Wake Stone Corporation: what do users think?
Cicada Appreciation Society: Greedy corporation hellbent on destroying forested land adjacent to Umstead State Park. I hope they go bankrupt soon.
Katie Kilgore: Needed gravel and misc. rocks for our yard VERY last minute and Jakob in the front office was SO accommodating and helpful with helping us select what we needed and providing same day delivery! So so grateful and definitely will use them again!
Charles Thomas: Love this quarry, and love the location. Good friendly people and convenient in and out. Well done Wake Stone.
David Bass: Wake stone corporation came to my house and stole my baby to use for their slave labor. Not very cool.
Nick Mullin: Trash management/owners, seeking to give themselves even more money (that they don't need or deserve) by destroying nature. Truly despicable creatures.
Matthew Vazquez: They care nothing about the community and how their actions will impact the area for 100's of years. They completely disregard any thought for anybody else except for the all mighty $$$$$.
Rich Tarquini: A private company destroying land paid for with tax dollars. I can I lease a car and sell the parts and return the frame in 40 years. This is such a short-sighted revenue stream for RDU. No concern for the community and loss of green space associated with an Odd Fellows Quarry. Not a very good corporate citizen.
James Rhew: I'm disappointed in Wake Stone's community relations during their bid to expand into the Odd Fellows tract adjacent to Umstead Park. Surely there's a better way to collaborate to find a stone source with less impact.
Suzela M.: They want to build a huge quarry on beautiful forested land adjacent to Umstead Park. What a terrible location!l
Phil Faucette: Quoted me $450 for my order. Charged me over $600! They admitted it was their mistake, so they gave me a $40 credit. WHAT?
Zelda: Great Quarry. I love Wake Stone and their employees. They are some of the friendliest people.
Joe Schroedl: Stop RDU quarry!
Anthony Norman: Wake Stone is so concerned about profit they are willing to ruin parts of our city to do it.
Tim C: They fulfilled my orders of stone even though sometimes an incredibly low dollar amount ($10)
Michael Jordan: Great customer service and pricing.. only place to go.

Wake Stone Corporation: what do users think?
Dave Arnold: Excellent quality stone in a vast variety of sizes shapes and colors.Obviously check ahead on their availability for weekends it clearly states we are open Monday through Friday additionally sometimes we're open weekends so if you're writing bad reviews saying they're not open on weekends check ahead of time.
Star: I love Wake Stone Quarry. I was sad to hear today, they no longer allow us to load rocks by hand for small gardens. 💜🌱🌻🌼
John Chalfant: Very happy with Wake Stone. They might not like me and my pickup truck very much, but I’m treated like I’m buying 100 truckloads from them. Thanks!
Suzela M.: They want to build a huge quarry on heavily forested land ADJACENT TO UMSTEAD PARK! What a terrible location for a QUARRY!
Michael Groman: This place is awesome. I went there to see how much a truckload of gravel #4 would cost. For 3/4 of a ton it was 27 dollars. For 50 lbs from home depot or lowes I would have spent $100 dollars. They used a big tractor to load the bed (took a minute) and did a fantastic job on explaining the process, what type of stone I should use and helped answer my newbie questions. Great prices and phenomenal staff. Thanks fellas.
Martin Brossman: Outstanding service at a fair price and one of the few places that will allow individuals to bring the truck in and get stone. Local family owned and operated business.
Ms. Harley: Every time I have been here, I got prompt service from the loader. The weight master has always been polite and prompt. If there is something you dont understand or know where it is located, you get explainations or directions WITH A SMILE. That is super important to me! Except one guy, he would take forever, but I haven't seen him since and hope not to! Time is money, and if my truck isn't loaded and rolling I'm not making money. They got it so your in and out.
emcreech100: Very professional and run with emphasis on safety. I have bought (5) 1-1/2-ton pickup loads there in past 2 years. They have many different grades for different purposes. Prices are always lower than I expected to pay. I get the same courteous service as the 75-ton trucks get, except there's a minimum of 1/2 ton, I think -- call first.Like most businesses that primarily deal with other businesses, I wouldn't expect them to be open beyond Mon-Fri. Don't know the deal with that other reviewer, but if making a big effort to buy rock, I'd have called ahead to confirm the ad I'd seen was correct
Jason Sidcraft: They were not open Saturday 7-12 as advertised

Aravind Jayalakshmi Stalin Babu: It is one of worst experience interviewing with this company, for Procurement co-op position. The HR called me and told me I will have an interview coming week. When asked the date and timing of the interview, next week, he is not replying at all. Tried following up further but no response.
Andrik Tolentino-Perez: Loader having an attitude
Michael Humphries: Great quarry for job site materials! Only negative thing is the sloppy path!
Jofmar Landscaping: I’m a landscape contractor always buy a gravel and abc stone so I look on google for a quarry close to me and I find this place I call for rip rap and the Lady on phone was So nice! So I decide to go with this place When I arrive to the office the lady was so nice and I told her that was my first timeAnd she told me how to drive back to the gravel So when I was driving looking for the stone A guy with orange T-shirtWho drive one of those big tractors He start telling me bad words because I was driving around looking for the stone! Then I decided to go with another place where I always buy my stone!Maybe next time I have better experience in this place
Kai Nehrenz: Not a busy place. Good loader.

Steve Karnes: Excellent customer service ! Great people to work with, highly recommend this location.
Peter Gonzalez: Poor low percentage of stone on 3 loads I purchased thru Tim Wood from this quarry. The crush and run is just a mud pile on my driveway a waste of $900...Just eat it right?Peter Gonzalez, Holly Springs
