I find it very strange that I drove 10 miles with a pickup truck and filling 2 gallons barely got the gauge to the same spot. Please investigate.

Tristan and the guy who checked me out(I'm so sorry I forgot your name)were so nice and friendly.They kept a good,light convo going with me while I waited for the vehicle to be brought around. It was none of that awkward silence which I can't stand. Also,the checkout process was so quick and smooth which I loved.I rented the high roof cargo van and it was clean and in good driving condition. Shawn: Firstly, no DC power plug in to run GPS for my 900+ mile relocation. Secondly, pulling a car carrier with my Toyota on it. Blow out at the W. Virginia border. 2 hour wait...1 mile another blow out, same tire. Barrings bad, 3 more hour wait on new carrier! 7 hours down total! Edit... 100% refunded!

Jacob Wonder: Staff was nice but they pointed me in different directions.Waited 15 minutes with no help...Once they finally got to me I had to wait outside in the FREEZING temps (35) while they put on a new tire.I waited over an hour for a simple tire change....Edit: without communicating with me they decided to do all 4. So I’ll be here 2 hours.Because of this delay AFTER I’m done working in the truck I’ll return to my motorcycle which has been rained on for an hour, and I’ll have to ride 40 minutes in the pouring rain.If they said “hey we’re gonna take longer then the 15 minutes we told you”, I would’ve moved the contents of the truck to another and not had to ride in the rain.Was 2 star, but changed to 1 for literally 0 communication.Edit 2: Because of the delay, not only did my brand new leather gloves shrink, not only did my leather jacket shrivel, my phone broke. All they had to do was communicate and I wouldn't be out a whole grand.

Rick Cauthen: Good place to store ur overstock . Management works with u with class.
Nichelle Draganowski: The guy that owns this pickup/drop off location is incredibly rude, sarcastic/sassy and unhelpful. I would have driven farther to avoid interacting with him.
Stephen Cahill: I have used this location 3 times over the past 4 years and have never had a concern. I've made on-line reservations (which usually has a coupon on their website that applies) and they have always had my truck, although one time I had to get a 16' when they were out of 12' trucks. The staff may not be the friendliest, but they have always been efficient and professional. You also cannot beat Budget's prices on trucks - nobody else is anywhere close. You have to be realistic given that - it won't be the newest truck and several can be a bit banged up, but they have worked great for moving my kids around the east coast. Seeing all the bad reviews and just having rented from them again for a 1-way move to Charlotte, I wanted to balance out some others. Renting the same 12' truck from any of the typical competitors would have cost well over double the $125 I paid, especially with the mileage others charge.

I gave her my ID and signed the paperwork.She then asked me to sign one last document stating that the truck has damage on both sides and that the gas tank is full.I asked her how could I sign this before I see the truck, and if it's okay if I looked at the truck or if an employee could walk with me to the truck to confirm these things before pulling off (like they do at every rental company on the entire planet).Just then a man came RUNNING out of the office and straight towards me into the parking lot, I'm assuming he's the manager/owner.He's yelling in my face saying, "You better sign it first! We don't gotta confirm nothing to you!"He then canceled my truck rental. I had to find another budget location on the fly.Just madness all around.I spoke to corporate and they gave me a 100% full refund and apologized on his behalf.This place needs new management or management training.

Cherish Stalnaker: I don't know how this company can even operate. This is the second time in 2 weeks you have screwed up my reservation. Don't even bother. Uhaul is definitely more expensive and has no military discounts, but I will happily pay more for a truck that is there and a company who cares enough to call me back and not hang up on me when I call them. So disrespectful. This is only the third, 1 star I have ever given, but it is well deserved. I only wish the was an option for no stars at all.

Andy Jiang: Came to this location around July 1st, 2020 to rent out a 12' truck for the day, as my girlfriend and I were moving. When we got there, they told us that there were no 12' trucks, but they'd let us use a 16' truck at the same price. We thought: "Great, these people are nice." Spent the next few hours moving, with my girlfriend driving her car and just me driving the truck. We returned the truck 1 hour before the return time and 2 hours before they close. A couple days later, I saw they took out over $130 when the total should have been in the $70's. I called to ask. A lady picks up and tells me that I was charged a $10 drop off fee even though I returned it to the same location an hour before the return time. The lady didn't even know why I was charged, as it was documented where and when I returned it. She then turned the phone over to the man, who then tells me he charged me a $50 "cleaning fee" because he found a "big hock-er" in the truck that he had to clean up. I told him that I would never do that, as I even spent a couple dollars to make sure the gas tank was full. He told me he "took pictures," but did not want to show/send them to me. I then asked about the drop off fee and he said he would take it off and add it to the cleaning fee. I then asked for him to transfer me to corporate and he told me that they weren't going to do anything, but he'll transfer me anyway. He actually just hung up. I called corporate and explained to them and they apologized and refunded me $60. DO NOT EVER do business with these people, especially the "Budget" Rick Harrison. The women were fine, just not the bald guy.
David Sternquist: Very helpful and friendly staff.Decent trucks, very economical price.My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is the reservations can ONLY be done online - you can't walk up and request a rental. So you then make the rental online, wait for that reservation to synch over to the local office.
Jenny Jiang: I’m writing this review on behalf of my brother and his girlfriend who rented it, and this is the company that should be avoided at all cost. My brother and his gf rented a truck and were charged with a cleaning fee because they accused of him spitting, and charged him extra $10 for turning in the truck late —which is absolutely false because they turned it in before the due date. Then your company has the nerve to accused my brother, who is clean, respectful, and considerate, of spitting in your truck when there was absolutely no proof. You guys didn’t even do a DNA test and wiped off the spit.To everyone else, avoid this company at all cost— I’ve been hearing from many other different reviewers that they charge other hidden fees without telling them.

I called reservations, they escalated me to customer service who then escalated a message to the inventory manager. He said it would take 50min upwards to 2 hours for the inventory manager to call me back about my rental for the following day. Still have not heard back from the company or the inventory manager... terrible service.
Julie Rodriguez: The people at this location went above and beyond to help me get a truck. I was told the truck I had reserved a week earlier was not available at another location. I called the 800 number as instructed and never got a callback. That is on Budget truck rental. Out of desperation, I called this location and got A+ service. I understand that the management has changed within the last few months, these people really care. I highly recommend this particular budget truck rental location.

Dropped the truck off @ 4:30 & handed the key to her, just to find out we were charged $75 for a late fee. BUDGET IS A JOKE! Hints there name.. This company is Elementary
Scratchync: Reserved a 12' truck and got there on moving day to pick it up. We were informed that that location does NOT have any 12' trucks even though I reserved one and had the paper right in front of me that said they did!! Needless to say, I was NOT happy!! Especially in the day I was supposed to be moving my daughter off to college. I was already STRESSED and emotional and this added A LOT of frustration and stress to my already hectic day!!:(. I would like to note that the lady working the counter was very sweet and encouraged me to write a review as she was frustrated too because I was the 3rd person that she had to tell that they did not carry that particular truck to that week. Overall..... It would take a lot for me to EVER rent from Budget again.
SHOW At: Horrible service. Had a reservation early Saturday morning, only had a 3 hour window to move some furniture before work. 3 hours before my reservation, they called and said no truck was available. When I showed up in person they proceeded to tell me reservations don't mean a truck will be available and to call customer service . I called customer service and they seemed surprised and would transfer me to the next advisor who proceeded to seem surprised and would transfer me again, after the 3rd advisor I hung up and decided to go to Uhal. Only problem is I'm out of time I didn't get anything done.
