A. C: Nightmare! I purchased a gown from this store 6 months ago, it finally arrived 2 months before my wedding and came to find out that the dress looked different from the sample. It had more pleats than the original dress. It made my waist look like a square and was not what I agreed to get, the special moment was ruined my dress was ruined. I explained to them how upset I was about this, I requested a refund. They offered to make alterations to make look more similar to the original one but I was not going to pay for something that I did not order. They said that all sales are final no matter if it does not look like the dress you agreed to purchase. On the receipt they state that the designer has the right to change some aspects of the dress but I didn't think it was going to be such a big difference. I started looking for a new dress since this store took a long time to give me a solution and answer. Thank God I was able to find a dress somewhere else at the last minute. I regret so much ordering a dress from here I would not bring my family and friends here. The dress was very expensive but the quality is not compared to what I paid.From the beginning the atmosphere is uncomfortable, I always felt like I didn’t belong there or like I didn’t have money to pay there. Funny because I went to much nicer bridal stores and never made me feel like that. This place doesn’t allow to take pictures of the gowns or even touch them! Not even the nicer bridal stores do this. At the first appointment, they give up an incentive 10% value of your dress, to use in the store but it felt like you end up paying for that incentive they just add it to the dress cost, and their prices are higher than other places, even if I wanted to use the incentive for accessories in the store you end up paying almost regular price because their prices are high. I went to a few bridal stores where the experience was much better. I highly recommend other stores like coastal knot bridal, Gilded bridal, Simply Blush, New York Bridal and groom, a&bé bridal shop, Vow's, one of the next experiences I had was White of Raleigh bridal boutique. Even David's Bridal was better than this place. I found my reception dress at Carolina Bridal World and they even ordered the dress according to my height I didn't have to worry about alterations. This was my experience. I had to pick up the dress otherwise they were going to charge me for storage. I lost more than 3,000 dollars. I hope this does not happen to a future bride. Good Luck.

Working with them was a smooth, easy process that simplified the wedding planning process. I would recommend Lana Addison to anyone looking for their wedding dress. Their prices are reasonable, and the staff is lovely!
Starling Shan: I had a wonderful bridal appointment with Katherine. She was genuine, friendly, and very easy to talk to. I felt my needs were well understood and she picked a dress that I loved more than the ones I picked myself. It was a stress-free and highly satisfying wedding dress selection process. I'd definitely recommend this experience to others!
Brittany Boandl: The women in the shop were absolutely lovely. Notably though you cannot take pictures in the gowns because of some designers rights/copyright. If you're someone who needs to reflect and see a picture after the fact this spot might not be for you (I personally looked back at pictures from other shops where I loved the dress on and later looking at the pictures I hated how it looked, considering pictures are what will look back at after the day, it was an important thing for me to reflect on). Of the many places I searched for gowns this shop definitely had the least amount of variety in styles and gowns BUT they do have a lot of options to add design features if thats something you're interested in.
Nadine Michael: Went to a 4:30 appointment and it felt rushed as the salesperson was trying to leave for the day. I didn’t feel like my opinion was being heard about trying other dresses. Also I bought the dress on the same day regardless of all this which also felt rushed as I didn’t get the chance to read what I was signing. They offer a 10 percent incentive if you purchase a dress during the first Visit that would go towards accessories. They barely had any! Also the accessories they had were damaged. So much for the 10 percent. Not the best bridal shopping experience in the least.
Sonia Dubiansky: We were a little disappointed in our experience here today. Our consultant did a fantastic job picking the first dress for the bride to try on, and we all LOVED it. It would've been the ONE if we hadn't found out shortly after that the dress had been discontinued. This was absolutely devastating news since she had already tried on the dress and loved it.We also felt like this was not the most body-positive experience. Other stores have been very accommodating and understanding of plus-size bodies which we didn't really feel here.Overall, not a terrible experience but definitely would not recommend to a friend given the devastating mistake that was made :(
Erin Harrelson: I scheduled 2 appointments on the same day to try on wedding dresses. My first appointment was at Lana Addison and needless to say, I cancelled my second appointment! The girls at Lana Addison were wonderful. They helped me find my perfect dress in what seemed like just a few minutes. They made the whole process very fun and very easy.
Jenna Donald: I bought my dream dress here a few weeks ago! Caroline sat with my mom, sister and I for a short time to go over what I was looking for in a dress and she looked over my Pinterest inspiration page. Legitimately, the first dress she put me in was the dress I bought. It nailed every single thing I was looking for and more! I tried on a few more until she suggested I tried the first back on, and I just knew it.I loved my experience here and would recommend to anyone to come get their dress here! The dresses are fairly affordable and they make the experience very intimate/exclusive.
Xochitl Hall: I had the best experience trying on wedding dresses and saying yes to the dress at Lana Addison. Lindley did a great job of listening to what designers I loved and what I wanted in a dress and pulled dresses that were exactly what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about each and every dress I tried on and made sure that I felt confident during the entire appointment. I tried on quite a few dresses and ended up saying yes to the second dress I tried on. I’m so in love with it and can’t wait for my dress to come in. I never once felt pressured or rushed. Lindley was incredibly patient, attentive, and helpful during the whole process. I cannot say enough good things about this bridal boutique! I highly recommend looking for your wedding dress here.
Mariah Snyder: I had a truly miserable experience at Lana Addison as I was pressured into buying a dress that I was unhappy with. I‘d said multiple times that I didn’t think it was the one and that I needed to sleep on it, but stupidly let myself be talked into it anyway. A sales rep with any moral conscious should have recognized that it was not the dress for me and let it go. Unfortunately, this one did not. I called the very next day asking them if I could cancel the order and was told no, it’s already been placed. Any other bridal shop I spoke to about this situation was floored that I couldn’t cancel ONE DAY later. I asked if I could choose another dress from their store for that price or more, anything to not have to wear this dress that I knew wasn’t right and was told „it’s Just Dress regret, it happens to everyone, wait until you see it and fall in love with it again.“ (Apparently they’d forgotten that I didn’t like the dress in the first place). After numerous calls, emails, tears, and more begging, they agreed to let me choose another dress by the same designer; unfortunately I was unable to find a one that I liked. Luckily, the designer released a spring collection shortly thereafter so I asked if I could try those on. Lana Addison was going to charge hundreds of dollars (which would not go toward the dress) just to ship them in to try on. Interestingly enough, they were having a trunk show with this designer a week later and neglected to tell me. I ended up asking another store to bring the dresses in to try on (who funnily enough did NOT charge to bring them in) and found one I liked.Eventually I was happy with my dress but dealing with Lana Addison (and the owner particularly) was an absolute nightmare and made my dress shopping experience- something I should look back on with joy- truly miserable.The ONLY highlight at this store was Caroline who maintained composure and a kind attitude all throughout this experience. I‘m sure she probably hated working with my by the end of it, but she never let it show which I was grateful for- thank you Caroline for being the one saving grace.If you do unfortunately find your dress here, I would recommend having alterations done elsewhere as they are exorbitantly overpriced at Lana Addison.

