Shymeer Daniels: Today I had an appointment ( my second appointment at this office and first time meeting Victor) to get my results on my veins. When the doctor asked me about my compression socks I advised I bought some and had been wearing them. He stated what compression are they . I said I didn’t know they had to be a current compression and that I was never advised at my last appointment with (Sarah) that I needed a current prescription for the compression socks. He then start to get loud , unprofessional and offended because I advised him that all the information I needed was not provided in reference to the compression socks. I advised him that he was getting loud and upset and we are just having a conversation about what I wasn’t advised. He then said Sarah is great at her job. I advised him I was not saying she was bad at her job what I am saying is she didn’t provide me all the information I needed about the compression socks. If I would have known that she offered me to purchase socks because of a special amount of compression I would bought them. The doctor victor then offended me by saying sarah assumed I had the right compression socks and was trying to save me money as if I couldn’t afford the $60 dollar socks. As an African American Woman I felt disrespected ,uncomfortable ,scared and belittled by the unprofessionalism and aggression in his voice. I decided to find another physician who cares about their patients and accepts constructive criticism from the lack of information provided. I wouldn’t recommend this office.SignedMrs.Davis

I have had VV for 15 years, finally decided to take care of the issue here- drove quite a way for many appointments but was promised results The vein is still visible and I now have a large bruise on the front of my upper thigh from the injections - it’s more noticeable than the original issue. Dr.M is nice enough but never shared my concern for the lack of results. It’s been a year and the only response was that “it would go away”. I would not recommend based on my results.

They are always so accomdating with scheduling my procedures within the limits of my schedule and my insurance requirments. My legs no longer ache and look much better.

Vanessa Green: This place runs their practice like a sales shop, not a medical office. They made me go through 6 months jumping through hoops to get a verified for treatment and they would NEVER give me a cost estimate. Finally, prior to giving me a price, they tried to make me sign a contract that said I would go through the treatment or pay a $100 fine. At this point I was frustrated, why would a commit to an "elective treatment" if I didn't even know the price?! I was so disgusted by this behavior I decided no to go through the procedure.Years later I decided to proceed with getting my veins corrected bc the hassle was worth getting rid of the pain. I called another practice-- my insurance completely covers the treatment under my copay. I could cry.This place is unethical, and when I tell this story to doctor friends, they are appalled by this behavior. Some have actually recommended this practice but now will not. Please DO NOT GO HERE. Doctors should be able to tell you upfront an expected cost.

Vicky & Lauren McLean: I had a surgery, resulting from superficial phlebitis 19 years ago. I was so pleased with Dr. Medina and his staff’s service, that I referred other people to the him when they had issues. And when it came time for me to come take care of my veins again, I came to Dr. Medina. I’ve had multiple surgeries and injections at his office this year, but, I have not dreaded any of them. He does great work and the whole staff if phenomenal. They treat you like a friend, as if they have known you for ever.

Favor Winner: Not too happy with the staff. A clinic that bother to send reminders to patients except you call. I have an issue with that.

Lane BT: I would not recommend Dr. Medina to family and friends. My husband went to Dr. Medina for four visits to set him up to have procedures done and this office waited until he had his preop two weeks before his first outpatient procedure to tell him he had to pay money up front. We were told about a month prior to this that they would work with us financially and then when he went for his preop visit they expected a wad of money up front. Needless to say my husband cancelled his appointments and got his medical records to go to another doctor. Also, if you are looking for a doctor with personality, Dr. Medina has no personality. Another thing to consider, if you only have medicare, consider making an appointment with someone else, because this office will not work with you on making reasonable payments.
