Cranfield Academy - Cary: what do users think?
Addi Hofmann: Staffing is a major concern. Like many others, this facility is very short staffed. They lost a director over a year ago and never filled the position. The assistant director left several months ago and the position has not been filled. The kids/small toddlers are sent back and forth between classrooms to meet minimum ratios throughout the day. Rooms that used to be staffed with 2 people are down to 1 and there is no staff to buffer when someone leaves. This place has been a good home for us (2 kids) for a couple of years and has overall been great fit with caring teachers/staff! I will happily update this review if staffing improves but want others seeking childcare to be informed.**update: 5/9/23: they have hired a director but still have not replaced the assistant director. I’m not sure if there is a plan to. Staffing is still not good and the kids get shuffled around between the classrooms to try to meet ratios throughout the day.
Krystal Hemmingway: My son started at Cranfield in December of 2022 and it has been one of the worst experiences for the both of us. The staff starting with the teachers all the way up into the corporate office are completely unorganized and lack the communication skills necessary to run a daycare facility properly. I would not recommend anyone leave their child in this schools hands.
Ashley Wolber: The staff is so caring and friendly. They really take the time to address each child’s individual needs.
Tara Mylenski: We’ve been happy here, but have some reservations after Cranfield took over a few months ago. Tuition increased exponentially and quality decreased. They are extremely understaffed (current staff is great but overworked and you can feel their stress). The teachers and children are shuffled around way too much, which leads to a feeling of uneasiness for the kids and the parents. I am optimistic things will improve, but I would not enroll my child until number of staff increases greatly and they go back to the original curriculum. The merger comes with a Montessori curriculum, which I did not agree to when I signed up. I’m a fan of Montessori but not at the younger ages of daycare.
D Jasper: My son has been at this Kids R Kids location for the last 4 years. He is getting ready to graduate from their private kindergarten next week. I can't say enough good things about this daycare/school and all of the staff members. They care about the kids and it shows. I feel like KRK has been a home away from home for my son.On an educational note, my son is off the charts in reading and math. Much of this is due to KRK starting their children off on the Letterland program (What Wake county schools use to help teach reading) at such a young age.Thank you to everyone at Kids R Kids for loving all of these children like they are your own. From my mama heart, I appreciate you more than you know.
Kendalton Draper: Absolutely amazing school. My daughter has been there since she was an infant. I have no complaints and my child loves it there. The teachers and staff are amazing and very communicative about what's going on. My child has learned so much from being there. They also offer extra activities like soccer and dance. This is 100% the best choice in daycares I couldnt ask for better people to teach and help my child grow and be prepared for elementary school.
Danielle Quinn: Our daughter was struggling with remote learning at the start of her kindergarten year (she had never attended full time school), so we began looking for private schools so she could attend in-person. KRK Cary were responsive and accommodated a virtual walkthrough so we could meet the teachers and students. We talked about the curriculum and knew it was a great fit, but we never could have imagined how amazing this place would be for our daughter. In a few short months, she went from a reluctant learner with anxiety about school (since the virtual set up went so poorly), to a thriving student who can’t wait to go each day. We know this is largely due to the teacher, Ms. Michelle, who is so in-tune and dedicated to her students. We get consistent, personalized updates about the day and her progress so we can have meaningful conversations with our daughter when she comes home and can continue building on what she’s been mastering at school. It feels like we have an actual support system to ensure our daughter’s success - what more could a parent ask for?
Laura Sokash: KRK did a great job making our children feel welcome as we transitioned into the school in the middle of the covid-19 crazy. The private kindergarten was created this year. The curriculum is organized, educational, and character focused. It is tailored to meet each child where they are developmentally. The school and teachers are advocates for the children and have great communication with the parents. Our child is happy and I can't imagine a better kindergarten experience.
Michelle Studios: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ResponsivenessMy children went to kids or kids almost 20 years ago and they still remember the names of the teachers that were there. Some of those teachers are still there. That says something very special
Christopher Shumake: Walked in on the 4 year old to find a mid-morning game of "jesus loves you," and we followed up to learn about a "blessing song" that starts "god we thank you."Walked in on the 2 year old to find, repeatedly, the class gathered and watching a tablet together. Office denied any use of tablets.Nothing in the center documentation discusses religion, no one offered information on religiously-themed content before we joined, camera feeds are silent w/out microphones, and indoctrinating my children is unacceptable.
Diane Johnson: My older daughter has gone here for summer camp for the last 2 years, which has been a great experience. This year, my younger daughter had a 1 month gap in care before starting kindergarten, and so we put her in the Pre-K class. It was really amazing. The wonderful teachers (Dovile and Sara) managed to spark her curiosity and get her excited about kindergarten, which she had been anxious about. She came home wanting to practice writing letters for the first time! And she was really happy every day at pick up, talking about her great day. I only wish we had taken her to kids r kids earlier! One final comment: both of my kids (even my super picky eater) LOVED the food. Thanks Ms Vee!
