Lorena Ludeman: My beginning group Pilates classes with Kellie are the absolute best exercises classes I have ever taken. Pilates is the perfect exercise to help come out of the COVID coma and Blue Sky Pilates has all top of line equipment. Kellie is the best teacher for beginners like me. My private class with Carol was also excellent! The people in the group classes are great! It is a great workout and fun as well!

Pamela May: I started with Kellie about 3 years ago. I had had 2 back surgery's and just gotten over a flare. I had been told time and time again from doctors and physical therapists, that strengthening my core was key. I drove by her studio everyday and finally decided to give her a call. Exercise has never been my favorite thing. I don't get those happy, excitement endorphin's, and I don't sleep better at night, so finding something that I enjoy, an instructor that motivates me and something that I can see my money working for me is very important. I have tried personal trainers over the years and have never lasted with one longer than a year, but I have been with Kellie for 3 now and will keep her as long as she will have me!I definitely wish I could afford to go more than 1 time a week, but I did get a gym membership locally and get in cardio work or other class work 2-3 times a week, but none of them give the core direction like her class. I say this because before seeing Kellie my back would flare up 4+ times a year and 1-2 of those I could be flat on my back for 3-5 days. During the time I have spent with Kellie, I have really only had 1-2 flare-ups a year and none of them have had me flat on my back. I don't know that I will ever be a fully advanced student in her class but every time I go, there is something that I pat myself on my back for accomplishing; that I couldn't do a year, a month or a week before. I am also more aware of my body and what feels right and wrong and for that I am truly thankful!

AS B: I have been looking for a Pilates studio near me here in Cary - I am totally new to Pilates. After checking out a few websites, I decided to try Blue Sky Pilates - there was a nice intro special so that drew me in, along with the easy online scheduling. Kellie is very patient and encouraging. She adjusted the exercises based on my abilities, and always checked to ensure I was doing ok. She encouraged me to keep going, and I was always comfortable. The day after my first visit, she sent an email asking me how I was doing - not that is customer service!!I've gone twice now and when I leave, I feel elated, taller, and my body feels more relaxed (yes, it's a workout when you're doing it - but it's a great feeling after).The studio is cozy and inviting as well, with bottled water in a fridge, cubbies for your stuff, its own restroom, and a nice place to sit. Compared to what I saw at other studios, I think the prices are fair and reasonable as well.
Pam Keenan: For several years now as I have been approaching middle age, with the typical increase in general “aches and pains,” I have been telling myself that I really should take a Pilates class to limber up and stay mobile. However, it wasn’t until I fell off a ladder and hurt my back that I got serious about it and signed up for the Beginner class at Blue Sky Pilates. As a total novice to any type of regular exercise routine, I wasn’t sure what to expect -- but after 2 months of a weekly workout, I can say that I LOVE my Pilates class. Blue Sky Pilates is a friendly, non-intimidating place to get started on stretching and strengthening your whole body, and perhaps discovering muscle groups you don’t even know you have ! Groups are small (maximum 5 students) and classes at various levels are conveniently scheduled throughout the week. Kelli is obviously an expert in the field and manages to pay individualized attention to the physical strengths and/or weaknesses of each member of the class, all while keeping us moving together as a group. She also does a great job of mixing up the sessions so that each week is not simply a repetition of the previous week’s class. I usually can’t believe it’s been at it a whole hour when she says “and we’re done for today!” Knowing that many of her students have busy schedules that don’t permit more than once a week classes, Kelli also is very helpful in “prescribing” at-home exercises and stretches that keep her students moving in-between their class times. In just the short time that I have been working with Kelli, I catch myself thinking about how I’m standing/sitting/walking throughout each day, with a significant improvement in how I generally feel, even on days when I spend a lot of time at my desk. Blue Sky Pilates is definitely a treasure among the various mass-marketed exercise studios in the area. Check it out !

