Alaina is great at multiple modalities and tailors to what you need. She also does TMJ massage which I didn’t know was a thing and am so grateful for her knowledge and expertise.

I realize that we are grateful to live in a country with religious freedom and free enterprise. Equally, God gave us freewiil and made us all perfectly different. I also respect other's religious preferences but I'm glad that the owner's of Cary Massage choose to let it be known who their King is and I will continue to do the same. You never know when your witnessing, in whatever form, may cause someone to turn to Christ and experience the unequalled, amazing, unconditional love He has for ALL. Sure, this business decision could turn some people away, but in the end when this world ceases to exist as we know, God will say "Well done, my faithful child. You did not deny me." It's beautiful that we live in a place where we have religious freedom and if someone chooses to go elsewhere because of the Christian decor, that's okay too. Cary Massage will continue to thrive because God promises victory to His children. I do have complete respect for other cultures and religious beliefs. I continue to patronize a nail salon that has a temple set up for their god and displays Buddha throughout the salon. That is their choice, just like I could choose to go elsewhere.) I was honest about MAYBE being pregnant (less than 4 weeks if so) and my appointment was denied in person, after budgeting, paying, and scheduling time off to have a massage with my mom for our birthdays. I was offered a refund or credit, but I opted for refund because I’ll be trying to get pregnant and will have to wait an additional 2 months before I can use their service if so. Please put this on your site/during the appointment making process for clients. I was very excited for this due to the reviews and even though it was handled decently in person, I really wish I hadn’t spent the time or money in the first place.

My therapist seemed timid to work on the areas that are knotted up. So I left not much better than when I walked in after 90 minutes earlier. I did not get a sense or feeling of "Thai massage " :/

Amanda is knowledgeable about numerous health topics, always has great advice to offer if there are any specific health issues needing attention. She uses aromatic oils suited to each person or health condition .. for example i once went to her when i had a bad backache & came out feeling rejuvenated. Ive always felt pampered there & its such a friendly place, a treat in itself. I wish i could go more often. My husband found this place when I was pregnant & with severe carpal tunnel pain. From then on, Ive never gone anywhere else. I dont think anyone else could take that good care of me. Highly Recommended!!

She found the tight muscle that I had had for about six months and after a 30 min. session the pain was completely gone and has not come back.The second time was when I was having severe lower back pain from strained muscles. Aftet a one hour session, the pain was much relieved and the right side no longer hurt. The left side was in much worse condition but was much better when she finished. She was able to find the tight muscles and out of place bones and treat them accordingly which gave me much relief.I would highly recommend Mary. She listens carefully to concerns and knows exactly what to do.

Her technique is not like a lot of "typical" massages that use lots of pressure and hurt--it doesn't hurt at all. She has options for aromatherapy and hot stones as well (I highly recommend the hot stones!). When you're done, you feel better as soon as you get off the table. You can feel how relaxed your body is and how much your mobility has improved. I always book an appointment before a dance competition when I need to be moving at my best.
