Susan: First of all I want to say that this is a wonderful family-owned business, and they are very helpful, polite and accommodating. But I got to witness first hand today some of the things that they put up with. While an employee was trying to explain to a woman that the buying hours were over for the day and they were swamped, the woman got nasty and complained that she had come last week and had wasted her time (all of their directions are on their website, social media, phone, and a board outside so really no excuse to why you can't understand). And the employee tried to explain that her mother had a stroke so they were short staffed and with the holiday they will be closed. And told her when they going to purchase items again. And that was not good enough for this customer and she said some rude things that were uncalled for, and was just down right mean. I feel for these employees and business owners having to navigate this new world full of meanness and lack of understanding.
Emily Crawford: Great store for finding cute, gently used baby and toddler clothes (I've never looked for bigger sizes and can't speak to children's). They also carry baby carriers. We've also found some toys that were practically brand new. I love browsing and the staff are very nice and helpful. They

drew: As a man shopping for my daughters, I don't always know what I am doing but everytime I come in here I always get help. They always let me pick things out to put on hold until my girls get out of school and can come try on. My taste doesn't always match my daughters but Children's Orchard has an easy return policy. I wish it was always this easy to shop for kids.
kricket hughes: I have been shopping with these ladies for years, and have always been able to find things I was looking for. They even have a wish list and will call me if the item I am looking for comes in or they have gone to their off site storage to pull additional items for me. While I understand they are not Walmart or Target and do not have 100% control what comes in, they have always gone above and beyond to help me. If you are looking for clean/quality clothing, and a store that makes you feel like part of the family, this is the only store for you.
Chrysoula Sanderford-Ttousios: I was expecting a lot more from the highest rated second hand baby store in the area. There was an extremely small collection of clothing and shoes for each age group; I went specifically in need of pajamas and there were literally none in my child's size or the next 2 sizes up. Many of the big ticket items, such as bassinets and strollers, were severely over priced - you will definitely find a better deal on Facebook Marketplace. Overall, it was a waste of time to come to this store and I will not be going back. I went to Once Upon a Child and their vast collection of everything put Children's Orchard to shame. Further, as a side note, Children's Orchard smelled absolutely horrible - there was some kind of overpowering vanilla scent filling the entire store. If your child has asthma, or you are pregnant, beware of the overwhelming, unappealing smell that could physically nauseate you.
Melanie Walker: I had a great experience shopping here! All employees were friendly, the store was extremely clean and organized. As for the clothing and items, they appeared to be clean, well kept, and a good variety of types. I will be back for sure!
Gena GiGi Trammell: I just dropped off a bag of grandkids clothes they can no longer wear. There are brand name clothes such as Polo, Carter's, Oshkosh and several more. The lady I spoke with was nice and I was supposed to go in today to see what they wanted and how much they were paying but due to health issues was unable to go today but I will get there Monday and will update my review then. 😁
E. Cameron Rowe: this place has an amazing selection of children's items. They are great to buy and sell with. Go check out it if you have little ones in your life - great place to buy gifts or items needed for babies and children.

Sara Heather: The people that run this store are absolutely wonderful. Extremely kind and helpful, however, the variety of clothing and shoes is lacking. I went to find some clothing for my girls and there was about a 4 ft rack of 3T only. I gave them 5 stars because of the cleanliness and organization of the place, and I realize the selection is somewhat out of their control, but it's very scarce.

Catisha Hamm Hicks: Overall, I enjoy most things here. However, I specifically asked if the oranges were seeded and I was assured that they were. They were not. When I got home I cut 2 of the 4 open and neither had any seeds. I was disappointed because before I went I called and was told over the phone they had seeded fruit. They may have some but the oranges were not.Update: since I posted this I was very recently able to get seeded oranges from here. They are juicy and delicious. Also, they have seeded Watermelon. They get gone quick so if you want one you better go get it.
Ashleigh Elizabeth: I really enjoyed Perkins Orchard!!! Fruit is so fresh and the Turkey bbq was amazing. First time visiting and learned the history of Perkins. I will be returning to get more fruit and veggies. Highly recommend, and it’s black owned which is a plus!

It really makes me happy to support local farmers and this is the perfect place to do it. My produce form the supermarket goes bad so quickly and never tastes as good as it could but Perkins is also top quality. I’ll never stop recommending this place. I can’t wait for summer when I get to try the popsicles!
Kylie English: This place is awesome. I’m so upset if didn’t know about this place earlier. I love shopping local and have been wanting to get my produce locally instead of from a grocery store. This place exceeded my expectations. I love the $25 fill up your own bag thing they do. The employee was very kind, everything was laid out extremely neat, the produce was beautiful, the little store was adorable, and I got a free pineapple! I love this place, and will absolutely be coming weekly.

R R: First time visiting over the weekend. The produce is super fresh. I can't wait to eat my pineapple. One thing that disappointed me (hence the 3 stars) is the fact that no one acknowledged me upon entering. I'm big on customer service. Usually this would stop me from patronizing an establishment, but I will be back because I enjoy supporting black owned.
Natassja Charles: We stumbled upon perkins & were happy we did. My only takeaway was our produce didn't last a day or two. My son was so happy to get his apples as I was about my ginger but they spoiled in a matter of a day or two. I think we would return again to see what all they have to offer. The $25 fill up bag is a great option.

Nicollette Adams: I LOVE Perkins! I just wish it was closer to me and I’d legit be there on a weekly basis. I just went yesterday and discovered they have coconuts now! I popped mine in the freezer for an hour then broke it open and wow is it amazing !!!! They taste so fresh. Regretting I didn’t get more at once. Will definitely be back soon :)
