Cary Rheumatology & Arthritis Associates: what do users think?
Ellen Weaver: I have been a patient over 10 years. Ongoing exceptional care. Very professional and caring Dr and staff.
Zaria Reep: He's been very helpful in managing my condition and makes sure that everything is going well. Highly recommended.
Josie Guin: I feel welcome, I feel like I’m part of a team for my health, I feel heard, and I feel safe. There’s nothing more that I could ask for on this journey. ❤️
AB: Dr. Chaudhary was very warm and welcoming, and spent an hour with me at my first appointment-- this is almost unheard of at other offices!! He really listens to your concerns and explains his reasoning for everything very thoroughly. It is difficult to get into rheumatology practices around here, and I am so grateful that I was able to see him!
Samantha Reiff: There's a reason it's easier to get an appointment with Dr. Chaudhary than nearly any other rheumatologist in the area, most of which have 6+ month waitlists. Consider this a red flag. Everyone is very nice, don't get me wrong, but I was given a life-altering diagnosis over a voicemail and prescribed a drug that is highly risky for my pre-existing condition only to get a second opinion two months later (I had been on a long waitlist) and find out I didn't in fact have this disease. He never re-tested or tried investigating further, and he dismissed multiple concerns and signs/symptoms of mine repeatedly with no empathy. In my experience, he practices reckless medicine and treated me like a number, nothing more. I'm just glad I trusted my instincts. STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST.
M K: Dr. Chaudhary is a highly incompetent doctor, I am surprised he has any patients.
Lori Stancill _ Staff - StoughES: Let me have a minute of your time please. If you need a rheumatologist Cary Rheumatology is where you need to be! From the moment I walked in Dr. Chaudary’s office, every person I met was welcoming, kind, compassionate, and sympathetic to my pain. His nurse April was incredible!! She listened to the story of my pain and the fact that I hadn’t been able to walk for 5 days and responded with, “We’re going to do all we can do to help you”💜. Dr. Chaudary knew exactly what to do for me and his treatment relieved some of my pain before even leaving his office. As far as I’m concerned I met Jesus and his disciples today! They currently reside at Cary Rheumatology. God bless you all!!!
J.P: Not good. Told my GP I should go to Mayo but I did not have anything Rhuetological. One trip to Mayo and diagnosed with a Rhuetological and finally treated. Save yourself time and go to Duke or Mayo if you can. Similar experience at wake med where they failed to even do the min blood tests. Unfortunately, in this field you are limited to small group of specialist in the RTP area.
Krishnaveni Kalluri: Dr Chaudhry and the entire staff is so professional, friendly and helpful. Vandana the office manager is extremely helpful with any questions I have, helps getting approvals from insurance and all other insurance related things. I will highly recommend them.
Nevada Barrett: My experience was not good and a repeat patient. I was handled poorly by April, and because my PCP was asked to do some internal paperwork, that I had no clue of the details. I continued to get bounced around, and finally getting April and my PCP on the phone, to discuss. This poor communication should not involve me the patient having to do a conference call. Although the doctor takes UHC, I was told that there needed to be PA for the specific number of visits before they would schedule or pay full cost. My distaste was how they spoke to me and only to find out that they would no longer see me.Good thing that Dr. Chaudry is not the only qualified specialist on the planet. I'll gladly find someone with a team of compassionate folks on staff.
Sarah K. Little: I’ve been seeing Dr. Chaudhary for almost 10 years. He is an amazing doctor—listens to his patients, takes time with each patient, and gets to know his patients. i highly recommend, Dr. Chaudhary and Cary Rheumatology!
MARGARET Secrest: Very professional, friendly staff and very compassionate.
Sarah Smith: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sanjay’s for almost a year now. He and his team have been so compassionate and knowledgeable ever since my first visit. Dr. Sanjay has done a phenomenal job of not only helping me understand my diagnoses but also understand my treatments as well.At the time of my first visit in my late 20’s, I was walking with a cane, had limited use of one arm, and was in an incredible amount of pain due to undiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. This was the fifth doctor’s office (literally) that I had been referred to and had very little faith that I’d find answers. However with their assistance over the last year, I’ve been able to get back to a manageable state and return to daily activities including walking without a cane. The office atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the entire team is exceptional. I would highly recommend CRAA.
Audrey Jones: Dr. Chaudhary is fantastic! He understood my possible underlying conditions, he did additional blood work, and then directed me to the specialist I truly needed to see. He has continued to stay in contact with me even when my condition was well outside of the scope of his practice. I’m forever grateful!!!
