Chen Zhu: Nice trails, not crowded at all. Many opportunities to check out the lakeshore. Definitely pay attention to the hours on the website - google currently displays the winter hours
Justin P: I visited Jordan Lake Educational State Forest for a hike in summer. It was hot, but the forest canopy provided shade for much of the hike. There are a couple miles of trails in the forest, the longest is two miles and then three short half-mile loops. The trails are blazed and signed and very easy to follow. There are spur paths that lead out to the lake and a good number of wildflowers blooming along the trail. I also saw a pair of nesting osprey on the lake that were collected sticks for their nest. The hours are more limited compared to state parks, but also a lot less crowded.
Joshua Jury: Dog
Nichole Gantshar: Beautiful mostly flat hiking area. It can flood so be careful after big rains. The longest trail is only 2 miles but you can add on to enjoy the beautiful views
Andrew Snyder: Wonderful walking trails.
Jake Hofmann: Nice trails to walk on very beautiful along the lake. No beach is there however.
Carlos Ayala: Great place
Lien David: Activity
Deniro McAdory: Was flooded as started to rain. But did do a few trails and that was pretty decent.
Miguel AAG: Beautiful place for have fun with the family and friends.
Harold Meder: Nice open walking trails with beautiful lookouts over the lake, with benches.
Rosalind Galloway: Good

Michael Chen: Nice place. Great trails. Well maintained.
Richard Grablin: Pretty park with dense woods and varied terrain, and a well-groomed trail that runs through all of it. Visitors center there to visit with clean bathrooms and flushies. Abe Kim: Really nice nature walk, if the grounds incorporated some natural bug repellants, like sage or mints, itd be fantastic. Just make sure to wear/bring bug spray, especially on days after rain.Visited on Weekday …More
Chanchal: This has a nice children’s nature play area, classroom, trails on both east and west sides. Trails are covered with mulch, some stairs for up and down, at some places wooden boards for an easy walk, lovely observation lookouts for birds and Hemlocks. We saw owl, eagle, deers. I went just after a rainy day, would recommend to use mosquito repellent. Enough parking. Restrooms are near office. Liked use of different stuff for recycling and plantation.
Bota N: Beautiful place!

Allie Thurkill (Sock Thief): Beautiful spot to take a walk in the woods, but we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Poison ivy was at a minimum.