Madison: I had an amazing experience picking out my dress last summer, I came in by myself and felt like the consultant really understood my vision. Once I picked the dress they were so accommodating for me to bring my sister in law back to see it before purchasing. My dress ended up coming in early which was an amazing surprise for a COVID bride!

Caroline Chandler: I had an amazing experience working with Caroline at Lana Addison!! I had been to 6 dress shops and was feeling overwhelmed when I made my appointment with Lana Addison. Caroline listened to what I had liked in dresses and picked out a great selection for me to try on. I narrowed the selection down to two dresses from the same designer. I loved different aspects of each, so Caroline called the designer while we were in the store and we were able to customize a dress that incorporated the pieces I loved from both dresses. She was so patient with me and my mom and I can't wait to wear my custom dress for my wedding next November!!

I ordered my dress in plenty of time for my December wedding and received a call late May that the dress was finished and would arrive soon.Two months later I called to follow up and learned the dress was never shipped. One month later I learned that the dress was in the shop but no one had called. Two weeks later I went to pick up the dress and found out they forgot to sew buttons onto the back. Two weeks later the dress was finished with faux buttons instead of real ones (though I had paid an extra $150 for them).When they had finally finished I went to try it on and it was so large I felt like I was swimming in it. They quoted me almost $1000 to tailor the dress (almost half the price of the dress) because it had been ordered so large (they did take my original measurement).The lace up both sides was ripped when I got the dress in multiple places. I was informed the best they could offer was 10% off alterations.Over all they were kind but the product and customer service made it really hard for me to recommend this shop.

She is a gem who goes above and beyond.Update 9/28: I recently got married on 9.17.2022 and Alina helped me get to the finish line. She is so incredibly helpful, so kind, and remarkably patient. She is gifted at dealing with emotional, stressed family members. I wish I would have met Alina earlier, because I would have hired her to run the whole show at my wedding. She is simply that good in all things wedding. I can't wait to go back to Alina again for advisory, suggestions, and ideas. She is on it and super knowledgeable.

