It was a one-stop-shop for all of our needs, and I highly recommend it for pet owners of any kind. The staff was exceptionally courteous and amiable, and both they and the customers observed social distancing rules, ensuring the store's cleanliness and the safety of everyone inside. Moreover, I love the store's food quality, always kept in stock and appropriately displayed in a clean and well-lit environment. Overall, Petco is my go-to store for my pet shopping needs.

Hannah Overfelt: As a budding aquarium enthusiast I really like this store. Most people wouldn't really think that a general pet store would take the cake in many ways against some aquatic stores but this one does.Recently I have been dropping in about once every 3-4 weeks to pick up a few things and bombard them with my aquarium questions. I really appreciate how they always take time to listen to my questions, make recommendations or let me know if they are unsure instead of guessing about things as you so often find in other stores.While I am getting the hang of keeping my fish tank hobby they have been really patient with me when one of my fish died(my fault) and got me a new one and helped me work out what went wrong. The next couple fish I have bought from here are doing well and all the live plants I have gotten from them are also thriving and look gorgeous!They have also mentioned that they can order certain fish that I might want that they don't normally carry if their supplier has them. This is really cool because most places just have a set type of common fish and it can be a struggle to find something that makes your set up unique.If you are an aquarium hobbyist I highly recommend you stop in here and poke around. They have a nice assortment of fish with hidden gems that you wouldn't see in the other box stores. Finally, over all, I haven't noticed much illness or disease among their fish as well. Just a few nipped fins here and there. I look really closely because most other places have ich like crazy and no one wants that.

That contrasts with the fact that every customer I saw was wearing one.It's disgusting that this store, it's management and its policies place zero regard for the health and safety of our community. The Town of Cary has quite a few options for pet stores. Simply put, we will NOT return to a store that is this irresponsible and this inconsiderate.

Kaleb Wright: I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but of all the petco stores I’ve been to this one was by far the worst. The entire time I was there no one wanted to help or even look at us. And when I got to checkout the girl behind the register obviously hated her job, she was so rude for no reason. I work in customer service I get that sometimes you’re just over it but this was ridiculous. She rolled her eyes at me multiple times and wouldn’t keep her eyes out of her phone, said everything with an attitude. Even tho it’s out of my way I’ll be going to the Durham location I’ve never had issues like this anywhere else.

Suhas Patel: Made a grooming appointment for my dog a few days ago at the Petco in Parkside. I've been here several times before but they must have had staffing issues because the grooming service was shut down temporarily. The old staff was great. I called and made an appointment with someone after not being able to do so online due to issues with their website. The woman asked me to bring proof of the rabies vaccine since I had not been there in a while, and that's it.I get to the appointment and they ask if my dog is on any meds. My dog is 14 yo and is on an anti-inflammatory med, so I said yes. They proceeded to tell me that they cannot provide service to my dog because she had a dose of medication today. I said no one told me that at the time I made the appointment. Apparently if I had not given the dose today but gave it to her every other day this week, then they would provide service. There is no indication of this policy written anywhere. I asked to see the policy and they couldn't produce it. The employee, Ann, said it's an internal policy, and that even she doesn't agree with it. The store manager, Dustin, was called and he didn't seem to know about this policy until Ann mentioned it. If it's internal and not posted and not communicated, how is the customer supposed to know about it?I will NEVER use Petco again. Very poor customer service.

Jessica Price: We adopted a super sweet 3yo American Staffie mix from the local animal shelter about a month ago. She was listed as a stray and initially exhibited a few behaviors that their staff took the time to help with. Their advice was much appreciated! She also just had her 1st grooming apt with Haleigh. We weren't sure if she's had a grooming apt before but Haleigh was AMAZING with her! When we picked her up she was happy, her coat was super shiny, and the Paw Report was SO cute! Definitely recommend 👌

I want the bath money back because I'm dissatisfied with the service!

I cannot begin to say enough good things about the managers that helped with my dog during a week-long stay: Sarah, Jessica, Haley, and a male manager whose name I didn't get. They took such good care of my dog when an emergency situation came up and got in touch with me after they had my dog in the right hands. They were so great about caring for her that I knew she was in good hands until we could come home (earlier than planned) to pick her up. You can tell they truly care about the pets entrusted to them, as well as the owners. They made sure I was informed and that I also felt taken care of. I've been taking my dog there for years, but after this past experience, I am definitely a customer for life. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my girl.

Debbie Craig: One day I was out looking for a Koi to add to my pond and found East Coast Koi Imports. They have an amazing selection of Koi and even if you don't want to by a fish this is a pretty cool place to walk through.
Elizabeth Bonnet: We visit East Coast Koi Imports and bought two Koi for our pond. Bobby was great to work with. We had a hard time finding a place that sold Koi since we did not want to have them shipped both because of the expense of shipping and because we want to be sure to get the ones that we wanted for color, health and size. We plan to go back to buy more fish in August! Bobby's place has lots of choose from and we will tell our fellow pond owners that this is the place to go if you want to buy Koi.