Nicole Phillips: Going to Ab-solute Pilates has changed my life! Having a spinal fusion in my lower back in 2014 has meant I have had to work hard to regain my strength and flexibility. Moving to the USA in 2019 meant I had to start all over again with my care providers which is pretty daunting. Finding Sheri and Ab-solute Pilates has been a huge turning point for me. Sheri is a fabulous instructor who works hard to customise all her workouts to suit the individual needs of her clients. Working with Sheri has resulted in me regaining more strength than I have had for years and I now enjoy more activities with my boys, work harder in my beautiful garden and generally enjoy a pain free existance knowing my back is not going to go any moment. When I do have the occassional issue with my back, going to Sheri for a Pilates session is the best remedy I know.

In fact, she is who I credit as the reason I fell in love with pilates!I was a young professional when I started to take sessions with her, doing duets at first, then privates and the occasional group class. After a month, I was addicted.I was also spending more than I planned because as we know pilates is not the cheapest form of fitness. That said, the results I got more than justified the cost. Luiza applies an athletic approach to Pilates that makes each of my sessions with her very effective. Pilates En Pointe: what do users think?
Melinda Templeton-Duffy: Pilates en Pointe is a special place. I have practiced Pilates for nearly eight years and this is by far my favorite studio. I've lived in NYC and LA and practiced in both but really started to learn the correct way to protect my body with Kara and her team.The studio is light and bright and Kara (as a professional dancer) has a body awareness that sets her apart from other teachers. Kara's team is excellent and I recommend them all highly.
Gary Krajewski: Due to numerous procedures, and polio I have balance, stability and strength issues. I have looked for something that would help with these issues and falls would be problematic. My right foot drops and I am prone to tripping on uneven and even surfaces. Close to where I live is a great Pilates studio that is managed by Kara and her highly trained staff. I have been doing this once a week for about a year and the results have been great. Even my Parkinson’s and Orthopedic Doctors have seen improvement.The Studio has designed a program geared towards me. Everything I do is geared to stability, balance and strength. Over time, I have gotten stronger and have a greater range of motion, stability and balance. I continue my strength and balance exercises between appointments. If you are looking for a great workout, then try Pilates. It will increase your range of motion, flexibility and strength. This sounds like a formula for success.
Sheri Allen: I am so happy I finally took the plunge and started my PIlates practice and couldn't be happier to have found PIlates en Pointe. The instructors are expertly trained and can provide detailed guidance on form and alignment as class size is 5 or fewer. In the past, my workouts were intense and strenuous and pain was a regular side effect. At PIlates en Pointe my workouts are dynamic and injury free. Instead of pain I feel relaxed and much stronger. In addition, the studio is beautifully set up and spotlessly clean. Thank you, Kara, for making this such an enjoyable part of my day.

I do the private sessions only because I found those more targeted and also works out with my schedule more. The studio is always kept nice and clean, the equipment is well maintained and looks new, the workout series are very nice and different each time. Sharon Braswell: Kara and Michelle are wonderful pilates instructors and the studio is very large. They are careful to limit the # of participants in class to ensure social distancing at all time. The classes are always excellent and changing so you never get bored.

Dena Konkel: I am relatively new to Pilates, but have really enjoyed it so far, and I credit that to working with Kara at Pilates En Pointe. Kara is a great Pilates instructor who makes you feel comfortable, confident, and challenged. The studio is peaceful and the workouts have been amazing. I actually look forward to working out, which is something I never felt going to a standard gym or class. I look forward to continuing to take classes with Kara at her studio.

Linda Charlesworth: The Contrology Garage is the #1 place for Pilates. The instructors are very experienced, professional and helpful. They offer a variety of group classes and private sessions too. Stacie my private instructor tailors each session to my specific needs, which helps me with my physical challenges due to Parkinson’s disease. Since working with Stacie I have improved core strength, balance and overall flexibility. I’m very thankful for Stacie and her expertise!

Spoke with Jamie about what I was looking for in order to get back into a workout routine that was a little less jarring than high intensity cardio on my body. Jamie truly listened as I told her about some of my other issues going on. Her professionalism and kindness goes right along with her vast knowledge of making sure you have correct form on any of the apparatuses. Plus, she really makes it fun!
