Love Bao Taiwanese Kitchen: what do users think?
Lesyk Konecky: Id give this place a solid 8.5/10. The bao buns are super good, the fires are freaking great. It’s just that they go really light on the meat for the pork ones and a bit heavy on the kimchi. The kimchi just covers up a lot of that delicious fluffy umami going on and makes it almost too fresh.
Emily Jimenez: Hard to get a seat in this area when it’s busy busy but you won’t regret it. The crispy pork belly and rice platter is my favorite but we’ve loved everything we’ve had here.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chieh-I Chen: Ordered the Taiwanese bentos (popcorn chicken and braised tofu), fish burger and aiyu lemon drink for take out during a quick visit to NC. The service was efficient. Everything was delicious/authentic! Not much else to ask for :)Vegetarian options: Braised tofu was amazing
LINDA CHEN: Their food was good 👍 and it was next to a grocery shopFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Shinobaby Shrimp: Love Bao in Hmart! The pork belly buns are 5 stars! The pork and chicken over rice were pretty good too, love the service, fast and friendly. Support Taiwanese food ‼️💖
Pei Ho: The best Taiwanese meals you can get in this area! The portion and taste will WOW you. Highly recommend the crispy pork and fried chicken.
Lucien Lopez: this spot was in H-Mart!i should have gotten a rice plate but I was extremely hungry so I ended up letting my eyes decide what to order.i got the mega chicken filet, and an order of their sweet potato fries with plum powder.both were very good, and reasonable price for the amount recieved :) the edges of the chicken filet were nice and crispy, and it was super hot. near the middle the breading separated from the chicken a bit but it was okay because the chicken was fully cooked even though it was thick and it was still juicy. I wish there was a creamy sauce to dip the potatoes in, but the hot sauce I got was very good and it convinced my girlfriend to eat some of the chicken! she's very picky so this is a high compliment.she ordered some bao for the road, a pork belly and lean pork with kimchi. I wasn't too fond of the pork belly texture but the flavor was very good and made up for the toughness. the lean pork bao was good with the kimchi even when we ate it cold later that night!overall, i recommend it!
Shiqin Tang: Best and most authentic Taiwanese food you can find!
Joseph Chu: Authentic Taiwanese food! Very filling and delicious rice plates, portion sizes are very large.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Braised Pork, Rice Plate, Popcorn Chicken Rice Plate, Braised Pork over Rice, Original Pork Belly Gua Bao, Mega Chicken Fillet Rice Plate Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Alexander Huang: This is one of the few “Taiwanese” restaurants in this area that actually serves authentic, delicious Taiwanese cuisine. Super bonus points for having many vegan options including the soy steak and konjac pork belly which are both delicious. My wife also enjoyed the huge chicken cutlet.
Raymond Teong: This place is a hidden gem! Highly recommend getting the Lu Rou Fan or Braised Pork Belly over rice. You won’t regret it!Recommended dishes Braised Lean Pork Rice Plate, Braised Pork …More

Robert Heinz: Very good. My Wife and I both enjoyed eating here. Man who took our order informed me they were out of the Crispy Fish I wanted but he quickly offered an alternative, the Crispy Chicken. He saved the sale and it was delicious. We will be back.
Ashley Robertson: In a very busy food court inside H-Mart. It was difficult to find seating but the food was tasty.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Braised Pork, Popcorn Chicken Rice Plate …More
Naterson: We’ve been coming here for awhile, but was quite disappointed in the changes to the popcorn chicken today. Instead of crispy pcs of lightly coated chicken, they’re now doughy balls surrounding a small bit of meat. Taste is ok, but chewy instead of crispy, and more dough than chicken. Downgrade in quality for sure.
Kendall Lee: Recommended dishes Crispy Pork Belly Rice Plate and Crispy Pork Belly Gua BaoMore
Belle Cheng: Best Bao I have ever had in US. 😄👍
Jamie P.: Absolutely love the deep fried king mushrooms here, this time I got the vegetarian pork belly bao instead - I think the bun might have dairy in it. It was actually really good! Loved the pickled vegetables and peanut topping. You definitely need to eat something with it though bc it's not filling enough to be a mealFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Angela Pascua: Yum yum yum! Their pork belly bao is delicious! The relish they put is so sweet but savory!
Quentin Spinks: Love the Pork Gia Bao! ❤️

Andrea Wilson: We've been here a view times and always liked the food and service. Today we had soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, cumin lamb and dry seasoned green beans. Everything tasted fantastic. For us this is the best Chinese food around but they do not have lunch specials, which, if the food is this good, is not a problem.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
artimanar: Went with four adults and three kids - ages 5-9. There is a very utilitarian ambiance - and having eaten at enough Chinese places, we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves. It has an extensive menu with mouth watering dishes. For the kids - go with griddle chicken- it comes with potatoes. Our kids loved it along with plain lo mein. We had a number of dishes - the lo mein was great along with scallion pancakes, cumin lamb among others. The major disappointment was the eggplant in garlic sauce. Too sweet from our tastes. Give that a miss. Bottomline - solid food, fast service, and great food. Will certainly visit again. Recommended.
Xiaorong Li: We went to this place many times! Each time, we ordered the same food, because we never became tired of it. Good service; Serves pretty quick; Food is delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chinese Food, Soup Dumplings …More
Sean SUNG: The beef noddle was not authentic at all. If you don’t serve what the dish name is, don’t name it that way. The waiter gave the wrong recommendation.🤷🏻‍♂️Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Nicholas: Since last week, the food is pretty good here but one of servers’ attitude is pretty bad. She is definitely not good at serving people with respect and ruined our family unions. The young lady seems new here(never seen before) with own strange personalities and accents causing everyone sitting here very uncomfortable. What she said and behaved treats herself as boss or god and guests as beggar. Her ridicule and cynicism are memorable. Though food is okay, I will never stop by this restaurant until service quality is improved.
G B: Authentic Chinese food! I know people say this, but my wife is from Guangzhou China and raves about it. It’s always packed with Chinese and other Asian customers, probably 20-1 Asian to American ratio, so you know it’s good.