Briarly Reed: Kids R Kids is a fantastic early education center! They live up to their motto of hugging first and then teaching. My girl has been well loved and cared for by her "family" of teachers and admin from age 2 until now at age 4. We had hoped to graduate from the kindergarten prep here, but my change in job locations has required us to make a move of convenience. We are so sad to leave you all!! If you are the parent of a prospective student, please know your children will be loved, respected, inspired, and they will learn lessons of character and friendship building far beyond just phonics and basics of mathematics. We will miss those transparent walls bursting with the colors of art and creativity, that open, warm environment. Thank you, Kids R Kids, for 3 wonderful years of hugging, loving, and genuinely caring for our girl!
Wendy Xu: They are not nice for my child.
Amanda Draper: Kids R Kids Cary has been amazing! We love all of the teachers and directors. Wouldn't send my baby girl anywhere else!
Qiyi Yang: 5-star child development center, it’s not just daycare, it’s school that your child will learn and progress every day. Letterland is taught regularly to make your child get a smooth transition when they go to elementary school. Stuff and room teach are very nice and full of love.
Kerri Krasney: Kids R Kids was the best possible choice when caring for my little ones. My oldest was nurtured through a speech delay and is now talking and reading away in kindergarten, none of which could have been possible without the devoted team at KRK. Aside from knowing my kids were getting the best education here, I always trusted they were safe and loved, and that knowledge was absolutely invaluable. Thank you Kids R Kids for being a home away from home for my precious little ones!
Jodi Flora: Loved KRK so much! All the teachers and directors were wonderful.
Ashley Waples: We have really enjoyed the extracurricular activities at Kids R Kids.
Shannon May: Love Love Love this Academy! My oldest was more than ready for Kindergarten which was a blessing because he was able to acclimate wonderful to starting school! Also the teachers care so much for each child not just educationally but teach them in many different facets of life I.e. manners and picking up after themselves.
Elizabeth Hall: Our daughter has been at Kids R Kids for 3 yrs now and we could not be happier. She loves her time there. There are always hugs and love to give.Such a great place!
Vanessa: We've been with KRK Cary for about a year now and we have been very happy with our experience. Our daughter is 3 and has gone from knowing most of her alphabet and numbers when she started to now being able to read basic BOB books and do simple addition. The teachers are wonderful and I like that there is little turnover in both the teachers and the students.

La Petite Academy of Cary: what do users think?
Breawna Copeland: We love La Petite on Baines Court!! My child started at La Petite a little over a year ago and it has been a very positive experience for us all. The change in management has made a huge difference to the school as they are caring and supportive. The staff is very welcoming and loving towards my child and makes her feel safe and secure in her environment. I know La Petite has set my child up for success in Kindergarten.
Amanda Hanlon: My child has been enrolled at this school for 6 months now and we are SO happy with the care they are receiving. The teachers are so attentive and they are always doing fun activities and best of all learning! The new directors have been very supportive and helpful during our transition here and their communication is great. Feel like everyone in that school knows my child and our family.
Heather Drake: Does not work with children with special needs. They will find any excuse to kick them out. My grandson has Autism, he was climbing on tables and although they have a baby gate “running out of the classroom”. He is 2!! Didn’t even know there was a problem until Monday…got a call 3 days later kicking him out! Yet all I heard when I went there was “how much they lived having him”. Very very upsetting!
Jessy Rocks: The staff here changes often and while my son was attending this location the director and a few teachers quit. The people who work here are unhappy and it shows. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to any parent.
Allie: This was hard to write as I've had many teachers I enjoyed here. Check the recent DCDEE visits on North Carolina childcare when deciding on which daycare to send your child to for citations, and keep a record of everything as management will present a false narrative when the inspectors come to investigate a claim. It's probably the only reason a portion of our claims were confirmed, due to record keeping when they LOST our child. I didn't realize how many other parents were also having issues with this daycare, but it's nice to know we weren't alone. This daycare has lost some wonderful teachers and children due to poor management and a toxic culture. Please know that many of these five star ratings were left for a chance to win a free week of care, typically after someone shared something negative. I'm so thankful to be at a new daycare that genuinely enjoys my child with regular staffing to form better relationships. This LPA was a terrible experience for our first daycare, especially after the previous manager found a better position. (She was fantastic). We loved so many teachers here, and it's so sad most of them have left. Poor management can really destroy something great, especially when they don't take accountability.
