George Chillz: These guys are totally useless. Went there to get my battery changed. The guy didn't recognize the type of connector I had and thought it was broken. Wouldn't even touch it. Just looked at it and said I had a battery wiring issue with the negative terminal. When in reality it was the positive terminal connector that I had to replace myself. Negative connector was just fine. The bad part however is that they told me my battery was still fully under warranty. And that I could go get it swapped at another AutoZone shop. I go to a different location and they tell me that is completely false. And the best I can get is 60$ prorated off the new battery. That battery was under 5 year warranty. But AutoZone changed all their batteries down to 3 years. Scammers! I payed for a 5 year warranty!
Ethan Sanders: If you have car troubles, I would really recommend coming here and asking for Jakil. My fiancé and I stopped in desperately with urgent car trouble and several questions. Jakil told us exactly what we needed, went above and beyond by looking up parts specific for our vehicle, and even changed the coolent without us asking - all while managing several other customers. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and kind - a trio I have found in low supply, especially in this industry. I 10/10 would recommend Jakil for a raise! : )
Chosen One: This location lacks customer service And the manager there is very rude disrespectful lacks management abilities to be in the position that he is currently in. Jim need to go get. Retrained refusing to give customer care number is disgusting and. Refusing to give the general manager's information is very disturbing also not being able to assist customers with the lack of knowledge of products isn't good service very tacky for a person to be in that type of position. One of the employees do not even know what parts are just running the cash register. He needs to be retrained. How can you assist the customer if you don't know what parts are that is serious. Manger need to remove his racial biases. I recommend going to O'reilly's auto parts better customer service and cheaper prices
Emperor Juan: I drove to this AutoZone on South Blvd thinking I only needed Freon for my car but couldn’t leave because my transmission went out. Lo and behold, Jose knew exactly what was wrong from my explanation. He went under the hood with a zip tie and expeditiously, temporarily, solved the problem for me to make it home! Jose knows about car parts but is a better mechanic.

April C: Went here to get my battery tested before work, unfortunately I turned off my car and it wouldn’t start back up. I stood in line for a couple minutes before realizing the 2 workers were in an aisle talking to each other, (my initial impression was that 1 was a customer that an employee was helping, but no 2 employees) odd but ok. I caught their attention and explained why I was in today. Well my car didn’t start so the employee tried to give me a boost. Not sure why he was trying to rush it but I told him multiple times my voltage was not high enough to start my car so just hold the booster on for a moment, he kept insisting it was my starter. So he just tells me I need a tow and tries to show me where my battery was I’m assuming to charge it, even though it was never mentioned it, then he heads back inside . I waited an hour for my roadside to show up and give me a jumpstart, now I’m on my way. No tow needed.

If I was the store manager or even worse the regional manager I would be embarrassed! Plus no one would check me out and I was directed to the self checkout counter...which was really no big deal. Just wanted to share.

Tasha Sharpe: I explained what type of air filter I needed, the attendant searched it in their system, got it and rang up my purchase. I am a Speed Perks Rewards member and was able to redeem my points ( which lowered my price) They also offer military service discounts, just provide proof of service (ie military ID or veterans card)
Alvin Ceasear: I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG PARTS TWICE AND THEIR INCOMPETENCE COST ME A LOT OF MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. I'm a humble guy but what they did was ridiculous. I hate to leave a review like this but I must be honest to help the next person.

Today April 27 I called to see if it’s in because it’s been long enough to get shipped. The associate tells me that it was sent back to the warehouse because it wasn’t picked up in time. My question is how do you send something back that has been paid for? And the fact I call everyday to see if it came in so why not call and let me know it’s in. The manager don’t know nothing he’s all over the place and the fact that I had to pay for shipping as well as the part. The least they can do is make sure I receive what I paid for. The manager told me the other day If it doesn’t come in just get a refund. What a bad experience this has been. Go somewhere else for your parts. The south Blvd store has bad customer service.Update: I’m changing this to three stars Manager Julio called me and had my part reordered, it came the day he said and he gave me a apology. The part also was cheaper. Thank you for making this situation right.

