xiujin lin: Very bad customer service for which BOFA known for. I am with them for last 15years. Now is the time go somewhere else I guess. This branch manager with anna is horrible in terms of customer service.

Tomorrow: Bank staff are very nice and treat customers very warmly. But the bank's deposit policy is very unfriendly. I have to wait a week to deposit a check before it shows up. This is obviously taking advantage of the customer, and the interest for three or four days will be eaten by it for nothing, and the accumulation will become more. It's hard to imagine how many people's interests have been misappropriated in this way! The store bullies customers.
Nyrma Nieves: The manager of this location has put me through the worst humiliation of my life for racism. She yelled at me that she can't accept a check my dad gave me because it was written in Spanish. My check is from a well known banking institution in Puerto Rico. It was a check to deposit into my checking account. I have been a customer of Bank of America for five years. Banks in Puerto Rico are subject to the same federal laws as in the United States and we use the same currency, which is the dollar. This manager didn't even try to inquire about the check. She just said no because she didn't understand what was written there. I contacted the central offices of Bank of America and they told me that they do accept checks written in Spanish.

Mark Stevens: Drive thru banking was shut down and appeared to be so longer term. Drive-up ATM open. Lobby open last time I was there (Aug 2, 2022).
Anthony: This branch at why b of a at 1001 St Charles pl 1001 cary nc ihas been closed Monday(for teen day?!) and tuday Tuseday, no logical or clear reason or when is going reopen. My wife had important transaction that only could be followed in this branch, now up on the air.FYI: to respond B of A comment we did go to different branch at High house road in Cary but they could not help and asked that we go back to branch where her account is (the one that is closed).
Miranda Hall: Awesome service. Management was super nice but I really want to press that Anna was AMAZING! I’d give 10 stars if I could. She was very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and made us feel important by remembering little details from our previous visit. My husband and I felt like family there just from Anna and her manager remembering who we were by only us going in twice!! I’m telling you, the way Anna treated us, that lady needs a raise!! We loved her.

If it continue to be this way I will be force to go to another banking system. It is so sad because I have been with the bank for over 40 years. vgastonpr: I'm a BOA customer. I went to see if a could get a document notarized as I have done in the past although it was the 1st time in this center. I got there at around 9:50am; I couldn't see any customers around. A lady asked me what she can help me with. After explaining, she said that they notarized documents by appointments and that there was an appointment for 10am. Another lady offered me a window for 11am. No one was around. I just assumed they were not willing to help.I went to SECU for the same. The lady there immediately asked me to sign-off the document in front of her. She verified my credendials, stamped, and signed the document. It took the whole process approx. 3 minutes; the time a teller takes to attend a regular customer without an appointment. Sometimes people are not passionate about customer service. Still BOA is my preferred bank. It is very unfortunate that BOA has some of these employees at this location.

Shashank Srivastava: I had to transfer money from my Forex card to BoFA account. They told me beforehand if the swipe machine returned an error it will not be possible however swipe machine didn't complain and I was able to transfer all the amount to my BoFa account.I didn't bring my passport the first time so they asked me to get it and then it was done very smoothly. Staff was polite and co-operative so full stars for that.

George Wang: I applied for a mortgage and worked with David from this branch. I give it 1 star based on below facts -1. David did not reply my emails until I looped in his manager Robert.2. BOA did a hard pull without providing a letter disclosing my credit score from that inquiry.3. David said I must submit an application for underwriter review. I said I would like to go ahead with it. I have got no reply ever since.
Aravind: Repeated insult at this location, branch has multiple counters with dedicated lines customers standing in each line. I was standing in one of the lines for next to be called, as teller clearly observed me in line (branch, check your cameras), but asked me to let another person from next lane with an excuse of saying "who is first" while others are watching. This as clearly an uncomfortable situation.If this is the case, they should maintain single line for all counters for justification of teller actions. Upon my transaction completed, I questioned, by than the specific teller was prepared for counter justification. I am PRETTY sure, that is NOT the practice and she JUST made it up, I could clearly see that.Branch, you have all video recordings to validate.BTW: The teller who helped me, is nice and did his (good) job.
Ramesh Singh: I haven't written any negative review yet about any vendor/services till date. But, I am writing this review because there service quality that is provided to customer in this branch is really pathetic. They actually don't want to work. They will make one excuse or the other to not do your work. I and my wife visited this branch for 3 consecutive days to get the SSN number updated.But, they made sure that our job is not done because of some excuse or the other. We have to do the same SSN update in our CHASE account too (which is just a mile from this place) and they took not more than 10 minutes to help me out. But the staff at this BOFA branch made sure that the SSN is not updated even after 3 consecutive visits on 3 consecutive days. I visited this branch as it was nearest to my home. But, I have made up my mind that I am not going to use any services of this branch. I will always prefer CHASE over BOFA now if I have to use any service that requires a branch visit

Collin Smith: The manager Lee told me I was not allowed to consistently get change for myself when I have an account with bank of America. He accused me of always wanting it for a business. Such ridiculously bad customer service and the behavior should be monitored and delt with . I have never in my life had a bank in which I have an account tell me I can't make change.I love bank of America but this manager and his customer service terrible at best. Currently waiting to speak with his supervisor.Not surprising to see they have such low reviews.

