Triangle Physicians for Women: what do users think?
Angela Giovinazzo: I’ve been in to see Dr. Cooper a couple times now and she is great. Super friendly, listens to you, and very knowledgeable. It’s hard to feel comfortable talking to doctors sometimes but Dr. Cooper makes it a safe space. The rest of the staff is also very friendly, from front desk to lab techs, everyone is lovely. It’s a pretty long wait to get in as a new patient, but worth the wait in my opinion and once you are in scheduling other appointments is quick. The portal is also great you can send your doctor a message and vice versa, they can add notes to your labs, etc. i sent a message and i got a call back within an hour to set up an appointment. Very happy to finally have found a clinic i am comfortable at!!
Julianne Dixon: Updated review - they have renovated their office so some of the complaints I had in the earlier post are no longer relevant. I also have come to really appreciate how good their communication is especially in comparison with some other offices and have felt in much better hands here than elsewhere. Their doctors and midwives have a lot of compassion when you are going through a difficult or uncertain situation. Would recommend.—I switched to this practice late in my pregnancy after my last ob/gyn practice suddenly stopped delivering at WakeMed Cary. This is one of the few practices in the area with a robust midwifery staff, so I chose it based on recommendations and the stellar reviews online. I will say that the midwives that worked with me were great for my labor and delivery, and I could recommend them wholeheartedly for that specifically. I also had a good experience with an acute problem, for which I was able to get a same-day appointment and the doctor was extremely caring and helpful. However, I often felt like 'just a number' at my prenatal appointments, and also felt that they did not empathize with my requests about my care and perhaps even judged me/looked down on me for making them. This location also feels old and some of the carpets have stains, the windowsills were dusty, and the bathrooms felt a bit grimy. Overall, I received adequate care but not the dream experience that many of the reviewers rave about. (2021)
Cary Home: I didn't even get a chance to see a doctor or specialist here. I had the run around from my PCP and insurance company and received help from Susan Komen Foundation to make an appointment. The SK rep had spoken to Triangle Physicans for Women and confirmed that not only were they in my network, but they had the type of specialist I needed to see. When I called to make an appointment myself, I was transferred to another staff who told me they did not have the type of specialist I need to see. I explained I was confused and I didn't understand. I have fibromyalgia (we get brain fog so it's hard to concentrate and stress makes it worse) and I have not lived in the US for 20 years, so I don't understand the healthcare jargon in this country - everything is ridiculously convoluted here for real. She told me to see a different type of specialist and I don't understand why Susan Komen had told me differently, she got angry with me suddenly when I explained I was having trouble understanding and abruptly said 'I'm hanging up. Bye!' I started crying. You need to have more kindness if you are dealing with patients. I don't want to go here after that experience, even if they do have specialists I can see. There's no need to get so aggressive with me... I wasn't aggressive at all and her response was really not professional or even humane.
Mirabela Ursut: Absolutely no! Went in 2 years in a row for my anual cosult, very impersonal all the staff and doctors. Last year I tried to reschedule my appointment, I could not get anyone on the line, I left a message no call back. Now I’m trying to get ahold of them again. After multiple attempts someone finally answers, I explained that I have some concerns and I would like to know if I could be seen, she sais a triaje nurse will call me… that did not happen, I tried to call again no answer. How can I trust such a provider?
H.W. Jones: If you’re looking for incompetence, congrats; you’ve struck gold. From the providers and midwives, to the billing and administrative staff, this place specializes in utter disrespect, inaccurate diagnoses and remedies, and nefarious billing. This office and its brain-dead staff are truly the gold standard of medical malpractice.
Maiar Martin: My experience was not great at all! From the wait time for my ultrasound and the comments made by the midwife. Continuously bringing up gestational diabetes even after 2 healthy pregnancy and never having it before. My weight was a discussion and automatically deemed me of being high risk. They did lab work and claimed that my liver function levels were elevated. They automatically assumed I had liver disease due to my weight and referred me to Cary Gastro specialist. Before even getting my results back from the specialist…they called me to let me know they are letting me go as a patient and referring me to a high risk doctor. This was 15 minutes after I messaged them that morning about my concerns/next steps if I do have issue with the liver. I asked them what could happen if I have liver disease, how does it affect the pregnancy/baby and what will they do to ensure I’m safe. They let me go without any warning that they could possibly do so after making my first payment. They basically said they weren’t equipped to deal with high risk pregnancies. Well, I got my results back this week from the specialist and my liver is okay. None of my liver functions were elevated. It’s funny to me how they let me go a week after making my first payment to them. Also asked me to keep my last appointment, which I cancelled because they are money hungry. Now I’ve wasted time and my money not only on them but on all of these scans/labs…I had to do for my liver. I could have saved all this money for my upcoming delivery/pregnancy with my new doctors. Great job stressing a pregnant women out for weeks, assuming I have liver disease with no guaranteed results to prove so, and then just letting me go/transferring me to a high risk doctor. I will never return to your office for even a routine check up or recommend you to any friend of mine.
Susan Paone: I have seen Dr Pearce and Dr Cooper. I appreciate that both doctors spent a good deal of time explaining things to me and answering all of my questions. They were informative and showed interest in trying to get to the root of my problems.
Kristen Cox: TP4W was an amazing experience for me with my first pregnancy. The doctors and midwives have amazing bedside manners and made sure my health was top priority. I ended up having pregnancy complications that were able to find early enough before it hurt me or my baby. Every single provider and midwife I met with truly listened to me. I also loved that the practice offers Centering with a midwife. This helped me so much as I went through my first pregnancy.
