Janet Szilagyi: We had a great experience with the staff at Cranial Technologies in Cary back in 2018 with our daughter. While we can see now that she is 6 that she still has a flat spot on the back of her head, we also can see the big different the helmet made on correcting some issues (like symmetry of the face, etc) and can recommend this location to other parents.

If you still plan to use Carnial than review their other location across USA. They have a good customer service at front desk but that's not we are paying more than $4000 for. This is the money making business and play with your emotion so can convinced yourself to do a right treatment for your child. From day one we have been complaining about the helmet is not right for my son. The helmet is larger than my sons head. It's completely not fitting. It's coming below his eyebrow. But, I guess this office is not doing much about it. And, every time they come up with different excuse. The local office, insurance dept in Tempe, AZ and I guess not visible Manager are throwing the ball on each other and no one there to resolve. " their standard answer is we dont know how this works and you have to talk to this person". If we are paying more than $4000 and if they are claiming that this is CUSTOMIZED HELMET than how come its not fitting right. They may be right that they are in this business for 35 yrs and treated thousand of baby. but, now they are lowering their standard and focus more on your and insurance money. I REGRET BY COMING HERE AND SURELY I WILL TELL MY PEDIATRICIAN TO GET SOME OTHER COMPANY FOR TREATMENT. I hope management should fix this instead posting their standard comment on this page.

Shalyse Clayton: We recently started going here because my son needed an infant helmet to help reshape his head. I love everything about it so far. We have had 3-4 visits. The girl at the front desk is SO nice and the other lady who we work during the appointments is super sweet too. I never have to wait more than 1-2 minutes when I arrive, even if I arrive early. We received our helmet. Hoping for a great outcome for our little guy. Very professional and clean place (which is important to me since I bring my kids there). Oh, and they have a play area indoors where other siblings can play while you do your visits. Very nice place!

Zuri Han: I have been here two visits, and I had to wait 39 & 23 minutes each visit past the appointment time to be seen by a provider. I finally received a call to pick up my Orthotics one month after my initial visit. Staffs are friendly, but the wait time is just way too long for both the appointment and the follow-up.

If you are an amputee or need braces for your legs this is the place to go, I have never been unhappy or disappointed when I left.

Jeffrey Elliott: Chandler Balkman was knowledgeable, helpful,, skilled, innovative and pleasant in fitting me with a scoliosis brace. Highly recommended.

Jackie Bruce: They fitted my daughter's back brace and when we went to her doctor a week later they took xrays and discovered the entire thing was made incorrectly and making her scoliosis curve worse instead of better. We will not be back.

Christy Haddix: Chandler has been so patient with me concerning the Arizona brace he provided me with recently. It has lessened the pain in the ankle joint but finding shoes to fit the brace is the next challenge I definitely would recommend Chandler Balkman, very informative and patient.

Buffy Leopard: I highly recommend Del Bianco in Apex. My son had orthotics at another local company and although they cost several thousand dollars they kept breaking. We waited three weeks for repair and were told they wouldn’t break if he didn’t walk on them, well that wasn’t the problem, he can’t walk. Needless to say after his corrective surgery we were recommended by our Duke orthopedist to go to Del Bianco. My son with a TBI was treated kindly and greeted as a distinct person by our Orthotist. He took his overall ability and needs into consideration when choosing his brace and footwear. Everything was perfect. His transfers are easier, we have no skin breakdown, and he loves what he is wearing. In fact he wants to wear his brace, which in and of itself is a small miracle. In addition to our superb orthotist, the support staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. I whole heartedly recommend Del Bianco in Apex.

petemo94: Del Bianco is a TOP-NOTCH practice that has addressed my numerous issues and allowed me to progress further than I ever thought. I've got a unique case and I can say with all honesty, they worked with me through every issue I've had. The thing that sets them apart from other practices is that they "WANT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM" as much as the patient. They are open minded for new ideas, are willing to try new techniques and are always keeping an eye on the state of the art equipment out there for the sole purpose of keeping their patients "in the know".I appreciate the fact that Jim or his staff always adopt the approach of "never give up" on solving a customers problem. They are all creative in problem solving techniques and won't stop until they solve it. Sad to hear of a patient of theirs had a bad experience, but this is not what I've EVER experienced in the past 4 years I've been with them. This team has been so patient with me to solve my problems.Keep doing what you are guys are doing and continuously evolve by utilizing state of the techniques and equipment. Best prosthetic practice around and Del Bianco comes highly recommended!

