Music & Arts: what do users think?
laura pope: Tommy has been a great percussion teacher! He is definitely an asset and we would recommend him to anyone who asks!
Keiriek R: Friendly Staff and helpful
Joe Christopher: Friendly young staff that were helpful. Sold me a nice medium priced guitar.
A P: Very helpful, nice well educated staff.
S. Graham: Wonderful staff. Very knowledgeable. Had my bass fixed and fine-tune in a very timely manner. I would recommend this place for music needs.
Gerardo Rivera: I rented a student flute for a month in October of this year 2022. The flute I rented was clean and appeared brand new! It was a Jupiter flute which was the same brand of flute I own. Ironically, the sounds/notes 🎶 were produced easier than my flute! 😛😯.The shop is small and reminds me of the instrument rental/repair shops back home 🏡 in TX. Lots of instruments and accessories could be found, bought, or rented depending on the item (overpriced in my opinion). The young people behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I appreciate the room in the back in which you can practice after you pick up your repaired instrument 👍. They do have a water 💦 fountain ⛲ and bathroom which is great. The only complaint would be the temperature 🌡️ was high (hot 🔥 inside) that day I went in.
Julia Hageman: This company has shady business practices. The band teacher forgot to return our instrument to the education consultant with Cary Music and Arts in North Carolina. He finally returned it and we were promised a refund for the 6 months they were charging us when we thought we had returned the instrument. I have been trying to get the situation solved and get a refund for 2 months. It has been a nightmare getting anyone to help with anything in customer service and even the education consultant won't respond to texts or calls. The company seems to be in it for the money and hoping you forget you have a contract with them and they can just continue to charge your credit card if you don't notice. Beware. The education consultant got them to stop charging my credit card but now they sent a debt collection letter-but the instrument has been returned. It's been maddening. I would never, ever rent an instrument from this company again.
Dorie Ney: Very helpful, understood my needs and able to help with choices
Briyanna Terry-Barton: The sales associate at the Durham location was mean and basically didn't want to help us... He pushed us out the door... But the Cary location was very pleasant and helpful... I will be going to Cary for anything pertaining to music from now on... My five stars is for Cary!!!
Shalyse Clayton: The guy working there was super helpful and knew right where the items I were without having to move. He also knew what items I was describing, for the clarinet, without a picture. Lots of items in stock and a lot of variety.
Claire Helms: Helpful and kind staff!
nick ilies: Great store great product and very nice and well knowledgeable staff 👍
Steve Thayer: Super friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Salad Gaming: Customer service was great. As a musician myself, the employees knew quite a bit about music as well.
Adileny Lagunas: As soon as i walked in, i was helped from beginning to end; staff very helpful !!
Visvesh Balasubramanian: Went for a instrument swap - changed size of violin from 1/4 to 3/4 . Was an easy transaction with very helpful staff .
Jennifer Aubut: Helpful and friendly staff. Had lots of choices for many items. Would recommend to others for sure!
Gwenyth Vuke: Came here for some music for a Christmas present for a beloved piano teacher. Left with three beautiful books and had Wonder conversation about composers and arrangers with the manager and two employees. They were helpful and pleasant!
David Sternquist: Clerk knew where the item we were looking for was located (she walked us to the specific display shelf, and went into a little detail as to the differences between the options (brands) that were available. So GREAT Customer service, friendly, knowledgeable staff, decent prices
Jessica Beaver (Ellareyne): Getting a rental for my son saxophone. His saxophone got damage recently and thank goodness I had their warranty, I didn’t had to pay anything for it! They said it could take 3 weeks for it to come back and I got it less than that! Always great service
Gil Fdz: Excellent service and very friendly staff!!! No doubt about it!!!

Music Go Round Cary: what do users think?
brian blochl: This is a go to place to shed some of your used music gear or instruments. They will promptly test and check out your gear and give you an offer to buy it. The used gear at this store is usually good ,especially if you go to the store. Unlike privately sold used gear, they can let you test and check out the used gear in the store to make sure it sounds great. Staff are very helpful
alison saine: Incredibly helpful staff who allowed us to try instruments and coached us what to buy for our intermediate student. Prices matched other used equipment stores. Good experience.
