Almir Omerspahic: Had a wonderful perfumery experience, took a scent course with Carolyn and she provided the materials to assist with learning the fundamentals to perfumery and sent scents based on our preferences to create a bespoke scent. Carolyn even met us in person for the final class and through her tutelage we went from beginners to relatively competent in the basics. Carolyn tailors her classes to the levels of her student and she is a patient teacher and generous with sharing her knowledge and time. We highly recommend her and would take additional courses with her

Kelly Mangold: I went and created my own scent with Carolyn! I had a fabulous time and learned a lot. Carolyn knows her stuff and made it interesting to learn how this process works and how complicated it is. It was a blast to make my own fragrance and I intend to go back this summer and make another one. Highly recommend her for custom creations or making your own.
Erica Wagner: An incredible time! I've always felt overwhelmed by the perfume selection in stores and I don't really know what I'm looking for. I had seen somewhere that you could have custom perfume made and did a quick Google search- Carolyn was right here in my town! I scheduled a 1:1 Zoom chat to discuss the process and what I was looking for, and then immediately scheduled a workshop with my best friend. The Gather studio space is beautiful and welcoming (don't mind the nearby construction) and Carolyn took us through the process step by step. Her knowledge and expertise, along with high quality materials, provided us with an outstanding experience and beautiful final product. She also keeps the formula on file for reorder in the future. My best friend and I both said that we would love to do it again but the process was so straightforward that I think we'd still end up with a similar combination of scents! Carolyn also offers a more extensive perfuming experience that may have to go on my wishlist 😉 10/10. Highly recommend.

Solita A. Denard, MSW, IHC: My very own signature fragrance arrived and I was so excited to experience the final product. I grinned super wide as I unwrapped the packaging very slowly to see the perfume that I’ve named with its own formula number and everything!! Then, I attached the lovely bulb sprayer to enjoy my special scent everyday like the fancy ladies in the vintage movies. It is truly divine and I am amazed how Carolyn helped me craft a scent to include all of my base, heart and top notes virtually. Thank you so much for your artistry, suggestions and kindness. I learned so much during our session and I will never forget the experience!

Lynne Garguilo: We went to Esscentuelle for a Girl's Night recently, it was given to us as a Christmas gift by one of the girl's in the group (what a great idea for a gift!) There were 5 of us, and it was a fantastic experience! Carolyn expertly guided each of us, and it was so interesting to see the different scents each person came up with, suited to their personality. Personally, I had been interested in finding a Perfume/Scent I could call my "signature" for some time ... this was the perfect way to do it! I hate shopping at Sephora in person because they treat people like criminals-to-be. And it's not just this location either; maybe it's part of their training program. "Make sure customers always feel like they're unwelcome. Every customer is a potential thief!!!"It's a bummer having one so close to my home but hating going there so much that I'd rather wait for ground shipping than physically shop there.

Dominique McLamb: Clean store, great and friendly staff. Really easy to access if you want to avoid going to the mall to shop.
London Simone: First, I'd like to say that I had an awesome experience at this Bath & Body Works store. All of the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. I absolutely love coming to this store.. one of the employees actually stopped what she was doing to help me find a fragrance I was looking for, which was "Open Sky." I was a little disappointed when the staff informed me that the store no longer had "Open Sky" any longer. When the salesperson found me a scent that had a lot of resemblance to the spray I was originally looking for, she absolutely changed my upside down frown into a big smile. the bath & body works spray she got for me actually had an excellent gorgeous sent to it. I totally loved it, and I was very delighted and satisfied with the body spray she picked out for me. I will undoubtedly return to this Bath & Body Works location.

Daizsa Nohemi: I have never experienced such a classless, unprofessional, and all around rude retail associate like I did when I encountered Olivia, one of the store managers here. She single handedly created the worst customer experience ever. I had an issue with my online order and needed to verify my order was ready for pickup. Instead of helping, Olivia insisted that I made a mistake and never placed an order at “her store” and that I should place a new order if I want assistance. Clearly that doesn’t work for me since I have my credit card statement showing I was clearly charged for an order. After minutes of being told I never even placed an order, she finally asked for some identifying information to attempt to look up the order and what do you know, she was able to find it. So at this point I was extremely upset and in the middle of asking a question she rudely interrupted me. I asked her to please not interrupt me and to let me finish talking and her response was “well I’m answering your question and you interrupted me a few minutes ago, but we won’t go there”. Excuse me? That’s when I hung up the phone and went to the location directly to get help. When I asked Olivia who her manager was all she said was “I’m the manager and you can speak to me”. When asked why she’s being so rude and if someone would even apologize for the inconvenience I had she literally laughed in my face and said “Is there anything else you need?” Ummm yes, an associate with some customer service skills would be preferred. I’m sure no one will even read this and more customers will have to encounter the extremely rude manager named Olivia.

