Wake Monument Co Inc: what do users think?
D WW: Excellent people and service.
Jean Whitfield: Working with Wake Monument Company was a very pleasant experience. I wanted a base to raise the marker at my father's grave as the grass was beginning to grow over it. The three gentlemen that came out to install the base did an excellent job every step of the way. They were nice and very respectful in their task. I appreciated the way they were very precise in their work, measuring and re-measuring to make sure the marker was placed exactly as it should be. I highly recommend this company!
Charles Griffin: Friendly and helpful staff
Candis McLaughlin: We love the beautiful tombstone set AND kind customer service we received!! From designing to payment to installation, every employee we worked with was kind and professional. Dad’s special order tombstone took a little longer BUT looks exactly as we requested it to look. We HIGHLY recommend Wake Monument Company!! Definitely worth the wait!!
Harold Perry: Personal services is great! In a time of reflection and a time of recovery. Amen.
Walter Murchison: Nice people very good selections!
Tawanda Tucker: The service was poor...it was hot and no one else was there and it took 20 min fir someone to acknowledge me.
Teri Friedman: Ron had a lot of patience with making sure I was happy. I came in with an idea of what I wanted but also changed it around a couple of times. Am very glad I chose Ron and Wake Monument Company to help me with what was, for me, a difficult decision. Thanks Ron!!!!!!
Sharron Townsend: The service my sister and I received from Wake Monument was excellent. We live in Kentucky and our loved who passed away was in Johnston County, so we thought choosing a monument from hundreds of miles away would be difficult. Our worry was unfounded as Dave Bartholomew worked with us on every detail and made sure what we wanted was provided. I highly recommend Wake Monument as their caring service was beyond all expectations.
Patricia Kitto: Wake Monument engraved the back of my dad’s veteran’s tombstone. They did an excellent job with the actual engraving as well as helping us understand before it was “set in stone” what it would look like. They worked closely with the cemetery which meant all I had to do was email with them about the layout and etc.I highly recommend them!
John Duncan: Very professional. Takes care of our engraving at our church.
Deloris Richardson: Takes too long.
Wanda Hinton: Loved it staff great with helping you choose. Very friendly.
Charles Bass: Ok
Lisa Chappell: This family - operated business is committed to honesty, quality, and the highest level of professionalism.

Durham Marble Works: what do users think?
Cynthia Williams: I would like to thank Ron for creating a beautiful monument for my mother. It's a beautiful tribute to her life.
Marie Kate: Can’t be thankful enough to Ron for creating my father’s custom monument. It was very important part of our family’s journey, since my dad wanted to have specific grave stone. From the initial call for the appointment and coming to the office, till the installation, Ron did amazing job, by listening to our needs and addressing all of our concerns that we had along the way, including all of the little details that were so important to our family. They created a perfect quality grave stone with customary etched picture of my father and everything on the stone. It wasn't just laser work, it is actually a stone work which will last forever and will never fade… The picture of the train is so detailed that you can even see the gravel along the train tracks and even leaves on the trees…..The installation was done very quick professionally, and Ron called ahead of time to arrange our presence at the time of installation to make sure that we are satisfied with the job. After all, he made sure that we were happy with the gravestone. We asked if we could switch the vase for the bigger one, and Ron was very accommodating and helpful.I cant have enough great words about quality and professionalism of Ron. He made one of the most important moments of creating my dad’s forever memory so smooth and beautiful.Definitely will recommend Ron and his company.
James Marksbury: A great business. Ron is a truly nice guy, always willing to help.
Michelle Long: We have an antique cabinet with a green marble kick plate along the bottom, which was recently damaged (snapped in half), when the cabinet was being taken apart and moved. My husband called up Ron, the owner, and he told us to drop it off and he'd see what he could do. About a week later he called to say it was ready. When we picked up the marble piece it looked fantastic! Ron wouldn't even accept payment, saying it was just a bit of epoxy and some clamps. I guarantee we would not have managed to make it look so seamless had we tracked down the right epoxy and tried to do it ourselves. Now that it's back on the cabinet, I doubt anyone would know it had been repaired, unless we pointed it out, and it was closely inspected. We'll definitely trust Ron with any future marble needs. He is the definition of Southern hospitality.
Skeeter Daye: A flawless process in the hands of Ron Bartholomew. His knowledge and guidance was excellent, with great communication and social distance measures were used. Ron mailed and emailed all transactions. His field team was just as excellent. They washed the stones after installing and leveling. Their work was professional and they really took care of the grounds, while working.Thankful to Ron, for making the process pleasurable and really healing. Thanks Bro.Ozzie
ARTENIDA CELA: At first I spoke with Carolyn who was so patient and professional in answering my questions. Then she referred me to Ron, her brother who works in Durham since I live in Durham. He was also very professional, would take the time to listen to your requests and explaining the different designs and marbles available. The price was more affordable compared to the cemetery quote. I was able to pay half the price the cemetery requested, without compromising on the quality. The end product was better than imagined and it was delivered in a shorter time than promised. I would strongly recommend this place. Thank you Ron.
Angela Howard: Ron Bartholomew did an outstanding job for our family! He shows a level of compassion and care with his work. He takes a personal interest in his work and his final product is second to none. He was very friendly while giving excellent customer service. ~Gloria Howard~
Jàson Shambley: Called and left number twice, never called me back. Left an e mail and that was never answered. Good luck using Durham marble works
Jackie Jackson: Nice to work with.
Mike Roberts: Great place. Things done right and with dignity.
Norsena Laws: Mr. Ron was an angel,in the whole process of getting a headstone for my great Aunt Ida. The family love how the headstone looks and they made sure it was lined up with the rest of the family headstones. I will use them again. Long way off into the future.
Michael Pifer: Professional, friendly, skilled, and prompt. They make all the markers for my family, and have always done a perfect job.

It is absolutely beautiful ❤️💕A+ Customer Service 💯A+ Monument 💯
Martin Brossman: I got to me them in a class I was teaching and wanted to see their physicality and how they create monuments. I got a chance to see the quality and effort they put into making a monument or carving. They have been a family run business for over 35 years and is in Knightdale in 1994. Very impressive work and great to meet the owners.
