The girl accidentally told me they were open on Mondays so when I couldn’t make a reservation and called the office they honored it. It was a great time. Beautiful machine and Pam was awesome in making sure the riders safety was first and foremost and a very detailed map and guidance throughout! Thank you guys for the experience!!!

The staff is extremely easy to work with and have always been prompt in answering any questions I may have prior to booking online. My 14 year old daughter was very comfortable with the instructor during her jet ski lesson. The equipment for rent is in great condition and they have always been punctual with the rental times. I can’t say enough positive things about this company! I will continue to rent from them in many many summers to come!

He should have checked thoroughly before being so rude and making such accusations.

Tama Coleman: Very disappointing experience. Buyer beware. I had signed a contract, but had not made the deposit. When I called back to do that - they told me - they could not accommodate my order.I found another company - luckily - who made sure they told me I needed to pay quickly or I would lose the tent...That is how this should have been handled. A quick call or an email saying I needed to pay immediately is what a real professional company would have done.

Hatem Tagel-Din: I rented a helium tank from them. I thought I will be saving money this way. I was told I will pay for the amount I use of helium. No one ever checked the meter before I get the tank. I did not comment on this. When I returned it, they measured the meter I ended up paying $152 for less than 80 small size balloons (like 8-9 inches diameter) which almost double what I would have paid if I get two tanks from Walmart. I was told I used 800 units!!!. This was my first and last experience

Brandon Greene: These are my people! I've been renting various equipment for them for years. Miss the South Saunders St location. Prices are usually cheaper than those big name rental places. I can also honestly say if they don't have a piece of equipment available, they will call the competition (usually Holland) to see if they have it available for you! Now that's not only customer service, its understanding a customer's needs.

LaReyce Troyano: I’m not quite sure why I haven’t done this before! I’ve lived in the Triangle for over 10 years and have never rented anything to take out on the lake. Now I’ll never go back to just swimming and basking on the shore. I got a SUP for the first time and it was amazing. The reservation and pickup process was super easy, and the location of the lockers is convenient. I paid $29 after tax for three hours of use. All of the equipment (paddle, board, life vest, fin, push air pump with hose) was in the bag and free of missing pieces or holes. My only concern was the storage bag, which had clear tears in it. Overall, 10/10 experience, and I will be recommending to all lake lovers. I will be returning for more 🏄🏽‍♀️

Zi: Several essential equipments were missing: the fin and half of the telescoping paddle. The return process was very chaotic, since the next users were booked at the exact same time as our return time. The next batch of customers straight started demanding missing equipments from our lockers instead of the lockers they booked. They were also pestering us about how to fix broken paddles and such that a WakeRack customer service agent should be handling. Please send employees to maintain your equipments and improve your business process.

Sam Hurley: Really easy and affordable to rent. Staff was very communicative and helpful. A paddleboard was returned damaged so they called me beforehand and offered to switch me to a kayak and gave me an extra hour for free. Will definitely rent again.

Karin Hoyt: We rented kayaks. One of them had a leak in one side and I capsized. Neither of the oars fit together correctly so my husband had to use half an oar and mine wouldn't stay locked together due to the mechanism being broken. But I lost it when I capsized so that's for the best. We were super disappointed.

Lauren Howard: We recently had a negative experience with WakeRack. We rented two SUPs and both the booking and pick-up process were smooth. We drove to the nearest boat launch and started inflating. We had watched the instruction video and were aware of how the valve works, but the valve on one of the boards was broken so a lot of air would leak out when the pump was removed (it would not pop into the up/inflate position). We inflated the board twice which was a lot of work before realizing that it was not going to work. We called customer service and they gave us a code to another locker, so we drove back to the locker switch out the boards after an hour of trying to figure this out and pumping. Unfortunately the replacement board had the same issue. We inflated that one three times before we resigned to letting as little air leak out as possible while quickly putting the cap on. It took us over 2 hours to get onto the water and at that point we were already exhausted. The customer service agent that we spoke with was not very helpful and we had to ask for extra time and a discount to make up for this. We loved the idea of the flexibility of an inflatable SUP rental, but the equipment was not up to par.

Malina TinyKittenTitan: Love, love loved it!!!! We rented from the Jordan Lake locale on a lark. Even last minute we we're easily able to get two - on our timeline! The cost was literally a fraction of any competitor (We spent less than $100 for 7 hours and 2 SUP) and possibly more convenient and safe in these Covid times. Thanks! We'll be back next weekend.

Luanna Jiang: Great experience and great business idea. Super convenient for customers. We just picked up the paddle board directly from a locker, and it was just next to falls lake. They picked our phone call instantly and answered all our questions. The board was of good quality and we enjoyed it a lot. Thanks and we’d definitely try out their Jordan lake and Kerr lake rental in the near future.

Nick Hester: The product is good and the process is fine. I was surprised to realize it was just a locker at a gas station (think Amazon Locker), but it turned out fine. The only thing you miss is the personal aspect of renting something from a brick-and-mortar place and being able to ask questions to real people. But if you know all of that going in, then it works out fine. Another thing to consider is that you have to inflate them before use (with an included pump), so you'll probably spend the first 15 minutes getting set up, and your arms are a little tired before even getting to the water. The kayaks probably take way longer, but the paddle boards are pretty quick and easy to inflate.The only thing I might suggest to the company is the make a poster with some local info to put on the lockers so you don't have to go to the website to look up things like where the nearest boat ramp is or what exactly should be in the locker (these things are all on the website, but once you're there it'd be nice to have them in print).All that said, I'd recommend it to a friend. Great price and excellent customer service.Tip: be sure to inflate the Paddleboard all the way. I thought I did but when got on it on the lake it was a little soft. Still had fun paddling around on it though.

Commercial Dance Intensive: Why didn't someone think of this sooner?! Such a great idea. Easy pick-up, great equipment that was simple to set-up. Loved how they packaged everything and the ease of picking it up at the lockers. We rented for the whole weekend and took to our lake house. Will def do again!

Mary Beth Dahlstein: So disappointed! We had 3 people book yesterday afternoon for the 3pm time slot. Only 1/3 actually got what they requested. None of the paddle boards were returned on time. One of my friends waited over an hour and the board was never returned. She attempted to call and they never answered. I gave it two stars because the one we did get was in good condition and had everything included. Beware if you have plans they may change quickly depending on if the people before you choose to return or not!
