Davis Library: what do users think?
Panowork.com魔鬼哥哥: I still remember the days when I was a chauffeur for my ex-girlfriend. She loved to help out at the Davis Library in Chapel Hill NC as volunteer, but she didn't have a car of her own. So I drove her all the way from Raleigh, and then her roommate picked her up. That went on until she bought a clunker that broke down on the first day. Guess who had to rescue her from Raleigh again? Yep, me. That's how much I cared for her. Too bad she didn't appreciate it. Oh well, life goes on. But those memories are hard to erase.
Tiffanie Lee: Popular study spot for students. Great staff and programming- offered coffee and wellness activities during midterms/finals. I would recommend taking the elevator during the summer because you might end up locked in a staircase otherwise.
Ella Carter: Nice place to hang out and study with friends. They have free office supplies, printers, and scanners for students. The top floors are very quiet, and the bottom 2 floors are lowder with nice, comfy furniture. I love this place
Jerry Chen: The computer room is a bit small, without Matlab
Jacobson Leser: Good study spot for extroverts and people that like background noise.
Baby Yoda: Best study spot at UNC! Great for socializing too. Wouldn’t have made it through undergrad without Davis Library.
Viraj Shah: Too quiet
Tate Bennett: Top tier, but why don't they stay open later into the night like on friday for example
julisha delacruz: Idk who died in the bathroom but they hated this library. The sinks are possessed to be so awful the water goes down everywhere but the sink . Overall safe walk has my heart 😩❤️
grace north: Yas one of my favorite libraries on campus. I like how it gets quieter with each floor so you have areas for talking and areas for focused work. The elevator is kind of bunk but I really love the windows on the back wall so pretty!
Pablo P.: Excellent place to study and work, you have it all there. Also the people who work at it are very nice. The only thing that I don't like is the opening and closing time: it should be wider.
Jeidy Vega: Really nicely place to come, do research and homework, work virtually or just studying. Is a silent and quickly place. Very well organized, with COVID-19 protocol and 6ft apart, there is also a security guard inside the building that makes the place even more safety.
Gabriel Mendez-Frances: I don't know what was going on with the folks working at the library, but it was enough to never make me want to come back here again.Went here to take an exam in peace and quiet. At some point a noisy crowd came in and were practically taking up the whole main hall with how loud they were talking, but the front desk staff said nothing to them. Halfway through my test, there was an announcement that the library would close within 30 minutes. No worries, it's on me and I should have checked the time before I started. I packed up my stuff and tried to open the door 25 minutes to closing only to realize the doors were already locked. There wasn't a staff member in sight. I had to wander around the library until I finally found someone. When I asked them to let me out of the building, it was as if I had asked them to lend me money. They eventually, begrudgingly let me out. I'd advise you to steer clear if you're looking for a place to study in peace.
Yelena P. Francis: It is a very good library, well-organized, and the people working there are efficient and friendly. They have a good Russian language collection of books.
Zach Hibbard: Great place to study, the group study rooms are very helpful if you can manage to reserve one in time. I'd recommend getting your spot at least two weeks ahead of the start of finals season, these rooms fill up very very fast. Also, the first and second floors provide a very laid back study atmosphere for anyone who doesn't like the ultra quiet 8th floor.
Cam'ryn Bost: Chill place to study, that’s all that matters
Amalia Mammadova: Two stars for the 8th floor, otherwise, no stars. Lol. This library really needs to be updated. Stained ripped/up carpet, broken furniture, writing all over the walls and study cubicles, and disgusting spider webs on the windows? Come on. This is supposed to be the main library on campus. Lol.
John Kinsey: This library could stand a renovation or two, but otherwise it's really nice. Great views.
Nathaniel Zhang: 工作人员非常热情,图书馆很安静,很舒适,没有异味。工作效率很高,WIFI 速度也很快。
EC: Eight levels, and dozens of rows of books, hundreds of chairs, and study holes... This library is an absolute gem, and there's tons of books to be discovered here. This is the place you can go for reference books, and while it doesn't have as much new tech as the UL, it's really a good atmosphere for studying and working on projects. For anyone who has read the Name of the Wind, you'll know this is basically the archives... great stuff!
Randy Parnell: Just walking into Davis Library you feel smarter. This is one of the main libraries for UNC Chapel Hill. You will find plenty of areas to study from common areas where groups can meet to quiet areas where you can think. It has an intresting layout that has study rooms on every floor.

Serin Kim: 케리에서 가장 가까운 도서관인데 재미있는책들이 많더라구요. 저희는 가기 편해서 자주 갔습니다.
Clara: Wonderful library to learn the world peacefully.
A K: Nice place to study, but as a tutor I kept getting harassed by librarians. They tried to call me out for sitting in the “wrong places” until I politely explained that there were no alternatives. We weren’t being loud or disrupting anyone else, they just wanted to mess with me. Then they crawled back in their little cave when they realized they had no argument. This happened multiple times, with different librarians. I don’t get it. I don’t go there anymore.
Chuck Fleming: I was there with my wife to pickup some books for reading while on vacation. There were work stations for internet access and self-service stations for checking out library books. It was a very quiet environment for reading and study.
Peggy Triplett: First time there. It was a very nice Library.
Maulik Sehgal: Pretty cozy place. You can rent books with a membership, on site computers is a plus. Pretty wide selection. If your favorite isn't in paperback it's prolly in overdrive.

