Jennifer Breece: I really don't know what's going on with this company. When it was based from Wilmington, NC, they did a great job at my parents' house. The salesman Andy gave me (a separate job from my parents' project) the time frame of "six weeks is ideal, eight weeks is average, ten weeks is the most amount of time"...I waited about eighteen weeks. When I tried to cancel after about fourteen weeks, they threatened litigation, because they don't put the time frame into the contract.My deck failed inspection, and today they (maybe) fixed the problems, but removed the permit box from my yard (that's how they communicate with the Inspector), and put the paperwork on me to deal with the inspector. One of the workers "used the bathroom" in my backyard, exposing his private parts. My doors were open for bathroom access. Thank God I didn't have small children. The worker that exposed his parts, Kevin, said that he had been "locked up" before. I don't care that the company put him on thirty days of probation. Why have they removed the permit box when inspection is pending, and left me with the paperwork? Their communication rarely makes sense, and I have a bad experience. I paid the company in full with a bank issued check when they told me that they were done, just to find out about more inspections and complications. When I ask Joe (I think he may be the owner, but not sure) about anything concerning my ordeal, he just says that his wife has cancer and he's trying. I can sympathize with that aspect, but maybe figure out a different way to conduct business.New review 4/5/22...I have contacted this company, have received no response, and I have mushrooms growing in the sunroom that this company made. My guess is a moisture problem. I still don't know if the room ever passed permit inspection, I'll be looking into that.Updated review 4/6/22...this company emailed me and did provide documentation of the inspection passing, I had never been furnished the documentation before. They then informed me that they consider my review defamation of character, but defamation requires malicious intent (according to the definition this company provided to me in the email), and I am truthfully reviewing my experience without malice. They suggested I have a landscaper address the possible moisture issue, didn't offer to evaluate the issue. The sunroom is raised feet from the ground and on a foundation so I don't think landscaping is the solution.

Lucy Metcalfe: We paid our 25% deposit last September. The porch was not started until March when we paid an additional 50%. Two stationary windows came in wrong and had to be reordered. The windows that were reordered came in but we’re broken. They were reordered again and were suppose to be here June 28. Since that time no one returns our calls or our emails. No one has let us know anything other than one call from the installer who knows nothing. They are terrible in communication and customer satisfaction. At this point we are so frustrated we just don’t know what to do.

Dani Tiltgen: It took over 4 months to finally get to installation. During this entire time, there was no communication. We had to continually follow up and would not get a concrete answer. The workmanship was very poor and while I questioned it, I overheard the employees swearing and being unprofessional towards me and we were close to having to kick them off our property. There seemed to be no concern from management regarding our experience and finally a week later, the manager came back to fix the issues. I would not use them. They do not put the customer first.

We needed some very minor repairs a couple of months later (caused by us) which were fixed in no time at all. We love the look. It's better than we had imagined. David Dirlam: We chose Porch Conversion of Raleigh (PCR) after 3 meetings and trips to Morrisville and Wilmington to see showrooms. Andy of PCR is a knowledgeable and patient sales person. The price was competitive with one other and literally half of the third company's even though that one would only wrap the old wood posts rather than replace them with stronger aluminum posts.Owner Joe from PCR came over with his crew, who all worked hard all day and passed Fuquay-Varina inspection with no problem. We greatly enjoy the protected access to nature the team created for us.

Kathrine Fisher: The product is very good! However, get your sales person to write a detailed project estimate of all of the work that will be done. We were told one thing about the installation at the time of the estimate, and then the sales person took a completely different position when we stopped the the crew and started questioning the installation.
