Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region ReStore Wendover: what do users think?
Tiffanie Wennersten: They have everything you could possibly need to remodel and decorate your house. This location is in a good safe area, it’s pretty much clean. My absolute only issue is for used items some of the prices were a bit up there. Other than that everything was great and easy to find what you need in designated areas.
debra west: Me an my husband often are repairing, plumbing, remodeling, painting or just welding and making stuff, This store is great for that on a budget and it helps the community in need also. So if you need anything for anything, try this store.
Ashley Quilty: Consistently one of the best thrift stores in Charlotte. Great selection and they keep the prices reasonable
William Cloos: I’d recommend you avoid donating here. I was turned away before the bay was posted to be closed. The excuse was the bay was full and it was only one person working that area. Seemed like he wanted to leave early and not have to unload my relatively small load. Posted times for donation is until 4:00 Tues. and I drove up as he finished unloadinga couch from another donation but didn’t bother talking to me and closed the garage door.
Jennifer Wood: Whoever AYANA is at Habitat that called me, left me a call back number to a voicemail that is full and doesn't take messages totally sucks.
The Gift of Chiropractic: I love visiting this ReStore because I never know what they're carrying and it adds to the excitement to find something that's usable, affordable, and something that adds value to what I'm putting together. Affordable prices and a great selection. Plus, they have a coffee shop and bookstore attached to it that I really enjoy. A lovely store that I will continue to return to time and time again
Gertrude Kimbrough: Two men picked up our items on 3-11-23. Thank you so much for your help and professionalism.
Kerrigan: They seem to have forgotten that they are a secondhand store and not retail. You can find some really nice, trendy furniture here from time to time - but it is often overpriced for used, donated goods. You can buy brand new furniture for the same price that they’re selling some of these items - it’s no wonder the store is often over filled with ugly, outdated pieces.
kim lee (Sosa): Love habit
Paul Brown: Anything and everything you would ever need for a home.
Lauren Sharpe: A huge selection of furniture, vintage pieces, building materials, lighting, home decor, and more.Plus, it’s supporting a great cause!
Leslie: They have some of the best used furniture in town. With great quality and great prices. If you want to do a make over just to give it a try. You definitely won't regret it.
Stephen Chiccarelli: Great store, great selection; great book department. Clean store, super nice staff.Highly recommended
Aaron S: Great deals to be had
Jessica Hollis-Summers: Love this place ❤
Lima Bravo: It all depends on what you are looking for. I am sure that building materials may offer good deals, but that's not what I look for. I understand that they want to get top dollar from their donations, but it is not a place to find bargains. I have found some of the china pieces for less on line. Every once in a while it is possible to get a good deal, so keep looking
Rod Joyner: always a great place to find gently used furniture as well as reasonably price new furniture
Julie Stevens: Great finds here.
Misty Baker: I love the coffee shop here and all of the miscellaneous household items available.
J T: Good selection of stuff, but a lot of their prices are really quite high, sometimes absurdly so for used and often imperfect items. I was there today, used small ceramic planters ranged from $5-8, so they stayed there, a single, prettier kitchen chair I liked was for $35 (!), so that stayed there, ancient used lamps for $20 or more. A throw pillow I liked was $15. $10 for a nice curtain rod. Seems a bit crazy for items that are used and were donated and literally cost them nothing to acquire. If you're on a budget looking for basic thrift store items, you're better off at Salvation Army or Value Village on Central. If you're trying to repair your home on the cheap, you might do well.
Mary Jankiewicz (MJ): Has alof of stuff to look thru. Need to know prices of item new. I know for charity, but some prices are high. Can buy new for few extra dollars.

Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region ReStore Wilkinson: what do users think?
Tiffanie Wennersten: They have a lot of heavily used to gently used items. Some areas of the store is a bit cluttered. Some of the prices, depending on what you’re looking for, are a bit high for used items. But overall they have everything you need for a remodel
Susana Crowders: Great store with lots of amazing finds.
John Davidson: Great customer service, thanks for having spare tape measures handy (I always leave mine in the car), good selection, fair pricing, though I would lower the prices on framed pictures and appliances. Also, I wish there were more books and DVDs. Otherwise, I like this location.
Shirley Jackson: This location has the best selection of furniture in the Charlotte area, good prices and furniture is clean and in good condition.
Heather Amler: Bought a new washer dryer set but had to pick up next day for truck rental. The appliance was scraped up badly when I went to get it but the guy refused to credit me for damage when I pointed it out.Be sure to pick up stuff same day.
Yamileth Paz: Excelente atención.excellent attention...

