Mad Science of the Triangle: what do users think?
Nick and Rebecca H: We had a phenomenal party for our 4 & 6 year olds plus a group of their friends. The scientist was so engaging and made the entire group excited and focused. They absolutely loved every aspect of it!The team made it so simple and easy as well, which took things off our plate so we could focus on other aspects of the party. We would highly recommend having them for a party!
Laura Oestreicher Ricon: Dr. Paula was so much fun and the kids had a blast. Very engaging and interesting experiments. Thank you!!
Jeff Gonder: We were blown away by our Mad Science experience! Our scientist was phenomenal from performance to knowledge to engagement, she knocked it out of the park!
Simona Peppers: This is a GREAT place for a birthday party. We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday here and it was so much fun. The staff and the scientist were great with the kids. The party was full of laughter and huge smiles!
Alicia N Shepherd (Nikki): My daughter participates in the after school program. She loves it, especially the take homes! She is so excited to tell be about what she has learned. She even wanted to have her birthday at Mad Science to show hey friends and family.
Jennifer Cervero: We hosted our son's 9th birthday party at Mad Science in Cary and it was amazing! We had the Young Chemist party with a Cotton Candy finale add-on and from the moment the event started to the end, the kids were engaged and having so much fun. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience, certainly worth every penny.
Michael Gorgel: Best birthday party to be honest. The mad scientist was entertaining the kids while making them laugh and teaching them!
Kellie Tasselli: We had the best time at our son’s 6th birthday party. Our scientist was fantastic and both kids and parents has a wonderful time. He also did a great job with a wide range of kids (shy, excited, etc) and made it fun for everyone.
Josh Kelley: We had an amazing bday party for our 5 yr old! The sounds of joy that came out of the room can't be replicated...combine that with the foundations for a love of science equals a win all around! I'd recommend to ANYONE!
Rachel Hencher: Hands down the best birthday party we’ve ever had! We had kids ranging from 5-9 years old in the group and every single one was engaged and laughing through the entire event (as were the adults)! We do a lot of “backyard science” at home, but nearly everything our scientist did was something new & exciting. The space is nicely decorated as is and it was so easy to just show up with cupcakes and not worry about decor, plates, napkins, etc. 10/10 would recommend this place!
Emily Harper: We had a wonderful experience with Mad Science of the Triangle birthday party in our home! The scientists kept the kids engaged, learning, and laughing the whole hour! It was perfect for a class of 7 year olds. Definitely recommend!
Kimberly Spach: We celebrated our daughter’s 11th birthday at Mad Science of the Triangle in Cary. We only had to bring the cupcakes and the drinks. The kids all had a wonderful time. The activities were fun and educational. The take away forever snow was a fun activity that all of the kids enjoyed. We had 19 kids ranging from 6-12. All of them were engaged and delighted with the party’s activities.
Nikki Evans: My daughter did this with her elementary school and she loved when it was Wednesday and she was going to Mad Science. She is excited to do it again in the spring. She loved everything she learned and the take home gift. This was such a great opportunity and even considering this for her upcoming birthday.
Stephanie Warner: My son had his 5th birthday party here. The scientist did a decent job of keeping their attention but was a bit cold with redirecting the kids and rough around the edges at times. He would probably work better with older kids that have the ability to sit still for longer periods of times and contain their excitement a little better. I was also not very happy with the cleanliness of the place. The carpets were extremely dirty, the lab coats were worn, and the play area didn't look like it had been cleaned for a while (evident by the dead bug on the floor). The kids had fun but I've been more impressed with other places.
Marcela Sciaccaluga: We celebrated our son's 8th birthday at the Mad Science lab and it was AMAZING. We knew it because he had done some camps there and we knew he would have fun. His friends were impressed and had so much fun. Thanks!
Grace Lee: Do not bring your child here if your child is quiet or shy. The facilitator singled my child out for being shy, and he refused to let my child participate in the activities until I was able to step in and advocate for my child. Very shocking and disturbing to witness this as a parent. Strongly do not recommend this venue.
