Duke Medicine Creedmoor: what do users think?
Ali Abdulameer: My today experience with Dr. Richard Jones was great. He is friendly pay attention to what u say, and explain everything regarding the issue in details. I definitely highly recommend him. The only downside is the waiting time which I understand.
brownsugar79 Bond: Worst place I’ve ever visited!!!!! Go elsewhere!!! The dr’s are very unsympathetic!!!! The front staff is very Ghetto & unknowlegable !!!!!!! A 5 minute visit& they are shoving u out the door!!!!! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Winslow Mason: Great Dr's and staff.
karen: HORRIBLE! ALL OF IT! The technicians who take blood, BP, etc are completely unsympathetic with people who have difficulties with the procedures. They make ZERO accommodations to minimize pain (such as taking BP by hand or believing a patient when she says blood has to come out of the hand instead of the arm!). My Mom's neuropathy has been untreated FOR YEARS despite it being one of her main complaints. I was just made aware of this and many, many requests for it to be tended to have reaped exactly ZERO results. None. Nada. I have been complaining for over 6 weeks to get her on something but no one others to take it seriously. This place is AWFUL! Feedback on the Nextdoor Website buttresses this opinion. Oh! Here's a new thing - $75 charge to ADMINISTER an injection. JUST TO GIVE THE DAMNED THING! No, that price does not included what's inside the syringe. Duke is going down hill fast. I know of a lot of MD's who are leaving bcs Admin is now controlling the care.
Joy Holloway: Dr. Renjel is the best hands down. He is quick and to the point without coming off as unfriendly or leaving you with the feeling of being rushed. I believe his approach is why I've never had to wait more than 10 mins to be seen. If I have questions he gives me the answers that I need. If I tell him I'm having issues he immediately has solutions that I can try to make my health better.I have a great experience with all the nursing staff and receptionists at this location. The women who draw blood are quick and great at their jobs.I would recommend Dr. Renjel and the staff at this location.
C Sol: This is the worst primary care. I went to request an ultrasound due to right abdomen pain and Dr. Barbour denied it and said sounded like gastritis. I ended i the hospital and I am having my gallbladder remove tomorrow due to gallstones. I went back today to see Dr. Bianconi to request tests for low blood sugar due to I feel like it gets too low to the point of passing out. He practicly called me a Hypochondriac and that I imagine illnesses I don't have. I will be switching firms soon. They don't care about the patients..they are not proactive and don't care to listen.
Chayla Handley: This location is one of the best and they have same day access, which is wonderful!
tammy Bukowski: Just moved here and went to this primary doctor..The staff was pleasant and quickly got my info..the Dr Renjel was very knowledgable and was thorough..I like this Primary care..Im lucky to picked a good primary...
J.F Okon: I have gone to this practice for about six years and have always been treated with respect, have had success getting referrals when needed, and I hold my primary MD, Dr. Bianconi, in high regard. When I have been unable to see him, the other MDs, NPs and PAs I have seen or had virtual visits with have been professional and helpful. The nurses and front desk staff have always been kind and professional as well. I find using Duke's online app very useful for last minute appointments and refills have several family members who also go to this practice and have had positive experiences.
Dick Johnson: I got there 15 minutes early like instructed, then i waited for an hour for my doctor who spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me. This was after my doctor cancelled on me once during the week already. By the time I have wrote this review I have already gotten a new doctor with a different practice. Do not waste your time with this place, they don't care about you. They just see you as a copay and a box to check in their computer system.
Tess Saucier: I was scheduled for an appointment but went to the wrong location because no one told me otherwise. Was worked into the schedule and seen by someone who was not my regular. She told me it was viral and to go home. The next day my entire face is pounding and filled with mucus so I call back and she write amoxicillin for a sinus infection. Guess what doesn’t work on sinuses according to a doctor I just saw yesterday? Amoxicillin. It’s been 3 weeks of me suffering because I’m suppose to trust someone else’s judgement over my own that seem to have very little concern for practicing good medicine. I will be going to someone else who wants to listen and treat patients.
Alisha S. Brown: I do not like the way they treat patients and the way I was approached. The Dr. Literally suggested a medication and gave 1 refill. I had to request refill after. The way the office called me as if I was being forced to make an appointment because I needed drug. I don't need ANYTHING but the peace of God. It was like no thanks. Switch.....