Joey O: Love the business model. Staff is not the most friendly but not a bad place for a decent deal
Lynn Lohmeyer: Helping my brother move, I took a few items here with no idea what would happen. The guys were friendly and helpful. It took about 20 minutes for them to evaluate everything and offered me more than I expected for them.Very positive experience.
Alyson Visgauss: Really wish you wouldn't waste peoples' time and gas money telling them you have something you do not after they confirm the product time multiple times with you, prior to deiving from Durham to get it. Not appreciated.
Gordon Gross: nice guys
Dr. G Plastina (Doc G): My son and I dropped by this place. It’s highly recommended by our musician friend who is a drummer. I started liking this place. There’s a lot of new and slightly used stuff for music lovers, especially for songwriter and musician like me there. They even have a trade-in for any music instruments you want to let go. It’s my favorite place in that park. Definitely be coming back to see and buy more.
Ravi Velamuri: I wish I could write zero stars. I would strongly recommend nobody to buy here. I bought an Electric guitar couple of weeks ago. When I visited them for checking the same guitar because it was not sounding right, they asked me to pay for $65 to set up the guitar. Which doesn’t make any sense. Their return policy/service is really poor. Please don’t buy here unless you’re sure about what you’re getting from them.Music go round cary: please don’t bother about serving better to me in future! I won’t be walking in again
Kim Ebel: My electric bass stopped working all of a sudden. Took it into here and the tech was able to diagnose and fix the problem super quick (~20min)! Very friendly and helpful!!
Scuba Steve Bowes: Another rip off Chain Screwing people That come in to sell Equipment... They Lie and tell you that they can't price items at this amount and you look as soon as your Equipment is posted and they price it higher than they said ... Liars . BUT it is the same anywhere in business anymore. BEWARE IF YOU ARE SELLING.
Parker Moseley: Have bought two almost brand new, top of the line guitars here. Returned others for decent price(bout half of actual value). Staff is alright. Honestly, one kid there is extremely friendly to me and redeems the rest of the staff.
Rodney Nash: Very great place. Fair trades and great prices.
LinuxJunki: Great gear for an even better price, trading is the most fun here
Jack Werner: I'm a huge fan of Music Go Round Cary. I've stopped by multiple times, usually just to 'browse' but I end up leaving with a couple new pedals. They have the best prices in the area for gently used gear and a handful of great, knowledgable guys behind the counter who make sure you're satisfied with what you purchase. I also love to support this local business rather than the giant GuitarCenter down Highway 55. Music Go Round has a sizable collection of electric, acoustic, and classical guitars, as well as all kinds of guitar gear, mixing gear, monitors, drums, amps, you name it. Definitely stop by if you're looking for something new! And thanks Matt for all the help last time!
Lambodar Ray: Great place for shopping Musical instruments. Used items but is good condition and price. Music is always alive so as instruments
Justin Langley: Friendly and helpful staff, amazing and competitive prices, and a great selection. There's a good mix of new and used gear here and you can find some really unique stuff here from time to time.
pratik shah: I bought a used acoustic electric guitar from the store.I bought that in a hurry.I went home and played it for hours.I really liked the tone but I found out an issue (fret buzz) then I changed the new strings hoping it to get fixed.Guess what it did not.I went to the store and asked for refund. The manager was very professional with good attitude. He refunded without any problem.I dont write reviews that much but I liked the customer service. So I thought why not share my experience.
Dan Feola: They dont give much for trade, but their resale prices trend average not overpriced. They purchase everyday which is helpful, decent selection.
Miguel Jackson: Good people. Good place. Love the used equipment!
