K: Please please please, save yourself the money and headache …do not get any thing done here. I wish I never came here. Came for an oil change and our car is totaled now.Made an appointment, waited for over an hour and a half and was quoted on 5 things also wrong with my car. Declined most of the things they tried to sell us. Accepted the oil change and a new tire as the tire did indeed have a bubble. However, it was overpriced like crazy, but needing to have the car on the road quickly - we took it. Now, there’s a brand new tire on a car that does not run. 20 minutes driving back from this shop and the engine just dies without any check engine light or throwing any codes. I was promised and they gave me their word (now I know that that means nothing here) that the car would be totally fine for a four hour trip and so forth. Upon trying to return and have them fix the damage done, they were rude, condescending and actually charged us $120 in diagnostic fees to diagnose a problem they caused….Tried to call “customer service” - don’t even bother. Refused to waive the fee and actually gave nothing but attitude and disrespect.Here’s the best part, my boyfriend works at an auto inspection center. He has received multiple people coming in that he has had to fail because of broken/not working parts on cars. They were confused as to how it could fail since they had just taken it to THIS SHOP. Their stories sounded EXACTLY like ours. I started looking at all the reviews and now I understand that this didn’t just happen to us. They have been doing this to so many people.If you’re looking for a place that has compassionate people that want to help you - this is NOT the place. As a woman it is so hard to find car places that don’t treat you like an imbecile (iykyk) and it’s always nerve-wracking to find a place you can trust. Ladies especially, but seriously everyone- look out for yourselves. Don’t come here.Please, please, please don’t come here.

Captain's Escape: Don't buy tires at Precision Tune. I had 1 tire to wear weird, not out of line, but a tire defect and they would not honor their 70k mile warranty. I got less than 40k miles and told me to call Cooper. Precision said they don't handle tire warranties. Even Walmart handles tire warranties. On my last visit ever to a Precision Tune, they left 3 valve caps lose so they would have fell off. I've gone there for many years and the place is falling apart. Go else where as I'll never go back. I talked to their corp customer rep and he doesn't care how bad my experience was. He kept telling me how they did the right thing and it's my fault. Ha! Seeya! I have a friend look at the car and found where the leak was - Precision Tune didn't screw the cap on tight enough when putting the new oil filter in. So, did they want my money, or did they not do their job right?

After going to far too many car meets, seeing his work - i had to try him for myself - especially as major engine work was imminent.Kim's customer service is fantastic. From initial contact to vehicle delivery, she made sure to stay in contact, and let me know what the status was.I dropped it off for diagnosis in the morning, and had a response back by mid afternoon, lovely, quick turn around time. During my phone call after diagnosis - they made sure that i had a solid understanding of what the results were - and options they could present on how to proceed.She was able to help me work around my budget to get my car's build foundation and ready to build on. They helped clear up any questions very quickly, gave solid build recommendations, and a route to take as the build progresses. Response time was awesome, as my job limits me to use digital means of communication rather than phone.I'm typically someone who likes to service their own car or service it with friends. I think insomnia may have changed this.My subaru hasn't ran better, and i have the peace of mind that the best in the business has had his hands on it - and that everything is done correctly.TL;DRInsomnia is great to work with! I wanted to have a 30,000 mile service completed as well as get a general health assessment of the car.Matt and Kim we're very accommodating, took a lot of time with me and explained clearly what had been done with the car before my ownership, how the general health of the car was (thankfully good), did the service and made a few adjustments to the car. They also took time to talk about next steps, in a very clear way, that I could take depending on what my goals were with the car and made some recommendations for me moving forward. Of course, their pricing is also very, very fair.Overall, they are a great shop to deal with.

Max B: This place is the real deal. I am utterly shocked as to how I missed this place and never knew about it. The gentlemen that work here are beyond experts. I have never in my entire life found a performance shop that offers such high quality service to their customers. I brought my C7 Stingray Corvette in today to get it's 3rd alignment since 2 other alignment shops couldn't get my car to stop pulling to the right. The C7 corvette has suspension that is adjustable in a many ways and it requires someone with the proper tools, know-how, and technique to get a car with such a stiff chassis, dialed in. Nick took the time out of his incredibly busy schedule to help me resolve this issue. I think he felt my frustration. He has been really careful with my corvette, and I can tell that he treats cars as if they are his own. He made sure his hands were clean so my steering wheel wouldn't get dirty, checked the pressures in my tires prior to hooking up the alignment equipment to ensure NOTHING affected the alignment in a negative way...THIS is how it should be done. He instantly knew that the rear caster (which every other shop ignored) was the issue steering the car to the right. Nick asked me how I wanted the alignment, and we came to a decision of a street alignment with a slight lean towards performance. Sure enough, after looking at his printout, the car had a very aggressive and unbalanced alignment from the previous shops.The moment you see the shop, the cars they work on, you'll immediately understand what this place is all about. If you have a performance car and want an alignment done to perfection, from someone who has aligned your model car many times, and knows of the common issues with your vehicle, this is the place to come.

