Carolina Tiger Rescue: what do users think?
Tiffany Anderson: Very interesting info about the animals
Panther MS: Do not go when very hot and humid, the bigger cats are not active during this time at twilight tour. Then again you have to book some time ahead so you will not know the weather outcome that day of your visit. Tour guide is very passionate about the animals and very knowledgeable. I want to say his name is Tim but unsure.
Ray Rivera: I visited today with 10 yr old granddaughter and wife. I saw true compassion and caring in the staff. The tigers, lions, etc, appeared to be well cared for. They appear to have safety in mind and I recommend visiting and supporting this worthy cause. They also have a nice gift shop. I will probably visit again.
Jenn Mercer: Tigers, gloriously content tigers taking naps in the sun, bobcats, others cats, a New Guinea Singing Dog, gorgeous vultures waiting for leftovers, servals hoping to catch the vultures, a bunny who took a very wrong turn, but was smart enough to stay on the right side of the fences, and many others unseen.
Jessy Hauschild: I’ve been here twice now, we absolutely love coming here and learning about the animals in their care. We had a rambunctious group but Ms Heather and Ms Maryssa was awesome and very patient/kind to our group. Thank you for a great experience!
Perry Engram jr: Very cool
Emily Wing: Amazing experience and beautiful animals. Will 110% be back
Sylvia Mercer: They clearly take very good care of the kitties and the tour was super informative and cool. Very happy big cats. Also they had a barn cat named Moldemort who stole my heart
Stanley Stasiewicz: The guide was very knowledgeable and was a very good speaker. The animals didn't always cooperate and make themselves available but hey, that's just the way it is. However, the guide filled in the gaps. A worthwhile experience.
Shannon Benedetto: Staff has issues with volunteers. They kick people off the list after 2 trainings when they don't know anything about the volunteers. Nobody knows me at the tiger rescue and somehow they're complaining about past issues.. the staff is overdramatic
Barbara Murdock: We enjoyed it.
Michael Tallarico: Awesome place to raise awareness of wild animals. Tigers, lions, servilles, caracals and more. Greg was very informative. We can't wait to return
Vanessa Graziano: This was a great experience. We did the twilight tour with the volunteers (Tom and Hank, I believe). The tour was educational, ethical and an all around good time. The rescue seems to be doing right by big cats, would recommend.
Wendy Gavin: 8 people in the group all had a great time. Our guide Ruth was wonderful. FYI try not to go when it's hot and full sun because the animals don't move around much.
Elliot Cramer: A wonderful well-run operation
Evelien Van Ekert: Loved our visit! Highly recommend.
Flo Muffin: Saw tons of big cats and learned lots, educational experience is great for kids!
Suzanne Fuller: Was a wonderful experience for the twilight tour. Highly recommend
Joey Joe Joe Jr Shabadoo: Very informative. Our guide knew her stuff and we enjoyed the Twilight Tour and watching a few of the cats get treats. It was a humbling experience to see how big these cats can get in person. Worth stopping in for a tour.
Paul Petkanas: My personal experience. This is a great place to go to learn ALL about the Tigers and other animals they house there. This is not a great place to bring children younger than about 12 years old. Very rough loose gravel trails and rocky dirt roads. Challenging for little legs to walk or adults to push a stroller. Also, poison ivy and fire ant hills!Bottom line, the animals are beautiful, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, but the younger kids in the group definitely got bored.
Beverly Clapp: My happy place!