Hosanna Inteti: I almost want to have another baby just so I can have the experience of being cared for by the midwives here again. Wonderful people.
Bridget Denzel: Triangle Physcians and specifically Dr. Cooper have been great! As a new patient I've really enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Cooper. She is extremely friendly, patient, informative and answers all my questions thoroughly
Kirsten Moore: Quick and efficient.
Meena Mohan: They are all so efficient and helpful. They make sure that the patients are comfortable and cared for. I love my Doctor Lisa Grana
Aga Jochim: Very happy with this practice!
Francesca Camacho: So far I have a had a great experience with all the midwives I have met! They all seem very knowledgeable about their work and willing to listen to all concerns you may have. They are very friendly and take the time to get to know; which means a lot to me :)
Kathy Nesbit: Very friendly staff! No long waiting for an appointment.
Becky Paaso: Horrible experience. I am new to the area and was hoping to establish myself with a new physician and heard great things about this office. I went for my first visit and saw Dr. Rogers. He was condescending and gave me absolutely no helpful feedback. I suffer from depression and anxiety and I wanted to discuss my medications and whether I should switch and discuss what their impact could be on pregnancy. He kept saying “the textbooks say this” “you shouldn’t take anything now that you wouldn’t take while pregnant”every single question he refused to give me an educated compassionate response and inferred I shouldn’t be taking anything. I requested some labs just to check things out and today I come to find out that he didn’t actually order all of them. The nurse I spoke with today over the phone was compassionate and told me that she has heard this about Dr. Rogers from others as well. Why is he working there? Mental health and pregnancy is hard enough without a man trying to talk down to you for figuring out how to take care of yourself and future child. I shared my feedback with the office directly with their feedback form but never heard back. If you have mental health concerns or are looking for a physician who listens to you and has empathy, compassion and actually gives helpful feedback I would strongly advise against this clinic. Dr. Rogers needs some training in patient care and maternal mental health although he’s so arrogant I’m sure he things he knows everything. His knowledge on mental health medication is outdated.Edit to my review. I was contacted by an administrator after she read my review. No apologies just asked if I had any questions. Over and over I was told how respected Dr. Rogers is and how long he’s practiced. I was then asked to remove my review. It took me a long time to become open about my mental health struggles and be able to stand up for myself. The fact that someone tried to undermine my experience is unacceptable and confirms my stance on making this review.
Nina Freeborn: Kind and caring staff. Dr. Cooper showed compassion and understanding, she is knowledgeable and kind. A great experience.
Debbie Anderson: Office runs VERY efficiently. Brought back quickly and doctor came to the room quickly. Dr. Pearce, answered all my questions and was patient and excellent in explaining things. Highly recommend this practice.
Donna McPartland: Dr. Grana is kind, listens and above all wants what is best for her patients.
Felicia Sullivan: I've been going to Dr. Rogers for at least 15 years. He is very patient, kind, considerate, and thorough. He has vast knowledge concerning "female" issues. Dr. Rogers listens and has a genuine concern about his patients' health and wellness. His nurse Jennifer is so warm, approachable, and inviting! If an uncomfortable procedure has to be done, they both ease your stress and make it quick as possible. I highly recommend Dr Rogers!!!!
Sydney Crawford: TP4W has met and exceeded my expectations! They are very detailed and will take the time needed with you, all the way down to the billing office. I switched here after having a miscarriage that was extremely mishandled at Carolina Elite Womens Care in Garner. I switched to TP4W as soon as I found out I was pregnant again, and they saw me right at 6 weeks (which meant a lot to me), looked into all of my concerns, and have definitely help to put my mind at ease. Currently 23 weeks and all of my appointments have been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We especially like Sarah, one of the midwifes. I highly recommend TP4W for anyone looking for top notch care.

UNC OB/GYN at Panther Creek: what do users think?
Kila: GREAT provider very patient and informative.
alejadra bustillo: discrimination and bad practices.
K Chamberlain: Most of the staff are rude and belittling. Most of the midwives belittled my concerns and how I felt about how I was treated. I will NEVER use them again.
Jeffrey Chamberlain: Rude front desk and the midwife was dismissive of my wife’s concerns. Informed medical consent does not exist there. They tell her what to take with her pregnancy without letting her know what the possible side effects are unless she demands to know. Why take a drug first without knowing side effects Before taking? Is this not being informed?
Chavis in the City Real estate: After attending appointments at 2 local clinics in the area and not receiving proper care, I was told to go switch to unc. I have to say after just a few visits the care I receive is amazing. The staff is always so friendly and helpful! To have doctors and nurses who are attentive and caring really means a lot during this time! I would highly recommend to anyone that it pregnant looking for care!
Justin and Danielle Tingley: I have been seeing the midwives since 2018 and have liked every one of them. Adiah delivered my first baby in 2021 and was so comforting and supportive, especially post-delivery when I had an unexpected hemorrhage. She went with me to the OR and held my hand the whole time as I was terrified. I am pregnant with baby number 2 and am still receiving the same great care. I would recommend the midwives to anyone!
