I love UrAvgConsumer: this school looks like ass. Straight up ASS. ok, the teachers are pretty decent. Some of them get mad randomly. some are really rude and sassy. I know that teachers have to grade a lot of papers and are constantly working and their stressed out, but what is the point of teachers if your going to act sassy and rude to your students. I swear, Mr.Winters is the only reason I'm going there. If he wasn't going there, this school would deserve a no star.

Salem: Ok Overall this School Sucks ill tell youin 6th grade was fineok until 7th grade suckedi had this friend and she bullied me cuz i was friends with a different person next the 7th graders have no heart you fall or make a mistake they laugh at you also some of my teachers suckedFor example My Math teacher Ms Webster she HATED ME.So one time before i left i asked her if i could get my grades upand she responded "WELL I COULD HELP IF YOU PAYED ATTENTION AND ACTUALLY WERE SMART" she said that in front of everybody and that was so embarrassing i wanted to flip her off and run into the bathroom and CRY. the teachers lower your self esteem some of them are actually cool. but one time in gym i put my Backpack in the locker room *cuz i want privacy* then all the sudden Ms Harris went into the locker room and threw out all of the backpacks She Even CLIPPED HE LOCKS and she broke my friends IPHONE SCREEN and she threw out MY $300 computer thank god she did not break it CUZ i would Sue Her.and she Embarrassed us in front of everyone pointing at us and did not let us participate in gym and would Take off points and WE EVEN DRESSED OUT and everyone clapped at us saying "goodjob!!" i wanted to slap and strangle them but i kept my cool.also the School dances suck so cheap and the food and music suckedok im done Spread the WORD thank you and Bye.

Al Mai: This school had so many issues when I attended! From what I saw, the school only facilitated funds for waxing the gym floor instead of investing into educational resources. Because of this, my classes usually consisted of old textbooks with outdated information. Some of the health textbooks were so old that they literally suggested to use Ipecac if your kid was poisoned.When I left, they reassigned the principal to a different position because, "she wasn’t keeping up with her duties of evaluating the school’s teachers"; however, that principal NOW suing WCPSS because of "racial discrimination".

Rukhsana Parveen: This school is actually pretty good. I enjoy it here and here is why I say that; The school is better than at my Elementary school, they actually serve fresh food and not just a packet with a PB&J inside of it. Most of my teachers are awesome and actually care about your education, instead of them just doing it for the money. Unfortunately there are some downsiders too. I've seen a couple of fights here at this school, I don't know if these people are trying to become popular or something (Which is working) or they just really hate each other. Another downside is that this school has to many people fighting I don't know if they really hate each other or they're just trying to become popular. Another downside is that this school has too many people and is nearly overflowed, when the bell rings the hallways immediately fill up with kids, and some of them shove and push each other. As you can see there are many reasons why I think this school is good and why I think this school is bad. Overall, it's not that bad.