Brenda Stephens: 12/05/2020 I wanted to purchase a bedroom door, I located the size I wanted but there was no one to assist in loading on the cart , so I had to struggle with it myself. Once I got it down and on the cart I noticed holes in the back of the door so I ask if I could get a discount and was told no by a worker. I then asked. If there's someone else I could speak to and she said yes. As I began to ask the manager the same worker interjected and said all items priced as is and the manager then repeated the same thing. This was a hollow door with holes in the back of it and they wanted to charge me $45. I walk out and search for the same door at home depot and its $38 brand new!!!!! Please price check other places before being damaged used items thinking that you will get a deal!!!!
Wingate Neighborhood: Great finds Today 50% Off light fixtureJackpot 😜
G B: This has to be the best Habitat for Humanity anywhere! Lots of stuff in good shape!
Bethany Elai.: They do not budge on prices, but have amazing deals!
LamaR McLaughlin: Chris has outstanding customer serviceGreat placeFound what I needed Thank You

Habitat For Humanity Charlotte Region ReStore Pineville: what do users think?
Lois Bennett: Recently I called this location for a specific sized item. David answered my call, asked to put me on hold, went and measured their item. Unfortunately theirs was the wrong size. This saved us a trip there—during bad weather. Such good customer service should not go without acknowledging. Thank you again David.
Dan Vaughan: Very pricey
ALYSSA GARRICK: I had the great fortune of meeting Elwyn and Miguel when they came to my home to pick up donations. They were professional, conscientious and extremely friendly. Habitat is fortunate to have these men working with the organization and the community definitely benefits from their spirit and commitment as well!
Michael Crennan: Prices are a lot higher than most resale stores. No electronics at this location aside from appliances that are from Walmart. Most of the decor prices are a lot higher than goodwill. A lot of large quantity lightbulbs are much higher than Lowes.Staff is super nice though. It’s a big store but just because of the prices, I’ll probably not return.
Joe Maldonado: Bought a bedframe in manufactures box that said it was for a twin/full size mattress. It was not at all messured out to be 2 plus inches to short on width and 9 plus inches too short on length. So I had to go else where ro purchase one for my sons bed. Asked if we could return it 2 days later and was very rudely told no and that there was no way the mattress did not fit. Explained that we still had original box and ll pieces and that we mesured multiple times and even tried to put matress on top and it is not right. Even said we would set up instore to show them.Refused to give us our $50 back or even offer a credit toward another item that we were looking at. Then was told by the manager that if we did not want it we could donate it back to them.I really liked the restore before and donated many items and purchased many items in the past. NEVER want to deal with them again after being treated and spoken to like garbage
Dahimy Montejo: A lot of great stuff, great deals!!!
William Zeledon: Very good
Dwight Smith: Great store!
Donna Heath: Awesome service, staff is friendly, knowledgeable. Great prices.
Michael Elkins: One of the nicest re stores I have been. Nice!
Brooks Quinn: Great place to donate household items
Camille Roberts: Excellent establishment. Great deals and items for your home at such a reasonable price.
Todd Messinger: Very disappointed in the furniture donation service. The driver was rude from the very start and immediately said he would not take the couch (photo attached; one seat cushion up to show condition under it) because of its condition. It’s unfortunate because the couch is in great condition and from Arhaus ($6-8k most likely when originally bought). The driver then proceeded to rule out other perfectly fine pieces of furniture.
Anna Marie Peterson: Good stuff. Reasonable prices
Myo Z Oo: Nice people.good place and prices. Worth a look. They may have something you did not know you needed. Go check it out sometime
Carrie Ann: What a wonderful place. The people are so kind and encouraging and friendly. It was such a happy place and the prices were awesome. The things I found were things that I would never in a million years find anywhere else. I'm having to refurnish my four bedroom after saving it from foreclosure and Habitat for humanity has been my saving Grace.
Rachelle Lucas: Staff very friendly but their used furniture over priced for being used.
Joe Berry: Went to this habitat to see what they had available and compared to the habitat in rock hill the habitat in pineville is over price and didn't have that many options waste of a drive.
Kam: A lot of great items but definitely overpriced for used items
Matthew Speas: Vicky (volunteer) was fantastic. She helped me access hard to reach items, carried items to the register, and helped me locate pieces I needed to complete my shelving project. Why can’t people who actually get paid offer customer service like that anymore?
Matthew Zimbelman: You won’t find a more helpful group of people. Big Mike, Camille, and Eddie will drop everything to do whatever is needed to help.