Anje Stelwagon: My son's head was split open at this daycare and had to be rushed to the doctor to see if he needed stitches. I had to beg for an incident report and when I contacted the safety department for an investigation the staff there had a completely different story of what happened. They also claimed he had behavioral issues and enrolled him in a program to correct it without our permission. We only found out because they complained to us that he got worse. We also almost had to come get him one day because the staff was not supervising him properly and he almost escaped into a different area of the daycare (which also happened with someone else's child and they received a violation notice from the department of safety). My son is at a new daycare and it's like we have a whole new child. He isn't resistant to leave the house in the morning anymore and has no "behavioral" issues at the new daycare. Overall, if you value your child's development and safety, this isn't the daycare for you. Side note: this daycare gives out goodies for good reviews.
John Seck: My friend's autistic son was completely neglected by the staff, diaper not changed frequently enough, ignored when having autistic meltdowns and as a result did not eat or drink the whole time he was there. After nap time one of the staff ripped his sleeping mat out from underneath him, of course triggering another meltdown. I would expect this sort of child care from a 16 year old babysitter with anger issues, not professional child care staff.
Alysse Campbell: I had two young kids in at this school. They were both kicked out before age 3. I wish we left sooner because the schools we found were much better fit for the kids. My son's speech and communication have had a radical improvement since leaving. And my daughter's behavior issue has not been a problem at the new school.
Yesenia Lopez: My sons been here for about a month now and it’s the only school he’s actually been happy with! It was always hard to get him adjusted to schools and he would cry but he talks about how he loves it here and his teachers and friends! I like being able to communicate with the teacher through the app and watch him throughout the day. Highly recommend!
Daylon Pinkus: The staff at Baines court are wonderful to work with, my kids love going to daycare. They always have smiles on their face at pick up. The staff does wonderful with helping the development of my kids and truest care about them. Would highly recommend going to this location!
Maggy Bell: We love the teachers! Lots of care for kiddos and fun seasonal activities!
Blair Witmer: My toddler and infant currently attend La Petite Academy and the staff is AMAZING! My toddler is a reckless clumsy little boy and no matter how small of an accident they let me know immediately when something happens. They always communicate with us parents about what’s going on. I could write a lot of wonderful things about this daycare, but I’m sure there is a word limit. All the teachers know my children by name and always greet them with a smile. My oldest has been with them for 2 years and the youngest almost 4 months. If you are looking for a daycare who cares about your kids and treats you with respect this is the place!
Andrea McGovern: We switched to this daycare a few months ago and it’s been exceptional. They take amazing care of our son and we are so grateful for their teachers and staff. Only downfall is it’s expensive but most childcare is.
Yayioude H.: Unpleasant experience with this day care. My son was rejected by the director Justina on his second day. It was his first time being in day care, he cried a lot and upset, which is normal. But they were not patient with him. They only accept quiet, "disciplined" child. Looking at the video what kids do in that daycare are just sit there play with the toys, no learning no dancing, nothing. Outside play for two hours, one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. We don't feel being welcomed at the beginning, it has been approved when she asked me to take my son home and can't attend the school until he "would like to come into the building by himself." This is insane. This school is not inclusive, I really doubt there is kind of discrimination involved because we are Chinese. The place is so small, and old. Not even close to what they advertise on their website. They don't even have a price list for tuition. It seems like different kids get different price? When I asked her about the tuition, she just wrote down $ amount on my application forms. I wouldn't chose it if I have other choice. My desired day care have a waiting list until next June. I will never return to this day care, no way... I was so hopeless and helpless when we got rejected, I'm a working mom I really need to have my baby taken care in a day care. They even don't want to give it a try. All my family got sick due to the virus my son brought back from the day care. He only stayed there for one day, which means the sanitation job is not done well there. I don't know about other locations, but 104 Baines Ct. really hurt the reputation of the brand of La Petite.
PROBE CONSULTING COMPANY L.L.C.: Best daycare my granddaughter has ever been a part of. Great teachers and administrators and a top notched curriculum. I highly recommend.