Ly Vuong: I sold two amps here and they gave me a fair price for both, so I am happy! Actually, bittersweet that I have to say goodbye to my beloved amps, but ... with the money I got, I can get myself a used guitar. :)
Guy Fieri: Tons of pre-owned unique guitars and basses in there. Amps include a Hughes and Kettner too! Awesome store and I met a cool British dude customer who was dropping tons of knowledge on the pharmacudical marketing industry, so a win win

Guitar Center: what do users think?
mishael dukes: Hey !! Just wanted rekindled my skills as a guitar player & came to this particular guitar center. If anyone is to buy any merchandise from Guitar center I recommend this guitar center above all. If there’s ever an employee you need to assist you. Ask for james, you will not be unsatisfied.
jUSTIN nOPE: I guess I've gotten used to the Fayetteville store, I forgot that old-school 'don't bother the employees they're cooler than you" attitude. Thanks for the reminder!
Nagendran M: Absolutely love the experience with this Guitar Center located in West Cary. I made a reservation for speakers and needed help and suggestions regarding how to set it up... had all the help I could get. Bobby - the owner probably, is an awesome person to work with and a nice gentleman answered all my questions. Bobby went out of the way to help me with my rental. Very helpful people at work and I will recommend to my friends and family!!
Pat Millen: Brought in a pedal for exchange today. They offered me $80. Went to music go round, 15 mins down the road, and got $170 for it.
Big Bizznazz: My experience in guitar center was was pointless . Nobody came to help me. Nobody even thought of helping me. It was at least six people working I had to find my own equipment. Bring it to the counter to ask prices. A much rather go to the guitar center in Raleigh Capital boulevard. Just for the customer service and loan They're great
Bert kozlowski: Everytime I've gone here, I've been greeted with slack customer service, or none at all. Multiple times now, I've had products that I've had to return and exchange. I would expect to get more respect, having spend over $5,000 in this particular store over the years. But that's not the case. I bought what was supposed to be a brand new MPC One, which turned out to be malfunctional with hissing, buzzing and non-working components. Upon exchanging it within the 30 day return period, I was given what was said to be a "factory opened" MPC One that "had not been taken out of the store". When I got home, I discovered that not only had it been more than factory opened, it had been heavily used, with someone else's name registered into it, and all sorts of downloads and saved file projects on its hard drive. The file projects are dated, with the difference between the earliest dated file and latest dated file being almost 5 months, so I know it had been used at least for that long, if in fact that was its only user. Either I was mislead, or the staff has a bad track on their inventory, which either way is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with the spendings of a $1000 product. This isn't the only incident, its just the latest. The amount of dishonesty, coupled with smirk and smug attitudes from staff is more than enough at this point, for me to never go back. I will gladly take the extra 30 minutes it takes to get to the Raleigh location.
Kemp English: They sell drum heads!
James Ladd: I have shopped at Guitar Center for many years and two weeks ago I received the best customer service I ever have from an associate named Charlie. I was browsing keyboards when Charlie came to help. I was very frustrated that I couldn’t figure out the basics of some of the keyboards, and I’m embarrassed to say that I was probably a bit of a jerk. Charlie admitted that although keyboards were not his wheelhouse he would be happy to help me. He undersold himself. He knew exactly how to work the keyboards and helped me figure out exactly which one I needed. I was looking at features that were not applicable to what I needed. He was very low pressure, knowledgeable, and he calmed me right down like he had a PhD in psychology. He was very kind and down to earth. I hope they use him as an example when training new associates because he is about as good as it will ever get. The keyboard I wanted was out of stock, and Charlie worked with his colleagues to send me home with a keyboard that evening until mine arrived. Thank you Guitar Center and thank you Charlie.
Douglas Heckart: Very helpful staff. Being a beginner, I was expecting to be talked down to, and they didn't do that at all.
Am The Man: Really love my guitar, and the sales girl who helped me. All was good and I’m happy with my purchase, however when they mentioned the warranty I respectfully declined.1000$ purchase keep in mind. Then the store manager or owner(not sure who) steps in and insults me. “You cant fix a guitar”. It kind of upset me and ruined the pleasure of bringing home my new guitar.Im an engineer with three discipline's.ElectricalMechanicalSoftwareI know how to build a guitar (and have in the past).Try being respectful to customers.Paying customers. Who did nothing wrong…..Anyway going to enjoy my new toyRock on!
