Appreciated how attentive the staff was in taking our order and picking out binding, etc. We were so looking forward to this working, which is why we were so disappointed to unroll it and find it sewn crooked. A linear pattern that should've easily been framed straight on got off by about 3-4" in one big singular wave. Pretty clearly a mistake. If the default was with the remnant, a phone call would've been appreciated. $550 of work for a remnant that was originally $75, and it's crooked? Not great. Disappointed.
Bianca Smith: I needed carpet installed stat as the company we had been working with really let us down. We needed it installed ASAP before our move in date. Mike was not only friendly and knowledgeable but he was efficient, honest, and reliable. He helped me select what I thought would be a comparable carpet to the one I had picked with the previous company. Not only did I get a better quality carpet, but the pricing saved us money too. The best part was that he had someone at my home to measure within a half hour, and had it installed the very next day. He communicated very well and got the job done fast. Noel and Daniel did an excellent job installing and left me clean space. All in all very professional! I highly recommend. 3 bedrooms and 1 large family room.

h h: Carpet Discount Warehouse installed carpet in our basement. We needed the same carpet replaced. We came out on this past Saturday and the first salesman said I was not his customer (something about rotation, not sure how rotation applies to a customer) but he'd help until Mike was available. Mike was pointed out to us and told we were waiting on him. We found our carpet and sat down to wait for Mike. Mike went from the front of the store to the back and managed to avoid us right smack in the middle each time. After a bit we decided Mike was too busy for a simple "be with you in a moment." We left and there was Mike at the front. He kept his eyes down and muttered something as we passed. This was a good experience for my daughter: she can see what lousy customer service looks like and what an appropriate customer response looks like. Georgia Carpet Warehouse finished the install under budget.
Cherrisse Hall: Carpet discount warehouse should change their name immediately! Nothing discount out their carpets. Michael the sales man was not the friendliest and at times pushy and dismissive. I chose a carpet for installation. Spoke to Michael to order it, he came to the house to measure snd drew it out which was nice and old school but looked cool. When it was time to price for the entire upstairs carpet area minus laundry room and two baths was nearly 720 square feet. I was quoted almost 6k to carpet the area. This price was more than double Lowe’s and Home Depot’s price for carpet plus installation, moving and replacing furniture with the possibility of placing laminate planks in my kitchen. Michael forgot to order my carpet and stated the carpet wouldn’t be in by my target date after waiting two weeks thinking he put in the order. I think in this case I dodged an opportunity of disappointment with these folks and will never shop there again.

When I told him I had an installer already he kept running off finding other things to do besides help me. I grew tired of standing there waiting for him so I left along with my buisness.

In addition, his knowledge of the products, the manufacturers and the industry was super impressive and his patience with me was most appreciated. Even the crew he sent for the install showed up on time and finished the job quickly without any issue. The room looks beautiful and I am very grateful for this experience. Stephen Young: I had a great experience getting a new carpet installed in my home. There are plenty of options to provide what you are looking for and Jim has a lot of knowledge on the products. The install took less than a day and the guys did a great job. They were respectful of the furniture they moved, they cleaned up after themselves, and the carpet looks fantastic.

Karl Curry: Having been effected negatively by supply side issues on the delivery of a bedroom set it was refreshing to deal with a company who sold a product that they actually had in stock and was able to deliver within 2 weeks. Add to it an impressive 2 man team who were efficient on the install and very good on their clean up and you can see why I must say this was a wonderful overall experience.

Jim came to the house and did the measuring and did a great job following up, then the install crew did the most amazing job, they were very conscientious and very professional, did not damage any of our freshly painted walls and moved all furniture as needed, so hard working! Would highly recommend, plus it was 1/3 of the price of the remnant price at Hall's, so that was a welcome break!

As part of our every day business we talk with many homeowners about their flooring &, I must say that we see some very poorly installed carpet, this is with the exception of those installed by Hall's. In my 27 years in business, I can honestly say that they are the absolute best. The owner, Keith Dunn & his staff do everything possible to take care of their clients. Hall's flooring is the only flooring retailer we recommend.

Dana was super in helping us pick out flooring & carpet and was great to work with. The install went great and on time.We had a water issue 24 hrs after the carpet was installed and Dana/Hall's recommended a great company to help get the carpet saved.Carpet Pros. Very helpful, and very quick, professional. They saved the carpet and the sub floor and also saved us a lot of $$ on total replacement.We don't do flooring replacement often, but if we ever need anything else we will certainly go back to Hall's flooring.