Ed H: This is a great choice for authentic Chinese cuisine. I was there for lunch and they had a typical selection of lunch specials and the portions were great. The food was cooked and presented wonderfully. I really enjoyed the taste, nice and spicy and fresh. The service was fast and polite. As with most places in downtown Cary plan on parking in one of the parking lots found close by as parking on site is tight.
Bob Tai: Walnut shrimp is good. Garlic fried ribs good flavor but need more garlic but that is just my preference. Salt and pepper dishes worth trying 🤤scallion pancakes + beef is just with sweet oyster sauce. Wish they would add more scallion.

Shinya A: This is an authentic Chinese food restaurant. They have such a variety of dishes that are so delicious and full of flavor. I always leave full when I eat here. It does get crowded during dinner hours and parking in their main lot can be difficult since it is shared with other businesses. But if you are willing to walk a block or two, then parking isn't an issue.

Taipei Cafe: what do users think?
rebeccaelem: Excellent authentic food in a comfortable and low-key little restaurant. The authentic Chinese menu is available in English on request. Our favorites are the 3 pepper chicken (spicy) and the black vinegar fish (not spicy, mildly sweet). This is one of our favorite places and we eat here almost every week.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Joanna C.: Really rude serving attitude, table was dirty and sticky. No meat at all in meat rice bowl, definitely not coming back again and not recommend.Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
W D: The experience is terrible today. We waited over 40 mins to get our food. The bok choy took over 1 hour. With such terrible experience and the contemptuous look after requesting another bowl of rice, we still need to pay 18% mandatory tip. In addition, I am concern about the food safety of the restaurant since I saw a dead roach lied on the restroom floor. Some of my friends told me that they had good experience before, but I do not what is wrong today.
Russell Villard: Friendly. Efficient. Nice little sitting area. Usually so busy, it's hard to get a meal sometimes, but it's worth it.Vegetarian options: PlentyDietary restrictions: Plenty
Louis Pinault: This is it. The authentic down home Chinese cuisine. You're not paying for decor, pretty menus, etc. It's all about the food. It's not region specific but it is the real deal. Just go get some.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes General TSO’S Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, Beef Noodle Soup, Pan Fried Dumplings 鍋貼, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Spicy Beef and Tendon, Beef Hot Pot, Twice Cooked Pork …More

Craig ok: Best Chinese in the area.I have ordered from here at least 10 times and it’s always been great and healthy (compared to other Chinese restaurants - less oil, better quality, etc.) Employees are always nice and the inside is clean.
Jenn Shue: Excellent service and food. We love the 红烧狮子头,椒麻鸡丁, 夫妻肺片, 北京鸭
Allan Z: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
ZC Xiao: the most authentic Chinese food made with the finest ingredients across the entire triangle.
Jill Tao: I have been ordering peiking duck for years from Taipei Cafe and it has been good. But yesterday, it was a huge disappointment— the duck was hard and dry, tasteless; the sauce was very watery; the bings were stuck together, too thick and hard, we could not tear them apart without damage them, and the price was increased too! I suspect they might have changed the owners? Anyway, stay away my friends! I am not going back myself….
Silvia Ying: Very, Very consistent quality Chinese food in North Carolina. Fair priced. As an international student from China, Taipei Cafe has became my second dining room in Raleigh. It has the MOST FAIR PRICED Peking Duck, as well as other dishes. I have not had a single dish that is disappointing unlike many other restaurants. Usually Chinese restaurants have their chief coming from a certain part of China which they cannot make good food of other part of China, but Taipei Cafe sticked to what they are good at!If you enjoy real Chinese food, come here. It is the best in Raleigh. It will not break your bank either
Manley Finch: Chicken w green beans was ALL green beans and brown sauce. Green bean had been cooked in a deep fryer so the WHOLE order was greasy and tasted like fried food. Not impressed. It was over 23 dollars for one order and a greasy egg roll.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Stacy Barton: 歪打误撞进入餐厅,本来以为是小外卖店,结果居然有好吃😋的~
Tammie Murray: In comparison to the chinese food up north this was below average. Not flavorful at all.Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Diadra Cooley: Stopped in for a quick bite, very impressed with their vegetarian options. Can't wait to go back! This time we tried Yellow Bird (very good) and fried tofu with Chinese broccoli (good)
Haoyu Wang: 菜挺好吃的但是老板娘你凭什么这么屌啊?
Janet Gainey: Super happy with our first visit here! Hubby and I both ordered egg drop soup and an egg roll each, then shared a Sweet & Sour chicken with white rice entry…yummy! Small (about 8 tables with mixed numbers of seating available….there was a group of 8 at one table), cozy and really clean. We’ll be back!
Grateful Maple Nursery: Great food, defiantly a cut above the cookie cutter Chinese places everywhere.
Jinhang: My new favorite Chinese restaurant in North Carolina. 3 cups Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, and salt and pepper fish with salted duck egg yolk.
Kazi Sadat: Ordered BBQ beef with onion but it was only sizzling beef with onion and food served after my family finished their lunch! lastly forced charged for tips with bill.Owner/employee behavior not friendly. Not going there anymore.