Lorrie Mullins: They are absolutely great with there patients. They go on and beyond there way for you. I appreciate them everyday and every minute they help me
Ernest Labrador: For years I've had vision problems and visited multiple doctors of which non were able to diagnose my problem. Two weeks ago my eyes got extremely red and swollen and after seeing my Ophthalmologist a clerk in the office recommended that I see my primary doctor for a blood test. The test indicated possible rheumatoid disease and I took it upon myself to look for a rheumatologist specialist. After searching the internet I came upon Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary at Cary Rheumatology. God must have answered my prayers because after additional blood tests Dr. Chaudhary not only was able to identify the exact rheumatoid diagnosis but provided me with a thorough explanation of this disease as well as a medication to control it. Dr. Chaudhary not only appeared to be very knowledgeable but was also very caring, personable and compassionate. He not only took his time during the office visit but actually called me at home several times to follow up on my progress. In all honesty, I highly recommend Dr. Chaudhary without any hesitation. For the first time in years I am able to see clearly and feel human again. Thank you Dr. Chaudhary for saving my life.
Azcona Family: Pain is something that causes grief on so many levels. Having a place where solutions are found brings much peace . Dr Sanjay Chaudhary cares about your whole well being . He’s caring and patient while finding the best solution. He works with your comfort level and validates all concerns . He responds in a timely fashion. His staff is a dream to work with . Once you arrive at the office you enter a warm and inviting environment. I highly recommend Cary Rheumatology .
melissa koenig: Office staff and Dr. Chaudhary are all very patient and friendly. You see the doctor every you visit the office, which is great! My treatment has worked very well and I am very satisfied with the entire experience.
Isabella Connor: I see Dr.Chaudhary here and he's great! He's very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He has even gone out of his way to call me the day after and check on me several times when I was feeling particularly ill. He does a great job with his patients and I highly recommend him!The nursing staff and front desk staff are also very kind and helpful, and always call me back in a timely manner if I leave a message.
Pavan Gundala: My wife has been seeing Dr. Chowdhary for a year now and he has been quite caring and explained the root cause of her problem which we could not figure out from other RA doctors. We were supposed to move to other place but we were so much impressed with the treatment and the care from the doctor and very much hesitant to move from here. We strongly recommend Dr. Chowdhary if you have RA.
Amy Bass: Dr. C and his staff are great! I have Lupus, along with some other serious medical issues, and I trust this group of people totally! They are always quick to respond whenever I need them, which I can’t say for most of the other doctors I have to see. I have been a patient here since they opened and have since referred several family members and friends. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else! I love that I can go in and joke around and have fun with these guys, but yet know they take my health care seriously.

Agha Arthritis Associates: what do users think?
Audrey Velazquez: After making an appointment three weeks prior to my appointment, I was told that my insurance was not accepted. The doctor wanted $260.00 for the visit. There is much more to say about my experience with this doctor. Overall don't waste your time.
Brian H: Patients feel trapped because they aren't many arthritis doctors in our area and the long wait for new patients, sometimes several months. The fact I could get in sooner with Dr Agha is somewhat telling. First impression was him seemingly pushing a plan for meds to save me money, which really came across as he gets a big cut and lines his pockets (my impression and opinion only). Then there's more obvious signs, he has appointments at 8, 8:10, 8:20 and 8:30; however, he very regularly doesn't arrive until 8:30 (as seen over the past two years). He has very little respect for his customers. Today it was 2.5 hour wait and I finally demanded a refund and left. Two other patients had already left as well out of frustration. When I arrived at 10:10am, his 9am patient had already been waiting 1.5 hours.. and finally left. Mine was 2.5 hour wait (and increasing) for a 10:20 appointment and I too finally left after voicing my displeasure and demanding a refund. Dr Agha stated that if I didn't come back within 30 days he would call in and cancel my prescription (and I have an audio recording to prove it). He seems to use office visits as a requirement to get prescriptions refills, thereby driving up his profits, when all he does is read the blood work, look at my hands, schedule the next appointment and take my money every 90 days.... Save yourself a lot of frustration and go elsewhere, even if it takes longer to get an appointment.
B B: I went to visit a rheumatologist not a psychologist! Apparently, I was having a lot of "somatic complaints likely due to a mood disorder." Sadly, this man isn't qualified to work with anyone suffering with lupus. Especially if you base that off of the first time seeing a patient without building rapport or even knowing their history. It's very hard finding good doctors these days. Psychosomatic though? 🙄
PepsiTramp “Pepsitramp”: Love Dr Agha! I have been seeing him for about 7 years. After a difficult period pre-diagnosis and multiple doctors, and diagnoses, I was relieved to sit down a doctor that not only listened, but believed me. He takes the time to find what works right for each individual. His knowledge and compassion set him above the rest.He has had recent changes in his support staff which has caused some hiccups, He is well worth the minor inconveniences.weworth the mi
Ann Williams: Dr Agha is an amazing Rheumatologist. When I came to him as a patient I was all but in a wheelchair. With his knowledge and desire to help my RA is manageable now.
joan H Zamojcin: I have been a patient of Dr. Agha for 7 years. (When I was first diagnosed, I saw a different rheumatologist in Cary whom I found to be completely unsatisfactory, and changed to Dr.Agha within several visits.) Since I was newly diagnosed, he started me on a regimen of care that has kept me going for the past 7 years. The office staff are kind, caring and efficient and quick to respond to my needs. Sometimes there is a wait in the office, but only because Dr. Agha takes the time with every patient to answer their questions and to explain treatment options. I always know that when it's my time to see him, I will not be rushed out of his office to make way for the next patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Agha to anyone with rheumatology or arthritic problems.