Alvin Ceasear: TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG ROTORS, BRAKES, AND CALIPER. So when I go to return over 400.00 dollars worth of hardware. They didn't want to return. the items for two reasons. First off one of the employees gave my wife the quote sheet instead of the receipt, secondly, he didn't ask for my wife's phone number for warranted items, and last but not least. One of the rotors was in the wrong box so the managed wouldn't return any of it. (We had an expensive jack and other tools as well we were trying to return.)The store manager made us call customer satisfaction and it was an hour-long process. Here comes the crazy part. It took the manager not even five minutes to find our invoice. He could have done this from the start, but customer satisfaction told him to return it but then he called the Regional Manager an hour later, which could have taken five minutes he finally gave my money back. He did apologize and I respect him for that but he needs to retrain some of his staff.

John Gaston: I called to see if a part was in stock. I got put on hold for a while but I needed the part so I waited. When the guy got on the phone he said "we're actually closed. We're short handed so I decided to close the store." This was 90 minutes before they ACTUALLY close. Autozone is a fortunate 500 company. They're actually in the top half. So they either need to hire somebody with a back bone or they need to quit being cheap and pay their help. I don't which one it is but what a joke. Also- why even answer the phone, why bother to put me on hold and lastly why pick back up? Tomorrow I'll say I'm short handed and lock the doors at work.

Sesalea Hylton: Stopped in to get replacement wipers on an ugly Wednesday morning. It was a slow day for them because of the weather. All of the gentleman were so helpful. When they saw us having trouble getting the wipers installed, two came to our rescue (we're usually pretty competent on our own but the rainy conditions made for slippery fingers). Kudos to all of these great employees!
Rodney Haynes: I called to see if they had a shock absorber for my vehicle. Jason said they did not have the item in stock but could have it by 7:30am tomorrow from Greensboro. I paid and pick up my order and proceed back home. I remove the faulty shock and prepared to install the new one. Comparing the old one to the new one, they were not the same. I replaced the old shock and called Monroe for assistance. Their customer service basically played the CYA card stating eventhough we state this part is for your vehicle, we can not be responsible if it does not fit your vehicle. I go back to the store to return the order. Mr. Garfield asked me some questions and we talked a bit about my problem (with Monroe also) and he said let's start over. He looked up the part for my vehicle and listened to the information I received from Monroe and identified two parts that were a possibility. We decided to order both parts and I would return with the bad part and compare it to the two possible replacements. Mr. Garfield said their orders come in about every two hours and mine should be in around 3:30. I return home, remove the defective shock again and returned to the store after 4:00. Mr. Garfield was gone for the day and there were customers at the counter. The gentleman at the counter acknowledged me and said he would be with be with me shortly. As I was waiting another gentleman approached me and asked if I needed help. I started my conversation with the question, have you received an order recently that should include a couple of shocks. He was unaware of any incoming orders and even asked another associate if he was aware of an order. So after this third trip I decided 3 strikes and you're out. I went to a competitor who had the part I needed, so I purchased the item online and pickup at the store. Got home within 30 minutes and installed the part within another 30 minutes. My lessons lerarned: exhaust all possible retail stores for a part before ordering. I will not stop shopping at O'Reilly's but they may be later on my call list in the future.

Nav: I went to autozone who told me I had a bad battery and alternator. After they tested the battery, they just went inside, no other words, nothing helpful.I was going to take my car to the shop and it was quoted 600-700$, instead of just jumping the gun I decided to get another opinion.I went to oreillys and Mr.Garfield, greeted me immediately, asked what I needed, and quickly came to test and replace the battery. Turns out the alternator was fine, mr. Garfield let me use his tools and was with me every step to make sure I learned how to take a battery out myself.I’m not sure what he’s being paid but he deserves more, truly a member of the community I’m glad to have met.

Rick Smiley: Main reason I give this location 5 stars is because of the employees that work there. I’ve been there a few times in recent months and every single time I go in I’m greeted at the door, asked if I need help, and am provided with an overall professional & friendly customer service experience. Nice to see in today’s world.

joshua Richardson: My go to O'Reilly. If they don't have what I need they get it for me. There is one employee that continues to turn me away from here though. Absolutely just a horrible employee that doesn't want to be there. Had to show her how to find what I needed.