Duha Diana: I guess there isn't the perfect daycare and it's very hard to find one that will check all your needs.1. Location: I loved their location because they are a highway and then near all my activities in kildarefarm ,doctor offices, gym lifetime , trader joe etc so it was an easy commute and I was able to run errands as well. The building it self is hidden behind the gas station and near tanas hair saloon which was great so it was not on a main road. also the playground is behind the building and it isn't accessible without pulling in the parking. You would need to enter your password to unlock the door and they always had the door locked which was perfect. The building it self is very old though and the layout is not the best . there isn't a hall way and then seperate doors for each class. The hallway is older kids classes so you would have to walk to everyone to get to your son class . In my case, my son was in the 2 years old class so there was a baby gate that would seperate them .The kitchen was in the middle of their classroom which I disliked. The school it self: it's very organized Ms Justine who is the director is very firm and consistent! she reminds me of my old school principle. Firm , Strong and and scary in a good way that you respect. It was very hard to first get in. There was a very long waitlist due to kids going back to school after covid and covid vaccines for toddlers. Ms Justine is very organized she gave me a packet that explained everything to us and gave us a tour. They use brightwheel app that will give you information on their lesson plan , what they learnt that day, potty sleep , lunch etc. Cut off time was 10 am which is quite late compared to other schools which is great !my dislikes is that My 2 years old is used to me feeding them , he will not finish his plate unless someone feeds him I requested the teacher to help feed him but she said she cannot due to policy. The school offers live coverage . I guess it's a two sided sword. It's great to know how is your kids day is going but also everytime my husband would log in he would see my toddler crying and struggling. We understood that its a learning curve and that the kids would take time to get used to being dropped off at school without crying but my husband was having the hardest time which is the reason why he took him out while I was giving birth .Food is served from the school you cannot bring you own lunch because they worry some kids will bring an allergen and they might feed each other which is smart and wonderful . The menu was amazing and full of options . My son has cinnmon allergy which isn't very common, he doesn't need an epi pen but it would cause him to itch severely . It's not an accommodation that the management can do because he doesnt need an epi pen but ms Erin was nice enough to note it and tell me that she will keep an eye on it.The few weeks that my son joined La petite I noticed a drastic change. My son was potty trained after day 2 he saw other kids go to the bathroom and all of a sudden he is going to the bathroom by himself. Lastly at LP you must wash your hands from moving from one station to another. so anytime you move 20 feet hands must get washed. I love that my son brought this habit home 🏡 .I hope this review helps you decide if LP is a good fit for your little one.
samantha genovese: When my son first started in their toddler class we were off to a rough start. It was his first time in daycare really and he wasn’t adjusted very well. We were having some trouble in his classroom, which me being a first time mom I definitely acted a little defensive about my son but after actually listening to the director she was actually trying to help. Now fast forward a few months my child has blossomed! He is so advanced for his age can tell you all his letters colors and numbers before 2 and a half. Justina and ms erin have been a blessing and hope to keep my son here until he goes to school. It’s a reassuring feeling when your son walks in and willingly runs to hug all the teachers and directors.
Grace Purtell: Recently began our La Petite journey and have had a great experience for our 5 year old daughter. Really impressed by the great communication from management, caring staff, variety of offerings in a given day. As this is our daughters last year of pre-k before starting school in the fall I am incredibly confident with the intentional teaching she is receiving at La Petite she will be more than ready for Kindergarten. So glad we found this gem. It's got a great neighborhood feel and everyone takes care of one another.
Francis Campbell: I had really high hopes for this daycare. We started back in October of 2021 and i have had problems from the jump. The first incident was one of the teaches fed my son someone's else breastmilk in the midst of covid, not to mention all of the other possible dangers of such carelessness. When I addressed the incident, Justina the director was no where near as concerned as I was and I had to ask them to write up an incident report. When my son was missing one of his bottles I reached out to the daycare to send a note to the other parents. a note was not sent and I was told that I only packed my son three bottles instead of the normal 4. When I reached back out to them concerning his missing bottles and to AGAIN send a note to the parents, Janet was very snarky and told me that if a parent had my sons bottle they would have already returned it. I asked her again to send a note to the parents which she did not do. I was sent a message later that day that read "A parent returned the bottle. What do you know we didn't have to send that note after all." That was a three day process. My son and I really enjoyed Ms Joy his main teacher. ( She did not give him the breastmilk). My son was soon disenrolled after that for a "Safety Violation" after their acts of carelessness. I see as a blessing that we are no longer there.
N Smith: La Petite Academy of Cary has been a phenomenal choice for our family. My daughter started at La Petite 5 months ago, and I have seen incredible growth in educational, emotional, and intellectual aspects of her development. Most notably, the teachers, staff, and management are wonderful! They all care about each and every child and strive each day to ensure there is open communication and to create a positive, safe, worry-free learning environment.
Amanda Hurley: My daughter has been attending La Petite Academy for a little over 8 months now. She is currently enrolled in the Toddlers class, and I am truly amazed at how much she is learning while there. She at 1 ½ is far more advanced than my older children were at that age. She gets so excited to see her teachers and her friends every day. The staff is exceptional and always very prompt when asked questions. I love that there are cameras in the classrooms so I can check in on my little one throughout the day. I would recommend this center to friends and family.

La Petite Academy of Cary: what do users think?
Ashley Visconti: We love this daycare! The staff is exceptional. We are in the infant room and I love the teachers. They are always so helpful and informative. I couldn’t ask for a more loving community for our son.
