Capital Sew and Quilt: what do users think?
Debbie Fullbright: So glad we found Capital Sew and Quilt! Tony was so very helpful in taking in my 57 year old Singer for routine maintenance. My sister was thrilled to talk with one of the sales staff as she considered purchasing a new serger. And she did purchase a new machine which she'll pick up in a couple weeks. A very good experience!
Annette Holliday: Professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I’d like to say Ruth Williams is a joy to work with. She knows the products and her customer service is top notch. They have serviced my Janome MC15000 and I will now have my Babylock Altair serviced there as well.
Mark Helms: Ruth Williams brings over 10 years of experience along with creativity and superb knowledge of the machines and always goes the extra mile to insure a happy customer. Very knowledgeable staff. Very helpful, friendly, not pushy! They take time to listen. They are also very creative with designs and very knowledgeable about their machines.
Diana Mann: After years of taking my machine to another dealer to be serviced, I found Capital Sew and Quilt. I thought my old tech was doing a good job until I got my machine back from Capital Sew and Quilt. I cannot believe how well this machine is running now! It has not been this quiet or run this well since I took it out of the box. Everyone in the shop knows their machines and I ended up buying a Juki I'd had my eye on for a while. All of my machines will be going to them for service from now on.
Michiyo “Mich” Vangellow: Aaron made a home visit to set up my HQ machine, he was very through and knowledgeable. I will definitely use this service again.
Connie Lee: I want to Thank Jennifer Moon for all her patience, kindness and help. I would never have figured it all out without her help. I would recommend anyone to visit Capital sew & quilt if they’re interested in a machine. Everyone there has been very nice and helpful but Jennifer went overboard to help me. 🙂 I will go to them in the future for all my sewing needs. Thank you, Connie Lee
Clairice Pellegrino: Friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful store!🤗
Dale Harrison: Captial Sew and Quilt are very friendly and helpful no matter what your interest are they will work to help you find just what need.
Amanda Phillips: Kind and knowledgeable. Fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes.
Skye Robertson: Oh man I need to shout out Jen and Jennifer I stopped in after work and they brought the energy!!! They showed me all the incredible things these machines can do. Managed to talk me into a new hobby. Keep these treasures!
Ellen Safrit: Jen & Jennifer are kind, helpful and professional seamstresses! I called with a stitching problem and they gave great advice. When I was still having problems, I took my machine in and they set me on the right path with grace and calm. I had the wrong thread, needle and bobbin but they took the time to show me how to fix it. What a wonderful team ❤️
Shellie Ogle: These folks know their machines. I had taken in a Brother Project Runway machine for repair. Before I left the machine, Jen asked if you I stay for a few minutes, 'maybe it is something simple'. So simple. She made the corrections and repairs within 15 minutes I was on my way home with a working machine.I will certainly be taking my Janome and Brother PR embroidery machine in for servicing and repair.
Sandra Haggett: I recently met Jennifer Moon at the fiber arts show and was discussing a problem I was having with my Handi Quilter Moxie and PSL (Pro-Stitcher Lite). Even though I had not purchased my machine at her store she was more than helpful. I wish I had been directed there by Handi Quilter when I purchased my Moxie. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Willing to spend time with you and answer all your questions. They have become my "go-to" for all things Handi Quilter.
Rhonda Jones: I have been very pleased with my sewing machine and service. Staff are so supportive and helpful.
A T: Knowledgeable people, very positive experience that surpassed my expectation of a first time visit to a repair shop . Great team --Thank you, Jennifer, Aaron, Tony !
Cynthia LC: Best place to take your sewing machine for service! They are friendly, very thorough and knowledgeable! My machine is running great! I will never go anywhere else.
Debra Tingen: This is an awesome store with awesome employees full of knowledge and always willing to help you. Jennifer you are a very talented person and definitely an asset to Capital Sew and Quilt. Santa is awesome!!!!🌲🌲
Cathy Locklin: I’m very happy with the service I received on my Handi Quilter longarm machine.
Heather Spiel: The best experience! Loved working with Jenn, who showed us how our machine worked and all her amazing handiwork in the store as well! Super grateful for her knowledge and expertise! Thank you, Jenn, for your time and skill you shared!
Wagrmom: Incredibly friendly and helpful! I had a mishap with my sewing machine and she had the problem identified and fixed within just a few minutes. A very welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. I will definitely use them for all my sewing machine needs from now on!
Sarah Park: I had an amazing experience here. The two people who were working there helped me with a sewing machine problem I was having and they were able to fix it in no time. They were friendly and very welcoming to me from start to finish.I will be going here again for all my sewing needs and problems.

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
Santiago Martinez: Great customer service
TALIA Will Tell Ya: Found what I was in need of and super helpful crew!
