From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and tranquility of this enchanting place. They greeted me with warm smiles and were more than happy to share their expertise about the farm's operations, crops, and sustainable practices. Their passion for organic farming was evident in every conversation we had, and their dedication to providing fresh, locally sourced produce was truly inspiring.Speaking of produce, the farm's selection of fruits and vegetables is unparalleled. Anusha: Had a very good time, wonderful place to visit with kids
Beatrice Paneto: Always a good time
David Sawin: Great Farmers Market, good vendors, fun rides, good music
Chivukula Subrahmanyam: Cool place to hangout
Bryce Burkhart: Really nice. You don't want to miss their next open house. Truly a Treasure of the Triangle.
David Hitchens: My 5 year was excited to go to be able to pick strawberries. We got there only to find you couldn't. Bought a bucket of strawberries and left. The strawberries are/were very tasty. Much better than store bought strawberries.
D C: Made a comment about the signs could be better about not parking at the church and the OWNER pretty much insinuated I couldn’t read. The condescending tone and attitude was completely uncalled for. Take your business elsewhere - they obviously don’t want it!
Elizabeth Traner: Came out for their Strawberry festival and had a wonderful time. We will be on the lookout for future events.
Toya Kits: Extremely rude staff. Most of the good reviews here are written by friends or employees of the owner.
Vilma Gonzalez: Excelente
Alina Zhigunova: We are so disappointed! The whole farm is closed for renovation until September. I cannot believe they don’t even mention it on their website or FB-page. Only small spot (play zone) open for visitors, and there’s nothing special about it, but you have to pay $10 for each person 3 and older to get in! Well they have cow rides and tractor rides, but it’s not worth 30 mins drive for us. Awful experience :(
Vi “V” H.: was listed as ‘a grand reopening’ and yet over half of it was closed? had a sign that says its closed till september despite the website not saying anything of the sorts.
Brenda S: Went there for the NC Eat and Play Spring Hootenanny. Such a great venue. Would definitely come back!
Tony G: Amazing

Buckwheat Farm: what do users think?
Jeff Gerboth: Great place to pick your own strawberries during April and May.
P Fan: Amazing staff, beautiful and serene property. Of course delicious, great quality berries, and homemade ice cream.Bonus: best BBQ on weekends... cooked fresh on-site with homemade rub & sauces! ;)
Mark Steele: Incredible strawberries right now!
Thomas Pina: It was our first time picking our own strawberries, and we had about the best experience possible at Buckwheat Farm. The stuff we picked was miles above store-bought quality. They don't use any pesticides or herbicides (which is why there's grass in some of the walkways as pictured). We picked enough stuff to make bars, leathers, to eat straight up, and to freeze for later - smoothies or whatever. They also had barbecue on site, which was top-quality - the sauces are homemade and incredible. Some of the family make ice cream also, which was available for sale... Sweet potato ice cream? Jalapeño ice cream? Sounds weird, right? Flippin' delicious!Staff were friendly and approachable too. I don't leave reviews often, but this place deserves the recognition.
Scott Agostinelli: Excellent atmosphere, good S-berries too!
Coach Grace: This was my first time doing a strawberry-picking adventure. It is so much fun. The reward was my own bucket of harvested strawberries and some ice cream. 🤣
Meenakshi Vanapalli: A fun family experience! There is no entry fee. There were containers for purchase. All flavors of their ice creams are really tasty and affordable.
Steven Knott: Super fun and great ice-cream
Christian Salvador: 👍
Oretha “Rita” O.: This was a nice outing for me and my sons. Our first strawberry picking ever and wow! Just look at how pretty these strawberries are and they're yummilicious too! We look forward to next season! Look at the tasty treats I baked using the freshly picked strawberries.
Svit Lana: Strawberries are red but sour (( not sweet at all
Shao: Strawberry 🍓 picking +Ice cream?! Love it!!
Nagaraj Sollapur: Fun place for kids. Be early to find good strawberries for picking.
Thomas Stout: Great strawberry patch, BIG STRAWBERRIES and easy picking and they taste great!
Skip Bishop: Great strawberries at reasonable price. Friendly people.
Vivian Blanco: This is a great place to pick strawberries. They are super big, super juicy and super delicious. On top of that you can have an amazing BBQ pull pork attended by a nice and generous family. We will definitely be coming back for the next season.
Dan Thompson: BEST STRAWBERRY PICKING IN THE GREATER RALEIGH AREA!!! 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 We’ve been to Hunts, Popes, and others, which are ALL great as well! These berries were HUGE! And tasted AMAZING!!! $17/bucket. There were SO many berries on the plants, we had two buckets completely filled in under ten minutes! We only covered maybe thirty feet of one of their rows. 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
BeanyBoi: juciest strawberries i have ever seen. almost ascended after laying a spoonful of ice cream on my tongue.
Cole Bouquin: When open in the summer months this is a great place to take kids berry picking! Super enjoyable!
Ricky Brown: This place is cool! The customer service is very rude though! We will stick DJ’ berry patch. We thought we would go her because they opened earlier than Dj’s On Sundays. Huge mistake. Also DJ’s has way more strawberries. Buck wheat was low on strawberries.
Mike Kanakos: A fun place to pick strawberries. The farm has a good setup for people to participate without being on top of each other.Prices are not over the top expensive either. Whole family enjoyed the experience and it was fun the kids and grandparents to be actively involved in the same task.