I contacted Halls Flooring by phone and email but no one resolved our issue, in fact no one from Management would even talk to us about the problem. We have filed a BBB complaint. We expected better from Halls as we were past customers.
Dianne Senn: I chose Hall's Flooring to replace my hardwood floor with vinyl flooring and I was very pleased. My sales person, Gregg Rinder, was very knowledgeable and courteous and kept me informed each step of the process. The installation crew arrived on time and was spot on.
Char Roland: I would NEVER recommend this company for any project. I was scheduled for an installation which never showed up and had to make multiple phone calls to find out about why and trying to reschedule. After 5 calls to the manager/ owner, I never got a return call. They are very unorganized and don’t seem to care at all!
Heather Hahn: I hired Hall's to install hardwood floors on the second floor of our new home. Mr. Rinder is extremely knowledgeable about the products and product lines in the industry and his installation crew consists of top-notch craftsman, who were also extremely considerate and professional. I could not be happier with the floors. Mr. Rinder guided me to the ideal product and his team did the rest. The floors are gorgeous and have transformed the rooms. I plan on enjoying the grain and color of the hardwoods for years to come.
Samantha Hering: Do NOT use unless you want to basically set your money on fire. DO NOT USE.After initial install of wool carpet it looked wavy- the installer that put it in said he has seen this before and it was the padding our sales guy choose (the recommended one for the carpet) so we changed it. We did want a more plush padding anyways. However the sales guy said it wasn't that and the felt padding would be fine- but again we wanted softer padding. He said it just needed to settle (spoiler alert: It's STILL wavy and it was installed months ago and they came out to steam the rooms but "forgot" to do certain rooms) we changed out all the padding THEN the company tried to blame the issues on the padding now. When the issues were there with the padding in the first place (issues listed below).the wavy ness was JUST the start of our problems: -carpet coming lose on the edges-carpet lifting in the center of the room- still the wave in the carpetthey blamed it on the house /padding which the carpet that had been taken up before fit perfectly and didn't have any issues (it was the exact same type of wool carpet, just a different color) so no the issue is the poor workmanship/the company not caring.Eventually, They had a different installer come out to give his perspective on the install and only said there was nothing wrong with the install and that my eyes were lying, even though I was physically lifting the edge of the carpet off the floor (due to not being tacked down). I asked this particular installer to leave my house because it was clear he wasn't going to address any issues and then he became adamant he wasn't leaving. I told him I would call the cops if he didn't leave and still he refused and told me to call the cops. Ultimately, he left at the direction of the salesman. For an installer to refuse to leave an owner's home at their request is unexplainable and I think is something everyone should be aware of before using this company.So now after A LOT of money spent on this terrible carpet job and padding, we are having to replace it because it's SO BAD. RUN AWAY. Do not use this company.

PJ Zonie: Had Hall's Flooring install Karndean vinyl planks in several rooms of my condo (kitchen,entryway, 2-bathrooms). The glue they used is seeping upward, through the seams of the planks, leaving a sticky mess. No help in resolving issue from Hall's Flooring.
Carla Jansen: We recently purchased a townhouse in Charlotte and decided to re-carpet the bedrooms. At the recommendation of our real estate agent, we went to Halls Flooring. We found a great piece of carpet that matched the color of the bathroom tiles and complemented the wall paint. I was so excited about the find. Three weeks later the carpet was installed and we moved into our new property the next day.A day or two later, after living with the carpet and seeing it in different light situations, I realized that the carpet seemed to have pink undertones. I still had the original sample so I pulled it out and placed it on the new carpet. The colors looked completely different. I was quite distraught to think that we spent all this money on new carpeting and it wasn’t the right color. Clearly, the dye lot was different. Every time I looked at the carpet all I could see was pink, not the taupe I thought I ordered!I decided to go back to Halls with the original sample and a cutting of the carpet that was installed. When I showed the two samples to our salesman, Dan, he said he would look into it but it would probably take a couple weeks. I was not expecting a good outcome. I assumed that the manufacturer was going to explain it by saying it as a change in the dye lot and I’d have to live with it.After a few weeks Dan called me to say that he received a new cutting from the manufacturer but he felt it looked worse the what had been installed. He said he’d request another sample from the manufacturer. After the second piece came back with no improvement, he recommended that we select something different. Really? Wow! Dan said he just wanted me to be happy.The new carpet has now been installed and I am thrilled with it. I never expected such a positive experience.I am so happy that I shopped at Halls. They are truly committed to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them for future carpet purchases.Thank you Halls and Dan!!!!

Lea Williams: I had a great experience with Hall’s Flooring. We needed a stair runner installed because we have very narrow/tall stairs and the folks at Hall’s made it an easy process. My salesman was Brandon and he helped me pick out a carpet from the outlet warehouse (very reasonably priced—they have tons to choose from out there); after I picked it out, Brandon came out to take measurements within 1 week and we had it installed within 1 month (they were able to fit me in before Christmas—I was so thrilled)! Our installer was Tim and he was very efficient/professional. The finished product is beautiful and high quality.