Josh Whetton: Lots of yarn in stock! Found what I was looking for and more.
Andy Cochran: Everything was all over the place...
Rebecca Hurwitz: Lots of knowledgeable help and items to choose from
Kelly McNutt: Short staffing and stores a mess. There's not much on shelves. Disorganized. Heard fabric cutter sat they don't even have time to put away bolts of fabric. It's like this everywhere. At least the staff they have ate friendly.
Lee Caitlin Garcia: Had an order pick up that I placed online. Cashier was rude and told me I had to wait in line like everyone else. Could’ve been nicer. What’s the point of ordering ahead if I still have to wait in a 30 minute line due to only having 1 cashier.
S T: My beautiful wife needed some fabric to create some teddy bears and this is her go to place. There's tons of fabric options. If you can't find it here I don't think it exists lol!The fabrics range from traditional solid color or patterns to theme celebrated options. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. The store wasn't overflowing with too much traffic in the checkout lines were quick. The fabric wasn't the only thing available there. She was able to purchase the inside stuffing, thread color desired as well as the tail, nose and eyes.I asked her if she would recommend the store and she said definitely. It has everything she needs in one place.
Andrea Wilson: I love this place. Friendly staff and a great Hero Arts stamp and die selection.
Danielle Sacripante: I definitely liked JOANN fabrics better than Michaels for beading but even better is HOBBY LOBBY!! Lots more tools, wiring, crafting to choose from.
Armando Baptiste: Really cool cut counter staff that I talked to; I think one's name was Mimi and the other was a middle aged black lady. They where straight up and got me what I needed to get. Great deals at this Joann too, was a good experience and will be back.
Tanya Harned: Not usually a quick errand due to the lack of cashiers.
Mary Safi: One of my favorite places
Nicole Richardson: Good
Stefanie Hansen: Great sales and helpful staff
Bret Jefferson: Great staff, stayed open late Xmas eve for my pickup... WOW
The Reluctant Artist: Even though the staff is short, they've always managed to attend to every customer. Amazing team.
Ann P.: Always find what I need here, staffs are friendly and helpful.
Dee Donihi: They had everything I needed and plenty of stock. Just really expensive
Rena Bragg: Very busy establishment. Difficult to find an employee with sewing machine knowledge to assist with purchase.
Pennie Locklear: Big selection, good sales, clerks are friendly. Cons are wait at cutting table and checkout. Though today was better than usual!

Needlepoint.Com Raleigh: what do users think?
Kat Moncol: Customer service at Needlepointdotcom is so on point! No matter if it’s on the phone or in person. I was in this past Saturday with my oldest daughter picking up some of my finished work and she was motivated to start her first canvas!!! Elizabeth and Kirke both made sure she had everything she needed to be a successful new stitcher with my help. Thank you for you encouragement and for always being so helpful with my own projects. Pictured are mine that I picked up.
Sherri Barham: Great showroom and selection. ❤️ The staff is excellent! Bridgette is a great class instructor that is knowledgeable, patient and thorough with instruction. Highly recommend classes and products.
Ruth Anderson: Great selection
Meredith Anderson Rooth: I absolutely love Needlepoint.com! I have had nothing but good customer service experiences. In particular, Kylie most recently helped me with an order of an out-of-stock canvas and was so kind and as prompt as possible in assisting me and playing the order. Thank you, Kyle and Needlepoint.com!!
Cathy Coons: The folks at Needlepoint.com were great. I don't agree that the pandemic caused the extensive delay. I believe the artist creating the canvas was at fault. The shop employees were very generous with assisting me.
Katherine Fitzgerald: I’ve been a customer for 20+ years and love their needlepoint. Always used to get finishing on time. Recently, the person in charge of finishing is abrupt and rude. When I called to get a status on my order, she hung up on me. Still have no status and won’t communicate with me despite phone calls, emails, messages and a hand written note. Very disappointed. Worst customer service.
mei niu: The store Manager Melissa is so warm, kind, and personal. Sometimes, we just like to go visit her and talk about needle point. We love her.
Peggy Overton Vaughan: Beautiful shop, and the best people to help you!
Valerie Reinhardt: Attentive assistance. Love this store.
Sarah Chittenden: This is by far the best needlepoint shop in the area and of the other ones that I have been too. The staff is very helpful and always willing to assist you in picking colors deciding about finishing sending-off finishings as well as showing you new items with new unique ways to finish those as well. They have a continuous new selection of canvases and they are always willing to order some as well. They are also the only place in the area where you can find a full selection of the Elizabeth Bradley tapestry kits. Highly recommend!
