turnaround time was less than 5 days. We dropped off two deer and had breakfast sausage, cube steak, hamburger and summer sausage made. The packaging was very professionally done. Italian sausage was great and the summer sausage is excellent. Cube steak and hamburger on the menu for this weekend. Will definitely be going back.
Brigitte: Just want to feed my deers......NOT KILL THEM!!!!!!
Bryan Hunt: Very nice staff. Good small business based on Christian conservative values and morals. The order was ready when promised. I've had their ground venison before for spaghetti chili cheesy mac hamburger helper etc and it's excellent.Went for maple sausage links this time as I have had their country sausage previously and it did not have much flavor and was very dry and liver and bloody tasting. The sausage this time did not have any maple flavor was very salty and very dry even though I asked for additional pork fat to be added. I did add a little bit of water to the pan and browned and turned several times over a lower medium heat until the internal temperature was reached as needed me outside had some nice golden brown edges. "Spicy" temperature was right on par as I was hoping for. The sausage I took was made from ham meat deboned silver skin removed etc. I may have just gotten a bad batch this time.Owner and his son again are very friendly very helpful and deliver the order as promised.
Anthony Pinto: Best prices around for deer processing. I won’t be bringing my deer anywhere else anymore. This is the third place I tried this season and I wish I came across this place sooner.
Doug Murray: Top notch processing, fairly priced and great tasting venison sausage!!! I highly recommend Country Butcher!!!
Quenton Foster: Quick turn around! Fair price! Great product!
Ashley Morris: Since moving to Raleigh, NC I've taken numerous deer to these folks and have yet to be disappointed. Great people, great prices & great meat. Highly recommend the cube steak & brats!
Rubicon This: Brought my giant whitetail here full body minus the hide...went around back and the owner promptly met me there after I rang the bell. I help him get the deer on the hooks since it was too big for a one man job. Filled out a slip of what I wanted, hot Italian sausage, ground meat, and save as many steaks as the meat would let him. I received a call four days later that everything has been processed and picked up two days later. Met the owners son and checked me out, had 35 lbs of sausage, roasts and burger a total of 96 lbs and cost $130 to process which I thought was totally fair. Will update after eating breakfast, lunch and dinner tomorrow!
Melinda Adams: Always do an awesome job!
Glenn M: Used Country Butcher for the first time this year. Couldn't be more pleased with the quality. The brauts are delicious.
Edward Platt: The brats are phenomenal! First time with Country Butcher. Will be back.
brandon Kelley: Great place to have your deer processed at and friendly people to deal with
Tim Hurst: Kind, fast, and good.
Grant Warner: I haven't got my deer back yet but I'm a first time deer hunter and got my first deer last night. I finished gutting and skinning my deer and got to their building right at 9pm on a Friday night literally as they were locking the door and they still let me drop off my deer! I really appreciate them dealing with a newbie and helping me select what I wanted on their cut sheet! Very helpful and great customer service! Can't wait to get my deer back!
Peter Winch: Personalized service, goes the extra mile for you without having to ask. 🎯
Josh Long: I took some hams and back straps from a few does I shot and wanted to try something new. I usually just use my venison for chili, spaghetti, cube steak, and sometimes I'll grill some back straps. I took the meat to Don on and in just 3 or 4 days he had my processed meat ready. I had him make it all country link sausage. It was tasty. Let's remember if you want Bass Farm or Neese's sausage you need a hog and about $5.00/lb. I took him a deer and paid about $2.00/lb. Shop was clean. Hope to befriend with Don as I usually shoot 3-6 does each year and I care about what I put in the belly. I'll be going back and recommend you do as well.
Melissa Pearce _ Staff - NeuseRiverMS: Best butcher shop around!! Friendly people and very knowledgeable. You can tell they take pride in their work. DELICIOUS summer sausage!! I won't take my meat any where else!
Graziano de luca: Took pig shoulder and leg to get sausages. What i got was unseasoned sausages and overpriced , almost 4 times more than other butchers paid $2 per pound , other charges $0.60 pet pound, plus $20 processing fees.Never again.