Daeton Pennington (Penny): Simply terrible my wife going on 32 weeks pregnant, scheduled at 11 we show up at 1030 for them to tell us the apt was at 10. No reminder no heads up her apt had been moved. But hey we might not be able to see you today but we can in 3 weeks…
Lena Harris: I had an appointment with Adiah Oyefesobi this week. Throughout the appointment she made unsolicited remarks on the cost of prior procedures and other future services, so much so that I felt like I was speaking with someone from an insurance company instead of a health care provider.Though there was some helpful information given, she approached the conversation with a critical tone, seemingly dissatisfied with the recommendations I had been following from my primary care doctor, as if I had been responsible for making my own referrals or ordering my own tests.Maybe she was having an off day, but following this appointment I will not be returning and had I known this would be the caliber of care I would receive I never would have gone in the first place. I expect more from the UNC Healthcare System.
Claire Daria: Rude front desk.
Meh M: Such a convenient location, wonderful clinic, staff, doctors, nurses! Nothing but great things to say about this office. Special thank you to front desk personnel Keisha for going above and beyond to make sure all care coordination is done accordingly. Dr. Malloy who managed my care throughout my pregnancy was incredible. My newborn and I are very happy and healthy.Highly recommend!
Amber Tedrick: I just wrapped up my 6 week postpartum appointment and have been happy with my entire pregnancy at this practice. I can only speak for the midwife practitioners but every midwife I met with was kind, patient, and really listened to me. There was only one midwife that I truly did not care for and I think that was just personality differences. The front staff was always courteous and quick to help. There was never a long wait at my appointments and it was always easy to get an appointment. I hate that other women didn’t have the same experience I had but I would recommend this practice!
Honestly Speaking: WARNING!!! UNCOMPASSIONATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, POOR COMMUNICATION. There is a reason the rating of this practice is so low!SHORT REVIEW:Some of the staff starting from the scheduling coordinators to the nurses and midwives simply JUST DON'T CARE. My health concerns were not always taken seriously. I felt like they just saw me as a number not a human being with feelings, therefore; there was lack of empathy or concern. There was a clear disconnect when it came to communication (within the staff) as far as medical procedures and treatment plans. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!LONG REVIEW:I had my first baby last year. I started coming to this practice at 7 months pregnant because I recently moved to area. I was impressed by the clean facility and short wait (at first). The nurse was friendly the midwife that I met first were okay. They rotate midwives so I had someone different almost every time. To be fair not all the staff, nurses or midwives were bad. The most consistent, compassionate and engaging midwives I've came into contact with were, Amanda O' Briant and Jenny Cox. They were both super friendly and took the time to listen. Adiah Oyefesobi was supportive, respectful of my birth plan and resourceful. They deserve 5 stars!Things took a dramatic turn during the delivery process and postpartum visits. I had a horrible birthing experience due to the lack of support, attentiveness and respect. Literally seconds after the birth of my child, nurses and midwives were talking amongst themselves about their personal-life drama as if my family wasn't in the room. I also had issues Postpartum that required in-person visits. The midwife I saw was not well educated in this field and on top of that, very rude. My medical questions were not answered thoroughly nor decently. I will not go back to this practice and will discourage any other woman that is expecting to do the same.
Kimberly Davis: Place was nice. No wait. Staff was nice, except the provider, Tolley. She was dismissive and insulting. She gave me information that was incorrect. I wouldn’t see her again if she was the last provider in NC. If you want a doctor or NP that cares about actually helping you and listening to your concerns, go elsewhere.
Kimberly Colucci: Had a great experience here with the PA, the lab/phlebotomy portion and the front desk staff. I HIGHLY recommend them. Very professional, courteous & knowledgeable.

Capital Area Ob/Gyn: what do users think?
Stephanie Cruz: I was looking for an office with availability as soon as possible and I found them. Dr. Michael Buckley was the one who saw me and he was very good. He took his time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. :)
GAYATHRI MUKUNDAN: Very polite staff and provides
Sarah Calaway: Waiting room smelled like cigarette smoke and having to speak to the nurse about my miscarriage in a hallway was not appropriate or acceptable. The doctor didn’t listen to me and for an unknown reason there were socks on the stirrups in the exam room, unhygienic and weird. This was the least professional health care centre i have ever attended
Alyssa W.: Dr. Nannapaneni and the staff are friendly and caring. They listen to concerns and respond to patient messages quickly. The wait time is more than reasonable.
Kendalton Draper: I would steer clear of this place especially if pregnant. They give off the vibe of a baby mill take on way to many patients to the point your doing the nurses part of the exam in a hall way. As well as they do not care to include the father in any discussions and barely seem to acknowledge the mother. The first appointment my wife and I we saw Dr. Buckley and to be honest he was doing my wife's breast exam to check for lumps and seemed to take an extra long time to do this we are on baby number 3 and I feel I know what an appropriate exam length is this took 5 times longer and then he turns and tada he's pitching a tent in his pants. A medical professional in the obgyn field that's a male should not be getting an election while examining patients period. And then proceeded to try and upsell us on every could think of to bill the insurance more. Do not let this man examine you. And find a better practice that cares.
Sheila Augustine: I have been a patient here for about 15 or more years! The doctors and the staff are awesome!! They are very capable and take care of their patients with respect!