Tiffany Terhart: the wonderful humans at the store all need raises. I come out of my way to this location because the workers are way more genuine and kind than the ones at the location enar me in Raleigh.Each time I've been in this store there's been at least 1 rude, entitled, a-hole of a customer trying to make their day hell and from what I've seen they've always handed it professionally and with grace. Even today, as a man and his child are openly spewing rudeness at the workers behind the register because of a mistake HE made on HIS online order and tried to make his incompetentcy their problem, they kept it together way more than I ever could have.whoever their manager is, needs to realize they have a good batch and they need to be treated as such.

They are offensive and semi aggressive trying to investigate where the exchange products come from instead of just doing what they're supposed to do. They definitely need to be retrained when it comes to exchanges.

Eric Diefel: La Parfumerie is a great business. They really care about their clients. I ordered a bottle of Sospiro Vibrato. It showed up and the bottle was damaged. I could tell it was a factory error from Sospiro. Not the fault of La Parfumerie! I contacted them and Viktoriya was on it! I had problems with my email. Viktoriya called me directly. She rushed me a new bottle immediately . I received it quickly and just love the juice. Couldn't be happier with the customer service

It was my first time ever meeting her but Viktoriya is poised, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about the artistry that goes into not only crafting a scent, but wearing it. I had my 4 year old with me running around the store and she was as cool as a cucumber and even gave her a sample perfume which made her day. kelly Wiblitzhouser: a gem for seasoned niche perfume lovers AND beginners. Don’t be intimidated if you don’t feel fancy enough to go in. Cole was so welcoming, he really took the time to get to know my taste, and recommend things outside of my comfort zone which I appreciate. Definitely ask for him when you go. They don’t pressure you to buy anything just to make a sale, they truly want you to be happy with what you purchase, and they are happy to make you a small sample to take home to make sure you really love something before buying. Viktoriya was so friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the products as well as the brands, and just super passionate about fragrances! She is such an amazing person, pleasant, friendly always smiling and super helpful in the process of picking the best scent for you. I absolutely always loved my fragrances, but since I have gone to her shop I will never buy a fragrance from a department store again. Everywhere I go I get stopped and asked what fragrance do I have on and how wonderful it smells. I have quite a few different ones now, but my favorite of the ones so far that I have is Black Citrus abd Cognac & Plum. If your in Crabtree Mall it is a must visit. 😊👏🏻 The best of the best!

I was in awe when I learned this store was in Raleigh, NC, only a little over an hour's drive from me. I was very impressed with the variety of products that I had never heard of or seen anywhere else. Everything in there smells absolutely amazing! The experience is nothing you will get at a department store, or your local Sephora.Whether you’re looking for a spring, fall, or summer scent or just something for a special occasion, La Parfumerie has it all! Let’s just say I stumbled upon the boutique about 3 months ago, and have since bought 10 different fragrances! Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the wealth of knowledge you will acquire is top notch. They also do private and special events with each of the creative directors or noses👃 (as they say in the industry) of the various houses, really adding to the already incredible experience and journey. It creates an amazing atmosphere of romance and serenity. It is not overpowered yet well concentrated. Great quality of a natural aroma! I love the Reed Diffuser as well! It is both stylish and convenient for I can simply control the intensity by the amount of reeds.Altogether great experience! Thank you!!

Sales rep over there are highly professional and have deep knowledge about perfumes & colognes and their notes etc. They let you try everything you asked for. Moreover they carry imported perfumes and colognes from Dubai(UAE), which are the best in quality, projection and long lasting. Filthy Rich is the best cologne I ever smell and definitely they got superb deals on everything. Best place to get some quality scents in best price.