Amber Iciano: This office is completely unprofessional. One lady working at the front desk neglected to fulfill her responsibilities and proved to be incompetent of admin duties. Her task was to file my paperwork which was transferred well before my visit. Not to mention they forgot I was there and left me sitting in the office for over 2 hours to give me a prescription for what he (the doctor) thought may work. I will NEVER return to this office again.

Noopur Goel, MD Rheumatologist: what do users think?
Mehmet H. Kural: She is a great doctor. Clear, confident, to-the-point, and informative. We left her office with zero dubt remained in our minds.
Riverbank: Met this doctor a few weeks ago. She was quite dismissive of my conditions. She didn’t ask anything about my conditions, just wanted to know my goals. Basically, I paid her to go to her office so she could make a mockery of me and not understand what I am going through or provide solutions or feedback or any direction. She should definitely not be anywhere near the field of patient care.
Louise O'Brien _ Staff - DillardDriveMS: Finally! Someone who is taking my pain seriously.
Jen Lauren: literally the worst doctor i’ve ever seen in my life. i am suffering from horrible, debilitating symptoms of lupus only to be told that it would take 3 weeks for a blood test to come back to determine if i “have” lupus or not even though i have literally every symptom of it and the doctor would not help me in any way. she was quick to collect her payment when i walked in the door, only to tell me about 10 minutes into my appointment that i should go to an emergency room to get help for my ailments. all of these reviews on here are fake, i do not believe that this doctor is competent at her job at all for how i was completely dismissed today. i left the office sobbing and their attitude was “too bad” after promising me over the phone when i made the appointment that they would help me seek immediate relief for my horrible suffering. disgusted and would never recommend anyone to this doctor for any sort of medical care at all. i should’ve thrown $250 in the garbage or lit it on fire honestly, it would have made me less upset than seeing this woman.
Jim Ruehle: My wife has been seeing Dr Goel since June of this year. We’ve seen Dr Goel 3 times now. She is amazing! Fantastic at explaining things In very common terms, very patient and listens! Our first appointment she spent over an hour, mostly just listening! At that appointment she solved a side affect of one of our RXs! We like how she partners with us to solve one key “issue” at a time. Listen, order labs and tests , diagnose, game plan…then on to the next “issue”. Baby steps with compassion, encouragement, and skill! Love her brand new office and Jessica at the front desk! Wonderful private (not corporate) practice! We are thrilled Dr Goel is our RA doctor! Signed: Mrs & Mr Ruehle
Kat Smith: I was diagnosed with RA when I was 3 and let me tell you, I've been through a number of Rheumatologists in the last 30 years and boy is it hard to find a good one!Dr. Goel actually LISTENS to you, and offers a variety of treatment options. She's knowledgeable and caring and is willing to continue trying new things if other options don't work as well. She isn't judgemental and she's compassionate about your struggles with chronic health conditions.I love her availability with scheduling as well, though I don't think that's going to last long.
Patricia Scriven: Since I've been a patient of Dr. Goel, I've seen a significant improvement! I'm really very pleased to be one of her patients! I Thank God for her!!
Laura A: Dr. Goel is one of the most caring, compassionate, receptive, and helpful doctors I've encountered. She engages her patients and listens to their concerns, without rushing them or making assumptions. She thoroughly reviews treatment options - clearly explaining risks and benefits. I would without reservation highly recommend Dr. Goel and her practice to anyone who is seeking care.
Live Happy: She listens and is prepared for your visits- she has read your record and actually knows what was going on with you your last visit. I want to give her 0 stars so that her practice doesn't grow and it becomes too hard to get appointments lol - she is great!
Theresa Penev: Dr. Goel has been so compassionate in her care for me. She listens to everything I say and tries to find solutions that truly help. I love how she wants to to incorporate healthy lifestyle changes as well as medicines to heal the body, instead of medicine only. There is a shortage of rheumatologists in NC, so I drive 2 hours to been seen by her, but it is definitely worth it!
Kelly Ybarra: Dr. Goel has been amazing in helping with everything from diagnosis to working with my insurance on medication approvals. I highly recommend her, she is amazing!
Peg Giesbrecht: Dr Goel is very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. She listens carefully, explains options and answers questions specifically and thoroughly. Her understandingof the way RA impacts and interacts with other medical conditions and areas of life has been very helpful to me these last six months.
David Robertson: I experienced a sudden and very painful onset of rheumatoid arthritis. My GP referred me to Dr Goel and I'm really glad she did. After initial testing, Dr Goel put me on a treatment regimen that also relieved the whole-body pain I was experiencing. Dr Goel listens very well, offers alternatives, and is willing to discuss any concerns the patient has. I highly recommend Dr Goel to anyone suffering from this type of disease.