Sonali Lalka: I would not recommend going to this Gyno. I scheduled my first appointment, with Dr. Nannapaneni, to figure out why my periods are so painful. The appointment was okay, but she suggested an IUD several times, even though I did not want an IUD. My next appointment was a pelvic ultrasound, followed by an appointment with Dr. Nannapaneni, at 10:50am. It did not start until 12pm though, which was very frustrating. She strongly suggested an IUD, again, for my issues, but I said No, because that was not something I wanted. Despite, this she kept pushing the idea of an IUD really hard, without giving much thought to other treatment options. I kept saying No to the IUD, and it was like she was not even listening to me.
safian syed: Front desk is rude and the waiting time is very bad. We had to wait for one hour before the doctor showed up
Ian Wilson: Front desk and Nurse were extremely rude to my wife, and observed them treating other people of Asian descent, and international women with very aggressive rude mannerisms and Kurt behavior. This place is awful. Unfortunately my Wife now needs to find another Doctor.
Shawn Perry: I try calling and they had the nastiest attitude I had ever experience from a doctor office just horrible.
Amoolya Prakash: My appointment was with a nurse practitioner who had her own agenda as I was a new patient, rather than conducting the tests that I went specifically for. The worst experience was with the most inefficient billing coordinator Leslie Euring who works there. I have been after her for 6 months now to fix incorrect billing codes that were used. The issue is still ongoing.
Nicole Miller: I’ve been seeing Christin Richardson for 7 years and I love her! She is great! Her staff are as well! Always treated well when I have a visit! Y’all are awesome!
Airyl Crabtree: Most of the staff is nice. The facility is also good. Wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but not too crazy long. I would not reccomend Dr Sellers, try a different provider
Crystal Miller: For the first few visits of my pregnancy they were allowing partners to come for ultrasounds. They took all of the proper precautions with screening, wearing masks, social distancing. I received an email a few weeks ago after the rise in Covid 19 cases stating that partners are not allowed to be present for ultrasounds any more. Our journey has been very long and hard to get to the point we are at. After spending our entire savings on fertility treatments and suffering a prior miscarriage we were naturally blessed with this pregnancy. With my 18 week ultrasound fast approaching my anxiety is growing with the realization that my husband will not be able to be present for the most important appointment of this pregnancy. They encourage FaceTime for the appointment but given my stress level and the previous loss I go into every visit as a nervous wreck. They are robbing my husband and I not only of the joy to experience this huge milestone together as a family but also taking away a support system that I desperately need during this time. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic but this precautions that they have been taking should be sufficient. The spike in cases isn’t a result of spouses coming to ultrasound appointments it was spiked by holiday travel that was advised against and disregarded. These are moments that my family and many others are missing out on and will never be able recover. I know this is hard to understand from the perspective of the medical professionals because they deal with pregnancy and ultrasound on a daily basis so it’s routine to them, but for family’s like mine that have been praying for this for such a long time, this is devastating. Please consider this and open ultrasound visits back up to partners.
Ravi Kumar Vyas Devambatla: We chose Capital area obgyn for our first kid. Delivery at UNC Rex. Excellent service. Highly knowledgeable, patient, cooperative and professional staff. I strongly recommend Capital area obgyn.
Michelle Lewis: I've been coming to this practice for 8 years. Very kind and polite staff. Wait time never an issue. I usually see Dr Claire Sellers and appreciate the fact she genuinely listens and doesn't rush your appointment.
Isha Kalra: I delivered my baby 2 weeks ago. Dr. Sellers was the one who delivered my baby. Throughout the pushing process she was very patient with me, kept encouraging me that I could do it. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain why something is being done/ advised. I would highly recommend her.During early pregnancy I was admitted to the hospital twice and both the times, Dr. Sellers was the on call doctor. Very pleased with the way she treats and cares. Also she is very responsive to the messages sent on the portal.During the regular visits we’ve seen Rebeca, Maggie, Dr. Gausman, Dr. Buckley, Dr. Tosky. They are all very knowledgeable and fantastic. The nurses are great. The lady who does the blood work is amazing and very friendly. The front desk staff is nice and always willing to help. Scheduling appointments has always been easy. After hours, the on call doctors always reach back in a timely manner and take time to listen to the problem and suggest the next steps.I’d highly recommend this practice and Dr. Sellers. She is a fantastic doctor.
John Roberson: The office is very organized and I am in and out of my appointments in a timely manner. -Caroline
Michelle Osuba: I had a great experience in this location. I love my doctor. She is always a good listener and comes up with ways to help solve my issues.
J Dougherty: Very happy with Dr Sellers & her assistant was wonderful as well. Wait time was short before seeing Dr, adequate time spent with me, and very accommodating getting my RXs straightened out after moving here from another state. Will definitely continue with Dr Sellers.
Catherine Spinney: Dr. Richardson is very kind and professional. She takes the time to listen to you. Her staff is also wonderful.

Duke Women's Health Associates Arringdon: what do users think?
Hm Hw: Canceled my long-awaited appt the morning of and couldn't reschedule.
Allie Michelle: Best ob/gyn experience I could've had. I saw Dr. Kathleen Zacherl, and her and her assistant were absolutely fabulous. I felt no judgement from anyone at any point in the visit, which isn't common as an LGBTQ person. Her assistant was super personable and took time to talk and laugh with me about animals and once it came time to do the exam, she was extremely professional in assisting and watching the process and I felt extremely comfortable.Onto Dr. Zacherl herself. She was incredibly kind and personable from the start of the appointment and she brought a very bright and calming energy into the room. She was extremely attentive to me and my needs throughout the appointment and made sure I was comfortable and felt safe. She already was talking me through everything, but went even more into depth and took it even slower when she learned this was my first gyn experience. She explained everything she would be doing and everything I may experience, and we were able to successfully find the root of a problem other doctors had missed. She explained my diagnosis very well and immediately got to treatment options. I'll definitely be coming back as long as I can, this was an overwhelmingly positive experience :)
Jacey Carpenter: Very nice facility and Dr. Jennifer Howell is great.