I am super thankful they were able to get in touch with the designer who actually discontinued the color before I needed more of the dresses. I took away a star because when we were there, the girl who took us rushed us out. It was time for them to close and she was super adamant about “wrapping things up”. I don’t think big decisions like these should be feeling rushed. But overall, I recommend going there!

Abigail Chance: Update: still love this Bella Bridesmaid location! My bridesmaids all bought dresses here for my wedding. They arrived in time and were wonderful, and were the right size. Would recommend highly!!This Bella Bridesmaids location is awesome, and their staff really cares and goes above and beyond for you. My 5 bridesmaids (all in different cities) were able to try on the dress sample I chose and when one location didn't have the samples, the kind ladies at this store shipped one of theirs to my bridesmaids' store location so she could try it on at her appointment. Would recommend ordering from here! They are so helpful and organized.
Julie Walsh: They did a great job helping pick out dresses for my bridesmaids and were very understanding when we didn't make a decision the day of our appointment. They continued to check in with me until we were ready to move forward. The only complaint I would have is they measured all of my bridesmaids incorrectly - basically told them to order a size larger than they really needed to. Two of the girls ended up getting remeasured and were recommended a smaller size - which saved them a fortune in alteration fees!

There was a small delay with the shipping but they kept us updated every step of the way.No matter where you go, they have amazing staff and helped us all look good!
Laura Smith: Sadly the customer service wasn't great. I was excited to come try on dresses and take my time, but I was told I could only try on 3 of the 11 dresses my bride had picked out for the bridesmaids. I felt like I was very much in the way and rushed. I hope this can be fixed because this is a great location and has a lot of potential to be a wonderful store. I've had much better experiences at other locations.
Jackie: The measurements were way off. The chart said I was between 12-14 and they ordered me a 16. I wish I had went down a size. They tell you you’re better safe than sorry ordering a little bigger. It’s not acceptable when the alterations end up costing more than the dress itself, I feel their measuring needs to be more accurate. This not only happened to me but a few other girls in the bridal party.Not to mention the sales associates are rude. They barely answer the store phone and emails were left unanswered. It took multiple tries to finally get someone to answer.Bella Bridesmaids in Huntington lost my business for my future wedding. You’re better off going to David’s Bridal or Azazie for a fraction of the price.
Jess Mayo: The staff at Bella is phenomenal and incredibly willing to work with you to find your vision. I had a bridesmaid out of state who was able to stop by her local Bella, pick out her dress, and have it shipped to her with plenty of time for alterations. I definitely recommend shopping at Bella for your wedding!

Chalice Overy: This was a great experience! I'm a fashion savvy consignment shopper that hates paying retail for anything, much less something I'm only going to wear once. Beautiful & Borrowed had a great selection with a great range of prices! It was the first time I found a dress I could gush over. And even though I'm a no frills kind of shopper, I really appreciated the experience Stacy created. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a sign with my name on it, before entering a beautiful space. Stacy was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I have several months until I have to "say yes to the dress" and will likely wait until after the big wedding season to see what else comes in before making a final decision. But I feel confident I will find the perfect dress at Beautiful & Borrowed!

Amber R: This was my very first appointment to try on wedding dresses. I was contacted days ahead of my appointment to get an idea of what I may be looking for. On the day of, walking in, we were greeted immediately and my consultant, Ajia showed us to a couch. She took down some notes on what I was looking for (I didn’t have a lot of ideas ), let us browse for a few minutes and make some possible picks and she found some options based on my thoughts. She was very professional and continued to pull dresses as we started to hone in on what looked good on me. After 6 or 7 dresses, we found the perfect dress! I had happy tears as soon as she added the veil. Did not think that would happen! After another appointment later in the afternoon that was not as pleasant, we came back to Savvi. The manager immediately recognized me when we came in and Ajia as well as other consultants celebrated with me saying yes to the dress! I felt so special and well taken care of. However, I live 4 hours away from this store. I messaged them and they contacted the designer and were able to ship me the dress of my dreams to Tennessee for my elopement. Shipping was incredibly fast, maybe 2-3 days? A girl named Callie helped me and got everything worked out for me and she was wonderful! So so sweet and customer service was a 10/10.