More responsive especially on the turn in and handles fantastically.Since the Vette was such a success, I brought him my 2003 Mustang Cobra to have the intercooler pump replaced and to have an alignment done on this car as well. I did not want to take it the dealership given how expensive that tends to be but I needed to drive home in just a few days. After calling around, I found that Discovery services MINI/BMW and had availability that day!I was able to jump the car and get it in after some back and forth on the phone. Tracy, who helped me, was very friendly and helpful. I was able to pickup my car the same day. They are also open until 6:30 which is nice if you work.The service was pricey, but I think that is mostly because the MINI battery was so expensive. Rman 7: Excellent shop to work with. They've done an engine tune, clutch replacement, and alignment for my VW at this point. Their rates are competitive (often better) to other shops in the area while also having VW/Audi/Porsche expertise. They also do a good job of outlining the services in their quote, along with recommendations on any additional service that may need to be done. Brandon Hawkins: This is an edited review because I was compensated for further repairs completed by an Audi dealership after visiting Black Forest Technik. I want to emphasize that my car had extreme issues after being repaired by Black Forest Technik that weren’t present before being brought into their shop for the repair. I took my 2013 Audi Q7 with 80,640mi to Black Forest Technik in need of a diagnostic for a coolant leak on Thursday, March 3rd 2023. I had no check engine or malfunction Indicator lights other than low coolant prior to the car being dropped off. Their diagnostics revealed a broken crankcase breather assembly. They added that this entails replacing intake manifold gaskets (orange and green), coolant pipe, coolant crossover pipe, fuel injector seals, and an oil change. I was told that they would proceed with the repair when the parts arrived on Monday. I called the following Wednesday, March 8th to see the progress, and was informed that they will have to complete a second oil change (at my expense) to ensure no coolant had mixed with oil. I called again that Friday and was told they were now having issues with the heater blowing cold air. They said they were still bleeding the system to get air pockets out, so it should be ready Monday. I called Tuesday, March 14th and was told they will need to do another diagnostic (at my expense) to find why the car is not warming up correctly. I received a phone call Thursday evening, March 16th saying that issues had been resolved and my car was ready for pickup. Two weeks and $1,948 later, I picked the car up (80,676mi) on Friday, March 17th, after my overnight shift and drove home. After driving less than 20 miles, I go out to crank my car Saturday, March 18th, and experience an extremely rough idle followed by an EPC, ESC, and Check Engine Light showing 3 cylinder misfires, evap leaks, and a plethora of other codes that were not present when I dropped the car off on March 3rd. I had the car towed back to Black Forest Technik Monday, March 19th, for them to resolve the issue. I call them on Thursday, March 23rd to see if they had found the issue. They gave me a return phone call saying that after running tests, my car (with 80,696mi./Oil changes every 5000mi.), was experiencing PREMATURE ENGINE FAILURE. They told me that I would need a new engine, and they don't do engine work. I once again had the car towed to an Audi dealership mechanic where they properly diagnosed the engine issue as a stuck open injector (interesting after Black Forest Technik replaced injector seals), costing me more time and money. The car was repaired by the new shop, and the car is now running fine. My car's engine had not failed.Service:General repairs maintenance

Jim C: Can’t even explain how fantastic my experience was with Black Forest. I dealt mainly with Jonny (and Morgan a bit) and these two guys are some of the nicest and most honest individuals I have met. My 2010 Audi q7 TDI had a high pressure fuel pump explode due to bad diesel and after bringing it two other places these guys were the only ones who were able to find and diagnose this correctly. I also dealt with insurance - while most companies would try to find a way to haggle and get it fixed not correctly - Black Forest gave me the CORRECT amount which actually salvaged out the vehicle. Talk about being honest. They did all that work for basically just the normal diagnostic fee. Not to mention I called them at least 20 times. Cannot refer them more and if you are looking for an honest auto maintenance shop who are the gurus of Audis/ Volkswagen (and many other cars I’m sure) … look no further.
