4worldlovers: Cancellation Policy: We require a 24 hour notice for cancellations and reschedules. We allow for a grace period of 15 minutes following the scheduled appointment; clients later than this will forfeit their appointment and be charged for a late cancellation. We charge 50 percent of the bill for same day cancellations.

There will be a charge of $10.00 daycare fee for 6+ hours in our facility. This includes a potty break and lounge area time.

Matting Charges – apply to dogs heavily matted all over or in specific places that need extra attention to remove

Handling Charges – are added when extra help is needed for completing the grooming process due to age, temperament and stress levels of pet.

***The Big Floofs” are by priced at 75.00 an hour. Price depends on size, coat type, hair condition. We will give you a price during drop off after a consultation- (Examples: Samoyeds, Newfoundland’s, Malamutes, St. Bernard’s, Great Pyrenees)

These are base prices! Prices vary depending on coat type, condition, health, age, as well as dog temperament.

If the hair is matted/tangled or full coated we will charge the “Full haircut price”

Classic Grooming had its meager beginnings in a small 400 square foot facility behind the Panther’s Stadium off Morehead Street in January 2003. We perfected our grooming skills and our services and we were in such demand that we needed a facility 10 times our original size. In 2008, we expanded to a 4,000 square foot space, where we are currently, in the Historic SouthEnd neighborhood.

Danyelle began grooming at the age of sixteen. After majoring in business at UNCC-Charlotte she began a career in Real Estate. While she enjoyed her work in the corporate world, her passion was grooming and she continued to do this part time. As the market shifted during the recession she and her husband Rod, considered venturing out on their own. Their vision was an upscale salon atmosphere where the customer experience was a priority. They wanted a safe, relaxing and clean environment for grooming pets where the employees and pets are treated like family.


In 2011, their first location debuted in Matthews inside the Weddington Corners Shopping center. The couple scraped together about $16,000 to open the doors. Her husband Rod tells everyone, we put every penny into it we possibly could, and our heart and souls.
