Tara Francis: Even though they stay open later than their competitors by 15 minutes, it isn't worth it to go here! That is if you can find the place. Google maps takes you to their office location, which is about half a block from the actual entrance. Then they will try to scam you big time while you wait in line for what seems like forever. So long actually, that they will "forget your weight" after you cross the big scale and refuse to pay you! Get ready to leave unhappy and underpaid.

You have to weigh your options for the fear of picking up a nail or something in your tires. The long entrance is not paved nor graveled and it was full of deep potholes. The return may not be worth the cost of a flat tire.

London Simone: Excellent company to work with! Service is provided quickly. Employees were incredibly simple to work with! The business came to my house and collected up my car, which I wanted scrapped for cash! I didn't have to produce a title or any other papers. I was instructed to pick up the check from the office. When I arrived at the office, the procedure was quite quick; they took my picture, cashed the check at the facility, and then sent me on my way with $125 in my pockets. Excellent service! I will definitely return if I need to scrap anything else in the near future!
Tara Francis: What I enjoy most about this scrap yard is the scrap art in the parking lot, but mainly Big Trudy the oversized wire barrel! Otherwise, I can only complain. First, I do not like the setup; you are required to drive over the big scale to enter the property whether you need to or not. I wouldn't mind it except I have to dig out my ID every single time, and keep track of a receipt while trying to unload at the small scales. Then, you have to drive past the scales and everyone waiting in line, make a U-turn, and carry your metal about 10 feet from your vehicle to the scale. They are very picky here and will waste your time examining every square inch of your once sorted metal that is now in one big pile. They don't communicate what prices they're paying, and if you ask or try to participate in the process, they push you aside. Finally, when you've sold half your metal (and reloaded the rest back into your car because you refuse to take their offer), you have to drive back over the scale, park in the front parking lot, get out of your vehicle, walk back into the same building, cash in your receipt, and "Say Cheese!" for the camera. The only time I can recommend going here is if Wall Recycling refuses to give you a good price on something, but just realize they're going to give you an even lower price, so don't waste your time.
David Bunt: The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The scrap prices tend to be the best around. I use them regularly for our recycling needs.
Tawa McNeil: My only complaint is the line that you have to sit in as well as the big trucks trying to squeeze past you. A bigger area for customers to pull up to and offload into a bin would be ideal.

From entry to exit, everything went very smoothly with a smiling, friendly, and most helpful group of employees. A big shout-out to Bobby (scales) and Robert (yard). Robert even went ouf of his way to write down where I should stay should I visit his homeland (the Dominican Republic). I'm now looking for other possible recycle materials so I can return to TT&E.

They took the time to dump out a couple of the buckets and sort it so that we could get the most money for it; while patiently explaining to us how it should be sorted and answering our questions.And the lady at the window inside was awesome. She and my Dad got talking. Made him very happy.

All the guys out back are always in good spirits and are more than willing to help. (Word of advice don't throw your scrap on the ground and make them pick it up). Front staff makes payment super quick and they will also put a smile on your face. This is the only scrap yard and should be yours as well to do business!

Roger Bertrand: I went there with a few pounds of this and that (brass, copper, lead, alum.). I drove up and parked. went to the "active" door and said "this is my first time here, how do I get started?" The guy was very easy-going and told me to wait for one of his guys to back in with a forklift and get on the scale. Of course (for me anyway), I got it wrong and had to move out of the forklift's way for him to come back after it was weighed. The guy was patient with me and the actual weighing of my junk went very smoothly.After that it was simple go to the office with my slip of paper and use the ATM to scan the slip and dispense my $$ (which wasn't a whole lot; but it is out of my garage now). Will definitely go back!
Dr. Gary Miles: I had a horrible experience with this company. They bill you twice in a month for the same service and will not correct the error until you catch it. The people answering the phone seems to get very annoyed when you catch their error or scam. They supposed to service their portable toilets once a week. Three weeks past and they never showed up until I called them. These are the most rude humans and very poor customer service!!! They should clean up their garbage business; it really stinks!!!

Tara Francis: Get ready to stand around and tap your foot while waiting for what seems like a century, even though you're the only one there. They are friendly, they just don't have a sense of urgency. They do things backwards here. They weigh all your metal at the same time and subtract the weight after taking each different metal off one-by-one instead of adding it to the scale. This method is highly inefficient because you end up just standing there the whole time rather than participating in the exchange. However, they will purchase vacuums by the unit, rather than by weight so you can make out there. $1 per vacuum!

As long as nobody is in line, I can get in and out relatively quick, maybe 10 minutes. This morning there was a gentleman with a few different things and held me up about 20 minutes to have various things weighed, but I get it. Friendly staff, and they work hard! A+

As an electrical contractor I bring some copper wire but also lots of 'junk' like the aluminium frames from my old storm windows and even a brass water faucet. While you may not get rich it should help you feel good about taking care of the planet. I always keep a spot to store up my stuff to take to Foss.

Tara Francis: They have engineered the smartest scrap yard design yet, making it very easy to navigate by simply displaying actual arrows pointing to where they want you to go next! No confusion or constant questioning if I'm supposed to be where I'm currently standing. They maybe owned and operated by the same Wall Recycling in Raleigh but, they have totally different vibes: the lines are usually shorter, the prices are sometimes higher, they're lenient when it comes to wire pricing, but they will close early by a few minutes if nobody is in line, so go early!