Nee: Awful. First they needed the scans FAXED. I went and paid money to have it faxed but their front was so incompetent they had nothing even when I had asked the front girl. But she could barely hear me b/c of the personal conversation btwn another two people next to me.The place I got my scans done also sent them in too and they still called it in.The doctor spent some of the appointment having to check. Dr. Broach. She could tell how much pain I was in in my left hip during the exam. She barely heard me. She wanted to change my birth control to something I could not get in. I CANT USE TAMPONS. SO freaking dismissive she refused to do surgery or the thought and wanted me on hormonal birth control for another 6 months. Sweetheart, I have been in pain for nearly a year and you want to extend it? She also didn't understand why my primary changed my Birth control even when I told her my first one put on by an OB caused more mental health issues. She told me to do another gynecological ultrasound (i Have had 6 I am not even joking and more cysts are showing and the big one on the left finally ruptured scaring my Primary) and then she will decide to do surgery.I felt like crying. I had taken time off and drove to this appointment and do not live in the area. She walked off.I called my primary and she had me get off birth control which has helped some of the spasming but not so much.So much for being a woman health provider. I would rethink duke and I wish I Had gone to UNC or even Wake.
Amanda H: Everyone from the front desk, to the nurses, to the PA that I was there to see, were beyond kind. I was so thankful for their friendliness, care, and respect, as it was not my best day.The facility is beautiful and new with lots of free parking. I love when exam rooms are clean and bright with natural light.

A Preferred Women's Health Center of Raleigh: what do users think?
Dink Dink: This place sorry as heck. They employees slow. The employee mess up and they try to blame you . I wouldn’t recommend this place find somewhere else to go . They just money hungry. Customer service terrible too!
Amor Prime: This clinic gave me a SAFE place to make a INFORMED choice without any bias or judgement. Everyone was kind and professional and because of that and because of how these places are in danger of disappearing I automatically gave them 5 stars. The overall visit went better then expected, the best part was actually seeing the ultrasound technician, I can't remember her name but it was on May 23rd and she was amazing for two reasons. 1) I was very early on less then 6weeks so to actually be able to see the pregnancy she couldn't do it the normal on the belly she had to use the wand, tmi but that can be extremely uncomfortable and you're in a vulnerable situation on top of another vulnerable situation and I've had plenty of negative paps/ similar situations to really appreciate how "comfortable" she made that situation for me 2) The whole clinic was a safe place without judgement but during the ultrasound was even more so. The ultrasound technician was very professional and she explained everything she was going to do but she was also extremely nice and we actually had a really nice conversations about our kids and books and movies and the fact that we could have that conversation during the type of visit I was having was what made everything easier. And I say that because when I found out I was pregnant with my son the woman "taking care" of me gave me a completely different experience (This was at a regular Health Department years ago and a completely different location) but for some reason that person actually made me feel bad for wanting to have him because of her own beliefs and made me feel like I was doing wrong by him for choosing to keep him and I include that because I have had quite a few very negative experiences and they can be mentally damaging but under NO circumstance should you stay at any place that is supposed to be providing health care that makes you feel bad. The only actual issue I had with my appointment was from the initial phone call to set the appointment. That is because the people who set your appointments are not actually at the clinic. The person I originally talked to said for my appointment (just getting the pill version) should only take 1-2 hours and I was there closer to 4hrs. That normally wouldn't be too horrible except you're not allowed to have your phone. They do play movies but there's also no clocks in any of the waiting rooms. Oh and in the lobby upfront they do have a vending machine for snacks but not one for drinks but they can get you a little cup for water.
Adit Chitale: Giving a good review because it’s not a fake abortion place.
Kameryn wilson: Some feedback that I’d give to this center is if a person has a certain appointment time, then they be seen at the time or least close to that time. For anyone going I’d say go in a little earlier than your appointment just for a better chance at getting into the Patient room. Overall, you will wait some hours just like any other clinic but the staff is friendly, the doctor makes sure your comfortable before taking the pill medication; and once you have completed everything; your good to go, I prefer this clinic if anyone wants to go forward with abortion.
Mayra Gonzalez: I’m not a patient nor have I ever been but I just want to recognize the brave workers and patients that come and work here I pass by the protesters and just get sick looking at them thank you for all you do and the help you give to keep women safe as for the people protesting leaving uneducated and hateful reviews please educate yourself and remember it’s a hard choice these brave women have to make so instead of looking absolutely ridiculous protesting to take away basic human rights and harass these brave women and workers how about we do something productive with that time like actually read into abortion it’s none of your business what these ladies decide! My body. My choice.
Auntie Melanin: I was here Thursday, I am convinced that the bad reviews are fake . I have never encountered such professional and pleasant staff in the healthcare setting my 33 years on earth like I have here . EVERYONE was truly accommodating and other health care professionals could come here and take notes . I just want to say thank you to each staff member I encountered from the bottom of my heart.
Aidé Oropeza: I pass here every morning. It's amazing to see those protestors outside fighting for babies lives. Just amazing. I give THEM four stars. Very brave people !!
