Jeremy Davis: We first contacted My Guys Remodeling in 2020 regarding James Hardie siding and new windows. We were only able to do windows at the time, but we stayed in contact with them as we prepared to re-do our 90’s house’s exterior siding. Dave was fantastic to work with in defining the job specification and quote information. Due to demand, we had to wait a few months for them to get started with the job. Once they started, they were off to the races.We have a 2,700 sf home and opted for slate gray James Hardie siding. Dave said it could take a couple of weeks for the install. The My Guys crew essentially finished the job in 4½ days! They also helped out by installing our new exterior lighting for us. Hardie isn’t cheap material, so if you go that route be prepared for a pretty hefty price tag. But we feel the price is completely worth it for the strong, beautiful, essentially maintenance-free home exterior.We would wholeheartedly recommend Hardie siding from My Guys Remodeling. They are a Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor so you can rest assured that they have been trained in installation of the product. Lori: We contracted with Jam to build a new screened porch, exterior deck, and paver patio. Chris and team were great to work with. Very good communication. In design stage Chris helped with some great ideas that we incorporated. One being a covered grilling porch that we love! The other was switching to pavers and not using a stamped concrete patio, better durability for our area. The build process was a bit long, but I don’t think it could move much faster. Time was dependent on inspections, materials, weather and personnel. We are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials used. Our build started July 2022 and completed Nov. Along the way we did change/add aspects to the build. Chris was always quick with advice and new estimates for us. He really listened and helped us get our dream space built. Joanna Facey: We hired the crew at Jam Carolina Exteriors to construct a tiered deck on our sloped back yard, connected to our existing deck. The first step was creating a design. Chris made absolutely sure we were 100% happy with the design before moving to the next phase of the project. We went through a lot of iterations to get to the best solution for our home. He was easy to work with and had plenty of creative ideas and good design advice. Jam Carolina then got all the paperwork together for HOA and city approval. As soon as we got the go-ahead, they sent their crew out to get started. The team of carpenters and deck constructors were friendly, considerate and did a great job of building the deck soundly and with an eye for detail. A lot of the details had to be worked out as we went along and both Chris and the construction crew took the time to talk us through the options and find the best solutions. We are really happy with the final result. It looks fantastic and has made our back yard a much more useable space, somewhere we enjoy spending time. M. Breazeale: JAM Carolina just finished our deck and screened in porch. They removed the old deck and built a 22'x14' screened porch with a smaller exposed deck. The work was of high quality and Chris was patient with all of our questions and changes. The item that really separated them from other companies we considered, however, was their willingness to design the space around our vision, home, and needs. Other companies we considered had great reviews and similar pricing, but none showed the creativity and willingness to design around our house and ideas. Throughout Chris was flexible with changes, frequently checked on the work, and was always responsive to questions. During the design process they don't push for upgrades (but will let you know options). Multiple nice unexpected features were included (as our design allowed) such as side screws for the floor and an "extended" rail for the open air. Highly recommend.Service:Porch construction

Christi Gray: Very Good ExperienceJam Carolina Exteriors was quick to schedule an appointment after I requested a quote for painting the exterior of my house - the quote came back within 1 week. The work was scheduled less than a month after receiving the quote. I had wood damage and Daniel and Mike did a great job with the repairs. There was more damage than expected and they showed me the damage and explained the cause. They contacted Chris who immediately came back with a repair cost (very reasonable) and we agreed on the additional work. Great attention to detail. Then Mario and his crew power washed and painted the house. They did a very good job painting the house. Towards the end of the project, I realized we had a problem with the color of a bay window. I contacted Chris and he was quick to say they would make it right and make sure it was what I wanted. They did EXACTLY that. Mario and his crew also did a great job protecting surrounding areas and cleaning up each day.
