Kate Hatfield: Best bra shopping experience ever!I have a hard to find size (small band/larger cup size); after realizing last minute that I needed a strapless bra for a vacation outfit, I was panicking since I never find my size in stores.I first had a negative experience at another specialty shop and was apprehensive going into the Perky Lady after finding them on Google.But oh my goodness was it the best experience!Laura did my fitting. She was so kind and knowledgable. I walked out with 2 bras yesterday and came back for more today! They are the best fit I’ve ever had for my size and shape.All of the ladies there are so supportive, kind, and body positive. This is where I’ll be getting all of my bras now!
Monica Primus: Once again, a fabulous experience. Ladies, if you haven't been there, I suggest you go. They will fit you with the correct size underthings and you will never look back. I wish they had one or more of these in every state. It is well worth the hour drive for me.

Amanda McIntosh: I LOVED coming here. Being from CA, boutiques are usually full of judgment, but not The Perky Lady. Laura, the stylist I worked with, was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She really made me feel beautiful and reminded me how important it is to feel comfortable and beautiful in the items. I don't think I've ever been more comfortable in a lingerie store in my life as I was here. By the end of my appointment, I had 5 items that were comfortable, and I felt I wore, not them wearing me. Plus, a wish list for my husband to come pick items from! I can't wait to make my next appointment.I've had to go shopping for new work clothes recently and I've kept all of Laura's kind reminders in the back of my head the entire time.P.S. go for the vip appointment. The local bakery treat I received was a cheesecake and it was fantastic!
Erica Case: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Perky Lady again after moving away for a bit. I was absolutely blown away! I gotta say I am so glad to be back! I forgot how much I missed having my own personal bra shopper. Every member of the team was so kind and helpful, and they truly made me feel like a goddess - even when I came back with some of my items because I just wasn't sure. I was so impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the team - they really know their stuff! All was figured out and they were right...who knew putting your bra on correctly and washing it made a difference :) I would highly recommend The Perky Lady to anyone tired of boring fast fashion and looking for a great personal shopping experience.
Katie Pate: I do love the bras that were pulled for me and I bought several, but none of them are everyday wear bras, which is fine. The reason I am giving this store a 3 star instead of a 5 star is simply for the way the owner treated her employee infront of me. Overall, it was a great expierence and i thought i'd be back but after seeing that interaction at the end of my visit it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

She also educated me on how lingerie should fit properly, and how to tell when it is or is not working.I never thought I could have fun shopping for lingerie, but I had a blast and came away with some great, fun, sexy pieces and a whole lot of confidence!I would recommend anyone looking for a VIP experience to come here!
Nancy Nice: TL:DRI bought a $100 bra at The Perky Lady, it broke after one wearing, and they refuse to fix it.I went to The Perky Lady in downtown Apex to purchase a strapless bra for a wedding I was attending. I’ve always had good service there and wanted to support a local business. I wound up spending well over $500 on three additional items as well. Pricey, yes, but worth it I thought.To my surprise, after wearing the strapless bra once (once!) the underwire started poking through. I brought it back to the store to see what they could do. The store manager, April Buchanan, asked me to explain to her how I handled the bra. I told her that I put it on by fastening it in front, then sliding it around and flipping the cups up. “Well THERE’S your problem. You are supposed to fasten it behind you.” Evidently this expensive bra is so delicate that it cannot handle being put on the way all my other bras have handled over the last 46 years. She told me this was explained to me at purchase. I truly do not remember being told, as I would have remarked about it. Also, if I had been informed, why would I have demonstrated to her the “wrong” way?Ms Buchanon said they had not received any other complaints so it couldn’t be a manufacturing issue. (Huh?) I did not expect to return or exchange the bra. She said I could possibly take it to a seamstress to get it fixed, which she stressed that they would absolutely NOT pay for. That’s all I wanted, really, was reimbursement for getting it fixed, and possibly some acknowledgment of faulty design, or an omission in their sales process - NOT that I was at fault for my apparently aggressive dressing.I would advise you not to shop at The Perky Lady.

As a recent breast cancer survivor, I struggled finding a place that could fit me correctly and provide me with the time and attention I needed to find flattering pieces. Laura was amazing, kind, patient and funny. She got me and I went home with the prettiest bras I have ever owned (plus a few on my wish list – yes, that is a thing here!). Denise Fisher: Worst experience ever!! Spent $200 on a bra, that was very tight but was told that it was a perfect fit, and needed to be worn and would eventually loosen up a bit. The bra was bought back in 1/2022. I wore the bra probably 8 times (due to the tightness and how uncomfortable it is), never had to wash it at this point bc the hours of wear were very limited. The back hook broke… took it back to the store thinking the company/manufacturer would either replace it or fix it. I was told, that is not the stores policy nor the manufacturers policy and I could take it to a seamstress or fix it myself. I would expect that if this had been a bra from Macy’s or Belk’s, NOT from The Perky Lady! They asked me if I was putting the bra on correctly…. I’m 59 yrs old, I’m pretty sure I know how to put a bra on. Nevertheless, I passed their test by showing how I put it on. Bottom line from The Perky Lady, was that these things can happen and it’s out of their control. Don’t waste your time or money with a company that will not stand behind their products.