Elizabeth Gonzalez: Fake name for obvious reasons. This was my first time ever doing this and I already have a little boy so I never thought id be in this position. I was terrified coming in here this morning because of all the bad reviews but im now convinced they must be fake. I had the best experience under the circumstances. Sure the wait was longer than I would have liked but I came in at 9:30 and was out by 12. Some people find the group setting uncomfortable but it made me feel much more relaxed and I even made a friend. Passed the time talking to the other ladies there about our experiences. Contrary to the belief of the lunatics yelling at you outside, most of the ladies there with me (including myself) were married/long term relationships and already had other kids and were also being responsible but birth control failed, some were even in situations that were a risk to their lives. The place is clearly old and run down but I wasn't expecting a 5 star resort. Everyone there was SO friendly, special shoutout to the tech who did my ultrasound whose birthday is tomorrow and is a fellow Sagittarius (sorry I didnt get your name). Everyone was very caring and made sure we understood the procedure. Keep in mind this is done in groups (usually 2-3 ladies at a time) so you wont get privacy or personalized service but that didnt bother me as I said it was comforting to talk to others going through the same thing. Dr. Washington was very nice and asked us if we had any questions and made sure we understood the instructions. They give you all the information and numbers to call for questions or complications. The staff made it so that I was laughing and smiling through one of the worst days of my life, thats how awesome they are. Im taking every possible measure so that this never happens again but if it does, I would not hesitate to come back here. Thank you APWHC for providing this vital service during such difficult times for women's health and making one of the worst days of my life bearable.
Natasha Poulous: BEWARE! This facility is not only completely filthy and disgusting, they are rude. $450+ to sit in a room with 14 women for 4 hours, because their 'Doctor' only wants to brief women once on the pill procedure, in order to save time. but the doctor never even said anything. No privacy, and treated like garbage. The amount of money sitting in the facility the day I was there and how absolutely disgusting the place is answers any questions of where your money goes, right in the monstrous Dr. Washingtons pocket. I understand that in a conservative state like NC that womens health care is an afterthought, but this was absolutely insane. As if having to do this isn't hard enough, they do NOTHING to make it any better. They treat you like cattle. I called to ask about my follow up and they hung up on me, after I was told it would be another "3-4 hours" for the second part, because appointments are non-existant. I don't know where else one can go, but good luck. Cuz this place is not it.
Tiara: Waiting time is too long. I waited over an hour and 1/2 for them to give me my medication after the ultrasound. They told me they short staffed. Well if that's the case schedule less patients on that day because it definitely ruined my experience for ever coming back here
Caroline Lewis: Couldn't have had a better experience here today. The staff was very sweet and the whole medicated abortion process was streamlined and easy. Everything was explained to me and they made sure that I understood and didn't leave with questions. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The reviews I read mentioned a long wait, but I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. The ultrasound technician was so personable, I felt like I was in great hands. Definitely recommend.
Joy Williams: Wait time was long(3-4 hours) but the experience and the other women & staff made it more relaxed and great.
Bobby McGrath: I get profound joy from screaming at the anti-choice protestors that amass here on the weekends.
Reeka Lemon: Fake name for privacy . I was super scared from all the reviews of abortion in general . I decided to schedule an appointment. They called me the next day with counseling . On the day of the appointment I was checked in , paid , ( they offer financial assistance) , and filled out the paperwork . They took my blood pressure , pricked my finger , and did an ultrasound. They offered more counseling and then shortly after we met with the doctor in a group to get the first medication. ( at first I didn’t have any thoughts about it being in a group , but when I got home I felt sad like dang we were all just having abortions ) anyways I took the first pill , and 24 hours later took the second set . I pretty much met the statistics of an abortion, within the first 5 hours passing the pregnancy . I felt no pain at all with the help of the pain medicine proscribed, and I didn’t bleed that much . My follow up was pretty smooth and they said the abortion had been successful. The vaginal ultra sound was uncomfortable ( always is to me )but the lady with the dreads was super nice , and helped me through it . All of the staff were super nice and the doctor was as well. Never expected to do this . But thank you 10/10.
Dominique Barrera: Waiting all day. Appointments don't matter. No alternate line for issues so it backs up the line.Multiple people tried to get refunds after being lied to about how far along they were.If you are past 10 weeks they will say you are 14 and won't operate because their cutoff is 13.6 weeks. The way they handle their irate customers is unprofessional. There is a 2nd waiting room inside after they bombard you with questions.
Lí Alou: I was in the check-in line for over an hour and the total wait time was 4 hours. People were checking out who arrived after me. Staff are loud and unprofessional. They didn’t give me a receipt and the bathroom is disgusting. Definitely won’t be recommending this location to anyone.
Precious Moments: Waited for 4 hours to get a pill
Brittney: Fake name: Went to my appointment and was very satisfied in every aspect. Took about 3 hours, but was also busy. Sat in a waiting room with other women and had a movie playing. Nurses were very nice and informative, follow up only took about 10 minutes if that long. Would highly recommend for women looking to do what’s best for them!
Angy Martinez: I can’t even begin to express my gratitude with my experience here. Every single staff member deserves not only a raise but the most positive recognition ever. Angela was hands down was top tier. She offered us all comfort food and drinks and had the most positive energy that we truly all needed in those moments. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone and Dr. Washington was absolutely wonderful. To the staff I sadly didn’t get the names of, you all are so fabulous and so kind and made the experience worth while. So thankful for everyone there. Truly 100/10 Experience and place.