Kristin Clowes: Choosing a center to care for your child (especially 3 month old baby) is a difficult decision! But from the moment I spoke with Ms. Briana (Assistant Director) on the phone I could feel her caring and passion for children. Our son loves his teachers, the food and the activities! Mrs. Toni in the infant room is simply amazing. The staff cares for the children like their own. It’s so comforting getting updates on our little man throughout the day through the daycare app. La Petite is more than a daycare - they are like family to us now!
IamSarahR424: We are in our second month of child care for our 3 1/2 year old Allison. Our daughter made a transition from private in-home daycare to a school environment daycare at La Petite. We have been on a roller coaster of emotions with this transition, but Bri and all of the teachers have made the transition much easier for us. They calm my fears and are attentive to my daughters needs. Thank you Bri and staff at La Petite!!
Glenn Waldroup: We love this place and are very sad to leave due to relocation. The teachers from the infant room through to the toddler room were nothing short of fun, loving and attentive to each child. Our son loved his teachers and we loved them to!
Sandra Quinteros: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI highly recommend this daycare My three children where attending here and they loved everyone, they are friendly organized and professional. At the front desk Mrs. Lauren and Mrs. Vanessa are helpful and good listeners also bilingual.
Shea Johnson: I went here with my brothers and I couldn’t have asked for a better day care experience. So many great caretakers and the environment was so special and friendly, I made lots of friends. So thankful that my parents found them❤️!!!
Tammie Rountree: I recently worked at two of the centers and now I don’t... I wanted to enroll my child in this one (the one that I originally worked in )and they told me that They would not except my child because I was let go from the second one that I no longer work at anymore... I think it was very rude of the dm Adrienne because if it would have been my husband trying to enroll our child how would they know that his wife /my child’s mother was me. I feel as though they still could have excepted my child regardless because it wasn’t like I wanted to enroll her in the one that I no longer work at (the 2nd center in Morrisville ) I forgot to mention to u the under the table mess that the 2nd center was doing and that’s y I would never enroll my child there... I think that they are rude and disrespectful and after I talked to HR about the situation ... someone won’t have a good day tomorrow 🤷🏾‍♀️... over all the teachers are great but I’m just happy I found a better center to put my child in that’s NOT LPA... and they offer the same benefits for my child at a much cheaper price 🙌🏾...
Amy Allred: My son has been going to La Petit for almost 2 months now and we have loved it! The infant room teachers are so great and make me feel comfortable leaving my baby with them. I love getting updates throughout his day on the Precious Status app.
Brittany Davis: Love this facility! Started my oldest son there when he was 3 months old (now almost 3 years old) and my youngest son when he was 6.5 weeks old (now 9 months old) and can't imagine them anywhere else. Staff is friendly and accommodating and Mrs. Toni in the infant room is AMAZING!
Caitlin Hollowell: I can't think of a single complaint, and I'm a very finicky mother!! The directors are caring and kind, the teachers are loving and patient. I have a child in Toddler 1, 12-18 months, and they made his transition into this new daycare a breeze!! They serve the kids great food, but I am one of those moms who prefers organic foods, so I bring his breakfast, lunch and snack every day. They serve it to him happily and they also offer him their food, because he was getting jealous of the other kids' plates and couldn't understand why he can't eat their yummy food, too! He's had issues with constipation and bad diaper rashes, and they have been SO accommodating. My husband and I LOVE getting pictures of him all day, seeing how much of what he ate, and how long he slept! We are making a collage of all the pictures of him napping. He is learning so much! Shapes, colors, numbers, animals, songs! He surprises me all the time with what he has learned at daycare. They taught him to sleep on a mat, got him off the bottle, he's a pro at using utensils now, and is growing up to be such a kind and sweet little boy. We love this daycare!! SO much bang for the buck! Ask about employer discounts... if you work at a big company, you might be eligible!
Jennifer Gertz: We've been using this center for almost a year now. They're great! They post pics daily and will call you in the event something happens. The teachers are so sweet and you can tell they genuinely love and care for my little one.
Jessica Gaskin: We've been at this center about 1.5 years. Overall it's a great center, especially for the price. Good communication. Like the app updates on the kids- it's really great seeing your kids having a great day and doing fun things. The staff really cares about the kids.Only cons are that there's lots of turnover in general, but there are some great teachers who have been there for a long time and they are fantastic, and the food quality has varied significantly since we've been there by the cook. I wish they'd have more fresh fruit served.I never have to worry about my kids safety though, always know what's going on with them, and my kids do learn a lot through play and structured activities which is awesome.
