Frankie: We were in Raleigh N.C. for my wife's annual family reunion. The North Carolina Museum was one of the events on the weekend schedule for that day. It was our first time at this museum or in this area. Visiting this museum and being able to view and enjoy the artistry of Ruth E. Carter Exhibition. This was definitely one of the highlight of the weekend. This is a must see!!. This exhibition will be on display until August 6th 2023.
Greta: I visited close to ten years ago so I feel bad that I’m so late with a review lol but I must say it’s one of the best museums I’ve ever been to. Beautiful on the outside as well. A lot to see and enjoy. I would recommend everyone visiting to make a trip here.Visited on Weekday …More

Panowork.com魔鬼哥哥: The Gregg Museum of Art & Design is a weird and wonderful place that mixes the ancient and the modern. The museum started out in 1979 as a bunch of fabrics and fancy stuff, but it has grown to include all kinds of artworks from different times and places. The museum is spread out in several buildings, some of which are old and some of which are new. The difference between the buildings shows the variety of the museum's collections. But the museum doesn't have much room and can only show a small part of its stuff at once. The Gregg Museum of Art & Design is a jumble of past and present that lets you see how people like to make things look nice.
j w: i will go back to see more exibits, this museum is wonderful! easy parking also, employees very nice also.

lock smith: Great place.
Deniz Ender: Small museum but always some memorable art collection and/or items on display. Close proximity to cafes and clock tower makes this area a lovely spot to visit. Parking is available and free. Love the outdoor sitting area as well.
mary lazar: We had a wonderful time. Beautiful space and beautiful gardens and beautiful people there. It was wonderful to be in a place with like minded souls and fabulous art. I t was wonderful to spend the evening with those lovely people on a beautiful North Carolina night.
Conor Kelly: wonderful
AJ Fathi: The museum was decent and is worth visiting once. It also has a nice garden and a nice exterior since it used to be the Chancellor's mansion. Some of the items are interesting although the collection is small. It is for sure not the Louvre. I have seen better around America.
Stan One: Pretty nice museum, rather small but with a decent selection of modern art!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Andie Waugh: The space is very professional and allows the viewer to take in the artwork. There is a pretty courtyard outside as well.
hassan mousdi: Nice place to visit with family and kids no tickets needed
Terrance Hoey: Great little Museum, till the end of the year they have photos of the South series, a science of genetics gallery, and a whimsical animal gallery. The cost is free they ask for a donation. Not to be missed.
Teresa Vázquez: It is a museum closer to the concept of an art gallery. I went to two of the exhibitions. One about photography about the culture of the South of the United States and another about the combination of biotechnology and art. Very interesting.
Tiffany Andrews: The main exhibits now are by Christina Weisner. One focuses on the Ries Meteorite Impact Crater in Germany, 15 miles across and containing the entire city of Nordlingen, built before anyone understood that the great depression or bowl that nestles the city is actually a 14-million-year-old impact crater. Weisner also has an imaginative assembly of glass spheres, originally used to house underwater seismometers. These are connected to the United States Geologic Service's earthquake reporting website so that the spheres ring each time there is an earthquake anywhere on planet earth! Very interesting.
Tom Levitan: My first visit. Small museum but interesting visiting exhibitions.Currently a collection of contemporary southern photography. But for me, the collection of imaginary fauna from the Hokes Archives by Beauvais Lyons is wonderful.Free parking.
Zane Hepburn: A great little museum with a constantly changing collection. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. The free admission certainly sweetens the pot.
Tess Co: Intimate
JHers77: Small but good. Some neat exhibits. Front desk staff was lacking personality.

Marc Gerstein: A very nice art museum that is well worth stopping in if you are near the INC campus
Kerry Bartlett: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry FreeMore
ローラ: It's a great free art museum! While smaller, they keep things interesting with special exhibits and rotating their collection between on display and in storage.Being free of charge is great, though parking in Chapel Hill is becoming more and more of an issue, unless you live nearby or along one of the bus lines with more service. All the employees I've met have been nice, and I've enjoyed visiting over the past several years.
Matt: I fly around the world and love museums. This is one of the better curated museums I've been too.All ruined by the poor etiquette of both patrons and the staff carrying on with outdoor voices.
Panowork.com魔鬼哥哥: The museum is so tiny that you can barely breathe in each room. It feels like they forgot to turn on the AC or maybe they just don't care. The only visitors are some bored kids and old folks who have nothing better to do. The museum needs a makeover and some fun activities to spice things up. I heard it's run by the state government, which explains why it's so dull and lifeless. The staff are just collecting their paychecks and don't care about the museum's mission.
Tiffanie Lee: Price for adult entry FreeMore
Abbey Starks: Had a great experience, tons of great exhibits! All staff were informative and friendlyVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