La-Trenda Herring: No concernment for their patients. Nor do they even listen to their patients
Matt Green: Just like another person has posted. My annual physical exam was billed as outpatient visits AND a physical exam. When I called in and asked why this was. It was because I asked questions outside of the scope of my physical. All I did was talk about my elbow and back and was told to not worry about it because of my age. That. Was. It. I got a bunch of run around with "That is how it is coded there is nothing we can do" type of comments until I said I was going to transfer Doctors. Then they decided to try to reduce the cost. I was in and out in less than an hour for my physical. I didn't get blood work done either. So its not like I was there for 2 hours and wasted a ton of the Doctors time.I was also told by the Doctor when I was worried about pain in my back that I shouldn't have it looked at because "While searching for one thing you might find something else entirely." As a reason not to worry about it. What logic is that? Isn't finding something early normally a good thing?Long story short, they doubled the cost of my bill for asking medical questions at my physical. And that just seems crazy. Avoid this Doctor Office at all costs!
J W: I went to see AMNA SHABBIR for physical exam on Nov.21. However, Dr. Shabbir coded the visit not only physical exam but also outpatient visit. My annual physical exams have never been billed as outpatient visits even more comprehensive exams were done. Claiming that she didn’t have my medical records, Dr. Shabbir scheduled me a follow up visit. Actually, I called Rheumatology Clinic and made sure my old record was in Duke health system before I made an appointment with her. Later I gave the information for request my medical records, but she or her office still hasn’t sent the request so far. Her office staff told me the billing office coded me physical exam and outpatient visit, and let me call the billing office. However, the billing office told me the doctor coded that way. I certainly see it as unethical.Based on lab work from my last year's physical exam, my doctor referred me to see Rheumatologist and I picked a doctor in Duke Health. Since it has been a year I haven't a chance of seeing Rheumatologist. I asked Dr. Shabbir to order the similar lab work I did last annual physical before seeing the Rheumatologist, but she refused to do so. She just ordered common lab work but has never discussed results with me. In addition, I asked Dr. Shabbir to refer me to an ENT doctor, but has never heard it back.Dr. Shabbir is the most incompetent and irresponsible and the worst physician I have ever seen. If you want to take a good care of yourself, please avoid Dr. Shabbir.
Brandon: i spent years in pain no one new why i was hurting came here and seen Catherine Delbuono she said i think it is this she ran a test and here it was a little antibiotics and i was like new again and Richard Schneider i went and seen him i could barley walk mt back was killing me i seen him and bam i was able to walk straight with no pain i love this place they are very nice people an they now what they are doing thank you duke for taking care of me
Mary Flynn: This is the worst pcp office I have ever been to. I get the same prescription each month and they have messed it up so many times. I leave messages and noone returns the call. Went to pick up 2 precriptions they only had one! Avoid this office
Jen S: Thumbs down on this place. Had a doctor there who never took enough time with me. Then i requested a different doctor.. she saw me two or three times, then told me I needed to go back to the other doctor. And, for 2 1/2 years, i have had chronic health problems, but they have not helped me in the least. The office staff are impersonal and cold at times. I would recommend going elsewhere.
Kimberly White: I have been a patient for 8 years now and have always seen Cathy del Bueno. She does not just treat the symptoms, but treats you as a whole. There is never a rush through appointments and she will spend as much time as necessary to ensure you are comfortable and have all of the information you need prior to leaving the office. I moved to Durham a year ago and still drive to this location for the quality of care and service
Doctor Bombay: I have gone here for almost 2 years & am quite pleased with the care I receive from my primary care doc. What I like about DPC is that if you need additional care, it is very easy to get a referral & they're very efficient in that regard. The front staff is very business-only, so if you're looking for some bubbly, Southern belles , this is not the joint, but they do a good job getting their job done. Also of note, the Duke system has it set up so you can schedule appointments online, request refills and basic medical advice. My only gripe is that because of the electronic medical records, often the staff is too busy to give that old school bedside matter. Still, I think they know their stuff.
Floyd Froman: Dr. Richard Schneider is an excellent primary care doctor and the Duke Health Care facility is top notch. My wife and I are very happy to have found great health care in Raleigh.