Portia Albertson: I moved to the Cary area 6 months ago and would highly recommend that you enroll your child(ren) here. I absolutely LOVE this daycare facility. The staff is wonderful and they truly treat my children as if they were their own. They offer a variety activities, events and programs to engage the families of the children that attend here. I love the clean, open floor layout of the classrooms within the facility because you are able to see what's going on at all times. Their Precious Status App serves as a fast, efficient and reassuring method of communication that not only keeps you updated with everything your child's day encompasses, but serves as a direct contact with your child's teachers also. In addition too, diapers, food, and wipes are provided for infants at no additional cost with hours of operations from 630 AM - 630 PM Mon-Fri; with occasional Parent Night. Definitely 5 Stars!!!!
Adam Hermanson: We could not be happier with La Petite on W. Chatham St. in Cary, NC. The staff is amazing--truly caring, patient, understanding, and loving. They all greet you whether your child is in their particular class or not. I love that they have fun events that bring all families and staff together to get to know each other better. I've had bad experiences with other daycares in the past, but at La Petite I finally feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. I can tell my child is comfortable and happy as well. It's amazing to see how much he has learned. I also love their app that enables me to see his activity and even pictures of him throughout the day. Give La Petite on W Chatham St a try--they'll soon start to feel like a second family.
Danielle Quarles: My little one has been at La Petite for 3 months and I couldn't ask for better care. The staff is always friendly, helpful and show a genuine care for my son's development and well-being. They're always willing to adjust and accommodate to meet my family's needs and have complete confidence leaving him in their care. Highly recommended!
muddah jones: My son has been here for the last year and a half, and we love it. The teachers have always been so nice and helpful that it truly makes dropping him off a great experience. He started out as the shy kid since he does not have any other brothers or sisters, but that quickly changed. He wakes up each morning excited to get there. The managment there is also wonderful. I have called several times to check on my son as well as just to check on my balanace and they make sure I always have what I need. The few teachers that I have come in contact with were Ms. Casey, Ms. Candis, Ms. Ashley and Ms.Toni. Each one of them always has a smiling face, and they make sure that my son is good. When I walk in they are always engaged and I can tell the kids love being there!!I would recommend this center to anyone.. If you don't believe me simply vist the school.!!
karla gamble: My daughter started daycare because I started a new job and her dad had some training he couldn't miss and me being on 90 day probation period I couldn't miss either! We had toured la petite in September and figured that would be the best place! Her first day I was called and told to come get her in an hour because of plumbing and sanitation issues. My first issue because I couldn't leave work and when I called the assistant Director was very rude and didn't really explain well about what was going on. She instantly got an attitude because I was asking a million questions and put me on hold for 6 minutes I ended up hanging up and my office manager who new this was my first child and that I was terrified to send her anyway just let me go get her! She had only been there 3 hours! She started on a Wednesday and by Friday her father and I had already witnessed a extremely old soiled pamper hanging off her, snot crusted allll over her face which led me to believe they didn't pay her much attention and kids using her cup! Not to mention by Friday night she had a terrible cold and now a little over a week and a half later she has the hand foot mouth disease which started on her butt! The er doctor said that it started there most likely because the changing stations were unsanitary! I'm very upset with this facility and even more scared to send my child back to any daycare! One thing I know for sure she won't be going back to the la petite academy in Chatham street in Cary NC!!!!!!!
D Jasper: I toured 15 different centers before choosing La Petite Academy for my infant son. What I was looking for hen I toured was: the demeanor of the children, the experience of the staff, the condition of the building, hours of operation, and parent reviews. I am happy to give La Petite 5 stars. I'd give them more if I could. The children always seem happy. The staff always have a smile on their face. The center is always tidy. This daycare won me over with how the teachers interacted with the children, the set up of the classrooms, the Precious Status app (Absolutely love this! Puts my heart at ease!), and the fact that they provide diapers/wipes/food.
Carter Davis: My son loves being there every day and can't wait to see Ms. Toni in the morning. I recommend this daycare to anyone in the area.
Keith Woodie: Our boys love going to school here! We started here about 2 years ago after a extensive search throughout the Cary area schools. The staff are great and feel like family. Thanks La Petite!
Sindy Del Cid: This place is the best!!! My 4 kids really love their teachers, they love, love, love the food!!!!!When i try picking them up they hide because they want to stay...thats how awesome this place is..Best la petite ever!!!!!

The Goddard School of Cary: what do users think?
Ryne Collins: My son is enrolled at The Goddard School of Cary, and our experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. The dedication and professionalism of the staff leave me in awe each day. They are not merely employees in a childcare center but genuine caregivers, passionately involved in nurturing young minds. Moreover, the administrative team spares no effort in fostering a sense of unity and belonging. They strive tirelessly to make both the students and their families feel part of a vibrant, caring community. For anyone exploring childcare options, I highly recommend that your search ends here. The Goddard School of Cary surpasses all expectations, providing not just quality care and education but also a nurturing environment where children can thrive. It's truly the finest choice in our community for fostering your child's growth and development.
