JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
Santiago Martinez: Great customer service
TALIA Will Tell Ya: Found what I was in need of and super helpful crew!
Josh Whetton: Lots of yarn in stock! Found what I was looking for and more.
Andy Cochran: Everything was all over the place...
Rebecca Hurwitz: Lots of knowledgeable help and items to choose from
Kelly McNutt: Short staffing and stores a mess. There's not much on shelves. Disorganized. Heard fabric cutter sat they don't even have time to put away bolts of fabric. It's like this everywhere. At least the staff they have ate friendly.
Lee Caitlin Garcia: Had an order pick up that I placed online. Cashier was rude and told me I had to wait in line like everyone else. Could’ve been nicer. What’s the point of ordering ahead if I still have to wait in a 30 minute line due to only having 1 cashier.
S T: My beautiful wife needed some fabric to create some teddy bears and this is her go to place. There's tons of fabric options. If you can't find it here I don't think it exists lol!The fabrics range from traditional solid color or patterns to theme celebrated options. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. The store wasn't overflowing with too much traffic in the checkout lines were quick. The fabric wasn't the only thing available there. She was able to purchase the inside stuffing, thread color desired as well as the tail, nose and eyes.I asked her if she would recommend the store and she said definitely. It has everything she needs in one place.
Andrea Wilson: I love this place. Friendly staff and a great Hero Arts stamp and die selection.
Danielle Sacripante: I definitely liked JOANN fabrics better than Michaels for beading but even better is HOBBY LOBBY!! Lots more tools, wiring, crafting to choose from.
Armando Baptiste: Really cool cut counter staff that I talked to; I think one's name was Mimi and the other was a middle aged black lady. They where straight up and got me what I needed to get. Great deals at this Joann too, was a good experience and will be back.
Tanya Harned: Not usually a quick errand due to the lack of cashiers.
Mary Safi: One of my favorite places
Nicole Richardson: Good
Stefanie Hansen: Great sales and helpful staff
Bret Jefferson: Great staff, stayed open late Xmas eve for my pickup... WOW
The Reluctant Artist: Even though the staff is short, they've always managed to attend to every customer. Amazing team.
Ann P.: Always find what I need here, staffs are friendly and helpful.
Dee Donihi: They had everything I needed and plenty of stock. Just really expensive
Rena Bragg: Very busy establishment. Difficult to find an employee with sewing machine knowledge to assist with purchase.
Pennie Locklear: Big selection, good sales, clerks are friendly. Cons are wait at cutting table and checkout. Though today was better than usual!

Michaels: what do users think?
Lee Johnson: Best Michaels to go to is POyner Pond Circle if youre in Raleigh, NC
Racquel Rowland: Self service counter, NO restroom lol, still Pandemic in this store
Michael Hunt: Helped a lot with my custom frame for a diploma
Alicia Lecceardone: Seed bank💚
Christine P: I needed several frames for pictures that were non-standard sizes and Michael's had a great selection.
Jo Hill: Love the coupons and great sales
J Larae Phelps: Friend shopping for child tee shirts
Dave Griffin: Was looking at blades for Criqcut All were opened/used. Employees were unhelpful and dismissive about the issue
Myra B.: Helpful staff! Love coming here!
Haya Rasheed: Very nice place , I love it
Zoe Miller: I go here on the daily at this point. It's so addicting to get new craft stuff!! They have everything you could ever imagine here!
Steven Fried: Çonvience in finding what i needed
Lacy 2 Nd Phone Nunez: Love this store!!
Shannon Myers: Many isles are incorrectly labeled, most visits I need to ask for assistance locating items the app says are in stick, and it is difficult to find an employee to assist with this. Position es are this store has a self check out that is fast and easy to use, including using coupons.
Vlad Gafurov: Super cheap, has self-checkout terminals. Got myself a cool frame there
Daniel Picarsic: My wife always finds what she wanted and more.
Frank Alvarez: Great store
Joshua M.: Good selection of paints, sadly their clearance stuff is pretty well gone. Which is good for them!
Kyle Fisher: Much newer location. The cosplay section is shrinking but I still love michaels
Lisa Vines: The store itself is great, but the new self checkout is terrible. I needed assistance with an item and was told they’d be right with me, but then I was subsequently ignored for the next 5-10 minutes. It was a relatively quiet afternoon. I had to cancel my transaction and go back through the store to find a replacement item and then get back into the line.
Shane Armstrong: Decent selection, pretty well stocked. Service is friendly as well. Had to shop here on Christmas Eve and it was pretty smooth.