Sylvia Landis: After searching for a way to give my daugher a Chemistry Themed birthday party I came across Mad Science and I am so glad I did. My daughter had an amazing 10th birthday party here. The scientist was wonderful, engaging and made an already fun experience even more fun. I also appreciated the lounge space for the adults that stayed while the kids participated. It was fun for all of us. Highly recommend!
Ocean: My daughter, her friends and families enjoyed the birthday. We had a great experience!
Amorie Parker: My son had his 8th birthday party here at Mad Science and all I can say is that is was hands down the best birthday experience! We had Jo Sessor as the lead scientist who did all the experiments with the kids and he was amazing! The kids were not only engaged, but learned a lot at the same time. The experience was interactive, hands-on, and fun! The kids laughed and had such a good time. I would highly recommend Mad Science for a birthday party for your child!
Laura Bowers: Great experience and the kids thought our scientist was funny.
Eeman Shaikh: We had a wonderful birthday party (jr space theme) at our home for 5 years old. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed and had a blast!

SportHQ: what do users think?
Margot Sue Mahannah: While this wasn't a good fit for my kids, it's clear that the owner has the kids' best intentions at heart and is willing to discuss concerns with parents.
Mohamed Said: It’s great place for sports 🏀 ⚽️
Jim Hallenbeck: I met Eric Johnson about 8 years ago when he trained at Core Results. In my 60s while working with Eric (after never weight training) I have achieved a 285 back squat and 310 lb deadlift - his skill and expertise is unmatched. In October 2022 I fractured 5 ribs playing softball and we reconnected when Eric became co-owner of Sports HQ. We’re ramping up but most important is the improvement in my physical health.I have lost 16 pounds this year. I received an excellent report on my annual physical in April including my best ever HDL/LDL scores. Eric is the absolute best and just a good person to boot. We set realistic goals and work hard to achieve them. Eric is also very knowledgeable regarding nutrition. I’m very fortunate to have met Eric and I look forward to get stronger and healthy physically and mentally. Thank you Eric!
PALG 20: Had an absolute blast playing here.
Ben Smith: The General Manager of Sport HQ is incredible. I just had my kids at their camp, and they thoroughly enjoyed their time. I would highly recommend this facility for sports training, and school camps.
Kunal Parikh: Kids friendly activities
Charles Lawley (Transit and Level Clinic): Thank you for hosting Premier School of Dance!
Ryan Stone: I’m not sure I can articulate properly how wonderful my experience has been with Eric and his company. I set out on my health/fitness journey about a year ago and struggled to find the right fit for me. A good friend of mine recommended Eric to me and I couldn’t be happier. His professionalism and kindness is hard to come by these days. He has motivated me beyond belief to push myself to be the best version I can be. His ability to work with you, your setbacks and strengths is incredible. In the last 3 months the transformation I have had has been amazing and it’s more of a sustainable life style change then a quick weight loss journey. He guides me threw my workouts, makes nutrition recommendations based on my training. Eric also texts me every day to check in and give me my workout plan for the days we don’t train together. I can’t say enough good things about him and his organizations and feel anyone would be lucky to work with him!
Richa Roy: Initially we had a hard time to find the place though the arena and equipment are good and my kid enjoys it there.
Ryan Giles: Great open gym for the boys to play on Sundays at 1030.
Leon Xia: We hosted my son’s birthday party at SportsHQ. Marcus was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the event. Kids had a great time and…. No one wanted to leave. Thank you Marcus!
Vickie Daniel: I love working out with Eric. I had surgery on my foot and could not do regular exercise classes. He was able to work around my foot pain, and still get my heart rate up to where I felt like I had worked out. The workouts are never the same, lots of variety. Working out with Eric has helped me keep my weight from going up with the limited mobility problem with m my foot. I would highly recommend him. I also feel I have gotten stronger. He gently pushes me to do things I would not do on my own. Eric is also very knowledgeable about nutrition and sleep. He has helped me with those too. I would say exercising with Eric would be a great choice.
