Kelly McNutt: Short staffing and stores a mess. There's not much on shelves. Disorganized. Heard fabric cutter sat they don't even have time to put away bolts of fabric. It's like this everywhere. At least the staff they have ate friendly.
Lee Caitlin Garcia: Had an order pick up that I placed online. Cashier was rude and told me I had to wait in line like everyone else. Could’ve been nicer. What’s the point of ordering ahead if I still have to wait in a 30 minute line due to only having 1 cashier.
S T: My beautiful wife needed some fabric to create some teddy bears and this is her go to place. There's tons of fabric options. If you can't find it here I don't think it exists lol!The fabrics range from traditional solid color or patterns to theme celebrated options. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. The store wasn't overflowing with too much traffic in the checkout lines were quick.The fabric wasn't the only thing available there. She was able to purchase the inside stuffing, thread color desired as well as the tail, nose and eyes.I asked her if she would recommend the store and she said definitely. It has everything she needs in one place.

Lisa Vines: The store itself is great, but the new self checkout is terrible. I needed assistance with an item and was told they’d be right with me, but then I was subsequently ignored for the next 5-10 minutes. It was a relatively quiet afternoon. I had to cancel my transaction and go back through the store to find a replacement item and then get back into the line.
Shane Armstrong: Decent selection, pretty well stocked. Service is friendly as well. Had to shop here on Christmas Eve and it was pretty smooth.

Becky Mullins: This was a first time stop while on vacation and it is a great little yarn shop. While it is a small shop, the owner has a surprisingly big selection of different yarns. Store was nice and bright with a lot of options for various weights and fiber textures in yarn. I would definitely stop here again if I visit the area again. They do offer online shopping but I find that touching the yarn helps me decide on the project.
Lilly Hare: Lots of selection and loads of help by the workers. If you are a beginner or advanced crocheter or knitter definitely make a stop here!
Brie Handgraaf: I'm a beginner, but the staff did a great job walking me through their gorgeous selection and answering my questions. I'm super excited to branch out and do a great project with the skeins I fell in love with here.

It wasn't the regular Sunday lady so I apologise for not remembering her name but she took one look and knew how to fix it and spotted another mistake in the same line! (Don't knit tired) the shop got really busy with others looking for yarn and asking for help. Everyone was really patient and kind. Picked up some beautiful DK weight that will be a fun little hand warmer project! They have classes as well for all ranges it looks like, be checking those out next! --post COVID, still the same great shop with helpful ladies who don't mind winding the yarn for you! I've been crunching through some projects at work and they're super helpful in finding the right skein (or two!)

Kate Nutt: I love this shop. The owner/operator is fantastic and her staff is excellent. They are always eager to help with problems or answer questions. Also, the quality of their yarns and other products is fabulous and the extent of their selections are overwhelming. I also love the comradeship of the customers. Everyone is friendly and it’s so fun to just go to Great Yarns and knit and socialize. It’s a true knitters oasis and haven. Please keep your shop going another twenty-five years!!!
Aaron McDougal: My review is strictly from a customer service prospective. I brought in an Afghan for repair. The job seemed to be relatively simple; one pulled thread. After over two weeks I called and was told that they hadn’t found time to do the repair and I should try again in a month or so. My property was put in the storage room. They requested my phone number when I dropped the item off. If I had not called, my item would still be in the back room.

BP Reynolds: Had a great visit. I was greeted warmly when I entered the store and employees were super nice. My only concern was that it was really hard to move around the store because people were seated at tables and chairs and made no attempt to move so that I could see the yarns. I was repeatedly smiling and saying "Excuse me, I'm so sorry", just to get people to scoot just a bit to let me by. It is definitely a very small store but things are laid out nicely and there are lots of choices and price points. Will definitely be back. 😊
