Ryan Gengenbach: Cary Quilting Company is extremely difficult to do business with. It started back in March if this year when my mom and dad were on vacation and saw this quilt shop. They asked me to check out their website because I live in Florida. I saw a few patterns I loved. They went and looked at the store and all of the patterns were in stock except one. Per their website, I choose everything that was in stock. No worries, my mom was able to order and have the pattern shipped to me. Well, they claimed the pattern was so old and could not be ordered( my mom found it online with no issues). They called and let her know as she was at work one day. Cary quilt company never refunded my mom for the purchase. I took a vacation up to visit my mom in April of 2023. My mom took me to Cary quilt company. Nice store, but some of the employees were not so friendly. Either way, I had purchased $120.00 worth of products and my mom purchased another $202.00 that day. Together we spent over $320.00 in store. My mom pre-ordered the row by row experience for me on her bill. Verified that shipping was taken care of so that when June 1, 2023 came- the order would ship down to me in FL. Today is the 9th of June and still no package. I called to follow up and get a tracking number. The kind lady on the phone said it had shipped on the first. But she was unable to share any tracking information. After looking a bit more she stated that there was no shipping address and that it was in store to be picked up. Well, I am not able to go back to that location and advised that the item was to be shipped and on my receipt from that day it shows free shipping. The lady apologized but stated they needed to collect $8.05 for shipping. At this point I am beyond frustrated because on April 24,2023 I was in the store dealing with the last order(never getting refunded) and I ensured they had my address and everything is paid in full prior to us leaving. We were assured that it was just going to ship to me. I feel as if the company does not care about their customers. I feel they steal and lie about what will happen with orders. I do not recommend doing business with them as it is rather difficult, you are lied to, and over charged for items. This has been my experience and I cannot say the same for everyone. I will not go back to this store, I will never suggest anyone give them their hard earned money, I will tell all of my quilting friends to avoid this store. It has been nothing but problems and overall just a horrible experience. I expressed this to the lady in the phone and not once did they even offer to cover the shipping. I have proof of the receipt that says free shipping and I still had to pay. I work hard for my money just as much as anyone else and after being told it was all taken care of to now have to pay for shipping is just bad business. Be aware if you decide to shop here. This is all based on my experience and no one else’s. Cary Quilt Company got their last penny from me as I will NEVER do business with them ever again.

Claudia Klavon: This was my first visit to this great shop. I needed backing for a quilt and showed up 10 mins before they closed. Immediately the staff began to pull fabrics for me. I thought I wanted a blue, yellow or tan, but they suggested the perfect green! I will be back!

Nancy Caggia: The t-shirt class was taught by Emma and thoroughly enjoyed the process and result. It was my first time making anything with T-shirts, and now I feel ready to tackle a big quilt out of all the t-shirts in our attic. The store personnel were so helpful picking out fabrics. It is so convenient having the shop there for when you forget or need more of something! I made a wine bag from a child's size t-shirt, and Emma was so patient and helpful adapting the pattern.

Katie Mathews: I didn't shop here, but rented their event space to host a club event. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly despite it being on a busy Saturday. The space was large and the tables and chairs were easy to arrange to fit our needs. At 30$ an hour, the pricing was quite fair as well. I highly reccomend this space to anyone needing a large space to host a group of people, it was very cute and accomadating! :)

Fast? My orders arrive super fast and well packaged protecting the contents from the elements of inclement weather. Julianne, Shop Owner, is committed to sharing her Monday through Friday noon three minute videos of the most recent fabric collections from well known artists and high quality textile companies. The BH&G magazine company debuted CQC!!! The article is genuine and highlights CQC as a "happy place". I couldn't agree more! Whether you visit in person or virtual, you are sure to find Cary Quilting Company to be a "happy place"!