Morris Hamilton: We have been a Goddard family since 2017. To say that we trust them with our kids is an understatement. In this case, you can judge a book by its cover. When you walk into the building, the front area looks clean and inviting, and that first impression is exactly what you should expect from Goddard Cary. Our children rarely get sick because Goddard takes hygiene seriously. Children must wash their hands upon arrival, and throughout the pandemic, Goddard did their best to follow CDC guidelines. Needless to say, Goddard makes us feel safe about our kids' wellness. As for the inviting part, I encourage you to take a tour. The teachers really care about their kids and their development, and you can't get past the front desk without a warm smile and a hello!Lastly, we've had two kids transition from Goddard to elementary school, and Goddard definitely made it easy for us. Our children were ready and willing to learn when they started kindergarten, and they continue to excel in their primary education.
Heather Willrich: My son and I moved to NC from Texas when he was 10 months old, and I initially enrolled him at another school. After about 2 months, it became clear that it was not a good fit, and I moved him to the Goddard School of Cary. Everyone at the school, from the teachers to the staff, is just amazing, and my son is so happy and thriving again! I have never worried about him once since he has been enrolled here. It's been such a relief, and it makes me so happy to see him doing so well. We will be moving back to Texas soon, and we will miss everyone at the school!
Yasmin Ravenwolfe: The Goddard school has been an amazing experience for our daughter, who has been attending for the last 1.5 years. She’s reached all her milestones earlier because of the curriculum and support of the teachers. All the teachers and admin staff are super knowledgeable in child development and make an effort to get to know all the kids. Communication between staff and parents is frequent and detailed. The owner’s daughters attend Goddard themselves so we always feel assured that our daughter is getting the best care. We couldn’t imagine her going anywhere else!
Mayra Szeto: My daughter enrolled at The Goddard School of Cary at 4 months old. It was incredibly difficult to send her to school when my maternity leave ended. The infant classroom teachers were absolutely amazing. I felt that my daughter was cared for and loved but most importantly safe. I received photos throughout the day of various activities. She was always happy, playing, and learning. Thank you to Ms. Sara for being an invaluable infant teacher. My ladybug smiles wide when she is passed off to her!
Brittany: My Family has been apart of the Goddard school for about 3 years now. We have never felt welcomed. The only reason my son attended this childcare facility is because everyone else didn’t have any availability. If I had the choice. No, my kid would not have been in this school as long as he did. My son is experiencing terrible twos right now and everything he is doing is normal and I had him checked out at the doctor to verify. The teachers were unable to provide adequate care for my son during this important stage of life. We were threatened to be removed from the school and that my son would have two chances and we would be permanently dismissed. I feel this is discrimination and they’ve wanted us kicked out a long time ago. We never made late payments or anything. The school just did not like us as a family. I do not recommend people of color to attend here… They are a bit racist
Eliana Sammons: Everything is very safe and structured. I love getting updates from the school throughout the day when I’m at work. Our baby has made a lot of friends already and has great relationships with the adults in his life there! We are thankful.
Hannah Noonan: We have loved our experience with the Goddard School of Cary. As hard as it is to leave my baby with someone else, I know that she is cared for and safe. She loves going and has made wonderful connections with all of her teachers. They are reassuring and always available to answer my questions and concerns. Highly recommend.
Charlotte Koehler: Absolutely amazing school. I have 4 kids who all went there and they loved it. The staff is friendly and supportive. I would definitely recommend this school.
Ashley Fina: My daughter has been going here for about 3 years now and I can't say enough good things about this place! My daughter loves being there and is always happy when I pick her up. All of the staff is very kind and you can tell they care about the kids. They are very accommodating to any of your childs needs and have great communication with the parents. Also, they have several fun activities for the kids throughout the year! My daughter and I will be sad to leave when it's finally time for kindergarten.
Ashlei Sykes: The Goddard School on Maynard Road has been a wonderful home away from home for our children. In addition to regular attentive care, children have the opportunity to engage in all kinds of extras including language immersion, athletic skills building, art projects, music, science, multicultural activities and more. My preschooler often shows me yoga poses and strategies for calming down :-). I can easily say that my children learn something new every single day. Most important to us, though, has been the true love that their teachers have shown. And the attention and care given to any concern or question. Children grow and change and not every moment is perfect – I feel comfort each day knowing that they are well cared for and thriving thanks to the Goddard community’s support.
April Tate: Great staff!! It takes a village and Goddard is apart of my village… Special thanks to the front office and especially Ms. Monica!!