K F: They have quality threads and beautiful canvases. They know how to needlepoint and have excellent examples all around of their finished work with all different kinds of stitches to see. I always feel however, like I'm a street person walking into a rich jewelry store and am looked at accordingly. Yes, they are helpful... but many of the women are abrupt without the warm and fuzzies. I have been to other needlepoint stores where you feel like your grandmother is there walking you everything with the patience of someone with years of experience. You definitely do not get this impression here. If they can make it a little less formal, I would give it 4 stars.
Melissa Matton: Best needlepoint shop in the area.
Mukesh Jeswani: Very nice. I like it
Harriet Haselden: Very nice and helpful ladies.

Crafts Made by You: what do users think?
Sam Headen: OMG! I love this place. The owner is amazing and she gives you so much information. You can tell she loves to create and wants each project everyone does to be the best that it can be. If you need something, this is the place to go. I drive an hour to get here and it is worth every second of it.
Trey Sprye: I stopped in this shop while I was in Cary earlier today and the owner Elyse along with her staff-member Ellen were nothing short of fantastic! There are tons of very cool products(jewelry, candles, soaps, clothing, wellness products, kitchen goods, etc.) by local artisans which I personally love to give for gifts. Elyse was beyond hospitable and very informative of the fun, weekly crafting events. I look forward to coming back for more candles as well as for a mixology class soon!
A. Francis: I can't wait to come back for another visit!! Very cute and quaint. Her name eludes me but the lady present, I believe to be the owner, was super welcoming and nice. Totally looking forward to attending workshops here.
Katie Burke: I had a private Cricut session recently at Crafts Made by You. Elyse was a great instructor: super patient, very knowledgeable and willing to share tips and tricks to get me started. The store is stocked with plenty of supplies, materials in a variety of different colors in different sizes and items made locally. Will definitely be back!
Cheyenne Levinson: The cutest local craft store with a super knowledgeable owner! Great events and workshops too!
Caitlin Lopez: I recently attended an event at Crafts Made by You and it was nothing short of incredible. Crafts Made by You is the cutest most well run shop with something for everyone. Elyse the owner was so kind, helpful and had such great energy. I will certainly be coming back to do more classes and even shop (she has so many neat items made locally). I can't wait to visit Crafts Made by You more (especially the Wreath making class)! Thank you Elyse.
Leah Roussel: I had such a fun time last night at Crafts Made by You! I attended an earring making class and mine turned out precious! If you are looking for a fun night out you should definitely check out this cute business!
Kaylla Tuozzo: Stopped in today to grab a few things for crafts I was planning to attempt and Elyse was absolutely great! She helped me a lot! I will be going back to grab more goodies soon!Thank you!
Erica Calderon: Beautiful store and convenient parking in Downtown Cary. I've visited a few times now and love the options for gifts and upcoming workshops.

Michaels: what do users think?
Lee Johnson: Best Michaels to go to is POyner Pond Circle if youre in Raleigh, NC
Racquel Rowland: Self service counter, NO restroom lol, still Pandemic in this store
Michael Hunt: Helped a lot with my custom frame for a diploma
Alicia Lecceardone: Seed bank💚
Christine P: I needed several frames for pictures that were non-standard sizes and Michael's had a great selection.
Jo Hill: Love the coupons and great sales
J Larae Phelps: Friend shopping for child tee shirts
Dave Griffin: Was looking at blades for Criqcut All were opened/used. Employees were unhelpful and dismissive about the issue
Myra B.: Helpful staff! Love coming here!
Haya Rasheed: Very nice place , I love it
Zoe Miller: I go here on the daily at this point. It's so addicting to get new craft stuff!! They have everything you could ever imagine here!
Steven Fried: Çonvience in finding what i needed
Lacy 2 Nd Phone Nunez: Love this store!!
Shannon Myers: Many isles are incorrectly labeled, most visits I need to ask for assistance locating items the app says are in stick, and it is difficult to find an employee to assist with this. Position es are this store has a self check out that is fast and easy to use, including using coupons.
Vlad Gafurov: Super cheap, has self-checkout terminals. Got myself a cool frame there
Daniel Picarsic: My wife always finds what she wanted and more.
Frank Alvarez: Great store
Joshua M.: Good selection of paints, sadly their clearance stuff is pretty well gone. Which is good for them!
Kyle Fisher: Much newer location. The cosplay section is shrinking but I still love michaels
Lisa Vines: The store itself is great, but the new self checkout is terrible. I needed assistance with an item and was told they’d be right with me, but then I was subsequently ignored for the next 5-10 minutes. It was a relatively quiet afternoon. I had to cancel my transaction and go back through the store to find a replacement item and then get back into the line.
Shane Armstrong: Decent selection, pretty well stocked. Service is friendly as well. Had to shop here on Christmas Eve and it was pretty smooth.