Jorge Ortega: Fair price, small fields, they are more 5v5 adult maybe 6v6 but tight, use a futsal ball for better play on this field. Staff has always been cordial
Kelly Johnson: Eric Johnson is the best trainer in the Cary and Raleigh area!! He is professional, friendly, dedicated to helping others and a great people person. His workouts are both fun and challenging, which I like! He customizes workouts to individual needs and desires to what body parts they would like to target and work on. I would DEFINITELY recommend Eric if you are looking for a personal trainer!!
N J: Eric Johnson is an amazing personal trainer! He is very patient, knowledgeable, friendly, kind hearted, very personable and such a pleasure to work with! He does a great job at personalizing his workouts for each of his clients and also provides modifications if needed! The BEST personal trainer in Cary and Raleigh! I highly recommend him!
Paul Zen: Poorly run facility. Recommend new general manager because the current one is not concerned about customer service. His staff is nice but just poorly managed. We tried to schedule events with this facility and they either don’t follow up with you or sting you along for days.
Vidhya Vinod: Great for Volleyball, good seating and staff is courteous and helpful
Josh Kinlaw: I played basketball here a couple of times. Floors were clean and the owner was nice. The only downside is that the base of the basketball goal sits on the floor which gets in the way when driving hard to the hoop. I tripped over them a couple of times.
T Bullett: Friendly staff! Nice facility! A+
Ron Ateshian: Not just for soccer. Good for lacrosse with enclosed fields and workouts for the boys. Very accommodating staff.
Chuck Johnson: Great facility, AND STAFF..

The Organized Mind Track Out Camp: what do users think?
Anamaria Cornes: My two boys have never been more excited and happy in camps the had great experience here in the past two weeks of their t/o. The staff communication is excellent and they even tutor kids with life lessons. They show passion and true care for kids. Lots of fun trips!!!
Dreamy Eyez: The organized Minds is a great place with great leaders. I notice them on the playground.Somedays it’s always two adults watching over the kids as it is little children that attend as well causing no harm. So for the lady that made comments about this company being on the playground its so untrue. I’m out there with my child and has never been a issue. Everyone has a right to the Apex Park. 😘
Shayla M: I have been to the playground at Apex Community Park on three different afternoons and each time around 5pm a group of older, poorly behaved middle school aged kids are let loose in the playground area making it unpleasant and unsafe for the toddlers and preschoolers, groups the park is intended for. Considering the plethora of other options available at this park for older age group it seems extremely lazy and inappropriate for the owner (who isn't even watching or in the playground area at all the majority of the time) to choose to do this. The unfriendly owner has informed me that this is indeed a daily activity, weather permitting. Very unfortunate to make this space virtually unusable for anyone else.Edit:Hi Vince,As a former middle and high school special education teacher, I am very familiar with the types of behaviors that would be typical for children with disabilities. Unfortunately those are not the types of behaviors that your campers are engaging in, nor are their behaviors compatible with those of young children trying to use the playground as intended.I would encourage you to watch what goes on so you have a better idea of why the playground clears out so quickly - plenty of young children are there at 5pm trying to play when your bus arrives.
elaine atherton: My daughter loved her experience for a week of her most recent track out. I have struggled to find a good camp that doesn’t put a really wide range of age groups together. The mix of ages she engaged with were appropriate for her current age (10) and the field trips made her excited to come each day. She said there was just the right amount of kids at the camp. The staff is also very communicative.
Jillian Goldstein: Wow, what a great option for older kids! You get to learn a life/school skill, go on a field trip, do fun activities, and have free time with other kids around your age. Oh and there are a couple of live animals to interact with as well! The owners and staff are amazing! They make everyone feel supported, and even cater to individual needs and interests. Wish I would have given them a go sooner. Will keep coming back for sure! Thank you so much to the TOM staff for all of the time, effort, and care you put in. Special shout out to Vince! :-)
Lauren C: My 12yo daughter was not happy to be the oldest child at the Y camp. I found Organized Mind and she loved it! She is bright and quirky and fit right in! The owners are understanding, accommodating and run it very well with a variety of activities. We will be back!