Krystyna Grzybek: I had failed abortion. I'm in er now and was told the baby never passed smh. That place took forever to see me and everything.
Dominique Lawrence: I had a great experience. The staff was really professional and put me at ease. It was my first time going and was really nervous. Everyone there was really nice and understanding and walked me through all the steps. I would recommend anyone to go there even if it’s the first time and I met patients that been there more than once that shared their experiences and put me at ease as well.. I am so to have found a place that was helpful with giving me the financial assistance I needed for the services and a staff was really helpful. Thanks again to the staff.

Duke Women's Health Associates Brier Creek: what do users think?
Maggie Stilphen: Love all the doctors at this office! Would highly recommend.
A. Timp: Love the office and doctors. Everyone is nice from the time you walk-in to the time you leave. I have been here for all five of my pregnancies. Truly a great team.
Niq Sparrow: Worst facility ever.I made an appt with Dr.Latoya Patterson. I specifically asked for an African American women as my doctor. I researched her and was happy to land an appt with her. One my appt day arrived I was met with by 3 DIFFERENT women whom couldn’t address my concerns. None of the three lady staff was Dr.Latoya. Instead , I was finally met by Dr.Susan Clifford. She was extremely Nonchalant , and rude when it was time to address my medical concerns. I respectfully asked her what happened to Dr.Latoya , considering that’s whom I scheduled my first prenatal appt with. She then replied “ why , do you know her personally ? You don’t want my help ?” I explained to her what it took for me to get the appt. She then said , “well you didn’t even have an appt scheduled at all. I had to squeeze you in “. Mind you , I scheduled my appt at 5 weeks pregnant and I was scheduled at 10:20 am for an ultrasound and 2:20 for a appt with Dr.Latoya. That’s how I ended up at the doctor office. After , I told her it was fine for her to see me for that particular appt. Her mood completely shifted , she was short with her answers and had a lot of “idk , well that’s for any women , I’m not sure “ as her answers. She did NOT address any of my concerns and didn’t care too. She lack empathy ! I will never visit this location again. She also refused to do an ultrasound. She said it was no need too. Although , I was in need of medical attention. I was looking forward to Dr.Latoya. I heard great things about her.Last but not least , my first appt was at 10:20. I arrived at 10:10. I was taking to the back around 10:45. Completed a urine test and that’s all. I had to go look for help after waiting over 30 mins in a room with no assistance. The two ladies who came in first couldn’t assist me with my concerns either. One was an RN and one was an ultrasound tech.Jada , was awesome. She’s young and friendly. She greet you with care and make sure you’re ok while you’re waiting. As for the rest of the staff that assisted me … you have to do better.
abdellatif aittaleb: Short story: we loose our baby boy in 16 week because of the clinic careless and mistakes. From our experience is the worst place to go. My wife and I choose the clinic because we was think that all Duke systems is good, the first appointment was good, then they schedule us another appointment after 4 weeks but before that my wife had a bleeding it took me more than hour just to get in touch with a nurse she advised me for ER, and they don’t have an open schedule to fallow up until next week. Even with the fallow up they said they cannot do an ultrasound and they go with the results from ER what was 5 days before. They customer service is really bad. You can FEEL THAT THE DOCTOR DONT CARE YOU HAVE TO ASK TO GET A SHORT ANSWER. the only thing they care about is sent you home with no clue. Don’t wast your time and it may cost you a lot.
Julie Watson: I had such a positive experience with Duke Womens Health Associates! Dr. Clifford delivered my baby via C-section and did a wonderful job. All of my pre-natal appointments were great. I was able to meet almost all of the physicians prior to my due date. Everyone was very helpful! Also I called the nurse line a LOT in my last month of pregnancy and they were great about talking through symptoms with me and helping me figure out when I was actually in labor!
Cierra: I love Dr. Brown who I believe is new to the practice. Our introduction was in the ER when she delivered my son. Although I hadn't received prenatal care from her throughout pregnant, she made me feel safe, valued and heard as a patient. She delivered my son and was able to keep my birth plan. I just had my 6 week check up with her and she was very informative, took her time and answered all my questions completely. For me, I need a doctor who is component of course, but also warm so I'm comfortable with them. Dr. Brown is all those. I finally found my OBGYN and glad I was able to meet and be treated by her. She's the only reason I'd keep going to this office location.
