Tyler Berdar: Jeff was great! He answered all of my questions, responded in a timely matter via text, and went above and beyond for my tint and PPF. Jeff is a professional and his service is fantastic. If you are thinking about taking your vehicle to top edge just do it!**UPDATE** I found an issue a week after taking back my Tesla. The PPF was coming off the front and Jeff took full ownership. Not only did he fix the issue be he gave me his personal car to use while I waited for the fix to be complete. Again, a professional!

Karl Fink: Just got the a tint for the Tesla yesterday! This team is super friendly and they get right down to it! I personally never got a tint before so I didn't know that it was normal for there to be a lot of tiny bubbles immediately after the job. They calmly explained that it's normal (bubbles are mostly gone by next day), gave me a card on what to expect over the next couple days, lifetime warranty and even added a printed sticker over the window switches to keep me from accidentally rolling down the windows while it cures. Emily Franey: I had to come here to get my windows de-tinted because my car wouldn't pass inspection here in NC otherwise. They gave me a super straightforward quote and before they finished they came to get me to explain that the back window was giving them some problems due to the way the tint had been applied originally. They told me how long it'd take to do it manually (many hours) and suggested that it'd probably be a lower cost to just find a place to replace the entire window itself. I always appreciate a business that tells you the truth, even if that means they're suggesting an option that results in them getting less money out of you.

John Lechner: Only Llumar dealer in the triangle. Wow, what a great job these guys did. I had two other tint jobs in the past few years and wasn’t 100% happy. The other guys said “random bubbles are normal” well not with Sun Protection. 6 months later it still looks perfect. They also offer AAA discounts and curbside service for contactless drops, can’t recommend enough.

A. Corbett: These folks did an excellent job on my truck a couple of weeks ago. It blends in fantastically and the protection it offers during these hot and muggy days is A1. They have great customer service and it didn’t take long at all to get it done. I waited to do this review until after having my vehicle out in real world conditions and it still looks super clean. Do yourself a favor and check them out. There are a lot of tinters in the area, but they get it right and don’t break the bank.

Ankur Gupta: I used Sun Protection last year to do some warranty work on my 2003 BMW 325I. I had my car tinted years ago with a particular film that had a lifetime manufacturer's warranty on it. The original tint work was done at a shop that has since gone out of business. Sun Protection was easy to schedule with even though I had gotten the original work done elsewhere and considering I was requesting to get this done during their busy season. The tech doing the work was very friendly and even made some observations on the back window, offering to set up another appointment to do that as well under the warranty.I would recommend their services and I'm planning on visiting this location again now that I've purchased a new vehicle to get the work done on that as well.

They are as good as any other hundreds of shops there, because their work is not top notch always.I got full front PPF and tint on all my windows and roof glass for my 2022 Tesla model 3. The work was subpar at best. What more disappointing is the price charged for this service. It was too expensive first of all, but the quality was very bad.I have lot of fingers formed under the bumper, hairs and dust settled few places. The fingers are already collecting dust.The tint has several small air bubbles which I was told it will disappear after some time. But I still see them.I am attaching few photos to show their work.So all the raving reviews I found on the internet are not true after all. Most of the reviews project one particular employee in particular sounds these reviews are dubious and fishy.I wont suggest anyone go here for any kind of specialized work like PPF and tint.Services:Paint protection,Vehicle window tinting

Elaine Gomsi: ShieldEffects was wonderful! I feel so much safer than when I had ADT. The police department spoke to my women's group and they even told us that having the security film for the house is so much better than an alarm, but they said that they thought that it was expensive. However, ShieldEffects is not that expensive and Ed, the owner is a former police officer and secured my front and back doors the way they should be done so now no one can break into my house. He even locks on my windows and motion lights outside for me. I could not be happier.
Grey Ghost: Ed answered my email for a quote right away, and he also called me on the phone to discuss options and pricing, etc.. He also gave me tips for other ways to secure our home (nothing he was selling), and was friendly and personable, as were his employees that also came. I got quotes for security film from other area places, and not only was Ed the quickest & most informative, his price beat the others (who even bothered to get back to me). They came within a week and if I hadn't seen it go up we would not even know the 8 mil film was there. They were clean and on time and respectful, and funny, too! A joy to work with, and obviously very knowlegeable about the products out there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
