I had a pair of earrings that were a gift to my mother from my father before he passed away and was considering turning them into something different because I wasn't wearing them. I was referred to Sarah by a friend of mine and I really could not have had a better experience. She was so warm, taking the time to really talk to me and get to know me. I thought it would be so difficult for me to go through with it because of how important the earrings were to me, but after meeting Sarah it was a no-brainer. She was so patient with me before we finally decided on a necklace design, and I cried when I saw the final product. I wear it every single day and constantly get compliments. Sarah created a stunning necklace for me from my late husband's wedding ring, my wedding ring and my engagement diamond. I was widowed almost 3 years ago and struggled with what to do with his wedding band. I kept wearing mine. It felt wrong to remove it from my finger but it also didn't feel quite right to continue wearing it. A few months ago I started thinking about ways I could transform the rings into something else, a way I could still honor our marriage and carry the memory of our love. I decided that a necklace would be perfect. I wanted both our rings and my engagement diamond incorporated into the design and I had to find the right person to create the jewelry. Sarah was that person. She met me at my home and I showed her some photos of ideas I had found. We both were attracted to the same design. She did an amazing job of transforming the rings and the necklace turned out even better than I could have imagined.

The design is reminiscent of the yin-yang symbol which has become especially meaningful to me. It represents light/dark, joy/sorrow, life/death, wife/widow. I wear the necklace every day.
