I took home what I didn't want to finish there - had it for lunch the next day - and held back a little from licking the Styrofoam when it was all gone. Corless Wilson: We ordered 2 fish & shrimp plates with potatoes salad greens string beans the other with coe slaw salad of potatoes salad. And baby back ribs with potatoes salad and mixed greens with cabbage. It was our first time visiting this place. However the ribs I had were not baby back ribs. My husband has been an meat cutter for over thirty years. He said there is no way these ribs are baby back. And their food was expensive compared to the taste. It was clean and closing time. All the food was too salty and none of us could finish our plate. And we were hungry. It was too salty. The restaurant pride themselves off of soul food but the truth about I couldn't taste the soul in the food only salt I. But again if the restaurant business was not too time consuming I would open up my own restaurant l. Because I can cook waaaay better ribs than that. And the potato salad tasted like it was brought from the food lion. Only thing decent was the corn bread. Sorry I wish I could have given this a better review but it is what it is. And it wasn't good. My husband was very upset because he loves soul food.

PHILLIP DEAN: So this place is very impressive. The food taste amazing the smell from the parking lot lured me in when I got inside. I was not let down all the food on the tables as I was ordering mine looked amazing. I chose a big double cheeseburger. It was superb and delicious, you can tell they use top quality ingredients with a little bit of southern love creates a fantastic taste. I will definitely return.Parking: Big open parking lot. For around $14 (plus tip), my colleague was served an absolutely delectable chicken and waffle sandwich - a sandwich he described as a trip highlight. The staff put plenty of napkins in my bag.Everything about the collards was all wrong. The collards were semi-steamed and still a bit crunchy. There was no seasoning whatsoever. The collards were drenched in an unhealthy amount of vinegar. I would suggest someone taste these before serving because I'm not sure who these were palatable for because they weren't prepared for consumption AT ALL.I observed customers looking like they were enjoying other options from the menu. I say, stay away from the collards.