Katie Poulios: Three of my children have attended here and we are thrilled with the quality of care and education that my children have received. Highly recommend!
Jared Richardson: We are incredibly happy with our son’s development and the staff is always friendly and caring! I would highly recommend this school to any of our friends.
eunice yi: Our 2 kids (4.5yr and 20m) have been going to Goddard since they were 3m and we are still so happy with the school - so much so that we could not even bring ourselves to switch to a new location that opened up 5 min from our house because we were already settled with the teachers at this school! The directors and teachers all will try to work with you on any concerns and they communicate any challenges or issues they see so that everyone can work on things together. For instance, we were potty training the oldest and made good progress during a long weekend going without pullups, but worried that putting him back in pullups would lead to regression. Goddard said no problem, just send lots of extra clothes and we will make sure to take him to potty more often! Another example - we had rather unique bottles for both of them when they were babies, and they worked with us to make things as easy as possible for us to continue using them :)We love being able to be back inside the school now and talking with the teachers again. They provide a nice overview of how the kids were during the day and I love all the pictures we get :)
Caiti Heil: My two kids have been at Goddard for over two years, and our family has been very happy with the leadership, teachers, and support that our kids receive. Childcare has been a roller coaster the last couple of years and I strongly believe that Lea and team have done everything they could to protect the overall health and wellbeing of the children (and staff) at Goddard. The teachers and directors are so sweet to my kids, even teachers from different classrooms know my kids, listen patiently to their stories, and my older son literally gives every one of them a hug as we leave everyday. Some of our favorite highlights have been 1) the sports enrichment program with Coach Goffrey and Coach Mona who come and do different sports every Wednesday, 2) the celebration of cultural holidays, seasons, etc. through experiments, art, reading, special visitors, etc., 3) having quarterly parent-teacher meetings in addition to the notes that get sent home daily, 4) flexibility and assistance in getting extra outside support for therapy that takes place on the premises, 5) the daily structure that supports both academic and social growth. Highly recommend Goddard of Cary to all parents!
Renee Scaggs: Both of our children attend this school and we haven't had many concerns. Our daughter comes home having learned something new many times which always makes us proud and glad we're sending her here. The only concern I've had is around communication. For example it'll be spirit day or picture day and I'll see the reminder to send my child in XYZ color at 7am which is when I'm already in transit with getting her there. I'd like to be notified at least one day before, I don't know if the morning of is helpful to other parents but it isn't for me. Overall great school, just the personal preference on improving communication.
Laura Ciompi: Nothing but good things to say about the Goddard School of Cary. My son has been attending the school since Fall 2020 and my daughter started in Summer 2021. Each of them has had kind, loving and patient teachers who have helped them learn and grow as they moved through the classrooms. Ms. Sara in the infant room is fantastic - gentle, happy, and you can tell she loves working with babies. Even though my daughter is in a toddler classroom now she will still come say hello to us and check on how we are doing. Ms. Harsha in the pre-K room is wonderful as well - so fun, happy and engaged with the kids! It's not easy working with a room of four year olds but she is great! My kids love going to school and are (almost always!) happy to go to their classrooms in the morning and see their friends. They also have lots of fun events and activities during the year for the kids to enjoy. The owner, Ms. Lea, is a good leader and is one of the main reasons we chose this center. She has a clear vision for how the school should be run and always communicates well with families. The directors/admin staff - Ms. Stacey, Ms. Monica, and Ms. Karen - are all lovely and helpful as well. There is always a smiling face when you walk in the door! I love that all the staff know my children's names and give them big hellos when we come in. Any closings or changes are communicated in advance - a huge help when you have two working parents. Overall, I highly recommend this school!
Jamie Reichenbach: I'm so happy we chose The Goddard School of Cary for our child. We have had such a great experience, from the teachers to the administration. Everyone has been so kind, caring and helpful. We've seen such a tremendous growth in our child since he started here almost 10 months ago. I highly recommend Goddard Cary!
Vinay Kishore: My daughter is with goddard for 4 months now... And we could not be more happy and relieved!!!We feel fortunate to be part of Goddard family. Lea, Karen, Stacey and Monica are fantastic - always greeting with big smile and checking on how our daughter has been doing... The teachers are wonderful as well - Miss Samantha is exceptional... Miss Caroline is so caring, so is Miss Ashley.Thank you Goddard :)
Kathleen Azzam: Our son has been thriving at Goddard for the past 2 years. His classroom teachers inform us of his achievements and/or struggles so we can help him at home - easy to work with. We like all the activities they engage him with, and used some of Goddard's shared curriculum during the short breaks from school. As a Registered Biosafety Profesional, I was happy he was at this school, and overall confident with the decisions made in regards to the pandemic.
