Ray Prill: It was an absolute pleasure working with Tony and Paul for my re-roof job on my house. I'm very satisfied and can say the roof is doing the job as it has now survived a deluge and a small hail storm without any leaks or problems.Suretop's work crew clearly take pride in their work too. The flashing and counter-flashing on my chimney is literally a work of art. Looks great and works great. The shingle installation is top notch.Having lived in my house for over 30 years, I have a bit of experience with the process, having had a re-roof done in the 90s. Even though that roofer came highly recommended, I thought their work to be a little off. Turns out it was off, and 25 years later I paid for it with some leaks and flashing damage. During that 1997 install, the other company damaged a tubular skylight flashing and only "fixed" it instead of replacing it as they should have. The fix failed and caused further deck damage. Anyway, enough about that other guy, let's focus on Suretop.Paul and crew worked with me on those tubular skylight flashings, allowing me to obtain my own flashings and then working with me to have the crew install them on the roof, while I handled the attic work. There was no charge for this. Another company gave me grief about working with customer provided flashings and wanted to upsell me to their own tubular skylight system. Not Suretop, they simply worked with me.My roof also had some plywood decking rot which I could see from the attic. Once the deck was exposed, the crew evaluated and replaced a few sections. They did the exact correct amount required, not too little or too much. Harpreet Singh: Probably the worst ever after sales support. They did a great job in installing the roof. The project manager was great and he was at the site the whole time. The cleanup was good. But after the roof was done one skylight started leaking. Good thing that it rained 2 days after the roof was done. When I called the Van senior (owner) he just wouldn't own up to the damage. He was rude and was extremely opposite to when he came to make the sale. My point was you broke it, you fix it. They completely left me hanging. So now after paying ridiculous dollars for the roof, I am shopping for skylight and paying extra couple of thousand dollars. What a shame on their part. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We have serious water and termite damage on a part of our home, and needed to fix not only the James Hardie siding but also the issue of the water itself. They were able to get the siding replaced quickly and helped repair our gutter system and install a new gutter guard that has worked like a charm. Highly recommend this company.

Gretchen Chidester: Although I was originally happy with the work performed by CRS when they replaced our roof in August 2017, I rescind all recommendations. Unfortunately, the original individual we worked with has since left the company; those remaining are unprofessional, do not stand by their work, and do not care about customer service. Two years after having our roof repaired, we noticed a leak in the garage – as well as mold blooms on the ceiling related to this leak. I contacted CRS via email on 2/24/19 to have them evaluate this leak. After 1 month of unexplained no-shows, Van Starling visited our property and looked at the roof from the sidewalk an quickly diagnosed it as a "gutter problem" and not his problem - despite never actually getting on the roof. However, he said he could “do us a favor.” We had not had any gutter issues prior to the roof installation, nor had we had any work done on the roof or gutters in the past two years that would lead to a problem. Despite promising to fix this issue, Mr. Starling cancelled and/or missed several subsequent appointments without any advance notice. This pattern of behavior repeated for 2 months, until 5/20/19. On that day, Mr. Starling was scheduled to arrive to assess/fix the leak, and we were instructed that he would call one hour before arriving. At 9am, I emailed the office to confirm this appointment was still on the calendar, as I had not receive any communication from CRS for ~2 weeks (ie, no confirmation of appointment date/time after the email in which it was originally scheduled); I received an email from the office at 1:30pm reiterating that Mr. Starling would call before he and his crew headed to our location. When I had not heard back from Mr. Starling at 4:45pm, I called and expressed concern that he was going to be cancelling this appointment for the 5th time in 2 months. At 5pm, I received a call directly from Mr. Starling: he sounded offended that I had called to check whether he would be arriving rather than continuing to wait. Within seconds of being on the phone, he began raising his voice and interrupting me, telling me to “shut up, little lady” and shouting “I'm not going to argue with you, woman” – even as he admitted that there was no way he was going to make it to our place that day. During the “conversation” Mr. Starling shouted and talked over me. Finally, before abruptly hanging up on me on May 20th, Mr. Starling accused me of cancelling appointments multiple times and causing trouble; I have since sent him and his office a record of every time our messages had gone without a response and every time he had not shown up for a scheduled appointment. While I recognize that unexpected things happen, I was never given the courtesy of a cancellation. In fact, missed appointments were never acknowledged until I contacted the office to understand why I had not received a visit and ask when we could reschedule. Between 2/24/19 and 5/20/19, we did not cancel a single appointment, and were more than accommodating by rescheduling and making ourselves available on 5 separate occasions. However, because we refused to leave our property unlocked to allow CRS to come by and enter at their leisure without us present, we were considered to be “unreasonable” and to be “causing problems.” Mr. Starling’s unprofessional and frankly unacceptable behavior throughout this entire process – which culminated with him shouting at me on the phone, calling me derogatory names, and hanging up on me while I was speaking - has shown me that CRS does not care about honoring their so-called “worksmanship warranty” and that they do not stand by their work.

Brian Latchford: Van and his team were great to deal with. The communication was great from start to finish (from quoting our roof to finishing our roof). They did a great job cleaning up (I think we have only found 3 nails compared to over 100 at our last house when we had our roof replaced). CRS literally handled everything and it went very smooth! They even provided references in our area so we could look at their work ahead of time! Highly recommended!