Sarah Fenik: My 11 yr old daughter just finished one week of a track out camp here, and she gave it 5 stars! It was just the right amount of structure and freedom to make it not feel like school, to use some of those critical thinking skills, all the while having daily fun outdoor/activity time. This can be a tough age to find a right fit, but we are so thankful we tried and look forward to going again during our next track-out. :)
Jie V: This camp is great. The owner Vincent is really awesome. My two daughters went to the camp this summer. The older one is 12 and she is always shy and does not like to talk in the group. After being there for one month and half, she is changing. She started to express her opinion and talk to others. I asked her what make you changed. Is the camp or the swimming or some books? she told me because the CAMP. She told me that she feel happy to be in the camp and is happy to talk to Vincent. My younger one told me she feel she does not get angry so easily now because the camp taught her to calm down. I usually don't write reviews. But for this camp, I am motivated to write the review. Everything I wrote is true. We are planning to go back to the camp next summer. This is not just a camp, they made my kids happy and made my kids more social. I really appreciate this camp. Thank you.
Meghaan Hampton: Our son really enjoyed camp at The Organized Mind. He is “aging out” of typical track out camps, but not yet able to keep himself actively entertained when not in school. The lessons taught were relevant and the afternoon activities got him moving! We will definitely be choosing TOM again in the future.
Rachel Davis (klix): My 12 yo son had a great 2 weeks at Organized Mind. He didn't complain once. He normally complains about being bullied and no one helping him with any issues he has. At Organized Mind, he was given guided in how to get along with other kids. He also enjoyed all the outings and learned some new things. We will definitely return for track outs.
Sam Duckworth: My son really enjoyed being at TOM this week! We’ve been looking for track out options that are geared more toward the older elementary kids and this camp fits that well. Lots of variety in activity and my son seems really engaged (and tired when he gets home).
Margaret Sylivant: My son loved this track out camp. We will definitely be signing up again.
Suzanna Cary: My son had a blast at the organized mind. The staff is very attentive. They do a lot of different things to keep the children engaged. I would def recommend.
Mei Liu: Obviously this place has some magic power! This is the first time that my son wanted to go to the camp eagerly every morning, and looking forward to seeing everyone again and again... Love the idea that they keep the group size small, you will learn and have fun every day. I'm already planning to register him to next year's track out camp.
Sue Scott: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy daughter loved the camp. She enjoyed the field trips everyday, learning new skills and trying to beat others in chess. The staff is wonderful and provide an update on the how the day went upon pick up, which I love. We plan to go back for teacher work days and our next track out in January.
Erin Stewart: We tried The Organized Mind for the first time during the most recent trackout. My 12 year old absolutely loved it! It's the perfect camp for kids who think they're too old for trackout camp. Vince and Jane are great with the kids, very patient and understanding. The activities are great - museums, parks, cat cafe. They worked on a different skill each day - communication, stress management, keeping an agenda, keeping backpack organized, which were all very helpful. Overall it was a great week and we will definitely be back!
Brandi Swope: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy children went only for a week to try it out and they kept asking to go back. Thank you for providing a caring environment and working/playing with them.
Margot Bennett: Vincent provided personal feedback after every day my son was at camp, this made is so much better than a typical "camp" where it's a large group and you pick up your child and go. It was a small group of campers, they did a huge variety of field trips and learning experiences and Vincent and his wife had such valuable tools to help the kids collaberate with each other and be confident. Really appreciate learning of this camp!
Amy Killoran: We sent our boys here last year as a remote learning center when school was virtual. Vince and Janet care so much about them, communicate well, and gave them all the extras we couldn’t throughout the day, like teaching organization skills, tutoring (both are former WCPSS teachers), and taking them to local parks for fresh air. We highly recommend their track out camps and after school programs as we wouldn’t have gotten through the pandemic school year without them!!
Suzanne Willams: Positive:CommunicationThe educators here are professional and courteous. They communicated with me daily and supported my child’s academic curriculum. The camps are full of engaging activities!
Carla Gregg-Kearns: Great staff and very attentive to individual needs of students.