The Salvation Army Donation Center: what do users think?
Arlene Drakeford: Always can find what I want! Hate they not open. I love that store!
Dennis Green: This store is closed until further notice - per sign on the door. Some furniture inside. Most clothes are gone. Someone was walking at the rear of the store after coming out of the back room. I’m not sure it will reopen. The one in Mattthews was closed completely down.
Adam Bolin (StreetShark23): It was the best thrift store in Charlotte. It’s been closed now for 15 months.
James W: How is this store still closed ? I’ve driven over thinking to myself it has to be open now, everything else is.. nope.. not sure what’s up.
Paige Snider: This store cares nothing about their customers or donors. The store has been closed for 2 months because of 'covid', although other SA stores are open. Have they never heard of cleaning? They leave the store closed wasting donor money on rent. Also, they don't inform Google Maps that the store is closed, nor do they put a message on the phone line saying it's closed; no they tell you it's open and let you waste your money and time traveling there unnecessarily. We actually called the main office for Charlotte and they told us it was open, so that we'd waste a trip. I've given thousands of dollars to the SA over the years, but would never donate another penny to this incompetently run operation.
Lorri Schetgen: I am sad as I am writing this review because I think this organization is designed to help many people. Unfortunately I experienced several missteps by this organization and do not recommend you take your donations to this location. On Monday 11/9/20 I attempted to call the Pineville Matthews location to verify if some of the items I had were accepted there.Problem #1 - Phone answered to auto statement and then after stating someone would be with me promptly it hung up. I tried this again with the same result.Problem #2 - Stopped at location to try and donate an entire SUV full of gently used goods. Spoke to an angry man who was not polite. (no biggie) But his next actions were wrong and sad.Problem #3 - This man proceeded to take the first bucket of my donations and throw them down the length of a donation truck. Games spilling everywhere and I could hear items breaking.Problem#4 - Appalled and disappointed I reacted by saying if that is the way this organization treated donation items that may benefit someone else I was taking my donations elsewhere he LAUGHED. I asked for the rest of the bucket back and instead he threw the items into the truck faster. I rushed to gather all the other items from the ground that I had removed from my car while he laughed.Problem #5 - I attempted to follow through and talk to the main office about this man being relocated within the organization and maybe not working with donors and their goods. The local number was an endless loop back to the main options with the stated operator never being an option just a loop back to main menu. Not cool, not helpful, not getting my donations ever again.
peydin pennick: I really like this place. I always find great clothing that is set a good price but the real price of what it originally is worth is way more . Amazing place to shop ☺️❤️
Earl James: I like the salvation army and want to support it. However, this store staples tags onto clothing. Removing the staple will very easily cause a rip particularly in ladies blouses. This is stupid retailing.
Moi B: Definitely won't be back! Cashier can say good afternoon to everyone else but didn't even look at me or respond while I greeted him and made a payment.
Kathy McIver: This was one of the best Salvation Army stores we have ever been in!
Patricia Gaddis: Large store, but I found nothing worthwhile. Prices tend to be a bit higher than at other stores of this type. I have an issue with the fact they use staples to attach price tags as well. When you try to remove the staple from an article of clothing it tends to leave a hole, one reason I rarely buy any clothing.
Wanda Wilson: Love this place. Good prices and friendly staff. Got a vintage Sunbeam hand mixer half price for $1.98!
Paul Whiting: One of the bigger stores in the area. Lots of items, furniture and a huge clothing selection.
Ray Blackfeather: Found great prices..
Clifton Prater: Very well organized. Good selection. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Chloe Powell: STAY AWAY!! My husband, 11yr old child, and grandpa were just harassed by a heavy set bald black male employee!! He accused us of stealing for taking off our coat then putting it back on!! The item/coat in question... my kid's Carowinds coat jacket (our 11yr old son)... has OUR last name written on it in permanent marker (for many reasons!) !!! Please do not shop here. This employee made a HUGE mistake. He didn't embarrass us. He embarrassed himself and Salvation Army as an organization. We demanded the video footage! We were willing to call the authorities to sort it out. He got aggressive called us names and stomped towards us as we called him out on his HUGE mistake. We demand an apology!!
Mario rosete: WARNING!!!Stay away!!!! I was shopping for a coat, having my son take HIS coat off and try some on. On my way out one male employee asks me to pay for my son's coat he was wearing when we walked in!! We purchased at Carrowinds! Do not accuse customers of stealing without actually seeing someone steal. This was very wrong. Not only did he not apologize he called us names on the way out. He needs to go.
Emily Smith: Half off all clothing on Wednesdays! Good selection, a bit on the smaller side compared to the Hwy 74 location, but great staff and great prices!
Daniel Morbitzer: This store is really big with a lot of great clothes.
Bob Lord: I like to donate here than other places.
Violetta Gaddy: Nice workers and great clothes selection

The Salvation Army Donation Drop Box: what do users think?
Jason Hunt: Full of liars & dads who abandoned their special needs kids. Thanks peter
Bella Rebels: Called to donate some items, they called me to reschedule from next day. I have been waiting all day. No one showed up OR called! I explained to them that I would be charged this is why I schedule this pick a few days before my move out. This was not cool at all someone could have called before they closed.
Maegan Hill: I Donate Everything to this place!!! One day I'll go in!!!