The Wicked Witch of the Wah: DEPRESSION, SADNESS, AND UNFAIRNESS. These 3 words are the best way to describe West Cary middle. Some say this place is most likely worse than hell while others said West Cary Middle was hell itself!!!! But why? You might want to know so here is this insanely long review. This lists the reasons why this school sucks note that every thing in here is TRUE!!! My experience here at West Cary Middle started at 6th grade. Sixth grade which wasn’t that bad overall, nothing during this time was too worthy for complaining about ,the teachers were good, I learned what I needed to, bullying was just a small problem (not much of it going on). So ya it was an okay school year I thought that 7th grade would be basically the same but I was SO WRONG ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first thing I noticed were most of the teachers seemed more strict than the 6th grade teachers the second thing I noticed was most of the teachers will choose their favorite students and there least favorite students right away. Here is some examples of teachers choosing their least favorite students and treating them unfairly. First Mrs.Lewis’s class (she retired recently), There are two kids she got mad at more than anyone in the classroom who I will call Bill1 and bill2 for privacy reasons, they most of the time will do the same as everyone else in the classroom yet she will get mad at them instead of others. Me I thought that Mrs.Lewis was one of the better teachers I had. Many would agree that she was a great teacher. But not Bill1 and Bill2 and I can’t blame them for thinking this way because of how unfairly they were treated in her class. I definitely knew what this horrible experience was like because a teacher known as Mrs.Dancy did the same to me... However I had it worse than Bill1 and Bill2 because she did all of this: She lectured me about talking in the hallway even though you are allowed to talk there, she got mad at my friend for being friends with me and tried to convince him not to be friends with me because I am a bad influence or something YES FOR REAL!!!, Once I got a lecture in the hallway for coughing, I would get about two lectures in the hallway per week for stuff that wasn’t my fault, done by everyone else too, or just a very stupid for her to get mad at she sent so much emails to my mom about behavior that my mom didn’t even care if she sent an email she was use to getting emails about my behavior from Mrs.Dancy it annoyed not only me but my mom too. Now next I will explain 8th grade. At the time I am writing this it’s quarter 3 in the school year and so far 8th grade is basically 7th grade but with more work and no Mrs.Dancy (major improvement) that’s all I have to say about 8th grade. Here are some things about the school that I also don’t like: The school constantly repairs it’s gym floors about every year even though the floor is fine! So much better things can be done with the large amount of money it likely takes to do this to the floors like for an example they could repair the locker rooms that have broken lockers, cracked tiles, and old rusty shower heads that are for some reason still on the wall something brown water drips from them it’s gross. Also the lunch periods are done in a way where some 8th graders are put in 7th grade lunch while others will be put in 8th grade lunch so you have a chance of being separated from your friends at lunch. And the assigned excel class stops you from going where you really need to go. Okay I am tired of writing this I’m bored now just remember this: West Cary Middle school is the cause of suffering for many kids :(

Apoorva Joshi: I liked the school, however the cafeteria foods sucks and the bathrooms are really bad. Also, the school has a weird rule about not being able to bring bags to your classes and if you ask any of the teachers why, they don't give you a reason. The lockers and locks are really damaged so if you are late to class because your locker was jammed, you still get counted tardy because quote unquote "you didn't have a pass" Overall there isn't much bullying and the students are good.

Bradyn Quinn: 1 teacher made me hate the school she would lie straight to me and my moms face and the would call me a liar and once called me a fool.another time she didn't call home when I had gotten punched in the head 4 times which is wake county policy to call home if you get pulled out of class and she not only did it once but many many more times and she has also walked into the boys bathroom 2! When she new people are in there and had not even gotten talked to nor in any kind of trouble if I could I would fire her .plus I'm not the only one who thinks the same thing my entire grade does thanks for a great 2 Year's that's why I'm moving schools.I DONT RECOMEND COMING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EVER NO MATER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Zaineb Viqas: No blatant issues with racism yet.My son is generally satisfied.Some teachers he mentions are very biased towards girls.Teachers do make lots of mistakes making tests and losing papers.The school is overloaded with students so very minimum chances of getting into a worthwhile club or getting a chance in a competition if you don't have a mentor or a peer in the school to guide you.My son takes his lunch so no complaints about cafeteria food.Although in the school orientation the staff insists that students should communicate with the teachers themselves my son's emails have NEVER been answered in the past 2 years unless I write an email from my account. Kids feel they are not heard.Bullying in the bus is a real feature!!

Peregrine Vaughan: I have gone to/go to this school. I can't say it's the worst on the planet, especially with the recent change in principal. My main issue would probably be the fact that the schools funds for digital science are being used, but we could actually fix leaky roofs or structural problems, with the same money. It's just an allocation problem. Another issue for me is the communications during school events: i.e. during "Creek Madness" (a school wide party), information from PTA member to school administration is painfully slowly relayed. Half of the staff members would be doing one thing, unknowing that they weren't actually supposed to- why? Because everyone finds it insanely hard to just communicate, for whatever reason.These issues are getting better, however, and I can assume this will be a much better school within 1-2 years. The teachers are helpful (in my experience), the staff are effective, and the principal is a great person.

Stephanie Cameron: This school is the perfect mix of diversity and education. My only regret is not transferring my daughter sooner. Teachers are amazing and invested. leadership is on point and I can not tell you how impressed I am with the diversity factor. My daughter enjoys going to school everyday!

The number of times my wife and I have shook our heads at a CA school decision and said "well, if we had to make that decision, we would have made it the exact same way".... We are so pleased, and proud our kids go to CA. Not many parents can say that about their kid's schools.
