Eclectic Guy: The A-Team here is Craig who handled the sales and helped me find the right design to handle my storage needs at a reasonable price (esp considering what lumber costs these days), Cindy who handled every sort of post-sales coordination including making sure I had enough paint to finish the shed, giving me info about other features I might have overlooked and so on. She even worked w myself and Greg, the installer to relay info if we missed each other. And finally Greg and his partner, Joshua. You can tell these guys has put a LOT of these things up because they worked as a team to get a 12x12 building up in seven or so hours! The product is top notch. It comes as a kind of kit w each wall already put together. They build the metal base, level it w blocks, then on goes the floor, walls, roof and doors. Everything fits together perfectly. Love the heavy duty door hinges (NOT that piano hinge trash either) and a heavy duty lock/handle w spring-loaded bolts to hold the stationary half of the double doors in place. I also love the fact that it has a storage loft and a work bench! I was worried at first that since our backyard is fenced in and not very level that it would be a problem, but this company builds the shed on site and made it perfectly level using concrete blocks so it was no problem for them and turned out great. It's definitely high quality and professional construction at a good value with attractive details such as the trim along the corners of the shed. The people we dealt with in the office were very pleasant and helpful in choosing the proper shed for us and guiding us through the whole process and the man that came to build it was also very courteous and polite and respectful. Sandy Spooner: I recently hired Matt Curtiss to build a chicken coop and I was really impressed with the job he did. He arrived the morning he scheduled on time and got right to work.I ended up changing a few things right at the last minute but he took it all in stride. He did a great job on my coop and I was very satisfied. So were my 13 hens! He is very professional and fair in his pricing. He not only builds coops and sheds, but can build almost anything. I ended up having him do a few more projects for me after the coop and they came out great also.I would certainly recommend Curtiss Coops and Yardbarns and would use them again myself for any building project.
Robert Clare: Mr. Curtiss constructed a beautiful two-horse run-in for us with an adjacent tack room. The quality of the building is clearly the product of a Master Carpenter. Pascual Goicoechea: My wife and I required an entire back deck rebuild, and an expansion of same. We asked four contractors to visit our home and provide an estimate. Two contractors did not even show up, even though they made an appointment to do so. The third one showed up, but heard not a conceptual word of what we desired. As a result, (his) estimate for the work was $50K dollars.....plus.Sanity, experience, reasoning and a desire to work finally showed up on our home, in the form of Cardinal Buildings, LLC. Lawson, the owner, sat down with us, and for over an hour (we) discussed ideas on how best to accomplish the deck and design we wanted.....all with top grade wood support, and a top of the line composite decking. The deck, encompassing approximately a 20' X 20' area, with two (2) stairs leading down to a ground level, was completed in under a week. The reason it took a week was because we experienced two days of an artic freezing rain that rolled through the area. The carpenters Cardinal employs are skilled masters of their trade, and the crew present here for this build has worked alongside one another for over a decade.Being retired from a lengthy military career, it is very, very encouraging to come across nuggetts of excellence still prevalent in our Nation.