Jason Miller: I decided about a month ago to continue the same Beautiful high-end laminate wood floors I have in my Living and Dinning rooms into both of my Bedrooms and Bedroom Closets. I did my research and got 4 different estimates, there was really only one choice! Carpet One! They had installed the original flooring in my living areas. When I called I spoke with Rebecca King, she was absolutely delightful and we set up a time for her to come over and give me an in-home estimate. Within a day or two she got a quote to me. Once I paid a 50% deposit the flooring and materials were ordered. She was flexible with me in regards to timing since I was having crown molding installed a few days prior to the delivery of the materials so that they could acclimate properly for a few days before the actual installation. The flooring crew that came the day of the installation were professional. Even with a language barrier they knew what to do and took great care not to damage and of my things. Understand that with any contract work like this there is going to be a mess at the end! The crew did a decent job cleaning up afterwards. Enough at least to make my job a little bit easier once they left. Carpet One is easy to work with and with in 2 days after the installation I payed the other 50% once they knew I was satisfied with the work that had been done. Rebecca was excellent and easy to get a hold of when I needed her. I have even included some photos below! Thank you Carpet One!

Jessica Vegan Jessica: We just had some Shaw laminate replaced with new Shaw laminate, yesterday by Carpet 2 Go. We have had a lot of work done to our house and we have had experience with companies where everything went great, to the opposite extreme and with Carpet 2 Go, everything went great! KC at the store did a great job, the installation scheduler was very understanding of us needing to wait for subfloor repairs prior to installation, and the 2 installers who came out to replace the flooring yesterday did a fantastic job! So glad we chose Carpet 2 Go and will again in the future, if we need flooring work. It seems rare to find a company for house work where every part of the process goes smoothly, so this is definitely very appreciated.

The best part was he didn’t make me wait days to get the quote. He sent it back the same day. In addition to this he followed up with me every step of the way. Never came off as a pushy sales guy. He was genuine and sincere and did his best to honor his word. He worked hard to get my carpet delivered and installed in a timely manner. I found the install team be equally awesome. They came the day before to prime the floor. I never had to worry if they were going to show up or not. They showed up and for the job done. This is a company who provides customer service and quality work. From start to finish. Even after the project was done and paid for KC followed up. That to me says they care. You aren’t just a number to them!!! I can’t recommend carpet to go enough. They have a customer for life!!!

Dalon Williams: I first set up an appointment online to have someone measure my home and bring samples. Fred Tomasello called and verified the appointment and showed up at the designated time. He brought samples for us to review, measured multiple rooms and provided an estimate all within an hour. We had nearly the whole house that was going to get carpet. Working with Fred was great.Beyond that, the scheduling and installation was flawless. The Install team was very fast and hardworking. They carefully moved the furniture from our rooms, installed the carpet, and moved everything back to where it was. This was all set to be done in 2 days but was completed in 1.5 days. I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend using this company. Thank you Carpet2Go!

Mark Nicholson: My wife and I recently purchased 1,500 square feet of wool carpet from Stark carpet in Charlotte. We have been trying to rid our home of synthetic materials and thought wool carpet might be an option for us. The salesman, Andrew, made extreme claims about how perfect wool carpet is, how it will not stain, is perfect for kids and you will not have to replace it "until you get tired of looking at it". He must have seen us coming a mile away. The carpet has been down for three months and we already have stains despite not wearing shoes, eating or drinking on our entire second floor. He also did not mention that wool carpet has to be vacuumed (about) every day. Oh, and you can not use the rotating brush on the vacuum because it can destroy the fibers. Yes, you have to set the vacuum to the hardwood setting; No, it doesn't do a good job on that setting. Finally, the customer service. I spoke with Andrew the day we bought the carpet and that was it. The installation was handled by his assistant who is completely inept. I called her multiple times to coordinate the installation and she stated that we do not schedule installation until the carpet comes in. What happens the following week? The installation guys show up to install the carpet and we had no idea they were coming. We had to rearrange other projects in order to accommodate Stark carpet. On a positive note, the installation guys were great! Julio was courteous and professional. I can not, in any way, recommend Stark carpet.I wanted to update my review based on a recent experience with our Stark carpet. Andrew (the salesman) was certain that Stark's wool carpet was extremely durable, stain resistant and great for kids. I am guessing Andrew does not have children when he made his "wool carpet is perfect for kids" claim because my 5 year old woke up at 1 am and vomited all over the carpet. After attending to my child, we put baking powder all over the vomit and let it sit for about 20 mins and then tried to vacuum it up. No success. We called a local carpet cleaning company (Prestige Chem Dry) that held the "wool safe" certification. Chem Dry did as good of a job as can be expected but as you can see, the stain is still there and is incredibly unsightly. If you have young children or lead an active lifestyle in any manner, I would strongly encourage you to think twice about wool carpet for your home. If you do decide on wool, I would not recommend Stark carpet of Charlotte.