Ben Holladay: Found GC looking for help with an old classical guitar I found that belonged to my late father. Even though it was not worth much, the staff treated me with surprising attention and detail finding new strings and recommendations on how to best restore myself. After starting lessons, staff has been patient and professional with all of my beginner questions. Shout-out to Charlie! Exceptional helping me find whatever I've needed! No pressure, never up-selling, just supportive and kind. 2 days ago I walked in looking to buy a specific model guitar and Charlie (again) took time to help me find a different guitar that better matched my goals and style... I am beyond thrilled with the sound and playability!I cannot recommend the Cary Guitar Center enough.
J.Bully is BullyCity: It may take a minute to get to you, but they are usually helpful and always knowledgeable
E B: It was busy and they were understaffed. Not a single person asked if they could help, was in the store for over a 1/2 an hour.
Guilfer Coro: Excellent place very good pianos 🎹
Kevin Chamberlin: I came in to return an online order and it was a very easy process. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Jhon C. R.: Excellent product and price
B. Coppage: Called in today just to ask if a particular drum head was in stock. The guy asked me what size and type, and as soon as I told him he got real short with me told me he was too busy to help me. So I guess I'm going to 2112 Percussion instead.
Michael Shanklin: Great store with helpful people. Would recommend
Mac McCord: Good service!
TOSHIAKI TAJIMA: 今回は付添で同行しただけでギターが好きな人や趣味でやってる人からすればけっこういろんなギターがあるしキーボード等もあるので訪れるのもいいと思う
E E: Staff is either unwilling or unable to help with any questions you might have, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a musical instruments store. Couple that with the fact that you can’t try most of the things in the store before you buy them, you’re essentially better off just shopping online or going somewhere else.

Triangle Strings: what do users think?
Kaily Schenker: I just picked up my cello after getting it worked on at Triangle Strings and I couldn't be happier. They were extremely affordable, and did excellent work. I also had to leave it for a bit longer than I would have liked because of other commitments, and the pick up process was totally painless. Really great communication too. Thanks again!
Bryan Rawls: Triangle Strings is THE place to have work done on stringed instruments. Jerry and the crew are knowledgeable professionals, capable of handling repairs, major and minor, as well as touch ups. It is the only place I take my fine instrument (an 1888 Colin Mezin) and also where I recommend students go for violin rentals. No matter your string instrument needs, Triangle Strings can get the job done
Lillie: These people know what they are doing when repairing instruments. We took an instrument made around the 1940's that had several ailments, and we were delighted to pick it up today in a much better condition. But that was not the best part. We asked if they would play it before we left, and we were beaming like grand parents over a new born baby. We would not hesitate to take any stringed instrument for repairs.
D DeMarco: Had my German bow rehaired twice here now, excellent and reliable service. The wait time for an appointment date was about a week give or take, but it was worth it for me. Gave it fresh new hair and cleaned all the rosin build up. Plays very nicely, will definitely be getting my bow rehaired here again next time.
Chris Cheshire: Excellent experience buying my first cello. Being able to try a few different cellos and bows there, then having them on trial at home for a short period was very helpful. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process.
Fay: We love Triangle Strings! My daughter started to learn violin five years ago and we have been renting violin in different sizes from this business. Excellent services! Front desk receptionists are very friendly, courteous, patient, and helpful. Sebastian is our favorite! One time, we spent almost an hour trying different violins and finally selected one. However, after playing for a few weeks at home and the music studio, my daughter did not like the sound and wanted to look for more options. Once again, Sebastian kindly presented three new instruments to her, and upon our request, he helped my daughter pick one that she likes very much. She is still using this instrument and grateful for Sebastian's help!