V A: This branch is the worst I have ever come across. I went to wire some funds today and there were 2 people ahead me and none after. There were 4 offices for bankers and only 1 had someone in it and he wasn't helping anyone at the time. The Indian teller said that there were no appointments for the day and that I should try to make one. It takes a whole 10 min for someone to help with a wire transfer. When I pointed out that there was a banker sitting idle, the teller told me that the banker didn't have access to do a wire transfer. I got agitated and asked why they weren't others bankers working today. She said they were short staffed and sensed that I wasn't happy. She then talks to the lone banker and comes back to me that he can squeeze in an appt for a few min at 3:15 PM which was 4 hours later. Suddenly the bankers access for wire transfer was magically bestowed to him.Their work is to help us because our money in their bank makes them money through their investments. The hubris they exhibit is revolting with people who they think are not of a certain ilk. I shall never bank with this branch ever again.

Anchal Dwivedi: My daughter wanted to get bank account open so we went to the bank. The first time we went there they told us to bring the passport or SSN. We went back and and brought it and then they said you need the SSN card and passport. It was around 3pm the second time we had to go. One of them said if you bring the SSN and come back before 4 we have an availability to set up the account. So again we went to home and came back the third time before 4. After waiting for a while they said that they couldn’t assist us because it was almost 4. We came back multiple times and they kept saying you have to come back again. It was pretty frustrating. Now we’re going to another bank. It took forever and we couldn’t even get a simple task done.

Seth Seth: Highly inefficient staff & like other few members mentioned they always find reasons and refer to rule book for notary service. I didn't have to argue but this was not expected as a customer service.
Samara Lemon: They are the most inefficient, ineffective Bank of America branch i’ve ever been to. I’ve been a Bank of America customer for over 15 years and this was by far the worst service I have ever had. The workers when you schedule meetings are incompetent and not helpful. Don’t recommend going here.
Inder Gandhi: Very disrespectful and bad experience at this branch. Went for Notary after making an appointment. My other friend warned me to go this branch but still I dared. Rep was trying to find way to say they can't notarize it, when they found no reason, was told its a complimentary service. Well, that's very disrespectful. If you don't want to do it, why don't you list this location as offers Notary.First person, checked doc and said they can't do it here go to UPS. When asked the reason, showed me Notary rule book. Okay...taken, then one document met the criteria of what they can do notary on, and he, other 2 member of staff got busy in finding what reason could be given to say No to this as well. When no clear reason they all able to give, they said, its a complementary service. :) i.e. they decide when to say yes and no. well the time you guys spend of finding a reason or sentence in rule book, you would have done the legitimate document notarization.If the branch manager cares about customer, I expect they would contact me to get full details.Moving my account.

Kristen Moore: There is almost never fewer than 4 people in line to see the one teller working. Meanwhile there are 2 or 3 managers wandering around "checking people in." A few months ago, they added a special line for businesses. I had high hopes for a shorter line as I am a business owner. Alas, there is never a teller at the business window, so I'm still in the long line waiting to deposit cash for my business.
jason kearns: The ATM ate my card. They didn't even attempt to help. Pretty much told me it was my problem and made no attempt to take the ATM out of service... So it had probably been broken or will at least cause issues with the next person. Then I had to wait in line to get cash. Four people were behind the counter with one lane open servicing a long line. To no surprise, they also couldn't help me get a new card ordered. All around lazy and unhelpful.
J Park: I was very pleased with the kind and professional service of Ms. Shirin Maayah. She provided my family with everything we needed and effectively communicated to resolve some problems. I high recommend her to work with.

This is after he ignored me for several minutes while he chatted with another employee (obviously not work related). Perhaps they need better time management skills to better suit their customers needs.Walked out and drove to the O’Kelly Chapel branch and was met by the manager who was polite and apologetic. He was able to help me with what I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything.Been a customer of BOA for 15 years and I’ll never step foot in the High House branch again.

Kevin Mak: Wait times are 30 min+ to see a teller and there are 5 or 6 employees doing laps around the line apologizing instead of "rolling up their sleeves" and getting basic transactions done. I shouldn't be surprised though, every Bank of America has horrible staffing problems. I am switching banks at the end of the month. I hope I to never have to step foot in another BOA after this year.

Raj Deepan: I had a very bad experience with this BOA financial. They are running out of staffs, extremely wait time and staffs are not helpful. The bankers was not there when we visit during business hours.
Arthur: My appointment was at 2pm. Nobody talked to me until 2:20pm explaining what is happening (after checking in). I can write the process for the whole day but I just don’t want to waste my time since my point is clear already: the service is terrible here.

Ravindra Singh: Terrible service and staff. They are short of staff I believe. Every staff has different understanding of same service. I deposited 5 checks with my spouse signature and they accepted. Every time it was hassle, one manager saying you need joint account, another one saying it is ok, 6 th time they didn't even deposit saying your spouse need to be present here. This is experience from service on July 6th. I am ok with whatever rules you follow but why keep changing rules every time. People take time from work and when they have go through this arbitrariness is not at all helpful. I am privileged customer and this my experience. Probably time to switch account to another bank.