D. H. Hill Jr. Library: what do users think?
Anurata Hridi: You gotta love this library.
Foziljon Eshmatov: Amazing
Tom Sneed: ... can also be used for research or study ... contains many words and ideas: none of which are harmful to spine-endowed-mammals ...
Connor Bass: Whenever I was a student at NCSU and needed to really buckle down and study, the 3rd and 4th floor were amazing for this. Better than Hunt for this in my opinion.
Austin Davis: Definitely a better library than that soulless one on centennial campus.
Jackson Smith: Tons of space and places to study. Comes with computers
Carli Gordon: cold
Onkar Chaudhari (श्री दत्त कृपा): North Carolina State University Raliegh library is a huge and very nice place for students to study here. It is peaceful and all facilities are available here. It is open 24*7 for the students. Therefore the students here study and do their research work in an excellent manner. They have the personal computer and login to access online books and journals.
Olivia Fiser: The lack of outlets across all floors is annoying, especially since thousands of college students use this library regularly. And when you do find an outlet, chances that they work are minimal. If there were more outlets it would be way nicer
AJ Fathi: This library has a decently sized collection of books (although not as many books as other libraries of large Universities) and excellent facilities. This library has been very useful and I have gotten books and articles from here (both digitally and physically). I enjoy the nice furniture, browsing through the bookstacks and the white boards. I also enjoy renting out technology and looking at the aerial view from the top floors. I have spent a lot of time studying here as the rooms are typically very quite (except when the library is more crowded).
Emma Story: I love this place with my whole heart and soul - would live here if get let me
John Nolan: Great place for studying! Fantastic view and many available resources within as well.
Jessica Vega: Great place to study and get work done. I love the whiteboards & whiteboard tables that make it super easy to visualize or jot down some quick notes
Naman Goel: It's a great library with plenty of amenities. It has silent study rooms, discussion rooms, individual study pods and computer labs. It also has a coffee shop and dining area where students/faculties can grab a bite. Also it's located right across Hillsborough St where one can grab a bite to eat or coffee while studying/working at the library.
Henry Marks: This is a great place to chill and study. Awoooooooo! (Wolf howl)
Div: Awesome library with quiet areas and books all the way to 9th floor with a view of the city
Johnny KS: So much KNOWLEDGE here! Love D.H. Hill.
anjali gahlot: Beautiful library my favorite place
Prema Narayana: This is such a great library. As a freshman at NC State, I always found the staff at the library to be extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised to find out that I can check out more than books and media, but all kinds f technology! They also have fun workshops for free. Also anyone can claim a study room up to a week in advance. I do recommend checking out the renovated section of the library (entrance from the brickyard to the 4th floor), currently int his pandemic you can only enter if you have a student ID (this will change when the pandemic passes over).I started working at the Library in 2019 and it is the best job I have ever had. The managers are very understanding when it comes to assignments and they have always been very supportive for me. After the pandemic, they were still able to offer student a job for scanning textbooks and I am so grateful for that!
Garrett Gunter: A library without Rob Rucker would be a significantly better library.
Sybil Lattimore: I love the new D.H. Hill Jr. Library!

James E Shepard Memorial Library: what do users think?
John Hewitt: Nice facility, great staff, fantastic resources.
Jack McCauley: Very nice facility, convenient parking, easy to find.
Reece Player: It has books.
Joshua Darnell: Perfect for any and all academic needs at Central. The librarians are always more than helpful with anything you could possibly think to ask, and are a great source of information when searching for journals or further reading on given topics.
Nydia ponder: If I could give this library a 10 star I would. I was assigned an annotated libguide assignment in the LSIS 5230 Humanities Resources and Services close to the end of the semester. Of course, outside sources was legitimate for the assignment, but however, the instructor required the class to find databases from the NCCU library that relates to the topic. My topic was Art for Elementary Students. As I was searching for databases related to the topic, I was having a much complicated time trying to find databases that contained resources. So with that in mind, I called the NCCU Library and a reference librarian by the name of Beverly went way above and beyond to help me. Not too many librarians are as helpful as Beverly. While we were on the phone, we both searched databases together that would match my topic, and boom, I was able to locate databases the contained information about the selected topic I chosen. Even more wonderful about Mrs. Beverly, she even emailed me articles and databases so I could have tremendous knowledge and understanding on how to search databases at the NCCU library. Because of Mrs. Beverly, I received an A on the annotated Libguide assignment. Any Library Science students who are struggling to search databases at the NCCU Library, all you have to do is give Mrs. Beverly a call. She is the best.
Chrystal Ingram: Beautiful!!!!
Mike D: Great library
Randy Parnell: Beautiful and clean library that honors the Founder of North Carolina Central University. Take a walk and look at all the pictures that mark historical figures and events. The decor is modern with quite study rooms, computers, plenty of tables to have group meetings, and friendly staff.