Leslie Fox: Friendly, helpful employees. They are always helpful for me, being a new violin parent who is just learning how all of this works.
yang hongming (三弦): Very good repair experience. My violin bridge was transported out, and the tone of my own adjustment has not been good. After adjusting the tone by a young violin repair technician, the tone has improved a lot. I am very satisfied. Thank you very much! Very professional!
Em Ni: What a poor experience. I walked in about 20 minutes early for my appointment which was originally set for 1 PM I was told that I had would have to come back at my appointment time. The woman at the front never asked me what I was therefore and then after the fact asked me for my name before she couldn’t find me in the system and I said that was odd because I was told to come in at 1 PM and I already had a rental contract she said it would’ve been her emailing me. After essentially pulling teeth and her barely getting my information she brought someone out from the back and he told me it would be helpful to have an appointment I explained I did have an appointment I was there just a few minutes early yes I did have a rental contract. It’s almost like the woman looked at me and just didn’t wanna help for some odd reason. Very judge you Janet experience instead of actually trying to help us. Perhaps the ongoing service will be better but so far I’m not impressed and I have no idea why my daughters private school recommended this place.
Katie Holbrook: Great customer service!! They did a really great job restoring my great grandfather's violin. Thanks!!
Denise Pickford: Very professional and helpful.
Surya GV: Got strings changed. Was completed very well
Isa delva: Super customer service! I was pleasantly surprised when I was expecting to be there for a long time while the violin was fixed but they did it right away and I was on my way out 10 minutes later. They have very nice and capable personal. Super professionals! I highly recommend this place.
Ray Lloyd: Wonderful service & kind people
K M: WOW!! I am so happy with the quality of service I received from Triangle Strings. I called late this afternoon to make an appointment to set the sound post and strings on my cello, and got the friendliest response. I was told that there was an opening today at 3, it’d only take about 10 minutes, and the service was free (SO AWESOME)!When I got there, the gentleman was super attentive, explained everything well and with genuine care/detail, and went beyond my expectations. He even tuned my strings, walked me through my new tuner/metronome, more! So awesome, so happy, and definitely will be back for all my future cello needs. Thank you so much!
Patricia Lugar: Professional fast service for cello. Will be going here from now on
Joyu Lee: Best bow rehair services- Hands down! Please check out triangle strings for the rental program- the staff is professional, knowledgeable, and the instruments are HIGH quality- your child, your loved ones, or if you have been thinking about playing violin/ cello / viola yourself- this place will give you great guidance.
Witold Niesluchowski: High class establishment
Kayla Bender: Great service and friendly staff. Definitely went above and beyond to help us out.
Dredlin Rodriguez, CPA: I went to Triangle strings looking to have my daughter’s violin checked. Lucy welcomed us and was very nice and helpful. Then me met Sebastian who in a bit was able to identify what was wrong with the violin. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was also very nice. I definitely recommend this place!!
L. J.C.: Great service, friendly staff, and wonderful quality instruments!

Azure Violins: what do users think?
Tanajah Lea: great business & great owners!
Brandt Nichols: I highly recommend this place! My violin was sounding a little off and Kari was extremely helpful. She took time to help give my violin the evaluation and tune-up it needed without imposing unnecessary work or costs.
Louis Guillama: Kari and Channing do a great job welcoming their guests and finding the right solution for their needs. They have a good selection of violins and cellos and Kari's expertise as a luthier is invaluable. It's wonderful to deal with people who share your love of music and instruments. I highly recommend them.
Lisa Barbour: Was a walk-in with a last second repair need. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Very impressed. They've won our business, and Millbrook High School, which is a large orchestra, will be given our recommendations to visit their store.
Anna Hilla: Excellent service! My violin string broke and they were able to replace all 4 violin strings same-day! Also very reasonably priced.
Stephen Fagg: Recently got a month of guitar lessons with them. What an amazing group of people!!! Had a couple of times where I wasn't able to make it via my scheduled appointment times and they worked with me to re schedule during a different time. If it wasn't for me going back over the road (truck driving) I'd continue doing business with them. Very attentive and really cared about teaching.
