Jordan Lake State Recreation Area Visitor Center: what do users think?
Ron Morrison: Great place to picnic and take your dog. From what I read they protect the water they are from any Industrial Waste so it's cleaner than most of the lakes of the area. I can also ride my dog loved it
Laura McNeill: Great info and displays. Maps of Jordan Lake available
Jerry D: Wooded roomy site
Jen Gad: Totally love this State Park! We paid $60 for a year long parking permit. Definitely worth it, because otherwise the cost is $7 per day. Also, this annual parking permit works at Kerr Lake and Falls Lake. At Jordan Lake, there are many beaches to choose from, with opportunities for camping and fishing as well. People also grill and picnic throughout the recreation area. At Jordan Lake, there are 27,000+ acres of woods, recreation area/trails and the 13,000 acre lake!
Edward William: Beautiful lake
Robert Avina: Was at B.everet dam today on 5/20/23 with my wife and grand daughter for a day of fishing and when we arrived the bearings on our boat trailer shattered didn't know what to do ( no jack ) John the park ranger or core employee went above and beyond to assist us he was a godsend can't say enough
Orion Pax: This was my third time camping here. Probably one of my favorite camping trips of all time. I have friends that I now camp with and we look forward to such adventurous every six weeks or so. So glad there's many more to come. The extra bonus is while this is wilderness for us to camp at, it is not so far away that my family does not have to miss any weekend appointments they have scheduled. (My son has martial arts and was able to attend. We left in just returned back to the campsite) if you are thinking of camping this is definitely the place!
Pascal Monmoine: ... while on a tender walk at Jordan Lake I was gifted the great visual joys and deep soulfulness of that magical field of flowers 3Sooooo much love and beauty and wonderment all around us... everywhere we go on our magical planet ! 3With lots of love to YOU 3pascal
Dan Kout: Too far to go frequently. Nice camping spot though.
William West: Beautiful lake. Lots of bald eagles and deep reservoir!
Joy Tveila: Absolutely beautiful. So disappointed though because most of the park was closed and blocked off.
Julia Costigan: Beautiful, peaceful, and easy access!!
Thomas Briley: Great place to get info about the lake! Office staff is super friendly and the Rangers are super helpful!
Cheryl L. Conner: A hidden gem. Pristine lake system, with endless undeveloped shores. Options to beach, hike and boat. Staff at visitor center were super. Great exhibit at the Visitor Center as well. Will definitely return.
Chris Evich: Really nice staff, excellent facilities, great, up to date online info.
Jim McMichael: Great park. Staff easy to work with. Our spot(#9) was awesome! Neighbors are a good distance away, lots of privacy. Easy walk to the lake. Will go back if in the area!
DeMario Terry: Have not had one bad experience yet, so it's all good!
Ataide Jacques: cigarettes butt are also trash please don’t litter
Michael Torbert: The employee encountered was rude with a condescending attitude. She’s a terrible representative of her employer, and makes me regret the trip out here.
SupremeKai: Horrible park. All hiking trails you have to pay for. Nature should be free not for sale. Ridiculous. Im still mad about it. Also, all patches and pins( park merchandise) are non existant here.
Gerri Harper: Great place to camp and fish!

UNC Visitors Center: what do users think?
Panowork.com魔鬼哥哥: I don't know about you, but I find this town very dull. There are only a few streets to walk around, and they all look the same. The restaurants are not my favorite either. They are expensive and not tasty, and they make me feel like a stuffed turkey. What I worry about is obesity. How can I stay fit in this place? The only thing that seems interesting is the UNC Visitors Center, where they provide some information about the university. But that's only for newcomers who are curious. Those who live here for a long time feel boring and bored. I wish I could move to a more exciting place, like Mars or something.
Kristee Chinn: The icu waiting room we sat in for 3 days never got cleaned. Floor was sticky from what I assum was a soda spill. Staff that helped my aunt was amazing!
Hope Nelson: Great Experience For My UNC Hubby!
streamless boundary: Not open when students are on break. Probably for the best. It looks lightly stocked through the window. This is pretty typical for most universities. UNC has been here for over 200 years so it seems pretty unlikely to change at this point. Recommend the chapel hill visitors center. Better hours and good information.
Kevin Finch: Friendly people, busy place
David Watson: It's Tar Heel country
mc: Dope
Dan: Only open Mon-Fri 10:00-2:00. Not convenient or accommodating for visiting families and potential students. Can't really rate it because we arrived literally at 2:01.
The Magic Scot: We visited during the Covid time zone, albiet in April, 2021. It was nice to just walk around the campus.
Luke Render: Not much to write home about. It's nice there.
Crystal Thompson: Even though the actual center was closed, I was able to pick up some fliers and events 📅 for some cool upcoming events. I will visit again when it is open.
kathy hawkins mclain: My son and I enjoyed our visit looks like they have great bus line for students
Margie Murphy: Cafe is like gourmet dining great healthy food that taste good! Yummy
Massimo Amato: It could be a possible univ for my children
Robert Soler: Awesome place to visit!
Temo Tarrago: Temporary location. Friendly staff. No parking.
chris orndorff: Terrible no one there for 11am tour, but at least we got a map
joann Reynolds: Cool program and comfortable seats!
Richard Stoner Jr: In the process of moving to a new location on campus. Had to meet our guide there for a tour for a potential admission to graduate school. Our tour guide Daniel Dinkins was excellent. He was super nice, knowledgeable and you could tell this wasn't his first rodeo. Luckily for my sons girlfriend he was and education major and gave her great information and contacts. My son got some contact information as well for the business school. Will be attending an MBA event on 5/18/19. Look forward to seeing what the future visitor center will look like when the move is complete.
Wayne Salvatti: The staff is so helpful!
Bobby Norton: Loved it with the kids