Great Yarns: what do users think?
Becky Mullins: This was a first time stop while on vacation and it is a great little yarn shop. While it is a small shop, the owner has a surprisingly big selection of different yarns. Store was nice and bright with a lot of options for various weights and fiber textures in yarn. I would definitely stop here again if I visit the area again. They do offer online shopping but I find that touching the yarn helps me decide on the project.
Lilly Hare: Lots of selection and loads of help by the workers. If you are a beginner or advanced crocheter or knitter definitely make a stop here!
Brie Handgraaf: I'm a beginner, but the staff did a great job walking me through their gorgeous selection and answering my questions. I'm super excited to branch out and do a great project with the skeins I fell in love with here.
Bess Hall: I loved the warm, inviting atmosphere at Great Yarns. A group of ladies were knitting and enjoying each other’s company when I visited the shop. Customer service was top notch! Thank you, Great Yarns!
Joan Kramer: Amazing store! Great selection of all types yarns. Outstanding customer service.
Liz Larson: I stopped here while I was traveling and if I lived closer, Great Yarns would be my LYS. Helpful, kind, knowledgeable staff with a well organized selection of yarn. You will find a great representation of unique and colorful fibers at price points for everyone.
Megan Crouch: I had such an amazing experience at great yarns. The ladies were extremely kind and helped me find the right yarn for my projects, they also offered to wind up my yarn for me which is such a life saver. Will definitely be coming back.
Nikki Smith: Apparently their store hours are not updated. Standing here at 2:30 on a Sunday and no one's here.Updated, great customer service, was able to stop by yesterday. Great selection of colorful yarns. Got some yarn for new projects.
Renee Bragg: Long time crocheter who was trying an ambitious double knit project and needed help. Was not starting over again! It wasn't the regular Sunday lady so I apologise for not remembering her name but she took one look and knew how to fix it and spotted another mistake in the same line! (Don't knit tired) the shop got really busy with others looking for yarn and asking for help. Everyone was really patient and kind. Picked up some beautiful DK weight that will be a fun little hand warmer project! They have classes as well for all ranges it looks like, be checking those out next! --post COVID, still the same great shop with helpful ladies who don't mind winding the yarn for you! I've been crunching through some projects at work and they're super helpful in finding the right skein (or two!)
Kelly M. (creperum): Beautiful selection of yarns. Love that they have 100% cotton selections. Will definitely be back.
Angeline Bryant: Super cute spot! The ladies who work here are lovely.
Neta Ketterman: I always find just the right yarn for my next project. Staff is always helpful.
Caroline Enloe: My favorite local yarn shop! Everyone is so helpful and kind.
Kim Johnson: Very helpful.
Jane Hallstrom: This place has beautiful yarn , kind helpful people, charming looking shop and comfortable chairs and couch to sit and knit or crochet. Seriously I went back three times within one week and they fixed my mistakes and got me set up to go home and fail again and then welcomed me back yet again. Great place!
Kate Nutt: I love this shop. The owner/operator is fantastic and her staff is excellent. They are always eager to help with problems or answer questions. Also, the quality of their yarns and other products is fabulous and the extent of their selections are overwhelming. I also love the comradeship of the customers. Everyone is friendly and it’s so fun to just go to Great Yarns and knit and socialize. It’s a true knitters oasis and haven. Please keep your shop going another twenty-five years!!!
Aaron McDougal: My review is strictly from a customer service prospective. I brought in an Afghan for repair. The job seemed to be relatively simple; one pulled thread. After over two weeks I called and was told that they hadn’t found time to do the repair and I should try again in a month or so. My property was put in the storage room. They requested my phone number when I dropped the item off. If I had not called, my item would still be in the back room.
Suzanne Guin: Loved every yarn I’ve purchased here! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and sweet whenever I came in with my children in tow.
Brooke Avila: The best yarn shop in the area. The helpful staff is friendly and welcoming. will return often.
Karen Mathieson: One of the friendliest and most helpful shops I've been to. Well worth a trip to this store!
BP Reynolds: Had a great visit. I was greeted warmly when I entered the store and employees were super nice. My only concern was that it was really hard to move around the store because people were seated at tables and chairs and made no attempt to move so that I could see the yarns. I was repeatedly smiling and saying "Excuse me, I'm so sorry", just to get people to scoot just a bit to let me by. It is definitely a very small store but things are laid out nicely and there are lots of choices and price points. Will definitely be back. 😊