Laura put me at ease and was able to help me relax so that I actually enjoyed my visit! She was wonderful at fitting me and brought me many beautiful bras to try…my biggest problem was I loved them all! Jennifer Knox: I came into the store literally 10 mins to closing. I had no clue what size I was since my bra was at lease a couple of years old and killing me! Karen swiftly and accurately measured me and gave me three options to try on. I have to say the bras I purchased are the best fit I have ever had! Karen was so patient and attentive. Her top notch customer service is the reason why I will continue to go back and also recommend to friends and family. Oh I forgot to mention that I was out of there in 10 min.. so I didn’t keep her past closing :)

Ashley Davis: I went there today (09/10/2022), with my 9 and 2 year old. My 9 year old was doing the best she could to keep her brother entertained while I looked for and tried on bras, but he began to get restless and rowdy. The 4 ladies working in there today are worth their weight in gold!! They played with my son and even brought out cat stickers and paper to keep him occupied while I didn’t my shopping. I was embarrassed by his behavior, but they made me feel like it was completely normal and like I had nothing to be ashamed of. I am so grateful for how the jumped right in to help. I had great experiences when they were at their Cary Towne Center location and have visited their Morrisville Marketplace location 3 times... probably my last time Jan.4, 2021. I entered into this store and there were 3 mid to late aged, Caucasian graying/ gray haired women and I saw there was only one customer that was at the check out desk. I was in this store for over 25 minutes and NOONE acknowledged me ...my hands were full of merchandise that I was going to buy... I even walked around to the front counter and was never acknowledged.2 ladies came in after me and they were eagerly helping them. So, I just put the merchandise back in its place and left. I will not be going back to this store just really a bad experience. I’ll shop online if I want Soma products from here on out.
Amanda Haedrich: Pristine customer service. It's been years since I've been bra shopping. I'd been wearing nursing bras and my pre pregnancy bras did not fit me. I had no idea what my size was. I was greeted right away and taken to a dressing room for a fitting with the Somainnofit bra. After I discovered my size, I told the employee which style I was looking at. She brought me a few options to try and she checked the fit of each bra. She then offered to find the style I wanted in a clearance color. I was very happy with my experience at this location. The sales lady made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel any pressure whilst shopping.

I love Soma and will never shop at another Victoria Secret again. At Soma, you are treated as an adult woman instead of a teeny bopper with pink glitter everywhere.

megan lacks: The sales rep that I encountered as soon as I walked in asked for my name. She was helpful in telling me about specials but very quickly became overbearing, with no exaggeration, she interrupted me shopping by saying, "megan, did you see this or know this" 20 times. I never want to hear my name again. Im polite and treat people with respect as I've worked retail and she's just a person trying to earn some money- I've been there, but I eventually threw my hands up and said I'm trying to shop thank you, as it had become excessive and disruptive. I couldn't wait to get out of there. None of the bras fit me well enough for me to fork over my money and she insisted that I needed to be measured and needed to look at these other bras. She was so overbearing I felt like I was about to have a panic attack. I couldn't cash out quick enough!I also wanted to see about shapewear and wanted to see if they could order me something from online but felt I couldn't as I just wanted some air; she legit gave me a panic attack! I will not go back!

KARI HUNSAKER: Normally i have a great experience at this store, but today was not the case. In full disclosure, I wanted to return an item, never worn, i had the tag on. I did not purchase it on clearance. When I walked in, i said i wanted to return it. Immediately, i was told that it was a clearance item and all sales are final. I said, i purchased this shirt at full price. After looking it up, they found that i purchased the item 3 months ago, past their 60 day return policy. I understand this is their policy, and i have no problem adhering to the policy. It was how I was treated. I wasn't welcomed, and it felt like I was at the DMV, not Torrid.
Rieneke Farrow: If I could, I would give this no stars. I just walked into this location and none of the THREE employees acknowledged my presence. They continued their conversation as if I wasn't there. I walked right by them and was tempted to say hello just so that they'd have to acknowledge me but I refrained. Not even 3 minutes later, other customers (of a lighter skin tone) walked in and were immediately greeted and offered assistance. I walked out, past all three employees, with still no acknowledgement. You obviously need help from the fact that the last two times I attempted to visit this location, it was closed. But maybe train your employees to have better customer service. I'll never be back and will tell everyone I know why.
Lauren King: I've only had great experiences at this location. Whenever I needed to pick up an order or exchange an item, the staff here has always been helpful. Today (5/15/2022) Felicia went above and beyond for me. She was the only one holding the store down and I could tell she needed some relief. But she didn't let that get in the way of making sure I was taken care of. She got my item returned and replaced with a smaller size, for the same price I paid online. She made sure the item was shipped to my house. We cracked some jokes and I was on my way. She's the best. I hope her higher ups see this and give her raise cause she deserves it.

Dianna Hummel: I have always hated buying bras (worse than bathing suits IMO). I recently lost a decent amount of weight and my old bras weren't fitting like they had before. At the suggestion of a friend I went into the Soma at Crabtree and Natasha greeted me. She was very professional and explained what a fitting would entail. I have never had a bra fitting before and I am over 30. She suggested 2 sizes and the first one fit like a glove. I have never been this size before in my entire adult life and got a tad misty eyed - they got me a tissue. (Not a big deal, but it meant a lot at the time)Hands down these bras are top quality, I could immediately feel the difference. I can't wait to wash and wear my bras! I have never said that before in my life. I will definitely be shopping there for future intimate apparel and appreciated Natasha's (and the other staff's) kindness and excellent customer service.