JTY Runs: Bride here! Havent had the wedding yet, but wanted to share our experience with Larisa! We bought my wedding gown from Larisa, and had the dress altered with her. She is so wonderful to work with, and made the whole experience amazing, easy and stress fee! Cannot say enough good things! I came in from out state because my mom lives in NC, and we found her boutique. Cannot say enough good things about her! Photo with Larisa ~ will post dress photos after the wedding! Thank you Larisa for contributing so much to what is sure to be a joyous day 3 !!!!Edit: Photos added from the beautiful ceremony and the gorgeous work Larisa did on the dress! We had a Disney themed wedding on the water, and the style of the dress was perfect to capture the flow (and sparkle) of the water and reminded me so much of the dress in the animated little mermaid movie towards the end when she exits the water. Kathleen Klein: Larisa is so friendly and easy to work with. I went to her several years ago to alter my wedding dress and was so happy with the result. The dress was very long, but instead of hemming the whole dress evenly (like how it was made), she came up with the idea to make a train out of the excess fabric. It turned out beautifully. Just went back again to alter a wedding guests dress. Will keep going back to her for all future dress alterations! Thank you!
Megan Wallace: Please read this review before considering going to this shop.I brought my wedding dress in to be altered 3 months before my wedding date. Larisa demanded full payment up front, charged a $75 credit card fee, and said the only time I could pick up the dress was the week before my wedding (she said no to a second fitting). The total charges were $1,325.00 for the alterations (to hem the dress, bring the top in, shorten the straps, and add a bustle) and an additional $250.00 for the dress to be steamed. With the credit card charge added in, the total ended up being $1,649.00. I went to this appointment by myself, and she took advantage of that fact. She intentionally and predatorially took advantage of the fact that I have not done this before and was by myself.Within 5 hours of me leaving the shop, I went back to cancel the transaction and get my dress back. The shop was closed. I returned the next day at 11:00 AM, and still the shop was closed. I was then forced to call her and say that I want a refund, and that I want to pick up my dress. She was unpleasant and unreasonable, stating that the only time the dress could be picked up was nearly a week later and that she had already started cutting (less than 24 hours from when I dropped of the dress). I find that very hard to believe, considering the only option I had to pick up my dress was a week before my wedding, which was 3 months away.There is a lot more to this story, including her not giving me a full refund, making rude comments about my mother-in-law's nationality, telling me "I'm too young to speak to her like that" when I was assertive about getting a refund and hanging up on me. She also admitted that if I went to another seamstress, they would charge me $900. When she was presented with the fact that she took advantage of me, her response was "well, why did she come by herself?" - two clear admissions of her horrible morals and lack of character. Overall, she is racist, ageist, and volatile. Please, please, please do not go to her for service!
Marissa Ferrell: I can't say enough good things about Larisa. I found her through my sister-in-law who also used her to alter her wedding dress. When I contacted her, I was already on a little bit of a tight timeline, however my dress delivery date kept getting pushed back over and over again by the designer. It was really a huge stressful nightmare but Larisa was so patient and kept reassuring me that we would get it done even if she had to stay up all night to do it. When I finally got it and was able to take it in to Larisa, (about 4 weeks before my wedding) she absolutely worked magic. She was so quick at the fitting and knew exactly what she was doing with my dress, even though it was kind of an unusual design. And she put the coolest bustle in it that went SO well with the style of my dress, I honestly liked the look of it with the bustle better than without. She is very kind and so knowledgable and has been sewing her whole life. My dress fit me like a glove the day of the wedding, it looked better on me than I ever could have hoped. And it was ready exactly when she said it would be, she really took the all the stress out of my tight timeline. If you are looking for someone you can fully trust with the most expensive dress of your life, Larisa is your person, she will not let you down.
Brenda: Larisa’s craftsmanship, attention to detail and overall care of my wedding dress was exceptional. The dress was made up of two very thin layers of crepe fabric. Larisa stitched boning on the sides to prevent the fabric from sagging, added cups, the bustle, altered the length, and steamed the dress. The dress fit like a glove and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

She got the alterations done in only one fitting and it fit exactly how it was supposed to. Also, she got it bustled, which highlighted the lace accents on the train. I absolutely loved it! Larisa also has a gorgeous selection of dresses, and even though I love my dress, I wish I would have know about her before and try some of her creations. I live 3 hours away and she assured me it would be done with only the initial fitting and ready for pick up in November. Larisa was not wrong. My dress fit absolutely perfectly when I went to pick it up in November. She moved up the lacing detail almost 6 inches from the bottom to fit my height, took the dress in in all the right places, and adjusted the lace straps to fit. It looked like the dress was originally made specifically for me and I felt absolutely beautiful. Everyone needs to go to Larisa Style for all their tailoring needs!!
