    Jamie Bernal: I've been here a few times. The selection of wet cat food is decent but usually messy and not completely stocked. The low rating is due to management/the company trying to scam me out of money. Common sense is not common here.
    Golddslugz: I bought a small betta fish on 6/11/23 unfortunately it died on 6/19/23 so i called the store earlier in the day and spoke to the store manager Leo who advised me to come in for an exchange. I asked was it necessary to bring the dead fish in to exchange it. (Who wants to walk around with a dead fish) I told him I have a video he said it wouldn’t be necessary & said if i came in before 5 he would take care of it because he knows the situation but he would notify the other manager if i came in later.I came in this evening at 7pm. To do the exchange. After the transaction was complete and the cashier (a white lady with glasses) said that next time i need to bring the dead fish in. I told her that i spoke with the store manager and that i would not be walking around with a dead fish. I told her i have a video if she’d like to see it. It’s quite aggravating to think someone would be dishonest to get a 7.99 fish!!

    Megan Elizabeth Katz: Took our dog Porter to the grooming salon, and paid an extra $15 for them to grind his nails. When my husband picked him up, they didn't mention any issues. When he got home, I checked his nails and his front paws weren't done at all. I called and asked, and they said it took 2 people to attempt his nails. I've had them done at the Rock Hill location and never had an issue, but fine. However, they still charged me $15 for the nail grind we obviously didn't receive, and if they had mentioned at pickup about the nail issue, then I wouldn't have paid for the extra service. I did speak with the manager, and he was nice and understanding, but I'm annoyed that I now have to travel back out to Pineville to get a refund when I never should have gotten charged in the first place.

Nonetheless, the Humane Society was extremely kind and helpful.Moving forward, I'm personally committed to engaging my dog in behavior classes and having him accompany me the next time I adopt.Somebody, please go get Alejandro (also consider renaming him)! He's the best dog ever!!!! He deserves the world x10.Regardless of everything I wrote previously, my experience has been good.Tips:1. Make an appointment2. Be prepared to spend up to $3003. Ask if you can bring your current dog or cat to see if they will get along!4. Truly try to prepare yourself for the best and the worst. Some of these dogs have been abandoned or traumatized...etc. Have patience, have the best snacks ever, and commit to them.I feel like I failed and it's the worst feeling ever.Facility Overall/Tips:1. The staff overall are pretty cool, friendly, and knowledgeable.2. They have loads of affordable services.3. You'll have the best experience if you visit on a weekday and make an appointment.4. And all of your lizards, birds, and fishes needs.They also have an adoption area for pets.The entire store was pet friendly, with large, well-lit aisles and a plethora of products, for even the most discerning pet owner.The staff members that I spoke with were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and professional.If you have a pet already and/or wish to adopt another one, this is the ideal location.I personally have a large menagerie of animals that I look after. From raccoons, opossums, hummingbirds, feral cats, and anything else that shows up on my patio looking for food.And yes, these are all wild animals that are fed and remain outdoors (for obvious reasons).I find my interactions with all of God's creatures, both therapeutic and calming.If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like.     Danielle Martin: Super helpful and knowledgeable staff was able to help me find the right option for my dogs dietary needs within my budget. If you have a pet with food allergies, this place is a great option! Also, all of the animals for sale in the store looked very well cared for and healthy unlike at other pet stores.
    Jacqueline Eugenia: I was looking at an adorable guinea pig that was available for adoption yesterday. I could not tell the gender because the guinea pig was moving really fast. An associate was adding some product to the habitat and I asked them if they knew the gender of the guinea pig. The associate responded with “I can’t tell you the gender because we actually aren’t allowed to tell the gender of the animals to customers”. They also proceeded to say “I’m not sure what the gender is anyways”. This to me is odd in a pet store. Not only should associates know basic things like being able to distinguish male versus female pets, but claiming that the genders cannot be told is very strange. I will not support a pet store that refuses to tell the gender of a pet for adoption. This to me is funny, unacceptable business. Refusing to inform customers the gender of adoptable pets can lead to some serious problems for customers only looking for males or females (in my case, male or spayed female). I will not shop in a pet store that has funny business like this. In addition, the small pet products are overpriced compared to other pet stores or Amazon. Don’t shop for small pet products here.
    Allyson Colaco: Great pet store — we go for the bathing station. There are three stalls where you can bathe your pet — the store provides shampoo/conditioner options and clean towels. It is so convenient! The team is hire friendly. Our dogs loves to go “shopping” after the bath to pick out a treat, too!
    Julie Hutchens Delesdernier: I bought a fish on Thursday and on Tuesday night it was dead. Policy requires the fish and a sample of the water for a refund. I returned it with the water and because it had the dead fish in it they said the water was not able to be tested. I completely do not recommend buying fish from this store. Customer service was a crock

    Laura McCarthy: Pathetic return policy. You have to have a VIP account to get your money back, otherwise they’ll only give you store credit. No one is “authorized” to override the system. Don’t bother calling the customer service line like they suggest in all of their responses to their bad business. You’ll be put on hold and told repeatedly that you are first in line. They basically just stole over $70 from me.
