Ladonna Hastings: I understand that North Carolina is a fire at will but when you know you have hired a handicap person and notes need to be wrote to communicate with them and you say they were let go for refusing to do a task and no notes were written that's wrong. When a meeting has been planned and you only take the word of one person what happened that's wrong. Thank goodness concerns for the handicap person for his safety he told me when he was threatened. Place needs to do a surprise drug test on everyone. An he recorded the meeting without them knowing it he wasn't even offered a chance to talk himself they decided what they were going to do before the meeting.

They put it up in 2 days as promised, before the Christmas. Installing LED lights, on the other hand, took some time though due to some delivery issues however Bekir and Rodney was always in contact, and let us know the progress of the issue. Bekir is an excellent person who kept us in the loop during the process of installation, from the beginning of the project. Hard working guys! They are customer oriented. Excellent, excellent job! James Lenga: I work for a landscaping company and approached Alpha with an issue on our truck canvas leaf collection systems. We both knew it would be a process of trial and error until we had the right design, but they tackled the project head on and have been a pleasure to work with. Their prompt attention and customer service is why we will likely continue to bring them business year after year.

Ann Dahrouge: My awning began falling apart before the 5 year mark. We were happy with our first Alpha awning that we purchased in 1998, but our latest Alpha awning installed in 2013 has a seam coming apart (4-foot-long and growing) and water now leaks through, even though the fabric is still in very good condition. We contacted the company right away and sent detailed photos. The new manager was unconcerned, actually saying “you should be glad that it lasted that long.” He stated that he would try to repair it if we PREPAID the $418 estimate but also made it clear that they are NOT making any guarantees on how it will FIT or LOOK afterward or whether it will CONTINUE to LEAK. We asked for at least a discount, which was shouted down with a “no!” We asked to speak with the family that owns the company; we were told they are not involved in the day to day operations any longer leaving us with this manager as the only point of contact. During the last conversation we had with him he demanded we decide immediately whether to accept his proposal; when we wanted more time to discuss he then angrily stated he would not be repairing it and abruptly hung up. We were never rude to him; we only asked him to stand behind their work and do something more to make it right. We would really appreciate if someone from the company would reach out to help restore our awning as well as our confidence in this company.

Joe NC: The folks at Alpha Canvas are wonderful. Their price was fair, and their communication and quality of work are excellent. They went above and beyond at every step. As an example, I had my fabric delivered to their office in Charlotte. The driver was stuck traffic and running late. One employee stuck around after hours to receive the delivery. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them again in the future.

Shelley Arthur: Had to wait 3 months for their tech to come out but it was worth the wait. Tech had only scheduled for a few windows - and didn't have screen door materials to make the odd sized door I desperately needed, but he did a great job rescreening those in the most need and came back within 2 weeks to make the screen door I was waiting for. I would say, plan ahead; know what you need done specifically, what kind of screens you have so that they can schedule enough time to get the job done in one trip. I have happy tenants and they have a happy customer!
