This was our first time getting a closet professionally done and we didn't regret any of it! The designer, Erin, was very friendly and helpful - not pushy at all and had great ideas. She was in and out within about an hour to see the space and take measurements. She offered to do a design for our second basic closet as well and we said "why not? but we probably won't move forward with it right now". We met at the showroom the next week and were so excited by both designs (and the affordable price) that we went ahead with both. We also upgraded to a slightly different finish (the linen) for one of them which bumped up the price but is gorgeous. The installation was super professional and simple. It's been about 2 months and it has made a huge difference in the usefulness of both spaces! She was incredible at providing options and design choices that respected our budget. The installers were amazing and did a fantastic job. Claire came back afterwards to review installation and ensure everything was up to mark.We enjoyed our experience so much in 2015, that we called on Claire again in early 2022 after purchasing a home. Lisa Lust: I am thrilled with my cabinets. Three years ago DL Cabinetry helped me design my bathroom remodel. They assembled and my contractor picked up and installed them. The cabinets still look brand new.

Douglas Bell: They cater to contractors. Not a good place for the DIY owner. They told me cabinets were easy to put together and everything you needed was included to put it together except handles/pulls. They give you a picture assembly instruction page with no words. Impossible to put together so I called to ask a couple questions. They said all assembly people were busy assembling cabinets so they were not sure when they could call me back probably not today. I also emailed them. 3 days later and no calls just an email stating they only have a picture and their contractors do not have problems putting them together. They did say the drawers require a nail gun, so NOT everything is included for assembly. Cabinets themselves are mediocre at best and mine was missing a screw. Customer service is quite poor.

Amy Touchstone: Terrible terrible customer service. They literally lied on the call with me. I bought cabinets for three bathrooms. One of the drawers was put together at the warehouse incorrectly and won’t close. I contacted them within 24 hours of getting the cabinets. They insisted that if I wanted it fixed, I needed to bring it to them to be repaired. I paid $100 for the cabinets to be delivered. It’s literally brand new, never even installed, and it’s my responsibility to remedy the issue? I paid thousands for the cabinets. They sent me a faulty product and want me to bring it back to them. Then they want me to come pick it up after they repair it? All they have to do is bring me a new drawer. Take back the faulty one! Simple. I asked to speak to Sonni, as I thought he was owner. The receptionist lied on the phone and said he wasn’t and then refused to tell me the name of the owner (the owner is Sonni). I was shocked at the blatant lie! I’ll never recommend them and would rather pay more than deal with such unprofessionalism! Do not use them!

The Fine Grit team not only delivered and but exceeded my expectations on all levels.Beyond outstanding crafted cabinet design, Katie Schindler's team completed the installation in a timely manner and proactively tackled issues. For example the matching cabinet facing for the freezer was slightly off due to a manufacturer's spec. variance. As a result, the center of the freezer cabinet facing was not flush. The Fine Grit team proactively removed the panel and further customized the fit resulting in a 100% flush finish. It looks great. I did not have to request this or follow-up. It was done as a part of their process.The Fine Grit team worked around our family during the 2020 pandemic. They collectively are a great team of cabinet craftsmen / craftswomen. She whitened and brightened it using some of our existing supply and new material where it was needed. Beth Collom: We purchased a house in February 2016 that was built in 1996 and needed a lot of work.Our original plan and budget was to gut the kitchen and put in new cabinets and wait to redo the 2 bathrooms. After looking over the cabinets and realizing that all of them had pull out shelves I began to rethink the cabinets. "Fine Grit" was highly recommended by two people I came in contact with when remodeling this home. I called Katie and she called back the same day and we set up an appointment so she could see the job. Katie has a design background and is very artistic. She immediately saw the potential of our master plan. We wanted to open up the kitchen, add to the adjacent wet bar and make an island. She was able to expand on the idea of increasing the wet bar by moving leftover cabinets from the kitchen to the wet bar. Katie has excellent business sense, confidence and a great personality. When the meeting was over we had a plan, we had paint colors nailed down and a quote was quickly sent to me. I was able to do my two bathroom cabinets since I saved money by not tearing out the kitchen cabinets. She also gave advise on wall/trim paint colors and made a sample of the floor stain I wanted so I could see what it would look like with the cabinet paint color. Katie was flexible and great to work with on this project. I was comfortable with her and her employees having access to my house to complete their work. Katie set me up Devon to do my reclaimed wood open shelves over the wet bar. Fine Grit will take care of you from start to finish with your best interest in mind. Katie waited for my floors to get finished before she came back to put on the cabinet doors because she didn't want them to get accidentally damaged. My cabinets are BEAUTIFUL! Katie does a high quality paint job and uses techniques to get the best finish possible. My cabinets are smooth and look brand new. People can't believe that these were the original cabinets. Plus, all the time and mess I saved by not ripping out the cabinets. I was able to get my remodel project done in 8 weeks as opposed to an extra 4 weeks to measure and deliver new cabinets.I would highly recommend Katie, Devon, Wes and Trinity for your remodel.