You might be able to help others, and maybe what happened to you won’t happen to someone else.”Just as previous reviews have stated, Jim and his staff are very nice and yes they are, until I kept coming back because my new AFO’s fromDel Bianco hurt my knees so bad, I couldn’t perform minor task like standing to wash dishes, brush my teeth, walking from front door to car, or push a shopping cart.When my grandma saw me walk in the AFO’sshe said “Even a horse couldn’t walk in those!”Jim one time told me “Not to come back until I bought better supportive shoes!” I put my hurt feelings aside, and went to the New Balance store as he instructed me to go to and I did purchase a costly pair of New Balance walking shoes.I went back, because the shoes were not the problem.I went back to Del Bianco prosthetics for my last time because Jim told me “Don’t come back until you can except, that you need to wear braces up to your hips!” Tears filled my eyes as my step mom and I walked out of the Del Bianco, Apex office.I had to surgeries, during the time I wore those braces which were confirmed later by a highly respected orthopedic in Cary and the medical resources that the AFO’s were the cause for my meniscus tears, IT Band surgeries in both knees plus other factors that the AFO’s caused.Please let me give you some advice...•Be your own advocate.•Ask questions.It’s your body, your life and your money.•Take your time, don’t let anyone or anyplace make you feel rushed with such important decisions* most important...Jim Bianco is not a Dr or a physical therapist.I’m currently in physical therapy learning to walk and stand again without AFO’s or any bracing.If I would have listen to Jim,I would be wearing AFO’s, knee braces and braces up to my hip!Again, I’m not writing this as a disgruntled customer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which caused the joints in my left foot and ankle to fuse in a painful position that causes tripping and makes walking difficult. Phil could see what the problem was with the old brace and created a new one that gives me the freedom to walk without pain. I'll be back!

Apryl Slade: We have been using Bio-Tech for 3 years now and would only recommend them. Staci has been great with my son and not only provides excellent service as an orthotist, but adds an extra “eye” to the process by also having a PT background. They come to you, no matter how far you live! They help and follow you through the whole process and I’ve never had any issue with insurance or things of that matter. They deliver their orthotics to you, help make sure they are custom fit and comfortable for your child, check in on you, and will come back just to check up if you just ask them to. I totally trust Bio-Tech and Staci and wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

She is very knowledgeable about how everything works and what the best option for each person. Biotech has always been so helpful in getting everything we need covered. Caroline Matovic: I brought a homeless man into the clinic to replace and have work done on his foot braces as he had amputated toes on both feet. The young man who worked with us treated him with the utmost dignity and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that his pain was greatly reduced when we left the clinic. I can’t thank him enough for seeing him through the eyes of Jesus…. a true act of kindness and great compassion for the needy.

Stuart Goodmyn: Initially service was going well and the staff were attentive. Along with my diabetic shoes I was also fitted with a brace to help me walk. I could not fit the brace in my shoes so my health insurance and doctors allowed me to get a second pair of shoes one size larger. To my surprise and to the surprise of my doctors and insurance company there are no reasonable explanations why Del Bianco would right out and refuse to provide me with these shoes I need? Initially they said they would but now say it's their policy?Update: I am very grateful that Mr. Del Branco read my review and promptly had his staff contact have me come back to his agency to get the shoes that would fit my brace. Leslie Fox: After seeing two podiatrists, one sports medicine physician, another orthotist, and being in and out of an aircast for most of 2016, I finally landed in Jim Del Bianco’s office at the end of 2016. He made me some new orthotics and I had a great deal of relief within a matter of days and am finally functioning normally, able to walk throughout my day, and working on increasing my distance back to my normal activity level. I appreciated the fact that he really listened to my concerns, gave some thought to my history and feedback from the physical therapist and made some adjustments, and was very thorough in his assessment. I also appreciated Heather’s wonderful communication about appointments, insurance coverage or lack thereof, and the complete financial disclosure before we got started. Wonderful practice.