Aviance Brown: This was my first pregnancy and I did not know what to expect from an OB however, overall I did not feel heard as a patient here. It felt like this place was a factory where most of the doctors did not care about what they did, but were extremely busy and focused on getting me out of the door as quickly as possible. With the exception of my visits with Dr. Alfonso and Dr. Schaumberg, I always felt rushed when I went in. They were not forthcoming with information, I always had to ask the questions. Each of my appointments went like this: I walked in they checked my weight, BP, and the other routine things, then they said "any questions?" That was it, they never gave any information. I always had to say things like "what can I expect over the next few weeks until I return? Is there anything I should be looking out for? What can I be doing to ensure that these next few weeks flow smoothly? When should I start preparing for birth'" I felt like these were things I shouldn't have had to ask, they should have information that they give out instead of making the patient do research prior to and ask all the questions. In this case what's the point of a doctor? I could simply google everything and follow the advice on the pregnancy apps for as little as they did. Thankfully I had done my own research prior to each appointment and had questions to ask. But I fear for people who are not as educated or had not done any research to know the appropriate things to ask or say.The few times something felt off with my pregnancy they blamed it on my BMI (mind you I was not that overweight and only gained 20 pounds over my entire pregnancy) instead of actually looking into my concerns. After bringing concerns about a potential infection, of which I did have, Dr. Jones ignored my requests to put in a prescription to address the issues for FIVE DAYS, so things got worse. I went to urgent care after a couple days and they wrote the prescription I needed.Later on I brought up the fact that I had a doula and we were working on a birth plan and I wanted to know if it would be followed, instead of supporting me Dr. Nieves told me not to waste too much time on that because birth never goes as planned and I should not get attached to my birth plan, I should just trust the doctors. During both of my appointments with him, instead of sitting down or standing away from the door, he stood at the door with his hand on the door handle, which signaled to me that he wanted to get out quickly.During my third trimester I felt extremely weak, was not able to eat much and began losing weight, Dr. Nieves reminded me of my weight yet again, and suggested I try protein shakes. Thankfully I trusted my gut, and went and got a second opinion from an outside provider who took my concerns seriously, ran the appropriate tests and got down to the bottom of the issue and treated me for the actual problem. When I went back to see Dr. Nieves I expressed my concerns and asked for reassurance that moving forward I would be heard and valued to ensure that these issues did not continue, instead of apologizing for the experience I had, he stated " I am happy to write you a referral" TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!After this I switched providers on my own and went somewhere where I was valued and heard. They took their time during each of my appointments, were forthcoming with information, told me exactly what I could expect (barring any problems of course), and answered my questions. They actually encouraged my birth plan, met with my doula and followed our plan as much as they could during my birth. They responded quickly to any concerns that I had and I actually felt like they cared about what they did. My only regret is not switching providers sooner.
Katherine Lelito: Great providers, awesome staff. Well run, new and clean office. Thanks Dr Jones for your caring and compassion.
Kennedy Weible: We left this OBGYN in the middle of our pregnancy to go to Wake Med and it was the best decision we could have made. The best way I can describe the Dr.'s and nursing staff at Duke is weirdly combative. We were told a lot about how when it was time to give birth it was the Dr.'s show and they weren't going to entertain requests from us. This would have been less weird maybe if we had made requests or submitted a birth plan or something, but this was unprompted. The NP's and Docs also constantly seemed annoyed to see us, like we were bothering them, when we showed up for our appointments that they scheduled with us.We mentioned this in passing during a convo with a neighbor who told us she did her first birth at Duke and would never go back. She's the one who recommended Wake Med -- she went for her second birth. She was right. Wake Med was the opposite of Duke in every way and while switching OBGYN's mid pregnancy was a little nerve-racking we're so happy we did it.You've got better options than this here in the Raleigh area.
Emma Long: Dr. Nieves is simply the kindest and most welcoming doctor I have ever met in my entire life. Nursing staff was also super helpful. I'll definitely be going back in the future.
Cherrelle Ramsey: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED WORKING HERE W/ THE PROVIDERS THEY ARE SO AWESOME AND CARING!! I REALLY MISS THIS GROUP!! YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH ALL PROVIDERS HERE AT THIS CLINIC.
Chef Chrissie Lapidow: I am beyond impressed with Dr. Alfonso and his staff. Scheduling was a breeze, no wait times, extremely clean (with social distancing measures in place), and and incredibly helpful and pleasant staff. I was shocked to see bad reviews because my personal experience as a new patient has been EXCEPTIONAL. I confidently give the my highest recommendations for this office and Dr. Alfonso - who is thorough, compassionate, and truly cares about my well-being!
Kathryn Olive: I was delighted to find the staff at Duke Women's Health were friendly and efficient. Dr Moreno acted just how I like a specialist to act. She was extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, polite, respectful and sensitive to my needs. I thoroughly recommend her as a gynecologist. I will certainly go back.
Tia: I had the worst experience here! This is my first time coming to this duke women’s facility in brier creek I use to go to the one in Durham. I came for questions and a better understanding of my diagnoses Dr. Moreno left me feeling worst than how I already feel! I was asking questions and she interrupted me in the middle of one of my questions and said Is that it, cause she has another appointment!!!! I only was in the room with her for 10 mins!!!!!
Caroline Comyn: Dr Barrett and nurses are all amazing! Have had nothing but compassionate care and excellent customer service here.
Teja reddy: Overall I am happy with all the services provided for me.
Gauhar Rybarczyk: What OB/GYN doesn’t have a sonographer on staff? I have been going here for years, and every time I sign up with a provider they move locations. It’s a very convenient location, why the turn over?
Lindsey Seymore: I arrived to my scheduled appointment 5 mins early and was told that they were unable to check me in because unfortunately the person I was scheduled with realized a few mins prior that she was unable to perform the procedure I needed. I live 45 mins away and had to leave work early. They were not prepared or considerate.
SS I: Irresponsible staff specially the nurses in this location. Service is below average.
B C: There was no medical reason to push for induction at 40 weeks. The baby was doing well and my health was good. Pushing for induction increased my chances for a C-section which is not what I wanted. My cervix was not ripe. If I were to do it again, I would have had a doula to advocate for me. I would have asked them questions about their philosophy and C-section rates and found another provider. I regret trusting the Duke name.
Carolyn Moore: Very surprised to see the low rating here as I’ve always had a wonderful experience with the receptionists, nurses and doctors. I had a baby about a month ago and throughout my pregnancy, the quality of care was superb. I also found scheduling extremely easy and flexible.
